Ive been through at least half a dozen different stylists since moving here four years ago and suffered through a lot of bad haircuts before discovering Dolce Vita and Jenny. She got my hair exactly right the first time out. Great salon, great stylist.

Everyone there work courteous and very welcoming. They tried to anticipate any need you may have and my hairstylist really went to Great lengths to style my hair the way I wanted.

I have been self coloring my hair black for over 10 years! I needed to get this harsh coloring out. I made an appointment with Jenny. She is a miracle worker. It will take several spots to get my color to where I want it, but in one visit shes dramatically changed my hair from black, dull, frizzy and lifeless to a beautiful darker brown with lovely highlights. I cant wait for my next appt! See my before and after!

I tend to get really nervous about haircuts and color. Rachel is so patient and understanding! She does such an excellent job of supporting me that Ive tried new things. I first came to her after my first balayage at another salon left me in tears and with spots on my hair. Rachel fixed it. I am allergic to a lot of things, and she always works with me. When I had a reaction to a product sold by the salon, they let me return it! I wont go anywhere else.Updated 10/24/2021I am a faithful customer at this business and am always floored by how much I appreciate the expertise and talent on display. Rachel is fantastic and I am grateful I started with her a few years ago. Im there for hours each time and I see the artistry of each stylist and would recommend this business hands down to anyone! This last time, my hair looked so good I kept getting distracted by myself in every mirror I walked past!

I love Dolce Vita Salon. Jenny was fabulous and fun. She helped fix my rough self-done quarantine cut. I will be going back again soon to let her play with my hair more. I was able to keep my funky look while looking more polished and professional for my day job. I will be back soon.

I am unbelievably happy with my hair cut. I had not had my hair cut in 2 years, it grows like weed and was heavy, always tied in scrunchies and blah..Mayra listened to me about my life style and what I felt comfortable with with my personality.I feel free, its lighter, moves beautifully and is incredibly flattering. My regular hairdresser is closed, due to the ongoing quarantine issues. Because I wasn’t sure when it would be reopening, I decided to take a leap of faith with a new salon. I am very impressed with‘Dolce Vita’. A very cosy and clean setting, with professional and welcoming ladies. I was given a fabulous haircut & styling by lovely Maddi. This salon is absolutely beautiful. It’s very aesthetically pleasing and in a gorgeous modern victorian setting. The owner Kimberly is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable about her profession. The stylists are very nice and they have a large selection of Redken products (my favorite!) and other great brands available for purchase at the counter. Kate did a great job for my layered bob. She asked a lot of questions to really understand what I wanted at the beginning. During the cutting, she explained very clearly what she wanted to do next and kept checking with me about length, style etc. She also taught me a few tricks about how to blow dry my air to create certain styles. This was my first time to Dolce Vita Salon. I was not sure if my thick and coarse hair would be taken good care of. I really love what Kate did for me and received a lot of compliments from friends and family. She will surely be my go to stylist in Santa Rosa in the future.

Having just moved to Santa Rosa and needing a hair cut, I chose Dolce Vita based on the reviews on Yelp. Initially, I was somewhat dismayed as I arrived on time for my online appointment. Sat in the reception room for about 15 minutes with no acknowledgment of my presence. Finally two women came to the desk and chatted awhile until one of them, Natalie-asked if she could help.. There was a lot of confusion as apparently the online rez could not be found. But-Natalie came to the rescue. She was actually off that afternoon but had come in to the air-conditioned salon to cool off! She took me under her wings and I had a magical experience.. She paid attention to my what I wanted and did not want. Before the cut however, she gave me a complimentary scalp treatment! And the hair cut/style was just what I wanted. Natalie is a warm, positive, free spirited young woman and I was so glad that serendipity brought us together.. Thanks Natalie!!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. Natalie Comora was my stylist. She took her time, walked me through everything she was doing. I dont go to many places to cut and style my hair because I have a lot of hair and I have several textures which can be challenging to work with. I love my result! I was offered sparkling water and snacks as well.

The salon is very clean and professional regarding COVID-19 safety precautions. I love the cut Madi gave me, which took about 6 inches off for a beautiful long bob. I plan to be back when its time for another cut and will most likely get my color done next time, too.

I love this salon! Ive been coming here for about 9 months for various services. The atmosphere is chic but laid back and friendly. I see people of all ages in here, both stylists and clients. I usually go to Rachel, and her work, attitude and the results are always just fantastic! . She just gave me an awesome haircut last week and Ive gotten compliments on it everywhere. I have also seen Danae for color a few times and honestly, I think you just cant go wrong with anybody there. Im so glad I found this place! You will be too :)

I recently had my hair colored and cut by the wonderfully talented Madi! I sat in the chair and told her I was in her hands and to work her magic. And she worked her MAGIC! Madi took the time to explain why she suggested the cut and color and she thoroughly explained every step during the visit. I can not say enough great things about her! Also I absolutely adore the owner Kimberly! She is full of knowledge, passion and life!

Dolce Vita Salon is wonderful. Always greeted with a smile and offered a beverage. The salon is beautiful. They offer great products for hair. Jill does a wonderful job keeping my hair looking great.

I had extensions put in by Natalie ($200) and they faded.quickly as they were defective. The company sent new ones,, and she took out the defective ones and replaced them . . . then charged me to put them back in! Its like getting your brakes fixed and you immediately finding out they are defective. The mechanic replaces them and charges you for his labor to fix the defective product he originally put in. Really? Also, I was told that if I didnt like the shampoo and conditioner l I bought I could return them. Natalie told me it was okay to bring them back the next time I came in. When I did return them, I was told they werent returnable. I had to argue to get refunded. Not returning to this salon.

I’m naturally a light brunette but highlight my hair, so I’m a very light blonde. Natalie was very attentive to what I was looking for - a less brassy blonde than what I had going on. She did an outstanding job and explained what she was doing step by step...and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Going to Dolce Vita is such a treat for me. I ALWAYS feel welcomed by all the staff. Kimberly, Natalie and Maddie have all worked on my hair at some point and have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and confident with my hair style choices. The scalp treatment is an absloute must. My hair is always shinnig and feels so clean afterwards and it doesnt cost much to add it on to your appointment. I highly reccommend this High Class Salon. It doesnt matter who cuts your hair. They are all wonderful.
