As a new, walk-in customer, I was greeted most professionally and courteously. When I asked questions and made requests, I received good, full replies. The shop has a good range of quality, mid and high-end frames from which to choose and which are not the usual brands or models that you usually see elsewhere. The eye exam that I received appeared to be on or near the cutting edge in terms of equipment used and technical and medical expertise applied, resulting in a detailed, clearly explained diagnosis. In the end, I have ordered a pair of super cool and original presription glasses from Sonoma Eyeworks. Neither their services nor their products are cheap, but you do get what you pay for here: top quality advice and solutions :-)

I have a new prescription for glasses and thought I’d pop by to view the current trends in Woman’s eyewear. I purchased my last pair of Italian sunglasses there. The arrogance and rude service from Ms LV mask was beyond what I would tolerate.I left after 15 minutes. I have plenty to say, but she’s not worth the energy! Thank you Costco (my 2nd store) for outstanding customer service, a spectacular selection of specs. My new glasses ready in about a week. I’ll never step foot in Sonoma Eyeworks again!

In my line of work, I frequently encounter and support families experiencing hardship, so Im sensitive to unhelpful people with attitudes of entitlement, who dont seem to live in the/my real world. I have experienced this office to have a hoity toity, cant do/wont do attitude. When I recently bought some glasses here, I didnt like the phony feeling I got from the staff but I was already there so got a much needed pair of glasses, for $500 out-of-pocket not including what insurance covered. This morning, I was excited to the see both front doors WIDE open a few minutes before 9am. All I needed was my prescription lenses swapped back into my sunglasses, a process that literally took 20 seconds when they did it during my recent appointment trying/buying other glasses. Two staff members were just wandering around inside the open doors and the woman immediately walked up when I approached. I explained what I was hoping for and before I could even finish, she said they werent open for another 15 minutes, until 9:15. I knew immediately that she wasnt going to accommodate me so I started walking away. I think she sensed my disgust at her instant refusal of such a simple request (without even considering it, as she refused before I could finish talking). She said, again, at the doors that were WIDE open, Were not even open. I continued walking and she asked if I had an appointment so I said, No, I just thought you might be able to swap my lenses out real quick. At work and in life, I am a helpful, accommodating person. I know were still dealing with a pandemic and they have to be strict about appointments etc. But this felt different to me and I dont suspect this staff flexes much in regular times either. I prefer a down-to-Earth feel from a business and that doesnt seem to exist here. When I got my glasses, I noticed how much jewelry everyone wears; theyre all glistening from head to toe. This jives with plenty of people but not me and I was offended at my interaction this morning. I wont be spending more money there. They have a good selection of glasses but who doesnt?

I can in here at the recommendation of a coworker, and Ive had great experiences since. Their staff was very friendly and patient while selecting glasses. Great knowledge on frames and quality. Try helped fit the glasses extremely well on my face, which isnt easy. Ive come back for a few fixes and refills of the lense fluid with continued great service. Ill be sure to buy my next glasses here as well.

I had an appointment scheduled at Sonoma Eyeworks. I walked in and wasnt greeted or acknowledged at all, waited 10 minutes for someone to help me... proceeded to wait even longer after all the paperwork was done. Had to flag a staff member down to help us then she proceeded to tell us that it was going to be 50 to 150 dollars after insurance to have the contacts fitted, not counting the actual contacts and exam price. We asked what that 100 dollar price difference depended on and she told us she didnt know. We asked her to ask the doctor what the price depended on then waited another 15 minutes AFTER she had already asked the doctor to get an answer while she helped another customer that came after us when she could have just told us the answer real quick . Then proceeded to tell us that my appointment had moved because there was a patient with an object in their eye that had to be serviced right away..... (No one had come it with such an aliment from what we saw). The service was not good and they didnt seem to be very obliging or forthcoming when it came to financial issues. Needless to say we left after being there for an hour without an exam or the quality service that they advertise. They only apologized when we were leaving.

My wife and daughter both frequent Sonoma Eyeworks for all their eyewear needs so I guess were regular customers at this point. Peter is the best! Hes very patient, professional and knowledgeable on all eyewear details. My daughter got her first pair of glasses at 3 months old and Peter walked us through the process from start to finish. We felt in good hands with their entire team. Reasonable prices and quick turnaround time for the finished sets. Would highly recommend this establishment!

I purchased glasses late in 2016. I enjoyed my experience with the friendly professionals at Sonoma Eyeworks.The frame I purchased cracked a few months later. I went back thinking I would have to buy a new frame. But much to my surprise Sonoma Eyeworks said my frame might be replaced for no cost. Two days later my new frame was ready. The lens were installed on the new frame in minutes and I was on my way.I am a very satisfied client. Not only will I be back I highly recommend Sonoma Eyeworks.
