Pizza arrived cold and lacking sauce. Toppings seemed to be good quality, but unfortunately they went light on toppings and some seemed to be raw. Crust was really chewy.Id say look for a different pizzaria.
Our company loves Oaths Pizza and its one of our go to favorites but today was the worst out of any delivery experience I encountered. I ordered $150 worth of pizza and there was a pizza box nested in another which resulted in a pizza sticking to the bottom of another box. When I called to inform the store, the manager immediately dismissed my complaint and said he personally made and packaged the pizzas. Even after I sent him pictures, he said that hes been working there for over a year and theres no way he couldve done that. In addition, he said that he we would need to go through HR to get a refund on a $13.50 pizza when we ordered 8 pizzas. He eventually agreed to the refund but he was not clear on when it would be processed. I didnt think I could ever experience such a poor response from this establishment let alone a manager! If there was a zero star option I would choose it!
2 stars because the pizza truly is good. (e.g Beyond meat + vegan cheese + roasted garlic on cauliflower crust) However, their logistics need work and it cant be helped when you never receive the pizza that you paid for.Case 1: Ordered a pizza for a work lunch, never arrived. Contacted customer support with no response. Co-workers tell me that they didnt have anything to eat that day because they expected the pizza. Same situation for me - ended up working the whole day before eating a proper meal (had snacks e.g chocolate but it felt quite unpleasant to only eat chocolate all day).Case 2 (picture attached): Ordered a whole pizza for the office (casual, not an official work event). Received a half pizza with the order slip sticking out of the box saying whole pizza (whole cauliflower crust) typed out.Case 3: Pizza boxes were delivered vertically and the pizzas were smushed at the bottom. We couldnt salvage the pizzas because the toppings had detached from the pizza and gotten stuck to the cardboard. When we tried to pull the toppings off cardboard came off with them.Update 5/21: Oath customer service gave me a free pizza coupon to try and make up for things, but it doesnt work (getting an error message) and theyve stopped responding. I was going to raise the rating but now Ive lowered it to 1 star.
Update: changing my 2-star to a 1-star review. I got charged the full amount and they did not issue a refund. I had to call several days later to see what was going on and they had no record that they owed me a refund, even though the clerk on the phone assured me it would be taken care of. The eventually refunded it, but I had to chase it down. Also, I emailed Leah as her comment asked because I like Oath and wanted to have a more in depth conversation. I got an automated response back with tips on how to check the status of my pizza order. Two weeks and Im still waiting for an actual reply from Leah or anyone.DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE! We have ordered three times from them on the past month or so and two of those three times theyve forgotten entire pizzas from the order. Trying to get someone on the phone is ridiculously hard because they use an automated phone system. When we finally got through there was a sorry cant do anything about it besides a refund. They use a service so they cant send another pizza out so you either dont have it or you have to drive down there to pick it up. We love Oath pizza but wont be using this location again.
The interior was fairly dirty with ants crawling on the table. The food was fairly uninspiring and nothing special.
People that came after me were served first, and were not online orders. Pretty sure they forgot about my order until they looked at me. For some reason they couldn’t put pineapple on a kids pizza.
I ordered a pizza in-person and proceeded to sit around waiting for more than an hour. When I asked for a refund, the staff refused. Instead, they just kept working on online orders. Obviously, the staff is overworked by the management and the system just keeps allowing online orders even when the staff is really backed up. This is the third time this has happened to me and now I’m finally writing a review because this is unacceptable. Do not order from this restaurant for the sake of your own time, to support the overworked staff, and because this restaurant’s management needs a wake-up call
Ordered take out through the online platform. The pizza is pretty unimpressive. It seems to have been slapped together without any care or attention. If you’re looking for a good oath pizza, order from The Harvard Sq location.
I had the mother clucker and it was SOOOO GOOD!!! Great service and prices overall
I love their crust! And also those pizza toppings..... are delicious. The fact that they use certified humane toopings sich as rom Niman Ranch, a trusted brand doing great things for family farmers and animal welfare, make it all the better. Order the Whole Hog pizza for a complete meal with plenty to take home...
