Delicious cheesecakes. The Oreo one unfortunately tasted like the cardboard box it came in, but thats the Oreos fault, not the bakery. Really excited to come back and try their fresh bagels! Its also very pricey.

Holy $h1t, this place is good. Was already in love with the cheesecake but just tried their Weekend Sammie for the first time yesterday. If you haven’t tried it yet, GO!! 100% worth it. I got it on a salt bagel and absolutely recommend it to a friend (or a stranger). The vibes there are upbeat and progressive, they’re a well-known queer space, and they sell books now (in addition to my personal fave, Dean’s Beans “Ahab’s Revenge”: a phenomenal, highly caffeinated brew worth taking home) making the entire experience worth finding parking for (which is always surprisingly easy for me on that strip of Highland.) I’ve been going here for a while for the award-winning cheesecake and never wrote a review but that weekend Sammie just brought it over the edge for me into must-review-territory. Can’t wait to try all of their sandwiches now! (Rumor on the street is they might be opening a second location, hoping it’s closer to me when they do!)

My boyfriend and I love this place! Sometimes we even get two bagels each... The bagels are delicious, the cheesecake is amazing, and the cold brew is spectacular. I love the assortment of cream cheeses (the herb is my favorite!). I would highly recommend checking this place out.My only complaint is that they dont give straws with your beverage unless you ask for one. It would be nice if they offered some alternatives to plastic straws (paper, reed, or pasta).

Bagels are delicious, cheesecake is worthy of your best or even silliest occasion - lemon with raspberry sauce as well as the mocha were phenomenal, sandwiches are satisfying, tasty, fresh, and quick, and the staff is hard working, attentive, and friendly! During this COVID chaos, 7Ate9 has been a staple for Highland ave, well-deserving of our continued patronage and support! We also buy our coffee beans (Deans Beans) from here, were introduced to superb local ice cream (Batch), and even bought whole wheat flour to try our hand at baking bread ourselves. After countless times visiting, the hot mulled cider got me to finally share my enthusiasm for this place - couldnt let all this goodness go unpunished. 🌞 Thank you 7Ate9 for all you do for us in Somerville!

A must visit!! The honey nut latte was incredible and made with love. I really enjoy the bagel and cheese cream, the best in town. I would assume the cheese cake is amazing too. The kindness wall was beautiful to read! Thank you, looking forward to returning!!

Love the cheesecake. Got my wife a classic cheesecake with almond ganache for her birthday and it was amazing. Everyone loved it. Also got mini almond ganache cheesecake for our 1 year wedding anniversary picnic.

Yesterday I walked in to pick up a cheesecake for a bday party brunch. I had no idea what to get but the staff was so nice and super helpful. I only needed enough for six people so they recommended mini cheese cakes or a couple smaller cheese cakes. I picked original, chocolate and lemon. I was skeptical about the lemon but they recommend fresh blueberries on that one and fresh strawberry sauce on the original cheesecake.The cheese cakes were a hit at brunch and I now have a new favorite one. Yup you guessed it lemon cheesecake with fresh blueberries!!Thank you to the 7ate9 team can’t wait to stop in for more.

Never fails to impress. Great ownership, great service, highest quality food. Only place I consistently buy cookies at 9 am to eat for the entire day. Try the breakfast biscuits. The very best.

They have some great bagels and cheesecake. Sometimes the bagels arent fresh so be careful as they arent made there and they have sold me day-old bagels without any disclosure. But when they are fresh, they are some of the best around.The service is almost unbelievably slow - even with only a couple people in line, I have waited more than 20 minutes for a simple order of a dozen bagels and cream cheese.

Amazing cheesecake. I dont visit often but when I do its a real treat. They serve a few different flavors including original, lemon, nutella, peanut butter. Also try their frozen cheesecake on a stick! All their cakes can be frozen so dont be scared to buy a lot!

The Bagelsaurus of Somerville. Well-baked bagels, flavorful cream cheese, the only suggestion I have is more savory choices (things like avocados and breakfast meats)

I havent had any of the desserts, but the coffee and bagels (omg the bagels) are really great. I also happen to buy our dog treats here! They sell Somerville bakery bread as well as Sit, Stay, Beg dog treats. Theyre very reasonable and our dog loves them. The staff is really nice and the manager (owner? Not sure which) is quick and friendly. Theres some street parking out front if you need it, too. They have a lot of sandwiches and such I havent tried, but its hard to stray from the classics.

Ive heard very good things about the cheesecakes here and I was not let down one bit.

The peanut butter cheesecake and cappuccino were tasty. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired as it is clearly another Somerville storefront for a mostly online business.
