My experience at Mercedes Benz of Sarasota is so positive that I think some people would wish their Mercedes would need a repair. My first maintenance was done in a record time 2 hours earlier than expected by me. I think about Formula 1 mechanics changing tires when I try to describe my experience there. Wow! No wonder I bought my wifes Mercedes E300 and my Porsche 911 Carrera at this dealership. I strongly recommend this dealership to everybody. Congratulations to the management and staff. I want to start this out by saying that TAYLOR was WONDERFUL. She was as helpful as she could possibly be, was in constant contact with updates on my vehicle, and was a complete professional.Everything else, however...It took two weeks to service my car for a job that would have taken my regular service garage a couple of days. I know this because I took it to them first, where they diagnosed the problem. The only reason I even brought it to Mercedes is because the issues were still covered under my extended warranty vs paying $800 for my regular garage to take care of it. Then Mercedes didnt have any of their own cars to loan me, so they set me up with a free rental car from Enterprise. The cost of the daily damage waiver for the length of time I had to use the Enterprise vehicle amounted to nearly $800 anyway. And Mercedes feels no responsibility to reimburse this, because the damage waiver is optional. You would think a dealership that prides itself on luxury for its clients would ensure EVERYTHING was covered.Additionally, they undervalued my car for their in house appraisal. I took it to two other appraisers and received a value of several thousand more.And then, after all of that, I finally got my car back and something is wrong with the gear shifts. So Im going to have to bring it back and likely wait another two weeks for service, so then I can write another one star review.

Always enjoy excellent customer service at this location. It is very easy to schedule service when I need to. Of course nothing is cheap here, but they are always very up front about costs, and do a great job of communicating what the issues are with the car, and what each one will cost. They are not pushy about getting the work done, either. Overall a great experience!

Ive called several times and have been getting the run around trying to get the money for my extended warranty refunded. I sold my vehicle before the extended warranty kicked in so I was told I was due a refund. Im not sure why there is a problem or delay with this matter. Keep this in mind if you decide to purchase extended warranties. They will tell you they are refundable but you will spend a long time getting your refund. My car was sold in August and the note was paid off in early September and now we are in October and crickets....issue resolved, thanks!
The service was great. 2019 S Class B service. The problem is that when I got my car back my settings on the dash are changed some disappeared.. Before I got into my car I asked are my settings where I had them,answer yes.Well I start to leave the dealership and here we go again. First my digital speed is somewhere but not where I want it. Next no radio or media, Back to the dealership, oh all you have to do is and they try to bring up my media, well its shut off. Anyway after a few minutes they got everything back. Bottom line when the car is returned to me I want it back like gave it to them. This not the first time. I dont want to be driving up 75 trying to bring things back to where they were.Other then that things where good.
I ask a very simple question,3 days ago before my oil change appointment.to this young lady in the front desk cross to the coffee machine.How much a oil change for my 450 gl.The answer is 69$.with no explanation.Here we go, on the day of my appointment,after work done, was 194,88$It is why you can trust a car dealership.I hope someone from the dealership will call me or text me.

Go to a different Mercedes dealership. If I could give negative stars, I would. I knew this dealership had a reputation, but WOW. I ordered a vehicle and it was submitted incorrectly. Car shows up, its WRONG. So I have to submit ANOTHER order. Now the semi conductor shortage. Over ELEVEN MONTHS go by. Car supposedly finishes, then gets blocked from shipment and nobody knows why. Nobody wants to find out why. Customer service is awful. You are made to feel like Mercedes does you a favor by allowing you to buy one of their vehicles. Car finally arrives and I get the classic LOW BALL trade in offers. I ask for better offers and am then told that they will release MY VEHICLE to general sale because OTHER SALESMEN HAVE DEPOSITS DOWN ON MY CAR!!! I am livid. We have been longtime customers here, its always been awful service, will not be coming back. Will drive to different dealers going forward.

