Best optometry office in Simi Valley! Dr. Lisa Maier is the best. A true professional with a very down to earth vibe and approach. She truly does go above and beyond for her patients. Shes amazing! The front office staff is just as amazing. They do not rush or make you feel like just another patient. Super friendly and always willing to be of service. Dr. Shields and his staff are always so pleasant and very thorough! Dr. Shields is great in explaining your eye exam in detail. He never rushes and makes sure he answers all your questions. There is a great selection of frames and the turnover time is always faster then I expect!

We moved from Santa Clarita three years ago and are lucky to have found Dr. Shields. He and his staff are excellent. Our previous optometrist mentioned that my husband had Macular Degeneration but never followed up on it. On our first visit, Dr. Shields recommened that my husband go to a retinal specialist. My husband did so and it was discovered he had advanced Macular Degeneration for his age. Thankfully, Dr. Shields helped in preventing his eyes from getting worse.Dr. Shields is so personable and takes his time with patients. He cares about his patients and listens to their concerns. His staff is also very responsive to patients needs.We highly recommend Dr. Shields.
