Terrible customer service. Went there twice today to purchase packing supplies. First time there were four people in line with one person working the counter.Next attempt there were two people working both helping people. I waited in line for 15 minutes and walked out.Check out soon of the 1 star reviews.Will not go back.

This uhaul location don’t pick calls, I can’t get anyone to pick call from yesterday. I dropped the truck yesterday but I had a problem with their online drop off, their software was not acting’ right. I still can’t anyone to answer the phone this morning.

Poor Customer Service Found a different location. The agent there is rude and dishonest. I drove the truck for less than 40 miles and I put 5 gallon gas on front of his eyes when I return the truck to them, but he insisted the tank is less than the described and he insist to charge me more for no reason!Not recommended at all

On 3/10/2021 I made a reservation for a trailer at 2161 Hewatt Rd. Snellville, Ga. I have rented there multiple times each month for the last 6 months. Each time I would go in, they asked if I had a reservation. I did not, so they encouraged me to do so. So yesterday I made a reservation. When I sent in my employee to pick it up, I was told I had to go in to complete the transaction. When I went in the employee(Freddie) was clearly disturbed and said he would have to start the reservation all over again. I explained to him that I had to leave a customer to come in and do this. He stated that it was company policy. When I asked why I didn’t have to go back in at the time of pick up, he again stated it was company policy and he was not going to break policy. I then asked if that meant that policy was broken the last time, rather than giving me an explanation, he got nasty. He said I did not have to rent there. When I said that kind of response could get a 1star review, he exploded. He demanded that I leave and I could go ahead and give him a 1star review. He also screamed, that I am banning you from any other Uhaul in the area. When I turned to the store manager(Victoria), who heard the whole incident, she screamed for me to get out. I am a business owner 10 minutes from there. If I ever witnessed such behavior from an employee of mine they would be terminated on the spot. I guess if you live off the Uhaul name you may be okay with it.

The best thing about the U-Haul Center in Snellville GA is associate Freddie S. I’ve been picking up moving supplies past week! Some orders I made online some items I bought in the store.Firstly, I drove 29 miles to that particular U-haul center because the U-haul independent locations in Roswell and Dunwoody weren’t up to par. I knew of the U-haul Center in Snellville so I went there. Secondly, I had several purchases and 2 returns for which I couldn’t find my receipts. Freddie was so patient with me on both occasions when I had returns and questions about previous online orders. I was tired and frustrated with moving and his compassion and professionalism made a frustrating situation so much better. Also, this U-haul Center has everything in stock for my moving needs. I recommend the U-Haul Center at Hewatt Rd and Stone Mountain Highway.

Poor management. No follow up or follow through. My brother had items shipped from out of state. Items arrived 2 days early but no one contacted him. We were told all we had to do was show up to get our items. We called in advance to let them know we were on our way; put on hold for the 38 minutes and then told they needed 24 hrs notice to bring container out for access. So we went back the next day, after giving proper notice, and they started making excuses as to why the container was not ready for access. 20 minutes later we got our shipment and removed our items from the container. What a waste of time!

This is the worst U-haul I have ever been to! As I was in the process of doing a mobile check in, I walk into the store to grab a key and find out the GM had given away the van to another customer. How?! When I tried to rectify the situation, the GM, Victoria, was extremely rude and unprofessional. We contacted the U-haul corporate number, they called the location, and she was still rude with them. The customer service at this location is just not good. The worst part is that I stayed on property long enough (while on the phone with corporate) to watch the other person get into the van I originally reserved and drive away AFTER I had already gotten into the van to take pictures. NOT COVID safe at all! I ended up going to another location that I was pleased with.

2 months ago we had a wonderful experience at this location so I decided to use them again. However, the 2nd time was horrible! I called and confirmed my reservation 2 days prior AND received my email confirmation for the pick up so assumed all was good. Drove up to Georgia from Florida and went to pick up our 26ft truck and it was not there! The Uhaul rep called the person who should have brought it back 1 hour earlier and they said they wouldnt have it to them for another 4 hours! The rep then called another location and WE had to drive 20 miles out of our way to get the truck! Strangely, even with all this mess, the manager was argumentative and didnt want to honor the $50 credit (when the reservation is not correct). Thankfully, they at least made that right in the end but my advice, is to go to a competitor instead of using this location!

Been waiting for a while to be helped. Went to someone who said they dont know how to help me and to wait for the other guy. Problem is the other guy is having a full on conversation about life with another customer while I sit here waiting to be dealt with. Piss poor service as usual.