This was my first purchase of a Mercedes-Benz and the experience was amazing. Our sales person Bill was very professional and helped us enormously with the decision of which model was the best fit for our family. There was never any pressure to buy or lease. Bill answered all our questions. After 3 visits and multiple test drives, we decided to lease an A Class model. Bill spent over an hour with my son going over all of the features in the car and helping him set up all the communications. Many thanks also to Jason in financing for all his help and very informative answers to my questions. A truly wonderful overall experience. I was very disappointed in my overall experience. I had to get some recalls completed on my car. I scheduled in advance and then found out the day before that one of the parts needed was not ordered in and I decided to reschedule. After I get my car there, late in the day they said oh one of the recall parts was not ordered and they would have to keep my car till the next week. I was also told my tires were splitting where I would not be able to see them and it was unsafe to drive my car. They said I needed 4 new tires that would only cost $1800. I declined and had them checked elsewhere and was told I had an easy 5000 miles before needing tires no splitting. I did ask to have the convertible check to see if an adjustment was needed and they said they would have to take it all apart and it would be 10 hour job. But still charged me $115 to look at it and tell me it would take more time. I picked up my car and was told it had been in the car wash but there were spots all over the car and she said yeah we have a bad drive through car wash. I then noticed 2 spots on my cream leather seat and door on the passenger side. I showed her, Judy, I went to touch them and they were wet ink marks that smeared. She did find a rag and some kind of spray and wiped them off luckily. I asked what kind of spray so I would know and she I Dont know. Odd with it in her hand. I get in my car to drive away and the seat is so far back and down like someone was riding like low rider and even my steering wheel was so low. I wasnt happy but didnt think too much until I turned my radio on and it was blaring loud rap music from a channel that I didnt know existed. I did call the customer service manager and left a message to let them know and no one has returned my call. This is definitely not a corporate Mercedes Benz dealership!!!
This was exceptional service. I drove an extra 50 miles just to witness the service. Which was recommended by a friend. Recently completed my Mercedes GLE 350 service and as usual had a very good experience with my service supervisor, Brett, who was able to answer my questions and facilitate the necessary service. I am pleased with his communication as to the progress of the service and when it is completed and ready for pick up.In my experience, all the staff are friendly and helpful, whether I am waiting in the spacious waiting room for a shorter service to be completed or using a loaner vehicle for a bigger service.

Our advisor Shawn Barnett communicated efficiently and thoroughly. Our Benz needed B service plus a few other things. Work was completed within 24hrs Only drawback was once we drove the car out of the dealership, the tire light came on. Tire air pressure wasn’t checked or filled to recommend levels. Overall was a pleasant experience.

My experience started out very bad but had a good ending. I bought tires from Mercedes on line and was provided a 2:00 appointment for installation. When I arrived the Service Department had no record of this appointmentTo say the least I was very unhappy. Lisa stepped up to the plate and took control. She called parts to she if she could find the tires. She did and was able to squeeze me in for installation the next day. She also obtained a loaner car for me. Excellent customer service
This is the second time I used Mercedes of Sarasota Brett is always kind and helpful and informative. Because I have a conversion van they were unable to fix the belt issue I was having. They did make every effort to, though. And when they couldn’t, they didn’t charge me for the time but referred me to an RV place that could help me.
Parker was very patient in helping my son buy his first car. He even personally followed up after the purchase, arranged for some minor issues to be fixed and made the whole process stress free. We will definitely think of Parker for our next car buying experience.

Brought my car in for final prepaid maintenance series and display saying Collision Assist disabled. Randi, my advisor, had a loaner vehicle lined up for me as always so I could work. Charged me twice for a service I already paid for. You would think they would let you know that you had an expiration date on a SERVICE you already pre paid for. Maybe its in the fine print but come on. $500 down the drain.

Judy and everyone were great. But I have a suggestion. My 2009 CLK is in great shape overall and I love it but it needs new hydraulic lifters (2) for the convertible top. MB only offers new replacements which means that it would cost me $8K to fix my car with a book value of about $10K...The forced me to go to a secondary market repair shop and get rebuilt lifters for for about $2500..Sarasota MB should offer that option for older cars.

I took my car in for scheduled maintenance on 9 June. Judy, the service advisor was prepared with the paperwork for the maintenance. I left the car and went home. A short while later Judy called to tell me about the battery needing to be replaced and explain why the drivers seat would not fully position itself upright. I gave permission for the additional work and in the early afternoon I was called to notify me that the work was completed and the car was ready to be picked up. A short time later I arrived back at the dealership and picked up the car with little time involved. The work was done in a timely manner and I was highly satisfied with the workmanship.
There was an ongoing warranty issue with our tire speed sensors on our Sprinter Van chassis. Once we were notified by Mercedes that there was a fix for it, Sarasota Mercedes got us in for a service appointment right away and the situation resolved within two hours. Thanks Shawn!

