Went in Saturday morning, 3rd customer in the door. Was told it would be 20-25 minutes. After 50 minutes I was finally helped. Understaffed cause the manager was helping others as they walked in. After about an hour, I finally got a new phone, shouldn’t have taken that long and of course had to buy the accessories cause a phone doesn’t come with anything. Free upgrade wasn’t free. They don’t transfer the phones contact info or photos at the store anymore, would have liked to have known that from the start since I lived an hour away and needed a phone. Well, the phone was useless since I didn’t have a connection outside to transfer my old phone to the new one . I also needed help installing the protective cover for the phone. I went back in a few minutes after I bought the phone and was told I would have to wait about 20-25 minutes. Ridiculous! I will never use this location again and have a good mind to change servers. I’m sure I can get better service from another provider.

Think twice before working with this authorized Verizon dealer. They will upsell you for all you are worth. Service is nonexistent. Understaffed and manager is not available to correct the problem situations. Promised upgraded service if we did a trade-in. A loan was made in my name without my permission. This is illegal and unethical. It will take Verizon Customer Service 2 weeks to correct this. Supervisor at store states that this authorized dealer is not allowed to offer a telephone purchase without a payment plan being added. This locks the phone to Verizon service for 2 years.

Went to this store with the intention of buying an iPhone 12 Pro Max most likely and with two minutes until 7pm, when they were closing, I was turned away. It’s pathetic about this staff and their unwillingness to have even decent customer service. I don’t normally complain but in this day in age when you need sales more than ever you think that they would WANT to sell me a phone?! Absolutely Pathetic. Maybe we should switch to a different carrier..............

Went to buy a new phone for me and my girlfriend but the guy was rude at entrance. He asked what I wanted like I didnt have a reason to go in. I replied to look at getting a new phone and he said only one of us was allowed to come into the store at a time. Since we were both getting a phone that seemed ridiculous to me so I told him forget that and left. When Im coming to spend over 2,000+ you think they would be nicer but nope.Id pay full price for phones anywhere else before giving that store my business. The store had maybe two other people in it at the time I went.Replying back here: Yes, it was very disappointing and I wont be returning. No incentive for me to spend money there.

This store has never provided great service. I came to store right before pixel 5 came out, and the representative was extremely rude. So I ended up leaving and upgrading at the best buy in town. Came here tonight to upgrade wifes phone and Mario was rude about the whole covid policy. If Im the account holder I should be present when anything is occuring with my account. Store provides terrible customer service and is consistently rude. I will never shop at this location again. Good news to anyone with Verizon you can go to mall in town or use the Best Buy both will provide you with better service.

Great service. But they always find a way to squeeze more cash out of you. I was charged $40 because I bought a new phone which was an upgrade from my last. Same line for over 2 years, and because I wanted to buy a newer phone, they charged me. Other than that, young lady was very helpful.

Was told that you have to wear a Mask even if you are using the kiosk. Theres NO SIGN up stating that Masks are REQUIRED to wear in the store. IF YOU want CUSTOMERS to wear them I SUGGEST you put up signs on the doors and up in the store. And Definitely not be rude to customers for not having one on!

Money hungry folks here😃 They charged me in store for phones a speaker and accessories I PAID for them then get a $1,000 estimated bill Guess WHAT?They not only charged me IN STORE but, charged my account as well! For the EXACT same items! Thanks to NO ONE but, customer service! The manager here says, I dont know how that would have happened? Sorry Yeah she is...so sorry she charged me a restocking fee upfront...funny how she cannot charge the EXTRA $50 to my account however, can & did charge $500 worth of items to my account after I paid for them! ...the🤣 manager Kristen 👎 HORRIBLE! I walked in and it was not good from the git go. What was promised was not realized. And when checked into it was in limbo. A very nice young man called Verizon and was placed on hold for 30 min before being hung up on. He had me try two numbers and the skies opened and the sun shone at 7 p.m. in the Midwest.And as 7 firetrucks went to put out a fire for a building two doors down. I discovered there are very wonderful people handling phone calls and sorting out others mistakes and dropped balls.I dont remember her name but I remember her story. When I told her the reason for the phone I wanted was for my very pregnant and beautiful daughter.When the rep heard that she shared she was pregnant with her first child. I can tell you this little girl is going to get an amazing mama.So thank you to the folks at Verizon on Sunnybrook. And to the sweet young lady on the phone, you were my angel this night. You have no idea how important this cell phone is to my daughter and her mama.Kindness and big beautiful hearts are out there. Make sure when you talk with a rep from a store they are people too. And more than likely they have had one to twenty ignorant foul-mouthed individuals try and trash their day. Be good them. I read somewhere that you get better service at the dmv, which I chuckled at. Now I offer my apologies to the dmv after my two recent Verizon visits. Understaffed, slow, and no real concern for the value of your time. The digs are hip and happening, the music is edgy but the service is effectively non existent. Unless you’re there to buy a phone, I think they want you to get frustrated and leave.