MINUS ONE STAR rating if it was possible! I received a call 3 hours before my scheduled reservation saying that my vehicle was not available as promised. They offered no alternative vehicle, nor an+other possible location to pick up a truck. They just flat out canceled my reservation after that and never told me....I only found out that it had been canceled when I checked the app to see if I could find another number to call about the availability of another truck. I had people waiting to help me move, but I had no truck. I called customer service twice. Both times they blatantly lied. No one created the complaint as they stated. They promised to send me an email confirmation of the complaint. They never did. I had to spend more money than I planned to because I had to get a truck and other moving help at the last minute, since my established helpers could not wait around indefinitely for a replacement truck. I even advised the last Customer Service person, Shontay, that I was recording the call as my backup since the previous person lied and did not send me an email confirmation of my complaint. Apparently, she did not care, because she lied also and said she was going to send an email indicating she submitted my complaint to management but she did not! Its obvious judging by the 2-Star overall Yelp review, that I am not the only victim of this corporate giants incompetence. If I conducted business like this, Id be out of business or possibly in jail due to fraud. We could only hope for this same fate for U-Haul. STAY AWAY - STAY VERY, VERY FAR AWAY!!!

If I could give this place ZERO STARS, I would. Renting a van for an in town move has been a NIGHTMARE. I was only supposed to be charged 46$ but ended up paying 110$. This location changed my contract to a completely different contract than the one I signed and overcharged me. I immediately called customer service and was told I would be called back. More than a week later I was still charged with no contact from the location. I had to call 3 more times before anyone actually cared to rectify my issue. When I was finally contacted back by a manager, Quinicia Williams, I was unable to answer the phone. Instead of waiting to speak to me directly and allowing me to voice my concerns, she left a voicemail making excuses as to why she hadnt contacted me sooner and credited my card a lesser amount than the refund I am entitled to. WITHOUT EVEN SPEAKING TO ME. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EVEN WORSE PROFESSIONALISM. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!

I went to this location two different times for propane and I was turned around both times. The first time I was told the handle was broken and the second time I was told she was the only one at this location and she was not certified to fill my 45 gallon tank up. I wont be back for the third, blank drive.

Two days ago I rented a 7 trailer from this U-Haul location.My experience was very positive. I encountered 3 employees,(Quinicia, Craig and Mence) each was courteous and thoroughand conscientious. I intend to rent there again.

My rental with Penske was bothched and my wife called this company at the last minute. I needed a 16 foot truck, they did not have one but gave me a 20 foot for the same price. Staff was friendly and helpful. After I dropped it off, all employees went out of their way to quickly get the transaction completed. Kitt was particularly helpful and gave me advice on how I could save money in the future. A very well managed business.

I stood at the front desk for 45 minutes after ringing the bell and calling the place several times. Finally two men came from the storage area sweating profusely only to tell me my reservation had been cancelled. No phone call was made to me letting me know and they had no trucks to replace my cancelled reservation.

Location has everything you need but cudtcust service is lacking. I asked a question about the specialty glass pack $11 / per box, to determine if I needed more than one and the young lady stood there in a daze. Either she had no knowledge of the item or she didnt think I should purchase it. Either way it didnt seem like she cared. After making my decision on my own I purchased two of the packs and three additional boxes $29.54 total. She checked me out and didnt say thank you. I should have gone to the Walmart.

Dishonest Gas Scammers - See the attached receipt and share this with others. I dont want people to feel as ripped off as I did. I drove only 11 miles. Only 11 miles! It is right on the check-in document (attached). I added almost a gallon before returning the van, and they told me I needed to pay for an additional 3 gallons... thats 4 gallons total to go 11 miles! Either their trucks get less than 3 mph or this is FRAUD. I refused to pay for gas I didnt use, and they charged me anyway. This has to be illegal. Dont go here.

Eric Coward the manager is so rude and unprofessional!! I had a problem when i reserved over the phone to the Hwy 124 location. I was instead sent to Hewatt Rd. When i went to the location I was promised $50 credit for the inconvenience of the change of location. When I check credit wasnt there talk to customer service they wanted the manager Eric Coward to handle it. The way that man talk to me was so rude and just nasty. He never once asked what rep did it so he can fix the problem...He even did this on the phone with a customer service rep on 3 way. She had to break up the argument because he wouldnt let me talk!! He interrupted every word I said, when I asked him to hold on he kept talking. I am so disgusted. Uhaul needs to hire someone with more customer service skills. This call needs to be listened to asap!

The smiling photo of the general manager Eric does not depict his true disposition or it didnt when I spoke to him. When speaking to him and asking him questions about my order, he either answered with a curt yes or no or, more often than not, an I dont know. Not sure how someone became a general manager without knowing anything apparently. Moreover, I put my card on file to reserve my truck. It transpired that Eric was the gentleman who took my card number. After pretending like he didnt know whether my card was on file not, he admitted that it was he who took down all my card information and wrote it on a piece of paper (????!!!) while he was busy doing something else and didnt remember to put the card number in until it was too late. So not only was Eric inefficient, he also had bad customer service. One can only imagine how his team operates. I suggest that you go the extra mile to avoid this place or do all that you can to avoid the general manager Eric.