For what I pay for MB Service the results should be perfect it’s not, why would I have to reset the display or take a the fob apart & readjust the batteries it’s because no one checked to see if the work was done properly, that’s the last MB service that I will pay for, my next auto will be electric and not from MB

I am very disappointed with the service I received yesterday from Steven. Steven is rude, condescending, and not a pleasant person to work with. I have overlooked his attitude many times but yesterday was the worst. Steven should not be allowed to work directly with the public. He shows no respect to his customer. I would like to work with another service representative in the future. I no longer want to deal with Steven.
Brett was great to work with. We arrived for our service visit. Brett was prepared and got us out the door with our loaner GLC 300 which was great for a test drive. Our vehicle was repaired promptly and checking out was as easy as checking in. Great service and job well done.

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Sarasota FL MB. I have owned MBs for 15 years and currently own an E350 and a C300.Recently after moving to FL, I noticed that the A/C on the E350 was exhausting hot air on the passenger side (which MBs do when the coolant needs recharging). I made an appointment, my first, at Sarasota MB for the service to be performed on 9/15/21. Recharging the A/C cost about $700 (obscene in and of itself).When I picked up the car and started driving home, I noticed that the passenger side vents were in the same off position and still directed outboard / to the right just as I had left them. When I turned the vents on and inwards, they were still still exhausting hot air.When I returned the car, the technician claimed that he had tested the passenger side and then turned the vents back to right and off because he wanted to return car just as he had received it. Come on man! Who would believe that? Then why weren’t they working? He didn’t QA his work and wasted time checking windshield wipers and making others suggestions not relevant to the issue.The problem was corrected. It was explained as a “calibration” that hadn’t place . (Then how did it work when the technician tested it ?).I have never had anything other than spectacular experiences at other MB dealership until Sarasota MB. I would caution anyone reading this to beware purchasing or servicing their vehicle at Sarasota FL MB.
We loved working with Tony. He was very patient and helped us with several different vehicles looking for the best deal for us. He was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. It was a real pleasure working with Tony and his team. Even the finance department was a pleasure to work with. We also went though an in-depth training of the vehicle with John who was amazing! Took my E300 for Service B and there was no issue at all with my car. After the service was done and the car handed over to me, when I turn on airconditioned while I drove away from the dealership, I heard really bad noise coming from the air blower. Took the car back to the dealership and they look at the issue and told me that motor need to be replaced and my car is still under warranty, it will take more than 2 weeks to get a new motor.How come the car was not fully checked before handed to me? Is this a normal process to just change the oil and do some other maintenance and charge $600? This is ridiculous and someone from the management team should look into their service department to make sure the technicians are fully trained to check everything before handover the cars to the customers.Shahid

3 stars for fixing my car the third time. THIRD TIME. Why did it take so long? The third time I had to get towed I was on a left lane, on the highway going 8o miles/hour… with two other people in the car! Does it really take 3 people to dye for Mercedes to fix it? Engine mechanical problems have to be solved on the first try! Dear Mercedes you have insurance problems! This is a brand new car I have. I’m sorry. My next car will be CADILLAK. No more Mercedes known as a most towed car!
A totally pleasant experience from our first contact with MB of Sarasota that continues today. Our salesperson was top notch, and only by shopping around at other high end dealerships could we appreciate his expertise - knowledge of the product, the ability to explain things, a willingness to work with us, and great follow up. Beyond that, Alan was professional and very personable as well. The staff and sales people are very nice and very knowledgeable it was my first MB purchase and most definitely will not be my last.

Great customer service. Brought my MB Sprinter motor home in for an oil change. While I originally was going to drop it off, I asked if I could wait. Judy, said that I could but it might be a while because the shop was backed up. I went to the waiting lounge and sat down for what I thought would be at least two to three hours. To my surprise, Judy called me back to her desk with in one hour. The motor home was done and waiting for me. I live about an hour south of the shop, but because of the quality and efficiency of the employees as well as the knowledge that what ever is completed on the chassis section of the motor home, will be done by certified and experienced mechanical technicians. I choose to have my mechanical work completed on the chassis here.