Mother clucker is a must try! Service was fast and pretty cheap for two!
$25 for a cold one-topping pizza that wasnt even sliced fully (not incl. driver tip and delivery fee). Had to use a knife on it and heat it in the oven. Stay away
If you have a conventional oven at your home or a non stick pan - ORDER NOWWW - if you planning to order online and deliver at your home - go for it - you just need to reheat for 3 minutes until the cheese bubbles and then its crazy and awesomeWill highly recommend truffle mushroom pizzaKudos to this outlet - gave me 2 personal pizza instead of 1 large as they were out of large pizzaThank you!
App said 20 minutes, but they were so backed up it took over an hour so I had to go somewhere else and bail on my order. It felt unfair to the staff to only have one person working. They had to turn walk ins away cause it would take too long.Would recommend reading recent reviews before ordering here.
Got the Crabby ole baystard pizza which is amusing to me as a Marylander. It was a tad bit too salty but the combination of tartar sauce and Old Bay was interesting! Definitely would suggest sharing a large pie with a friend versus having it to yourself. The cashier was super friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Would be interested in coming back and exploring other things on their menu.
Unacceptable. I ordered a large pizza. I got one message saying the order was delayed. Pizza got here and was cold and a small pizza with a note in magic marker on the box simply saying We ran out of Large crust. That was it.First time customer. I will not be returning to order again.
I used to be a big fan of this place when it first opened. I’ve been maybe 15 times and it’s progressively gone downhill. My wife is allergic to wheat and always orders the gluten-free crust. At least three times we’ve gotten home to find that they made her pizza in regular crust even though we always make a point to mention it twice when placing an order. I understand that this can slip through the cracks since they are used to making pizza on regular crust most of the day and probably not that many people order the gluten-free. Still though, when you mention it’s an allergy over the phone and say it twice...The bigger issue I have is that they completely skimp on ingredients in an AMAZING way. I can’t believe they even call this pizza! It’s basically cooked bread with a few pieces of cheese and as few ingredients as they can get away with. Seems like they are all about cost cutting. Here’s a pic of the bbq pork pizza I got yesterday for reference. Aside from the fact that there are like two tiny shreds of pork on this thing, they also forgot the bbq sauce on bbq pizza, lol. I gave them as many chances I could, but I’m finally done with this place.
This place is amazing. Food is tasty. Specially Sean is great guy.
Ok I was really curios at first when me and my sister saw this restaurant and when we ate those pizza I was fascinated the quality of the food tasted amazing. We come here some times to eat pizza and it tastes really good and I recommend you guys!! Customer services also was really nice
The crust is amazing. Its buttery, salty, and crispy and youll be craving it after youve tried it. I like how customizable the pizzas are and the sheer variety of toppings offered. And if those two things havent sold you on it, the service is unbelievably fast. The pizza takes less than 15 mins from the time its prepared to when its fully cooked and ready to serve. Would highly recommend.
I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered delivery from here on September 1st at around 2:45pm. My order was cancelled by the restaurant at 3:45pm when it was set to arrive at my home at 4pm. Frustrating, but what is more frustrating is that I was still charged for an order I never received. I have called and emailed multiple times and never gotten a response nor a refund. It is now the 10th, and honestly, I feel like this is a sunk cost. Would love to get my refund still, but I definitely do not recommend anyone taking the risk of ordering from here as they take your money and do not provide the service.
Awesome pizza, always fresh out of the oven, super crunchy. Good and flavorful vegetarian options are available. Also, they offer customizing other non-vegetarian pizza options for vegetarians. The staff is polite and friendly. I always love coming back to this place.
This is our favorite pizza! I love the cauliflower crust. It is so delicious!
More like thin fried dough. Half of the pizza was crust. Watery, cold marinara sauce made me feel lonely inside without a chance for a hug. I wis I had.invested the money in Tesla...