They dont even deserve one star..The worst ever..They are suppose to check the trucks before someone rents them and they put my husband in one that the check engine light was on and they didnt put my husband in another one..They put my husband and brother in danger of something happening.. Normally when the check engine light is on that means something is wrong. Then they took the regular 50.00 deposit and the 19.00 we had the truck not even a whole day and only drove probably around 50 miles so we were only about 10-15 miles over what I told them and put gas in the U-Haul before we returned it. They then took another 40.00 on top of the 69.00. So we paid over 100.00 to rent the truck. When I called about the money and the issue with the truck I was told a manager would call me back and the lady acted like renting a U-Haul with the engine light on was no big deal..My next step is writing the BBB and social media..Iam a business owner and when I have a unhappy client I deal with it ASAP and do whatever I have to to make them stay a client..2 years ago we rented a U-Haul and did about the same miles and was only charged 60.00 dollars. Never again will we rent from them again.. Horrible customer service and horrible management.. Ill be calling corporate tomorrow!!! Make sure if you rent from these people you check your own truck out because they dont.

This Uhaul location IS HORRIBLE! The manager should be fired. Even though we had an appointment and gave credit card information for a hitch to be installed, the manager at this Hewatt Rd location didnt feel like installing anything that day so he wouldnt do it. He and his assistant were worse that unhelpful, they were RUDE! He also tried to delete the appointment information - it was not successful as we were at another U haul location at the time and the manager there, Memorial Hwy U haul was trying to accommodate us and witnessed the attempt to delete! My advise- do not make any appointments, give credit card information or depend on any service or expect courteous, honest service at this Hewatt Rd location!!

So my dad went to return a truck after helping me move. We have done this about 4 times now over the last few years at this same location. They explained to us each time that the trucks needed to be on Full or we will be charged. We never had an issue until the other day (12/9/17). Everyone in this location is a new face so we did not see the people that are usually there. My dad dropped the truck off AFTER FILLING IT UP AT THE GAS STATION ACROSS THE STREET and was told he would be charged $8.50 because it was not full. Out of curiosity while he was inside talking to the guy working there my sisters and I checked the gas just to see how much more he needed to put in the tank to avoid the charge. We went out, started the truck and saw the needle ABOVE the F. The guy working was very short and basically told my dad to go back to the gas station or pay. Now $8.50 is not a large amount, but $8.50 would not have fit in the gas tank since it was full. My dad then talked to the employee trying to get more of an understanding of why. We know that they charge like $4/gallon of the trucks are returned under full so that was okay but if the tank was on full, or the needle was past the F we wanted to know why we were being bathed this time. The man was very short, provided no help, no explanation, and just dismissed my father. At first my dad was in Uhaul alone and came out telling my sisters and I that he needed to pay. It seemed as if he was trying to take advantage of my dad (being in his 60s) by talking fast, giving vague explanations, & dismissing him. My father had NO issue paying the $8.50 but felt very disrespected and taken advantage of. We use this Uhaul very often (since my sisters, my nephews, & myself are all moving out of the house and living on our own) and did not like the way it was handled when he asked for clarification and was basically dismissed. If they are charging because the tank is not full that is one thing but since the needle clearly showed the tank was full I do not think he needed to be charged or handled the way he was. Very disappointed in this Uhaul’s customer service.

Still scammin! Make sure you have them sign off on your fuel gauge before leaving the premises. Also, take photos of your gauge and receipts from gas station, etc. Currently disputing their fuel charges. Aside from that, the truck worked.

While the location was fine the overall Uhaul experience was horrible. Online booking is poorly managed as I found myself and a dozen others searching for a truck to fulfill their reservations. Came down to having to drive 45 minutes to a location to get a truck which was longer than I had reserved and would not make the tight turn into the storage unit. Again, no complaints about the location but the Uhaul corporation needs to get things straightened out. I will not be using Uhaul again because of this experience.

Went Jimmyto purchase some gas at the propane station. We arrived 5 minutes prior to the store opening and was told the cashier is opening the register and someone will be right with you. 20 minutes later when we approached the office to see what the delay was the cashier / manager was rude to us . paying customers also and let another customer in front of us . the manager/cashier said that shes the only one certified and that she was doing him a favor by helping him.

AVOID RENTING FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST!! ZERO STARS. Save yourself the headache, time, and even your money by going to the next nearby location.Dissatisfied is not even the word I want to use in regards to my experience with this U-Haul. I have worked in customer service for 15 years and never have I been treated in such a way by employees. I am disappointed and regret making the decision to do business with U-Haul. My unsecured belongings are STILL ON THE HAUL (which stalled out on me last night, after the tire blew on the first truck I was issued), and I am eagerly trying to make arrangements to get all of my things out of there. I was told by these unprofessional associates and their very RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE MANAGER, MRS. Q that they are not eligible to assist me any further, regarding my furniture. The Manager Eric is rude and should not be in customer service in any capacity. While in the store I overheard him talking negatively about a customer which was totally inappropriate and then when I needed to extend the use of the truck I had and called in to do so, he said well I dont care you need to return the truck immediately, son mind you Im a grown man in my late 40s. If at all possible avoid this location. If the manager is this bad his reports will follow suit.
