I wish I had more time to spend at Ikea and take a closer look at everything they have. I always run out of time because they have everything I would like to see, but then I would stay there for 3 days! I cant say their products are the best quality, but they have a large selection of everything and affordable prices. i had a couple of their stuff and im not complaining. Will keep shopping here.

First and only complain. I got lost on each level at least 4 times.What a great designed, functionality and practically of the products that are sold here.Came for some under cabinet lights, stayed for the food. Veggie patties with the mashed potatoes are great.

Great place to get stuff for you house and have a quick lunch. The prices are good and it fun to shop in. This place is different than others in that you have to bring the car to pick up suck you buy. Baskets are not allowed in the parking area.

Its IKEA. If you dont know about it you just have to go. Its furniture and home decor, but nothing like any of the other stores.Cafeteria on the top floor has the cheapest food around, and its delicious.They recently reorganized the queue system for the registers and it flows super well now. Its like one big line and they wave you to open registers, so you never get unlucky and caught behind that person at the register.

Huge store! Everything needed for different rooms of your home. The store was clean and sanitary! Went on a Saturday and had to wait awhile at checkout but I believe considering the situation now it was understandable. I think they deserve 10 stars! Clean neat and just a fun experience to visitAlso they Swedish foods! Chocolate, wine,sweets and sheepish meatballs..

Great experience! Had a quick order exchange + a new order pickup. Employees were great, and the use of kiosks (in store) and the website check in process (for pickup) were seamless.

What can be said that hasnt already? Excellent customer service, as usual. Generally clean, which is impressive considering the number of people in the store at any given time. Supply chain issues prevented us from making the purchase we wanted to, but that was somewhat expected as thats how it is everywhere so I really cant complain. Well be back when inventory has been replenished. Thanks!!

Partially my fault. I should have checked online first.Most of the item areas on main floor are empty.Only stuffed toys and smaller items available. Very scarce. I was also told Bolingbrook has less! So how much less could there be? Long drive to Schaumburg for a pack of oatmeal cookies and a bottle of water. Used to be a good place.Now the only furniture available is the one on display and you cant buy that one. Oh well Ikea is not alone. I went to several furniture stores and there just isnt much to choose from. I guess Ill blame it on Covid. None of picture items were available.

Never again! These i...ots created an hour long queu to checkout and maintain it all the time. No social distancing at all. Masks are not enforced.If trying to shop online instead, the checkout does not work, but got stuck on the shipping/billing address page with no errors indicated. They dont need customers, so go elswhere.

Amazing styles and cool layouts. Great ideas for a new style or upgrades. They have everything from real plants, light fixtures to bed frames. All the employees are helpful and polite. Reasonable prices from all ranges.

The IKEA has quite good collection and displays. Sadly, I couldnt find mattress protectors for a king-sized mattress as they were out of stock currently. However, I especially liked and bought a dresser on sale which was 99$. I also brought home a table runner, kitchen items like bowls, jars etc. I just wish there were more bed sheets in bright colors and prints in king size.

Always an interesting way to spend an afternoon. Even when I don’t buy anything, I can still get a lot of ideas from their room mock ups.

Worst delivery experience. my order was scheduled for delivery on 10/15 between 5:00-9:00 pm but the delivery came @1:00pm when i was not home. The delivery person marked the delivery incomplete as no one at home. Later that evening when i tried calling ikea they scheduled it for 10/17 between 9:00-11:00 am, never received the order. when called Ikea they told me that the person who initiated the delivery didn’t do it correctly and my order never got picked up. so here i am waiting for my order since past 3 days and now ikea has some policy that they can not schedule it for next 48 hrs so now i will be getting it on 10/20.lets hope i get it this time. i am really very disappointed. never expected this from a brand like Ikea. would have given 0 stars, if had an option.

My wife has a badly sprained ankle so we needed a wheel chair. They had loaners which is great! (thank you for that!) but it is difficult to push the wheel chair and a cart at the same time. Put baskets on the wheel chairs. Everything else was great.

Great return policy. They asked zero questions and took everything back! You can take back opened items up to 180 days later and unopened items 365 days after purchase. Also their Mac and cheese is pretty good!

While IKEA products are becoming more innovative, customer service becomes less and less as each year passes. Be prepared to waste many hours to buy larger items. Previously one could take a flat bed and pull the items off the shelf by oneself. Now - you line up to order the items, then line up to pay, then have another wait for them to be brought to the front in a separate area.

Super disappointed. They had a table we wanted. We resquested the pick up and paid for it. When we went to pick it up, the person at that station tells us that the table hasnt been in stock for over 3 months. That was lie, since the couple infron of us had taken the last one in stock. They should have been honest with us and tell us they mess up at issuing two tickets for pick up and only had one table left. Not only did they waste our time the return also takes longer to go back into my account. What a disappointment!