I like Oath pizza quite a lot. Ive been there a couple of times now, I cant remember what I had the first time but I had the David last time and it was quite delicious. The people are nice, the food is good, the interior is very nice, and the location is very convenient if youre stopping by Davis square. All in all, I would recommend it. The bathroom was very clean too.
BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!! I have been here with each of my family members one at a time and I have won them over!!! After the visit they agree....BEST PIZZA EVER!!! and it doesnt matter what you get, that is the glory of it! I get something different each time I go and it is phenomenal each and every time...and everyone I take agrees at first bite! ;) And the people are super cool that work there! the place is always clean and nice and the pop!! WOW! We love this place! If I could, I would give it more stars!
The crust is so good you need you try out. I also like that I can pick unlimited toppings! The price is also very reasonable! :-)
Excellent pizza. Our new favorite... though please consider adding back brie and figs on your menu. They are shockingly delicious on pizza.
Really good tasting pizza! The toppings were fresh, the flavors were amazing, and the pizza looked as good as it tasted! They have some funny names for their pizzas but building your own pizza would probably be your best bet!The place itself could have been cleaner, but that wont stop me from going here again.
Ordered 2 pizzas, when delivered I got a bag with only one pizza and 2 receipts one for each pizza I ordered. The one pizza I did get was over cooked. My first order from this place and it was absolutely terrible and rushed.
Fast-casual pizza chain in the heart of Davis Square. The pizza is good, but whats really great is the special oven used to bake the (partially cooked) crust. This makes for a convenient spot for work lunches and late-night takeout. They also have a couple of beers on draft, if youre not on the job!
Unlimited toppings is the reason why you should come here. A $15 personal pizza sounds pricy, but once you ask them to add all of the proteins, it quickly becomes a great experience. I personally wouldnt come here just to order a cheese pizza, but hey, you do you.
Tasty pizza!! I love the fact they have veggie meat options i.e. beyond meat! Pizza is a bit small for the price but it’s good and meat-free so I didn’t mind paying a bit more. Great service too when I was there!
Walked into Oath not knowing what I wanted to eat. After a few minutes of staring at the menu, it struck me. I needed to order a pizza and cheesy garlic sticks. Not only did I walk out with a great meal but a new friend.
I go here several times throughout the school year and the pizza is just as delicious every single time! Usually quick service in my experience, not much else to say! Really love this place.
Oath made me a delicious gluten free pizza with out cross contamination. I had the fig, brie and bacon. It was delicious.
Oath offers specialty pizzas made to order in under 90 seconds. They have a huge array of toppings, including some adventurous ones I havent seen elsewhere. The crust may not be for everyone- its thin and crispy, essentially a fried cracker. Great addition to Davis sq, and a big change from the sewing machine store that was in the space previously.
Its a very nice place. I dont live around Somerville so was a nice surprise, this town has a lot of great places, this is one. Great people working here. I was very surprised by the soda flavors. I am that kind of person always mix the soda flavors, here its more fun!!! The pizza itself is good. I am not the biggest fan of a thin crust, so I didnt enjoy that part because for me its to thing, but the ingredients are good and the flavor is great!!
A bit expensive considering the size of the pizzas they serve but it is delicious and the environment inside is attractive and has that homey vibe
Excellent pizza! Very different from what is becoming the typical fast casual pizza experience. The toppings are high quality and not overwhelming, the signature pizzas are interesting and delicious, and the crust (which I would describe as almost fried dough like) is out of this world!
Great service. Pizzas cook really quicklyand were delicious. I wish they had delivery service. The pizzas look like they would be too small to fill you up but actually the sizes are perfect. We felt just full enough. The crust is amazing!! And the pizza menu selection is really great or craft your own. Really love this place.
Thee pizzas here are individual sized, the toppings are both traditional or creative (whatever your tastes are) and the crust- oh my goodness the this crust they use is the best. THE BEST! This place is fantastic for a quick light meal. I have never been disappointed here (though once I was *really* hungry and almost bought another pizza).
For fast food, its not half bad pizza. The young people working there are great as well.
