I bought my first hearing aids four years ago from Costco. Big mistake! If I had gone to Accurate Hearing instead, I would have been able to demo a full range of models to find the best one for me at the right price. I was able to make an appointment right away with Joel (no 3 week wait!) and, after evaluating my hearing deficit, he fitted me with some state of the art hearing aids to demo for the week. What a revelation! Music sounded full and rich again, not tinny and flat. I could watch TV without reading the closed captions. What a game changer! I went on to demo other hearing aids, still with no obligation to purchase, and Joel and Dustin patiently worked through every issue and answered every question. When I did purchase my new hearing aids, I knew for a fact that they were the right ones for me. And - if youre still inclined to shop Costco - know that the prices at Accurate Hearing meet or beat all of the competition. You cant go wrong here!

Joel and his son are the best there is. Most Honest and knowledgeable. I went to about five different places searching hearing aids prices until I found them. I drive 2 hours to see them. Worth it, believe me.

Great experience! I purchased my hearing aids a few years ago from Accurate. I had then and still have great service from them when I return for an annual check. They are professional and thorough. I would and have recommended them to my friends many times.They carry many brands which is very important because they can match your needs and budget. I think that I had many more options with them than I would have had with a one brand store.They are competitively priced and their service is top quality. Also important to me was that they had financing options.

I am a snow bird and was in need of hearing aid replacements. I visited four companies in the Sarasota area that provided hearing aid services; including testing and equipment to evaluate type of services, equipment selection and cost.Fortunately Accurate Hearing Center was on my list. Joel and Dustin were excellent. The customer service they provided was very professional and informative. They reviewed the various hearing aid manufacturers, the advantages/disadvantages of each product, the cost and their followup services.I selected the Rechargeable Resound LINX Quattro hearing aides. I am very pleased with the features, quality of sound, iphone compatibility, and the charger station and also the cost. Joel and his son Dustin did a fabulous job for my 85 year old father. We switched to them after 10+ years with another provider and it was very worthwhile. Dads been wearing in ear HAs for 20+ years, and Joel was able to find a new digital hearing aid much like his old one. I especially liked the sales cycle, it was about what Dad needed, not about working down from the most expensive hearing aid to find one we could afford. Weve had follow up appointments to make sure all is well and the addition of digital to our choices has been fabulous. Hes able to hear better in small and group settings, able to hear the TV and weve yet to try out the loop technology, but plan to soon. I would highly recommend Accurate Hearing to anyone in Sarasota!

I was looking to replace my 10 year old Oticon hearing aids and found Accurate Hearing / Joel Gann via a Google search. The reviews were positive and the pricing very competitive so I scheduled an appointment. I received THE most thorough hearing test in 15 years, great customer care and attention, and very clear explanation of my choices...without any pressure to buy. Ive had my new hearing aids (also Oticon) for 6 weeks and am very pleased with them and the follow-up checkups given by Joel and his son, Dustin. Highly recommended.

I had an appointment with Accurate Hearing last Monday July 31st.When I arrived I didnt even have to wait to be administered a hearing test.After a few preliminaries I was given the hearing test.The test was very thorough.I appreciate the professionalism of the owner Joel.He took his time and was very patient with me regarding all the questions I had asked.Joel also took the time to explain the options of the type of hearing aids available to me and the functionality of them.I would highly recommend Accurate Hearing for anyones hearing concerns.

I am 57years old and finally decided to get help w/ my hearing. After much online research I went and had my hearing tested. The hearing aids recommended for me were the Phonak Q90 @ $5800 dollars for the pair. After coming home I found an online company that was very helpful and the price was down to $5400. Upon further searching I found an ad for the same hearing aids for $1999 each. I figured this was some kind of internet company that just sent the aids and you are on your own. I was 100% wrong. Accurate is a very professional business run by a gentleman named Joel and he is who you deal with through the whole procedure. He tested my hearing (again even though I told him I had just been through it) and the graph looked the same as the previous test. I was given demo aids to wear over the weekend and my aids came in on Tuesday with all the same warranties (30 day full refund, the online company was 45 days) and Joel started me at 70%. 2 weeks later I am up to 90% and have nothing but praise for the product and the care I have received from Joel. Very satisfied overall and the main point here is I saved $1400 dollars! I highly recommend Joel and Accurate Hearing.

We had done a great deal of research to purchase hearing aids for my husband for the first time! We had been to 3 businesses that sell aids and had 3 hearing tests and also to a private audiologist. Also learned the top 6 aids on the market and all of their most current models. We had decided on the OTICON OPN1. We had actually put a deposit down to order with another hearing sales business. THE NEXT day we saw Accurate Hearing Care ad in newspaper! OMG the exact SAME aid from OTICON was $2300 less for the pair!!!! Immediately we call, had appointment in a couple days and learned what a wonderful choice we had made to call them!! All of the same warranties, service, etc that was offered everywhere else. They are so professional and accommodating and even gave my husband a pair of the same aids( programmed per his hearing test) to wear for a week to see IF they would really work well for him! IF you DON’T go to Accurate Hearing Care before buying an aid you are making a HUGH mistake! We are most pleased and our wallet is soooo happy we found them🤗

“If it sounds too good to be true – it probably is.” In the case of Accurate Hearing it is true! They are the only local hearing aid company to publish their prices and I saved about $2,000 on my Starkey Halo 110’s.My husband was diagnosed with moderate to severe hearing loss by my ENT Specialist, who gave him a thorough hearing test and quoted him a price for the hearing aids that suited his hearing loss. He decided to shop around and went to another local hearing aid company and got a similar quote. He researched the internet and found Accurate Hearing was quoting considerably less. He was very skeptical, but after asking Joel a few questions He made an appointment. He received a similar hearing test to the other two places and was promised the same customer service. He was able to upgrade the aids He wanted and finished up saving about $2,000 on the prices quoted by the other two places. When he made his decision Joel had the aids shipped to him overnight so he got them the next day.After the hearing test Joel programmed his new aids to suit his hearing loss, but set them on low volume, because when you are new to wearing them the volume that is required to give you optimum hearing is way too loud until you get used to them. So he has to keep going back to have them adjusted and after four weekly visits he is still not there yet. After he had the aids a few days he had trouble with one of them beeping. He went back to Joel and he called Starkey and after he described the problem they said the best thing would be to send me a new pair overnight, so he got new ones the next day. Great service and no problem since.The Halo range can be paired to his I phone with Bluetooth, so he can adjust the volume easily if he needs to – plus calls are sent to his hearing aids, so he has no problem hearing on the phone. Also he plays his music directly through his hearing aids and Joel helped him through all that. The noise cancelling is very impressive – if he uses the vacuum cleaner, for instance, he can hear the sound reduce after a couple of seconds. Other times he notices a reduction in traffic noise and even flushing the toilet. He has a three year warranty and if he loses or damages them during that time they will replace each one once at a 20% cost to him. Also, Joel only charges 25c each for batteries – way cheaper than the other suppliers.We would recommend Accurate Hearing to anybody – particularly for price, but also for service.
