To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about going based on other reviews I read. My experience was outstanding! I went in to buy new frames and lenses, with my prescription from another optometrist. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me to choose the most flattering frames. The sales representative who helped me was Jessica, and she went above and beyond to help me. Although I was expecting to wait a few days, only four hours went by before I received a text message informing me that my new glasses were ready. I called to verify, but couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Since the automated message said the store was open until 8pm on Saturdays, I left my house just after 7pm to quickly pick them up. By the time I got there, the store was closed (as they actually close at 7pm on Saturdays). Jessica opened the doors for me, adjusted the angles of my new frames, and ensured the best quality for me. I am so grateful and definitely going back!

Exam process fine, needs to cater to more people. Great variety of frames and lenses. Too many nosy people in the area. Not interested in having my privacy violated. You really need to have standards that people respect. Please actually reprimand others for spying, instead of enjoying too much business and advertising by using others.

Dont buy Ray-Ban or Oakley frames here! They refuse to do any work on or help with replacement parts. You have to go on-line and try to order the parts you are guessing you need from a very user unfriendly website at exorbitant prices plus shipping! On further searches the huge conglomerate Luxottica owns these brands as well as LensCrafters itself. Terrible customer service. I would suggest shopping at a locally owned shop.

Ive always felt confident with the doctors at this location and feel theyve looked after me well medically. Customer service always has been and continues to be sub-par. I go in once a year, and just resolve myself to the fact that something is going to go wrong.There is always an excuse for why glasses are not ready on time, why they cant locate all of the pairs theyre supposed to be working on, the left hand does not ever seem to know what the right hand is doing. And they are not interested in hearing what you have to say. Given the length of time this has been going on, unfortunately, I dont ever see it changing.

Took my son in for new lens. $400.00 later were told they dont take my insurance. I went ahead and got the lens and had the put in his frames. Two weeks later his frames broke. I went in to get new frames and was told they could not help me. Worst customer service ever. I went to a different place and they were more then happy to help but didnt have anything we liked. I will not recommend this place. Dont care and wont even help. I would give them a 0 if I could

Literary on the phone with these guys just to get a new guy to ask me if I had been helped? Waste of time, poor customer service.

Ive been going here and getting glasses for years with no problems at all. They have always been nice and helpful. If people want better service I would suggest going somewhere that is not a chain.You will pay more but will have better service, maybe.

I had an apt on my lunch hour. After waiting 15 minutes past my apt time I asked at the front desk and was told they were running behind. I asked how many doctors were seeing patients, just one. I had seen that doctor just take another patient which meant I would be waiting another 30 minutes. I asked why didnt they call me or tell me at check in they were running late to give me an option to reschedule and the gal said she had no control she just worked for Lens Crafters....uh, what? She offered to reschedule me to the following week, no apology and as if no big deal. I left and called to speak with the manager. The assistant mgr answered, I went through the whole process with him and his solution was to have the store manager call me....so I could waste more time.....Dont you people get it? I had an appointment for a reason. You wouldnt wait for me if I were 10+ minutes late. Too many other choices to put up with this. Bye...

Can I give 0 stars? I went there thinking they accepted my insurance, but they did not (thats fine!). I ended up not going to the appointment I scheduled because I found an in-network optometrist instead. I found out later that they billed my insurance (which only allows one eye exam a year) without my consent and without any services being provided. After another 30 minutes waiting on hold, I found out they billed my insurance for someone elses eye exam and that it would take 4-6 weeks for my insurance claim to clear up.I told them that since this was their mistake, they would have to call my insurance and tell them what happened to clear things up. They refused.Now I am unable to get an appointment with someone else until next year because of their absolute incompetence.Ive never dealt with such a shady business before. These employees, especially Nick and Marisol, are absolutely useless. Find a real optometrist office- dont go here.

My old glasses (not LensCrafters) broke and I had to get new glasses for business trip. Yesterday, I called for an appointment and they got me in right away. I hadnt had an exam for a while, so I had an eye exam and then purchased new progressive lenses and frames. Everybody was wonderful. The sales person, Mena, took me through the preliminary eye exam, and then I was passed off to the optometrist. Every step was thoughtfully explained, and it was the best, and most comprehensive I exam I have had in the 55 years I have been wearing glasses. All of the eye testing equipment is up-to-date. Then, Mena shopped with me for more than 30 minutes helping me to pick just the right frames. I tried on at least a dozen pair of frames. Because I got started late in the day, I went back today and picked up my new glasses today. They are perfect, absolutely perfect. I will recommend LensCrafters to everyone, including you.