I placed an order on October 16, 2021 for pickup the next day, October 17, from 12:00-14:00; the website said that I would receive an email when my order had been gathered and was ready for pickup.I showed up at 12:30 but had not received an email confirming that my order was ready, so I walked around the store until 14:00. I still hadnt received an email at this point, so I ran some other errands in town. I live two hours away, so there wasnt a lot I could do in the mean time, but I did what I could.I drove back to the store at 16:00—still no email. I stood in a line to talk to an employee who told me that he couldnt help me, and told me to head outside to the pickup area. I stood in another line to talk to a second employee who was more helpful, however he pointed me back towards none other than the first employee!At this point it was 16:40 and I had to leave because I had a prior engagement at 19:00 back home.Suffice to say I dont plan on shopping at IKEA in the future.

It was a while since I visited Ikea last time but came back today and love it as the first time, the fresh look and the great variety of products always amazes me. Is a one stop for home improvement.

The Best IKEA store in Illinois.A lot of options.Total of 3 floors. Very well organized. Easy to navigate even with the carts between the floors. Carts are available at each floor. So you no need to worry if you don’t carry one in the beginning. Also, there is plenty of check out stations, so you never wait in line for check out. There is plenty of Car parking space. If you don’t find stuff at other ikea store you should definitely visit this store. This store has lot more options and varieties.Added are some pictures of some low cost deals I found among what I’m looking for.

They cancelled my order and now for 3 weeks still did not refund $ back. their team are saying wait 2-3 days already for 3 weeks. Not a nice thing for ikea to do so

My family and I were shopping at this location and bought a whole bunch of furniture which was heavy to carry. At the cash register we asked one of the managers named (CJ) if we could get help carrying them and he told us that we are on our own! Not helpful at all. I’d rate this place 4/10! Won’t recommend

The store is good, but this review is mainly critical of the cafeteria. The location has worse food than some other IKEA locations and availability is spotty probably because of the amount of foot traffic. They were randomly out of some easy to stock things like mashed potatoes... And ketchup containers were not stocked when we visited

Its humongous I mean plan to be there all day.This place is so big I think they hand you out maps but if you never been and youre looking for some furniture they have a lot of unique items. Big on organization I mean everything to organize everything that you could possibly probably think of. Its definitely worth checking out. We got our closet build there and it was very reasonable and we love it!

We usually love IKEA, but as of 22 August 2021 their inventory is very low. We found almost none of the products or choices we wanted. Very limited selection. Many products on display are not in stock. Very concerning.

Prices seem reasonable for what you get on most household items. From my experience working in furniture sales, the knock down stuff seemed inexpensive but the sofas seemed pricey. The food court was also expensive for what you get. It is a great place to get ideas if you are moving or remodeling.

Would be five stars except for the merchandising mix ups -- bought a light set and the adjacent bulbs; the bulbs dont fit the light set. Never assume adjacent items go together! I shouldve known better, and was careful about batteries in another section of the store, but then didnt think to check the lighting -- Well be taking the whole kit back.

We love ikea a place to go to for the house but lately product is out of stock we have check online for the availability before we go and is not available when on line say it is we drive likely 45 min i just suggest to update online products to match the availability in store thanks!!

Today I visited Ikea Schaumburg and spend $ 300, I was looking a garden product which was displayed at level 2. I asked a guy ( white tall guy with golden hairs and pony) at level 1 where can I find this product. He said we dont carry this its just for display. I doubt on him and check online, this product was available . I showed him its available and you are saying Ikea dont carry . He rudely told me What I told you is correct. I was shocked and him what is you name he put his hand on name badge and said Go Away. It was so insulting for me in the front of my family. The worst customer service I have ever seen! The staff doesn’t care about anything. They’re too lazy and don’t wanna help you, you wait forever and they’re playing on their phones. I had to pack my own stuff!!! Since when!? Their attitude was the worst, like do I work for you or is my money not green? I don’t get it. They’re absolutely terrible! Go to a different location trust me.

Absolutely love this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a bit crowded but due to the employees doing their job well, everything was quick and easy.

Carl the manager from the restaurant didnt wear his mask over his nose when dealing with an upset customer. He took such a long time that my daughters food was cold as a result. He was dismissive to my complaint about the 2 tbsp of mashed potatoes on the kids meal. Talked to me about the standard scoop like I hadnt been coming here for decades to already know. This was easily to be corrected but Carl thought it was better to spread his unhygienic breath all over daughters food.

