Horrible experience no support whatsoever. They tell you you can access the storage 24 * 7 which is not the case. They give you emergency no which cannot provide you with access. They say emergency is fire why would I call them incase of a fire and not 911

Great service getting signed up. Great price. This is my first time with storage rental and I look forward to using my space. UPDATE: I rented for four or five months (car in storage) now. I failed to follow the vacate policy, which caused an issue. Totally my fault. The management at the facility (Jim) went the extra distance to accommodate me. Theres lots of places to rent from - these folks know customer service. I highly recommend!!!

Great Experience! The customer service at the Schaumburg location was far beyond adequate! The manager, Jim Allen, was very thorough in providing detailed information about their services and units. The location & units appeared to be very well maintained, & appeared to offer great safety features. A little more expensive than I hoped, but I would actually prefer to pay a little more if I am going to have a five star storing experience. This is a facility that I would feel at ease storing my belongings!

There is an employee named Mitch there who was spectacular. He knew the ins and outs of the place, and was very patient and happy to explain everything. He went into detail about all the differences between the sizes, height, temperature, and much more. He told me about the extreme care they take in the security, and the fact that they lock check daily. He made the entire experience worth it, and was straightforward. Everything that he told me panned out, and I would recommend this storage facility to anyone who would be looking. Also, he got me a free truck to move some of my stuff in. I did not know they offered that, he went out of his way after all was said and done to offer it to me. Which is wonderful. He mapped out the distances to make sure I would not over on miles. Basically, what Im trying to say is that the service at this facility is exceptional because of employees like Mitch.

The Two Jims expedited my storage unit and followed up with me to ensure everything was good on our end. The service is impeccable. Will be a customer for a long time as we have an office down the road and need this storage for business matters. Again, top notch service by the 2 Jims

This is Tom, Ive rent the same unit for couple years, the staff here are phenomenal and very helpful. Im very happy with my storage unit. More important is that this storage is always clean and safe, and they maintain and manage property very well, and price is reasonable too. This is the best storage unit I had in couple years. The team via telephone at the 800# provided precise information and the on site team, Mitch & Jim greeted with smiles, very detailed and you can tell these guys love what they do!! & guess what I was able to use/rent the cargo van and it was a great surprise to have this added in, (minimal fees like gas apply)

Usually this place does make me smile, but not today. Today my husband went to pay for our storage unit for next month. Jim Allen wasn’t in but Nicole was. He paid, like we always do, with a check. Was told we were not receiving a paper receipt but will receive an email receipt (before we always received both), but okay things change, especially now because of the virus. Usually I receive the confirmation email before my husband gets home but today I did not. So I called and spoke with a Nicole who said she will send it when the payment is processed. Never heard any of the Jims or Mitch say that before and we always paid by check, for the past almost two years now. Maybe something new in place now, don’t know, she didn’t elaborate. Anyway he was there around 10:30 am and it is now 4:15 pm and still nothing. How busy can she be and does it really take this long to process payment from 10:30 this morning? This wouldn’t have happened if Jim were there.

This storage facility is very clean and modern, the best that I found in the area when we rented here starting 5 years ago. During that 5 years of rental history we have been very pleased with the management of the facility, cleanliness, efficiency and friendliness of the staff, and attendance to needs and communication. I never saw any signs of pests inside or outside of the units, nor in any of our things. I would highly recommend this business! And I would consider other Life Storage facilities if I ever needed another unit. Our rent did creep up about $10-15 per year (perhaps their property taxes did too?), which was less than ideal, but I think the price was on par with other facilities and I was pleased with the value in comparison. Overall this is a very nice and well run and maintained storage property.

I’ve been storing stuff here for work for a year. My company has used them for much longer then that. I will sometimes spend whole days here. The staff is always extremely helpful and very nice. They help with whatever my needs are and answer promptly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to store things here. This could sound silly or exaggerated.. but I am dead serious. My husband and I had a phenomenal experience today procuring our new Storage space here at Life Storage. Jim Morenz, The Associate Manager has been superbly helpful to us from our first call when we were shopping around right on up to this very moment(long awaited) as we are finishing our home move. I have have had several experiences with storage facilities in my life and I have never felt so right in my choice as I do with this one. Our belongings could not be safer, our storage logistics could not be easier, and having shopped it out, our cost COULD NOT be cheaper. You need to rent some storage space? look no further. .. #true

Very friendly staff. I stored my mustang here for about 15days, and the price is pretty decent since I can keep the car in a warm cell. The paperworks takes a quite long time, about an hour and a half, but youre good to go after that.