Ordered for the first time via Postmates, had issues with the driver (at no fault of the restaurant) but they remade the order for me free of charge
Great pizza. I like that they have a little station for oregano and other things. Its quick and tasty.
Thanks to the smart order taker, I got my half pizza with a half order side dish without asking! Very empathetic and diligent!
Great pizza spot for a quick bite to eat. Service is good, food is on point and price is reasonable. Its a chain, but feels like a local spot
Oaths made-to-order half-pizzas are a perfect size, and their gluten-free crust is fantastic. They offer a really nice variety of toppings, including some delectable, savory bases and drizzles (think truffle spread, balsamic, sriracha, or pesto). Delicious!
Oath has an interesting pizza crusty, which is thin and airy but super crunchy. It almost feels like a fried dough. The restaurant can come off as a bit hipster/pretentious for my taste, but the pizza itself is good. The dessert cookie pizza was very indulgent but very good. Ill come back to try more flavors, but this doesnt seem like an everyday neighborhood pizza place - especially for the price.
Getting pizza made to order so fast is pure magic. Add in the crispy crust, fresh toppings, and the vegan cheese option, and Im in fast-food heaven. My only request would be for a vegan sausage or other veggie protein topping option.(Its also the first place in a long time to make me want to indulge in a soft drink.)
The pizza is OK, they have the crusts already prepared and then add the toppings. The menu and layout of the place doesnt make a lot of sense either. They do have a selection of house made sodas, which is a nice addition. I might go back again just to try out their drinks.
Had the Muffled Trushroom and Bella pizzas, both were delicious, and my partner adores the beer selection. The staff were very friendly, quick, and accommodating, and I enjoy the decor as well. Oath also has a good niche pop selection if you like variety in your soda. Take mind if youre planning to eat in, as I could see it getting quite busy on weekends as the seating is not limited but is spacious nonetheless.
Pizza tasted good, but $11.00 for a small pizza not sure Id buy it again. All 4 of us rate it 3. 2 of us used the restroom, unfortunately it smelled, needed an neutralizer for odor control and hands free stuff.
The crust is so good! It is thin under the toppings and thick at the edge. I usually get the Walley, which is classic and good hot or cold (leftover). The size is great too- you can get a half (3 slices) or whole depending on how ravenous you are.
Oath pizza has small but tasty portions. The food isnt amazing and its definitely overpriced, but the atmosphere is lovely, and the soda is absolutely to die for. It can be worth an interesting meal, as lots of care is put into it.
My favorite pizza place in Cambridge / Somerville area. Unlimited toppings for $11 and they have a vegetarian meatball option. I love this place so much !
The food here is enormous. It makes my jaw tingle with feelIng of pain. My 7 year old daughter loves the food here, but that just probably means your foods caters to overweight children. But the pizza is very cheap so thats a plusBest of luck,Gerald
The pizzas are delicious and come out fast. They arent the thick crust style pizza so they cook quickly. The soda fountain is also delicious. The Cherry soda is a personal favorite.
Only one person working, super mad doing pizza and taking care on costumers. Long wait, no communication at all
I love this place! Vegan friendly and good options for everyone. The pizzaz are yummy and crispy!
I love Oath! You get an amazing pizza in about 90 seconds AND they serve Night Shift Brewery beers.PRO TIP: Any time is a good time.
Quite good. Quick and tasty...like in Italy. My wife liked getting a half a gluten free pizza.
It certainly may have been a bad batch, but the pizza was so thin that it was more of a crepe than thin pizza. The atmosphere is pretty good, as is the taste.Certainly worth a try, but a hard sell for repeat visits due to availability of great alternatives in the area.
Amazing pizza! It is a tad on the pricey end but it is worth it. Nice yummy crunchy crust.
I have been here a couple of times. The pizza is delicious and they have some good options. The flavors remind me a bit those of Figs (in Charles Street in Boston) without too much oil and not as crunchy (so thats a compliment). Theres little space for seating though and it is obviously more like a fast food restaurant to grab something quick and go.
Good pizza. problem is that its not a place for people who dont eat pork. Chicken and pork are the only meats they offer.