I loved going here. It was fun and i enjoyed walking around with my friend looking at all the furniture that we cant afford. I loved the pay and collect program they have. I used that and didnt have to wait in the long line to pick up my online order. This made getting in and out faster. So, i would recommend you guys sign up or register for that program as quickly as possible. It will save you time.

This place is like heaven it offers you everything you need want and will need its great for college students teenagers and children also for the adults and also for your are grandparents basically just like heaven on earth to make you and yours lives easier and completely comfortable I for one love the whole concept of IKEA and the entire family of employees who are so amazingly eager to help everyone who asks I for one can see my self living in anyone of their showrooms

Alot of cool stuff to decorate and furnish your home. They need more staff to help find items. Updating their app to help you locate items would be great as well. Other than that good value. Building an entire built in type entertainment center with media and collectible storage for under $1500.

Probably due to the pandemic, but this location was out of stock for nearly everything we wanted to pick up. We still managed to find some goodies, though and the staff were helpful. First time eating at IKEA and it was acceptable.

Wonderfully kept and cleaned.Great prices and even better quality furnishings.Certain items are oversold however, and I came for a certain item. I was told there were 23 in stock and it was a different item upon arriving. There should be a more hands on approach in ensuring the actual product is there and not what a computer says.

First time shopping at Ikea. I dont know what to say.. Ikea isnt like any other store Ive ever been to. One would definitely have to practice shopping there. Also, since the store is 2 hours away from where I live, Ill probably never go back.

I feel like its been getting a bit expensive compared to earlier when Ikea had affordable furniture. As a branch Id say this is a good one, it generally has most of the stuff but this time it didnt. A lot of the items were out of stock, Im not sure if its company wide or an outlet thing.

Enjoy wandering all 3 floors of IKEA. Easy on & off I-90 and plenty of parking.

Good store for people that are looking for a variety of items/Products. The prices are fair for most stuff. Store is clean and the Ikea cafeteria has good food, the prices are pretty good for a meal.

I love not only the products, but how the set up lets you dream and envision new ways for your own rooms. The many small rooms are a great way to display product. I also think it helps a lot with organization. The prices range enough to fit any budget. I do find it hard to make a quick trip to Ikea

Great location and parking, food service and tons of any variety of furniture from the bedroom to the kitchen.

Always busy when we come here and they also tend to run low stock on items so its probably better to call first before making the trip. Various escalators were broken so there were a lot of detours which did not help with the crowding. Overall the store is kept pretty neat and has a good selection.

Worst IKEA ever. I will never step foot in here again. Terrible layout! Never been to an IKEA like this before: sprawling over 3 floors, chaotic, constantly lost, walking in circles, no staff to help! Horrible for anyone with disability or mobility issues. I like to use a shopping cart to help me walk and they are impossible to find. I had to wander the whole store before I could find one, saw no one to ask for help, and had no energy left to shop when I finally did. Asinine. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A MOBILITY ISSUE. I hate you Ikea of Schaumburg.

IKEA one from my favorite furniture store! IKEA have great European style and more choices and design options for your home and office. Also I loved his kitchen staff! Good price for everything. They have cafe inside, we always when we are here, go eat meat balls!

Picking up my online order was a nightmare. It was difficult finding someone to help me and they had to call a manager who sent me to another location in the store. It was the wrong location. This is after 7 tries to resolve the issue by phone where I kept getting hung up on. I honestly considered walking away and disputing the charges with my credit card.

This was my first time getting in any IKEA store ever and I gotta be honest, their stores are huge! Which is good, it means they have a lot of things to offer. Maybe a little cleaning up and maintaining the showroom would be better. I like the place! 👍

I suspect these Ikea stores have everything. You can, I think, buy everything you see there. Food court on the third floor, restaurant and grocery shopping on the first. Suggest one really gets to know there categorizing method if new to shopping there. Furniture for any room, and a fairly comprehensive selection of miscellany to accompany your furniture. Top three floors are the displays, bottom floor is where the warehouse is.

It was a nice experience today, not too many people shopping so we was able to linger around without feeling like were in the way. It was clean and easy to find things. Associates was helpful especially Matt while we looked at the different armoire.

This store is organized. It contains beautiful selections of furniture and home decor items. The employees are helpful and honest. It was my first IKEA visit in Illinois. Definitely recommend this IKEA store.

As of August 17, 2021, they seem to be out of a lot of things, or, everything youd want is on backorder. Yes, we all understand that there are supply chain issues, but the temptation of seeing 10 items youd like not actually on the shelves makes for a frustrating experience.