2 for 2 on selling junk cars.I purchased two, not one, but two pre-owned S-Classes from MB of Sarasota over the past 5 years. Both times, without fail, the car wouldnt start after only 2 months of ownership. The first time it happened the dealership worked with me and gave me a new battery, that of course died after a few days because the issue was the alternator - which they wouldnt fix. I just recently spend 50k on an S-Class that came with an Autonation Certified Warranty, which is 90 days or 4k miles, and less than 90 days, and much less than 4k miles, the car has been at the dealerships shop twice. First the parking brake failed and second, the car now will not start.This is literally the worst dealership Ive dealt with. Every single time I go in with any issue (we have 2 G-Classes as well as the S-Class) their solution to an issue is to buy a new one versus fixing the actual problem.Im only one single person, but the fact that virtually the same issue has happened across multiple cars suggests that its likely a commonly occurring problem with the dealership itself.
MB of Sarasota was a lot quicker for my B maintenance than I expected. Price was reasonable also.
I arrived for my 2:00PM appointment early; as I was already in the area at 1:05PM. I asked my service person Shawn if I could possibly get in earlier. He said he would see what he could do. In stead of saying to e Im afraid I cant bump you up sooner, it will still have to be at 2:00 he just took the car. About 40 min later I went to check and I still see my car sitting there. they ultimately took it around 2:00; however if Shawn had been honest with me and said I dont think I can get you in sooner, I would have done some errands and come back at the designated time. Instead I ended up sitting there for almost 2 hours. Im not a very happy camper.

Service visit was for a recall notice. Time was selected for my convenience and a fully gassed up loaner waiting for me. Recall issue was corrected along with a minor warranty issue. I was called and an optional adjustment was offered. Service was completed early afternoon and all the paperwork was ready to go . No fuss, no muss. Another very well-managed service by Assistant Service Manager, Judy Schweitzer.

We needed a new tire and Brett our service advisor was awesome! He took care of it and handled everything smoothly. Our wait was minimal, the dealership was very clean and very sanitary. There were masks there if you needed them, And every pen that you used was individually wrapped in plastic for sanitation. People were very helpful and attentive. I would not hesitate to take my car back to this dealership.
If you have an extended maintenance contract be aware that the automated scheduling program does not take the end date of that contract into account. My service was automatically scheduled for 2 weeks following its expiration, and I was charged for the expensive service. I protested to the service manager, and the charge was said to be removed. However, it was not. Getting it done required a long wait. POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS!

Checking in with Lisa was a pleasure. She was welcoming and friendly, but extraordinarily efficient and knowledgeable. The associate at the loaner desk was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The problems reported seem to be taken care off. Leaving my car on date of drop off and returning the loaner on date of pick up was not pleasant because of the two valets I had to deal with. The small matter of grease on the car seat was quickly and personally handled by the sales manager. If I could deal with the service department without having to endure interaction with the valets, I would give it another star.