Rude...very rude gave them 2 chances this week. Everything they couldn’t help me with (new case w/clip and unlock an old phone) the Verizon on Sergeant Road happily assisted me and did what I needed! They took the extra steps! I’m in sales/customer service and Sunnybrook needs an attitude adjustment and a little training on taking care of customers! Whether your sales goals are different or whatever the case may be...every customer matters!!!

Do not do business with this location! Sales rep Guillermo straight out lied to me and ended up costing me $1000!! General manager Andy also lied to me. Every time I called in they would give me an excuse why Andy couldnt come to the phone and would tell me he would call back.. I called multiple times over 3 weeks and never got a call back. The last time they answered and laid the phone on the counter and I could hear them laughing in the background. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and GM Andy refused.. If it wasnt for corporate stepping in I would have never got this problem resolved.

First off, this place is awful. Victor was the one helping us. He told my friend that she is a liar for describing how she broke her phone. When she asked nicely what she can do to fix it he basically said nothing and tried leaving us to go to the next customer. My friend called her father to explain the situation then wanted to talk to a manager. We walked back in and got a manager. To make the situation worse he tried to tell her that she wasnt on the plan she has been on for multiple years. He wouldnt even let her try to prove that she is on the plan, by calling her own father. The manager lied over the phone to him. She tried saying that she was there the whole time when in reality she was there for 30 seconds if even that and walked off. Then tried to tell her father that she is a liar for describing how her phone broke. To make the situation worse Victor knew that his manager was trying to save his butt for the awful service he provided us. This is one of the worst services I have seen in ANY store and will drive multiple hours if I have to. This store is one of the worst places that has ever been. I would never want any friends or family to go here and get service. It was ABSOLUTE garbage.

I tried to set up a new account online, it all went smoothly until the end when it hit a snag right at the end (my fault for being impatient with the website really). Website said go to store and they’ll fix it. It DID get fixed eventually although it took them having to call in and all of us waiting for Verizon on hold for a while, but they did get it fixed. It’s never easy switching phones and keeping the same numbers and all that. They made sure it got done and I got what I wanted. The manager was very attentive and gave me her card just in case there is any more trouble in the future. I had been to the store across the street a couple years back and service was not good, that’s definitely changed now.

I came into the store September 23rd 2013 and there were 2 employees at the main counter and 2 employees standing around at the front counter. The store easily had 15 other people in it. We (and by we I mean my girlfriend and I) were approached by a Manager named “Jennifer H” who came to us from behind the counter. Immediately she was very rude to us and was very blatant saying “what’s your problem” rather than “how can I help you today.”We gave our problem and she said there was just a little wait. We looked at phones for about 15 minutes when an elderly woman came in and Jennifer approached her to ask her the same question. She told the woman there was a 30-45 minute wait because they were short staffed. I over heard her say that and was a little disappointed Jennifer failed to tell us the wait time. Mind you, the 2 guys at the counter were standing there talking about nonsense and mentioned he had more training to do to the other guy, however they proved to be useful as they walked with a customer to look at a phone eventually.I immediately said to my girlfriend “are you kidding me? Why don’t these guys have more people” after I heard her tell the woman the wait time. Jennifer snapped her head in our direction and yelled LOUDLY. “Excuse me?” I said, yes why don’t you have more people working there are 15 people waiting here and there is over a 45 minute wait you just said. She demanded I leave the store and go wait outside. Her exact words were “You can go wait outside the store” I said if this were AT&T I would never have this customer service, and she said you can leave now. I said and these poor people wait here while you tell a customer to leave your store? What a joke you are I said. I also exclaimed I would be calling HR and writing a complaint on Google, Yahoo, and Yelp to tell them of the horrible experience I had.Me and my girlfriend left the store and will be switching providers, because this isn’t the first time we’ve received poor support from Verizon. It’s an overcrowded company with not enough sales or support staff to accompany the sheer size of it’s client base.Alex