We walked in and didnt really know how to order. The staff was very patient and helpful. The pizza came out fast and was delicious. Gary approved. And if there is one thing Im snobby about it is pizza. Thank you Oath and the guys working in the Davis Square shop!
The base of the pizza is really different and good. Loved their suggested pizzas as well, even though I usually go for Build your own pizzas. Good staff.
Just okDifferentI wont go back
There has been a lot of talk surrounding Oaths new location in Davis. Ive gone a couple times over the last few weeks, and have enjoyed all of my meals there.True to their specialty, their pizzas are certainly made quick--except when the restaurant gets backed up. This also holds true to their salad bar. I noticed on one occasion my half finished salad sitting on the counter for a bit while employees helped with other dishes that were piling up. A little annoying, but understandable.Thats not at all to say that Oath isnt great. Their salads are delicious and cheaper than other nearby alternatives, and their pizzas are flexible to the point that you can order different toppings on each half (not everyone realizes this!)They serve various non standard soft drinks. I had ginger beer earlier today and I believe a crazy good black cherry drink last week. A nice change of pace from the usual Coke/Pepsi thing. All in all, I really like oath, its a welcome addition to the Davis square area and I will certainly be going back.
Porky Fig was absolutely yummy, and I will be going back for more one of these days.
This place was exactly what I was looking for for a nice but not super fancy lunch. The pizza was just how I like it, thin crusted and not too greasy. There was decent wine and beer as well, and it was not too pricey!
Good veiw of the square. Staff is friendly. Pizza is amazing. The different style is a good addition to already popular Greek style. Jealous of their oven.
Oath craft has some unique flavors. I love the spicy mother clucker. Most quick pizza is reheated slices. I love how this is made fresh to order fast. The crust is not the greatest and its a little pricey. But the flavors are well worth it!
Love this place! Their pizza is addicting. I love that their crust is so crispy.
Very friendly, decent pizza. Prices are a little on the high side, but they have a creative menu. My only complaint is that the crust is basically the like a croissant so its not for me but I can see how some people would like it
I want to love this place. But Im always underwhelmed. But hey they do gluten free pizza. 😁
Ive never been able to find pizza like this. Its the crust: basically frybread in pizza form. Its probably killing me slowly, but Ill die happy.Their variety of flavors here changes up on a regular basis, so its always worth stopping by and checking out whats new. Im sad I no longer live in the area so cant avail myself of the tastiness.
Crust is great and toppings are unlimited and customizable for the same price.
Delicious individual pizzas, pineapple cream soda, and great service. I love oath.
Ordered for delivery: Gluten free pizza not labeled
Good semi-fast pizza made to order. Only wish they had a 2/3 size pizza.
A GREAT place! Build you own craft type pizza, unique soda bar, and good atmosphere. I will definitely be goong back!
This place has some of the most innovative and delicious food I have ever tried. For $11 you can get an 11 inch pizza (the only size) with any toppings you want at no extra charge. Honestly, my favorite part of their pizza is the crust, it is reminiscent of a carnival fried dough, but savory and with umami notes from the avocado oil. The toppings are all excellent, I recommend the roasted garlic -- it is unexplainably good, and you really cant go wrong with their craft fountain soda from Stubborn Soda. All in all, this is a truly phenomenal place!
Fabulous pizza, plus they had vegan / dairy free cheese which is a rare find at restaurants! Also have really nice soda options! Very happy!
So good! Pizza in 90 seconds worth some awesome flavors. Why though did you need to offer salad?? Should have done something more creative.
Overpriced - a MOD Pizza full size is only a dollar more than Oaths half size!! But when they have it, the Mr. Crunch pizza (which costs even more than a regular pizza...) is delicious
Their gimmick is that the pizza is relatively cheap and comes out very quickly. I went after they opened and received a pizza without much sauce and each topping covering maybe 1/2 the pizza. Wasnt impressed then, but will eventually go back to see if it was just startup-blues.
Tasty, fresh and reasonable pizzas... Wisher there were branches in South shore.