Great experience took my car in for both airbag recalls and not only did they get me right in the gave me a rental car to drive, and got the work done the same day. When i got my car back it was washed and detailed. I couldnt have asked for a more positive experience my service advisor Mr. Ferrucci was awesome...
After an unexpected tire blow-out which was unsettling, my experience here was wonderful. Lisa is exceptional, the experience was professional, friendly, efficient, and relaxing. My bad day was turned around. George, on the sales team, was also great. I decided to check out the new Mercedes models while I was there. He was personable, professional, informative and no pressure. I was concerned going to this dealership, though its my only option in the area. An experience Id had in early 2020 wasnt positive. It was a disappointing visit. I expected a higher level of service from Mercedes. The staff acted like I was a burden just being there. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and stood in front of all the service representatives and was ignored. I started asking around before I was referred to the right person, as it was not who was emailed as my representative. After waiting for him to get off the phone, he was nice enough. I was passed off to the “loaner” guy who again acted as if he was doing me a big favor by helping me.When returning to pick up my car the experience was repeated. My representative was gone for the day. All the others ignored me. A pleasant service technician wandered by and could see I was being ignored and asked to help me. He proceeded to ask around for me. Ultimately getting the attention of one of the service reps who told me I needed to see the “partner” of my service rep who had left. As if I would know who that was. I was ultimately pointed to the correct person. He knew nothing about my car and the service that had been recommended. They didn’t have the parts anyway, so I retrieved my car. I was told the valet would get it. 15 minutes later I finally got my car. Apparently they hung the keys in the wrong spot.Very expensive, poor service.
Our service rep Giovanni was prompt, courteous, and very effective in assisting us with out repairs. A read speed sensor for our 2017 Winnebago View (2016 chassis) was covered under warranty. That was happy news. Our B service, coupled with transmission, service was very expensive, however, Giovanni helped a bit by finding coupons for us. I never imagined MB might have a coupon. All was done in a timely manner and the people we dealt with were friendly and professional. Well done MB Sarasota.
I was nicely reminded to make the appointment, the check in process was efficient, obtaining the loaner went fine. It was clear what needed to be completed on the car and one additional issue was found that needed to be addressed. I did have to call to get an update on completion, but the call was returned promptly so that was not a big deal. Nicely done!!
This dealership has the unfortunate distinction of having the most useless car appointment Ive ever experienced. I spoke with Scott to make an appointment the day before coming in. When we got to our appointment, our sales associate, Karrina, didnt know we were on her calendar. Therefore, she had nothing prepared for us when we walked in. I had told Scott on the phone the two models I was interested in, so I anticipated being given information about those two models.Our SA went to her manager to get the car keys of a model we didnt want, again because she had nothing prepared. She said that no vehicle is available for negotiation and that everything will be MSRP-priced. When we went outside, she didnt present us with much information about the car. Only that the car had a third-row seat, and it was fully loaded, but she didnt itemize or list any of the features. As a consumer, I dont know what that means, fully loaded changes depending on the manufacturer. A high-quality associate will give you a vehicle tour and explain the features, which our SA did not do.I would have liked to learn more about the models I was interested in, but overall our SA did a substandard job. Our visit time lasted ~5 mins, and the last thing she was was to play around online to build a vehicle and come back to her...so she can get a commission. She didnt ask us about our needs, lifestyle, or what features we were interested in. Our SA didnt exhibit what I expect out of a luxury car salesperson. She wasnt prepared for the appointment; her unrefined speaking manner and her lack of engagement toward us made the experience less than stellar. I felt it wasnt polite that she asked us our maximum dollar amount. Ive never experienced that. You wont know initially if someone will pay with cash or finance. Everything is negotiable if a dealership works out a good package.Coming from the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area, luxury dealership appointments present brochures, car information, and a sales pitch in hopes you spend more. From this appointment, I walked away with no knowledge about the car models I wanted. I didnt learn anything.

Frankly, I cannot think of any better place than Mercedes of Sarasota to have my vehicle serviced. The attention by staff and quality of care would be very hard to beat. I have always been very impressed, allowing me to leave with a vehicle that feels and drives like new! I highly recommend Mercedes of Sarasota.
We took 3 of our Mercedes to the Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota dealership for maintenance and repairs, and Lisa took incredible care of our cars. Our 2016 SL was in mint condition and required minor repairs with parts that were located overseas, so she and her manager (Jim) went out of their way to ensure that my car was well cared for throughout the process. I highly recommend this dealership!

Here is where I have a major issue. I arrived at the time for my appointment and pulled into the service lane. I was the only car in the lane and the only person sitting in their car. I sit there with the motor running for 11 minutes while 9 people behind the glass carried on with their business. Also there were two porters who walked by my car without saying a thing.I turned off my car and stood up by the car on the service drive. The same activities continued for another for another 6 minutes before one of the porters asked me if I had been helped.The people behind the glass would look up and then continue with what they were doing.

Service was fine. Ive used other Mercedes dealers and theres a certain White Glove treatment that was present here. Wait time on hold to reach a service representative is enough to make me not use them again. They made a mistake on a simple item that Ill need to have rectified, which means another 20 minutes on hold just to speak to a human.
Janine was a pleasure to work with! Made my purchase quick and easy, even with a baby in tow! Love the car, no haggle pricing and knew exactly what I was getting. My new Mercedes home is MB of Sarasota. And I will drive the hour to prove it.
