They keep what i want on deck, and if they dont have it in stock they call other stores or order it for me. Alway great customer service.
The employee was kind of rude. Went in to get Pokemon promo. He stated one per person and it was me and my cousin. That would have been one person. He got really rude about it and I wasnt pleased with it.

Barely anything in stock. Prices were high. For example, a game that sells digitally on the Nintendo e shop for 25 dollars was 35 dollars in store. No xbox series x or s in stock, which is to be expected, but they wanted as much for a one x used as a series s costs, and they had to order it. Supposedly, video games have had a big boost during this pandemic, but youd think it was a dying art when you step into this gamestop.
They have a good assistant whit the purchase items.

The store manager there is horible(Donald) litterally treats me like garabage. So is the asl. I have 2 diffrent wittneses on each occasion.. i bought a controller brand new opened the box then went in a tried to return it the asl said all the buttons were sticky and offered me less then what the app told me and i litterly just got it from him the day before.. the next tkme i was there i tried to buy some trading cards and use my disvount code from my rewards and the asl said i could use it towards trading cards when on the app it says on any one item in store.. Anytime im in the store i always have an issue when i ask questions or want to return something ... i go to woodruff road now the manager and asl are always super helpful and always answer any questions i have!!! GO TO WOODRUFF RD !!!!!!
I came to trade in a whole bunch of stuff. Several controllers, a game, and a phone. Everything except for the phone was easy breezy, but for some reason the system wasnt accepting my phone for a trade. The employee was very apologetic and did her best to explain why it wasnt working to me. All together an exceptional experience, many friendly faces. Come here!

Purchase a game, Starwars. Never opened or played it. Didnt have the chance. Wanted to return it, was past the 30days was offered to trade it in, $17 for store credit $13 cash. You cant be serious. So you purchase a game never use it or open it, if you want to return it to get your money you cant. How is that fair. Paid 44.99. It could be returned if they wanted they just didnt want to do it. Not good service, a previous GameStop returned the Madden purchased that was also not opened. Should have just returned both at same store with the nicer associate

Pretty good apart from the fact that sometimes the person at the register might push you to buy a used game. I know they have a circle of life policy and they might get fired for not enough used sales. but if I say I want a used game I should get it. And Ive never had any problems with this one. They just dont need to push it too hard

Absolutely loved my experience here, I purchased a used PS4 here last Thursday which would have been the 10 of January. And the controller stopped working, I opted out of getting the extended warranty on it so the warranty ended the following Thursday which was when the conrolller stopped working, I went to the store that Friday since it stopped working after they closed on Thursday and replaced it very graciously. ★★★★★ Im happy to call this my home store.

Selections arent as exciting for me as they used to be, maybe because Ive bought too much and oversaturated myself or maybe cause I feel theres too much Fortnite and non-sellers that hang out in the clearance area. Guess Im just ready for a change in the focus of content as far as figures go. Prices are high for many collectibles too. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

Was able to pre-order games in advance, & purchase accessories for old game systems. I even got items for my PS2. If I upgrade, this is where I will go.
I came in 10/10/19 to purchase a pre-owned Xbox 360 which was broken, so I came in to exchange for a newer 250GB model which I, of course had to pay extra for. I found out later that it was the 4GB model which obviously isnt as much as I paid for the expected product. Unfortunately it was near closing so I called the staff who said they would leave a note for the next staff the following day to leave the system I paid for, so that I could pick it up. I went in only to be informed that no note was left and the staff that shift were rude and rushing as if they couldnt be bothered with me only to be told that they didnt have my product and then sent me well out of my way to the Verdae Market location. Thay store may be out of the way for Simpsonville and surrounding residents bit it is worth it considering that staff is friendly and more than willing to help and in a timely manner.The old staff a few years back (maybe 5 or so) were awesome and I never had a bad experience with them. Rehire those guys please.
The associate was super helpful and knowledgeable. I feel bad for there employees because Gamestop is a store that is currently running a non sustainable model and will be closed sooner rather than later
Just wanted to let anyone looking to purchase products from this store that they lock their doors 5-10 minutes before their posted closing time. Also, if you rush to the store, RUN to the door and wave at the associates still inside the store, they will will lock the door in your face and completely ignore you. I suggest you take your used video game/hardware elsewhere. Somewhere that actually cares about their customers like 2nd and Charles on Laurens Rd.
I had some issues with a used X box 360 that I had just purchased from them took it back and a gentleman named Chris took care of everything, even took the new one out of the box to make sure it worked properly. I then had a issue with a used game not working that another employee sold me Chris took care of me again. I will only deal with him when I go!
Went in to return a steam controller, lost receipt, but they still offered to help me which was unexpected. They remembered me from my last visit. Good crew working.
The staff was very helpful and attentive with my 6 year old kid.
Lets start with the manager, Zane. Zane us a great guy whos always striking up conversations with the customers. He and all his employees are friendly and helpful. This is a top of the line Gamestop.

This store is garbage. My girlfriend bought the new Kingdom Hearts Funko Mystery box from here and for starts there was no one at the register to assist her with getting the box from where it was placed and then when someone did show up, the girl working there immediately mentioned that they didnt have any chases. Normally these boxes are wrapped in a clear plastic film, but this one wasnt. These people tamper with the merchandise and sell it as new. The GameStop in Simpsonville just loves to hire the sleaziest people in existence. I would rather drive to the closest city then do my business with these worthless ballsacks.

Went in yesterday with my boyfriend. My boyfriend went to ask a gentleman a question, that we have seen in there everytime we go in there, and he ignored him. My boyfriend repeated the question when the guy looked at him and the guy said he couldnt help him and pointed to another man. My boyfriend asked if he worked there and the guy said not really and pointed to the other guy again. I wish I didnt have to give them one star but, needless to say they might want to rethink their workers and maybe do a course for customer service. We wont go back there again!

Its a solid purchasing location for any gamer, however, the deals are not always in the best interest of the customers. Its great for anything other than discounts.

On behalf of the manager, I apologize to an employee named DJ. I went in and asked DJ for help picking out a game. The manager screamed across the store, telling and gesturing DJ to come to him...in the middle of talking and helping me. DJ responded with Im sorry. I had four games to trade in and wanted to purchase a new game but I walked out. I dont want to support a store that would interrupt a customer being helped. More importantly, I feel the manager owes an apology to DJ. Thought it was an unprofessional move to act like that.

Good service but can be crowded at time especially on game/hardware releases so expect a wait, but usually wait is less than 5 mins..
Employee had strong bad breath, stunk up the store with it and wouldnt shut up about a Dragonball game enough to move so I could look at the PS4 games.