Always had a good experience when shopping in the store. Ordered online for delivery for the first time. Nightmare! Dont do it! After 2 weeks only a part of the order was delivered. No communication from Ikea whatsoever about why, when is the rest coming, is it coming? Good luck calling customer service; you can spend hours on hold and never get to anyone. The email provided doesnt work; comes back as undeliverable. Spent 5 hrs of my life trying to find out whats going on, something I should be informed about. Looks like I have two wait 2 more weeks and maybe Ill get my order, or maybe not, I have no idea....

There is something for everyone. Pretty well stocked. You will come out of the store happy. PS try their food restaurant at the checkout area. It is so cheap, there are amazing vegan options.

NORDEN Gateleg table, birch.Got this table from IKEA and am very pleased with it! Would recommend having two people when building it to speed things up but overall was an easy build. Great for small spaces but opens up to comfortable entertain 6-8 people!!

Beautiful ball rooms and good service, but the place needs an overhaul. Mildew stains, peeling paint, crown molding separating in the hallways. Hilton is letting this jewel fall apart, sad to see.

The worst experience I ever had. I ordered some items via interned with option to pick it up at Schaumburg click/pick up. Spent around a couple of hours to get there and waiting in the line for just to figure out that it became out of stock. Reasonable question - why did you take my money, if you cannot even figure out presence of products?? The answer it is loophole in our systems. OK, if you already new that You do not have those products on stock (no matter why), why do not send to me email or sms (both are in your disposal, cause YOU asked about it when I was filling the order)?? No answer. Just we are deeply sorry from the MANAGER of responsible team . OK, when you will return my money to the bank account? The answer tomorrow, sir, please give me your phone number and I will cal you to provide more details tomorrow morning. Two days gone, nothing. Im calling to the customer service and it appears that IKEA needs 9 (NINE) days to return my money back. So, they took money, didnt provide purchase (we have not ideal systems), lied in my eyes, and afterwards, they need an additional decade to return my own money, which were taken upfront? Of course, it is impossible to find any one responsible or accountable for such a caseI in IKEA. It cannot called nor professional neither ethical, just a total waist of time and emotional damage. I would understand, if it could happen in some rural grocery store, but in IKEA, which is running an international business? Please watch out for not to be trapped in the same situation.

IKEA remains IKEA. All the pluses you are used to (selection, pricing, scope of goods sold). The downside recently is checkout - the Maze you need to go through. I understood (I think} why they changed it but I disagree that it has the effect they were looking for.

I am sad that the company doesnt care about online customers and their companys reputation. I got a new home. No furniture. I am a single mom. I cant go pickup a sofa on my own - its too heavy for me. I ordered a sofa online from Ikea. The earliest delivery was in 10 weeks, ok, I am patient. The day before I received a confirmation with exact delivery time. Kids excited. The time it should be delivered I got email that Ikea is out of stock and I will be refunded. Cool. I could have ordered from another store. Customer service said they can offer another sofa in 2 months and no guarantee it wont be the same issue. Disappointed.

Inventory and stock system is a total mess. This is the second time Ive come here and it was like this.For instance I located a piece of furniture I wanted to get, aisle six bin 66 but aisle 6 only went to bin 40. Almost everything In the store is temporarily oversold. The online shopping experience is equally frustrating and underwhelming.

If I could rate it negative stars, I would. Go to bollingbrook, its worth the drive. Most subpar customer service and managerial assistance I have ever received in a shopping trip to any store.

So many options, most at good prices. Many rooms set up and decorated, but sometimes hard to find what was in the rooms.

Never thought I would get lost in a maze, till I went in circles inside this IKEA store strangely every time I followed the exit i will appear at staff only exit. Also everytime I saw a different theme. I did enjoy it all though. Not sure how I found my way out. I would love to do that again.

For some reason, it was very hard to find a cart but after some looking around, finally found one. Ikea is IKEA so you kind of know what to expect. One thing that was annoying is that I checked out and went out to go to my car with the cart but apparently you cant do that. It was too much to carry in one trip and I was by myself. Do I leave the cart by itself while I go get my car? Do I fumble with everything in my arms trying to reach my car? I ended up disobeying their rule and bring the cart to my car. I did return the cart to the proper place.

This is a well ran IKEA that stays truth to their core values of organization, simplicity, designed and easy to navigate (and later on assemble and home). IKEA keeps coming up with innovative ways to improve your shopping experience and making it as simple as possible. For example, if you are going to return an item, you can sign up online and they will text you when it’s your time to come to the counter freeing your time to do other things while you wait. The cafe has been simplified to a large touch-screen where you directly place your order. There is (of course) free internet through out the store.The only thing I was missing in this visit (and it is probably pandemic related) was the lack of measuring tapes.