I have NEVER in my life EVER, been treated so poorly at a Verizon location as I have at this one. I purchased a phone this last Saturday (Memorial Day weekend). On my way home I realized that no one could hear me on their end, said I sounded like I was in a tunnel. I returned on Tuesday to either get it fixed or get an exchange. I was told that because I used my mothers upgrade that the warranty was null and void. I would either A. use my insurance for a refurbished phone (after I paid $400 for a iPhone 6+, and THEN another $150 for a insurance claim) or B. contact Apple to get a replacement because of a hardware issue (which I would have to drive 3 hours to get to the closest location). Let this be a warning to anyone else who uses an upgrade and the store provides you with a defective device. CHECK THE PHONE BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE! I went back tonight (Wednesday) after I spoke to Verizon corporate office that they would replace my phone at the same location I bought it from. I was treated poorly by the staff AND the manager. Because god forbid, I ask them to right a wrong and take away from their precious commission time. I work in customer service for a living, I would be ashamed at myself for ever treating a customer the way they did to me. I spent $700 that Saturday in their store, and its the LAST commission they will get off myself or any other person I will make sure to tell this story too. The only thing they have that is different than any other store or customer sales representative is their service, and they failed miserably.

This is by far the WORST STORE And employees I have ever encountered. Having been a past employee of the industry, where you got progressive discipline for rude and unacceptable behavior, this was a shocker! Dominic Hayes was the rudest and most ill equipped representative next to Kristin a store manager, I have seen in a long time. She was far more concerned to wipe the. Punters down rather than help the new employee with my situation, therefore causing me to not have adequate phone service for 5 days. This is by far a store and employees that should be shut down and reopened with all new staff and training! Thank goodness for the Sourhern Hills mall store, their staff and help was great!

Let me start this review by saying that I dont usually do this. I understand that businesses have bad days, can be short-staffed, etc. With that being said, my experience in this store was pretty ridiculous. The story is below, but if you are short on time: awful customer service and zero professionalism.I live an hour away from Sioux City, and my phone dropped and shattered. I started out by calling this store 3 times without anybody answering. I called the store in the mall, got some information from them, and ended up driving to this store because it was the closest and I thought it would be less busy.As I was standing there, being helped by a girl, another female employee in a group of them interrupted us, and asked her if she remembered the time that she invited her to a party, and said there were going to be a bunch of guys there. The we got there and there were, like, 4 guys, and they were all nasty. Whatever, I needed a phone.Then,about 5 minutes later, a group of employees were in a little pod behind the counter, probably 12 feet from customers and in full view. The conversation was about how Canada is the sex capital of the world, but Thailand is the anal sex capital of the world. Laughter, more conversation. One girl looked up an article on her phone to prove it to the rest of them. I was standing at the counter and heard the term anal sex at least 4 times.Finally, at the very end of this, my situation wasnt resolved, but we were talking about the next steps. The girl asked a male employee about an issue, and he responded by saying in a very rude tone, Wait a minute, youre getting the Galaxy S4? Why?! Dude, thats a lateral move. Thats a terrible decision. Really nice piece of customer relations there. I was getting it because Im a grad student, it was cheap, and I needed a phone. Went on to tell me two more times that I had made terrible decision. At that point, I was done. Walked out calmly. Then decided to come back in and have a conversation with a manager. Calmly told him what happened, and just said that if I were a manager, I would want somebody to let me know if that was happening in my store. The manager, to his credit, seemed genuinely concerned, apologized, thanked me several times for telling him, and handled it well.