Bad customer service walked in the week prior and scheduled an apt for the coming Monday. I come in on time for what I was told my apt, upon arriving was told apt not for a few weeks. So ok a mistake was made but they don’t have availability to fit me in even after being told I live an hour away. Not only will I refuse to come back they have now also lost my spouses business. Support local eye businesses skip this place!

After my eye exam, I was told they didnt take my insurance. I had to pay out of pocket. Also, because they did not take my insurance, they knew I was not buying glasses there, so they couldnt get me out of the store quickly enough.With my new (paid for out of pocket) prescription, I asked them for the distance between my pupils, so I could buy glasses elsewhere. The first lie was Well thats different for every frame. Really? My face changes depending on the frame? When I suggested this, the second lie was Its illegal for me to give you that measurement.At this point I just had to walk out.

WOW!!! What a great team!!!! The manager, Barbara, really knows how to make you feel special!! Her honesty in choosing glasses really lets you know its not about making a sell, but rather making sure your happy with what you get. I dont think Ive ever been given such personal service. While putting everything in the computer other customers came up to her thanking her. She would apologize but when someone makes a difference why wouldnt you want to thank them? Everyone was so nice. I will go back....

I followed my optometrist to Eye Exam 2000 because he is smart, attentive and just a great doctor. But I have never had a great experience with Lens Crafters. After the last nightmare at the mall, I will never use them again.I made an appointment for both glasses and contacts. I had to wait an hour after my appointment time. I ordered the glasses and that went fine, even though they tag on so many extra fees and charges, that the list price is less than half the amount the check was written for. I was never told that I would have to follow up with a second appointment for the contacts. Dr. M. gave me a few different contact brands to try out. I called up later to order the contacts that I liked, and I was told I couldnt do it. I had to make another appointment and come in. I asked why. I was told thats how it is. They absolutely refused to give me an answer, so when I asked to speak with her supervisor, she hung up on me. When I called back, the next person hung up on me again. I tried a week later to get a different person, but he was rude and hung up on me as well. Apparently, they dont like customers who ask questions. It was months before I was able to get an answer and make an appointment. I was finally told that the optometrist needed to examine my eyes with the lenses on. I asked him, Dont you think thats important information to have? If you hadnt just told me that, Id have shown up without the contact lenses. By then, the lenses had deteriorated and the exam was a complete waste of time anyway. I spent a lot of money ordering lenses that are totally unwearable. They make me feel cross eyed and I cant see a thing through them. I see better without them on.Furthermore, I showed up 15 minutes early and was not seen until an hour after the appt. time. I got up repeatedly to remind the staff people that I was still waiting, but no one actually told the doc I was waiting. He was not busy with another patient, and I could have been seen when I showed up, but they just couldnt be bothered to do their job and let him know I had arrived.I still like Dr. M, but Im looking for a new optometrist.

Today I had a HORRIBLE experience at Lens Crafters. For ten years I have gotten my glasses/contacts there, today I showed up a few minutes late and they cancelled my appointment. I told the lady working there I showed up late because I live two hours away from Santa Rosa. After today I will never return to Lens Crafters for the bad service. Everytime I show up on time and have to wait almost TWO hours for service. I would not recommend Lens Crafters.