I got a LGG2 phone and from the get go it did not work right. Finally after months of putting up with it I took it in to this store. Lady that waited on me the first trip in was very rude told me they would order me a new phone once I got it bring it in they would transfer all of my contacts etc. I got my phone went there today to have them transfer all the info to my new phone and after being there 40 min the guy told me that they have a issue with the LG download, my new phone was set up just could not get anything transferred. He told me I could take it to the mall store they were not having issues over there. Really you could not have told me that 40 min ago??? I already wasted 40 min of my lunch did not have time to run to the mall. His last comment was good for you, you get to keep your old phone for a few more days. Really good for me!!!!! I have never been treated with such disrespect, and arrogant behavior from a retailer. I arrived with four staff sitting around, all on their phones visiting. My initial impression was they did not want to assist us, because it was so close to the end of the night. We explained our situation, of needing a new SIM card to reactivate our phone. They seemed unenthusiastic and as if they had no idea what we had just said. The staff stated, oh, we dont do that. And other snide mocking comments from the two male employees. We immediately went to Wireless World, where they knew exactly what we needed, and they assisted with no hesitation. VERIZON Corporate needs to do something about this store.

The manager Kristen is complete bs. Was no help what so ever. Spent more than 1000$ on a new phone with them and I recieved a message saying I wasnt going to get my case that I bought the same day. Was told I was going to recieve a refund, NEVER got a refund, NEVER got any help from her or her staff. Had to call the company myself and express my frustration was granted a full refund within that day calling the company. Keep in mind I had my original recipet showing PROOF I bought the damn case I emailed pics of my receipt to the woman I spoke to on the phone and she believed me in that instant. Well I can tell you this if you love being ignored, not being told whats going on, or just like them speaking to you like your dumb this is the place to go. All I was in for was to return a jetpack that I did not feel like I really had any use for. They took it looked up my info and didnt let me know what was gonna happen I didnt get a receipt (which I need for my business as they are company lines) and I got ignored when another customer came in. The general manager was rude, condisending and laughing when my phone stopped working after owning it 12 days. Then he took it in the back room and came back 10 minutes later and said they wouldnt replace it. Argued with him for over 30 minutes and all he did was talk down to me, accuse me of lying and then he walked away. They lost a customer today due to him. He was more concerned about texting on house phone than he was about fixing mine. I will never step in that Verizon again!

I went to go purchase an Iphone 6s, my first ever phone. Right away we got helped and picked out my phone. The gentleman said the manager had to go pick some more iphones up at the mall and said he would be back in about 15 minutes. We sat down and waited. After an hour and 45 minutes i still hadnt gotten my phone. We always tried to get the gentlemans attention that helped us pick it out but he was to busy helping 15 other people. We finally got someones attention and almost demanded service they rudely replied back. After getting my phone set up, it took us 3 hours and 30 minutes. terrible service, never go there.

They are very overpriced but really only the stupid people are going to pay more for the same service you can get through Straight Talk they use Verizon towers and every Tower that is clothes to wear using the phone and what it cost you roughly about between 30 to $55 a month 4 Limited talk text and data downfall is prepaid you buy a card once a month I think I get better service now and then I did on price my phone always works

Sucks Ass!! Been all over the USA to many Verizons within the past 7 yrs as a customer, about 4 times a yr, have 6 devices currently, THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, ESPECIALLY THE SO CALLED MAN IN CHARGE, MATT, you would think hes selling his personal phones or his grandmas phones, so rediculous, A REAL LOOSER!! get a life !theyre not yur phones, your just a SALESMAN! same as a used shoe salesman! HaHahaha

These people are so unprofessional, they were rude to my wife whom I authorized on my account, simply because the agent was too lazy to call into Verizon cust. Support to verify the authorized users. She had already waited in this hole in the wall for 30 mins and they acted as if she had nothing else to do in life but wait around for their crap service. Also even though my wife was not authorized they proceeded to give out acct. specific information on upgrades and hinting my address on the account all while insisting my pregnant wife should wait another 30-45 mins to get what she needed done! Having an extensive customer service background this truely is appalling. Id recommend the mall location as they are a COR store as well.