I would give them zero stars if I could.I chose lenscrafters/eye exams of california for my eye exam and contact lens eval because they offer a competitive price. My first trip in was fine; I liked the doctor and the girls in the front were friendly and timely. I was told that the trial contact lenses would arrive in store in about 2 weeks.I waited 2 weeks and called to follow up. The girl told me they were not in yet and they will call when they are. After waiting another 2 weeks, I called again. They told me oops, it looks like they havent been ordered yet. I will do it now and we will call in 2 weeks to let you know we received them.Everyone makes mistakes, so I remained patient and picked up my lenses when they were ready, six weeks after the initial exam. I tried on both sets of lenses and it was clear that my prescription was incorrect, so I called back and they told me to make an appt and come in wearing the contacts so the dr can check them. I did, another week later, and the doctor confirmed that the prescription was wrong.Since I drive 1.5 hours to get to lenscrafters, she offered to have the new trial lenses mailed out to my house. 2 weeks later I got a call from lenscrafters wanting to confirm my address to ship my lenses out. I did so, and was told I would receive them in 2 business days.Five business days later, I am forced to order more of my old contacts because the pair I had in was now 4 months old (I figured a month and a half max was long enough to plan get a new set) and am now out $100 I shouldnt have even had to spend on more contacts to hold me over til lenscrafters gets it together.I called them to ask for a tracking number five days after i was told theyd ship since I havent yet received the lenses. SHE TOLD ME THEY WERE NEVER MAILED OUT.I patiently explained all of what I just wrote here, and the girl told me all my problems were not her responsibility, they were the doctors, and therefore, there is nothing she can do for me except mail my lenses. I said, the doctor left a note saying to mail my lenses, which you just told me you saw, AND one of your girls called to tell me they were in the mail. Im not understanding how thats the doctors problem not yours. She told me Id have to call on one of the two days the doctor is there and ask the doctor that question.I said, forget it, dont mail the lenses. Ill drive 1.5 hours today to pick them up since I cant trust you guys will do anything right. She said ok and offered me 20% off my contact order with them. As if I even want to have any more contact with them. Ill order them online, pay more to go to a REAL optometrists office, and avoid all of this establishments bs from now on.I have never in my life experienced such horrible customer service, lack of organization and attention, and blatant refusal to take responsibility for what clearly is their wrongdoing. The only thing I can do now is warn others and never again give them my business.

First time going to lens crafters at the beginning of this week. The reason I chose lens crafters was to have them before the weekend for an event and I had no glasses so the manager and an employee said they couldnt get in done in an hour because of my prescription and I totally understood that completely so they have me a promise of three days and worst case four and that timeline worked out fine. With this timeline promised they have me a guarantee of a text when they were ready and with that I paid and left after an hour of fitting. Today being Friday I did not receive a text or a call or any notification so I went to the store where I was told they were not in and wouldnt for another week and that I should have been told Id be waiting longer. The employees aparently lost my information and couldnt find them so they told me that as a filibuster to get me to leave. So after half an hour the manager came out to tell me that my lenses are in but the frames were not so it was no good to me. I told them I wanted a refund if they couldnt deliver on my order and with that they said they found my frames but in a different color and if I would temporarily use them and I agreed. I was told just to get those ready would be ten minutes so fourty minutes later theyre finally ready and they gave me the cheapest feeling crappy frames imaginable which I cant use because of uncomfortability but they cant do anything in the store all the meanwhile theyre switching employees on me to a total of four different people. After all this wasting my time and being four hundred dollars in the hole I leave the store. Minutes after leaving I got a slap in the face text telling me lens crafters has finished my glasses and are happy to have me arrive when Im ready. First and last time shopping at lens crafters they got my money and screwed me. Four hundred dollars for crap product and service what is this business good for?

Went in to get an adjustment and they scratched my lense. Lense Cafters is not responsible for any damages. Glasses cost me over $300, and I had them for less than 24 hours before Lense Crafters damaged them.Also, it looks like the manager avoids hiring males. All employees, including the manager, are female with the exception of one male who exhibits primarily feminine qualities. Seems like an intentional hiring practice to me.Sexism works both ways.

Went in to get glasses because most mine had broke. My prescription had expired so they were unable to make me a new pair. The Manager told me the book was full, but if I didnt mind waiting a bit she would see if she could get me in. I spent time looking at new glasses and then a short time later she came up to me and said that they would be able to see me today. I filled out the paper work and was seen by the doctor and had new glasses that I absolutely love!!!!! This store is ran by a professional who really puts the customer first and wants to make sure we are taken care of. She wasnt trying to get me to add a bunch of stuff just what I needed as well as what I wanted. Very knowledgeable and informative. Without hesitation I would go back.

Just awful service. Arguing with each other in front of me. Wrong contacts were given, and this is after I had to call 6 times to order them because I kept getting either hung up on or put on hold for 5+ minutes with no follow up. I would avoid at all costs, and will never order from this store again.
