I have a hard time giving this place 1 star. Dropped my truck off on Monday and they stroked the dog all week to give me an estimate to replace injectors. 2000 to change 1 and 6500 to do 6? - highway robbery! The injectors average cost for this engine is around 270, thats 1620 for 6. How can any shop justify almost 5000 labor for injector replacement? The last time I had injectors done on this truck the bill was 3600 for the entire job doing all 6 a few years ago. International quoted me the same price of 3600 on Friday.Sorry guys- trying to rob owner operators will get you less business. I cant recommend this shop to anyone and Ill be getting the word out to the rest of our drivers to stay away from your shop.

Had a great experience with the guys here.... My hubby was down in Kentucky trying to get into a shop there but they were unable to see him so we decided to just come to our local shop and have him stay at the house while they worked in the shop. Lucky for us, the guys here squeezed us in!! Really nice guys to deal with and this was our first time using them as we have just moved into the area.... have since used them again and have found them to be really professional, easy to deal with and they really try to get you in and out if they can fix the problem quickly!! Ryan and Jon are awesome!!! Thanks for taking care of our truck!!!

Ive been dealing with this shop for the last 17yrs, one of the best Ive dealt with from a national level. They are professional and friendly. Service Mgr Ryan is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Theyve always done their best to get me done in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

I own my own truck.When I have a engine problem,Whitford KENWORTH, in South Bend,Ind.is the only place I take my truck.They may be backed up with other trucks,but,you cant beat their quality of work.No guess work.They know what their doing...

These guys are great! I broke down and they got me in right away and even though it was a nightmare to diagnose the problem, these guys kept me in the loop the entire way. I gave one star because there is no option for zero star. I do not recommend because they don’t know what they are doing . Take my truck to them after I had accident, they fix the body before they check the engine and finally say engine is not working and they let me pay more than 10 grand and the truck goes to salvage. They just fix the body for money and put me to bankruptcyI gave my insurance 5 stare they pay the truckAll I know from you, you did not fix the truck what you suppose to doYou let me sign more than 10 grand to fix the truck and pay by my insurance but you did not

They did a great job fixing my semi had to have a brand new wiring harness installed on the tractor cuz the other one that failed it was bad apparently from the manufacturer when I got the truck anyway happens your mom to get something bad somewhere along the line bad wire. Service was great diagnosing solving the problems yes its a great place to bring your truck if you have a Kenworth and they probably can work on other trucks to Im sure that they do they got a variety of them here that are waiting to be fixed.

They have most parts u need bout I have older truck so understand that... dont have it they get it next day the guys at parts do a good job to call you back when needed thanks

Had a water leak, took truck in on a Saturday they told me had to order line waited 4 days for a simple line then they say they ordered wrong line, then proceeded to fox old line just needed black hose and clamps waited another day for truck to be done. They held up my truck all week for 2 hrs worth of work at most then gave me a bill over 1600.00 just insane, I have been in business for 30 yrs and never such dum asses, work on my truck, then charge me well over 1000 more then it should have been, 1200 in labor, for them to mess things up wow

I agree 100% with the previous two reviewers. Our business is based out of Florida and we just drove there empty to have an engine rebuilt. This is the only shop we have found that accurately diagnoses, repairs and cleans up as promised. They are very fair and honest and actually quote repair times that are reasonable and have been met every time weve been in. Im sure the fact that we will drive 1200 miles empty, speaks volumes, but the fact that Im willing to spend a week in a hotel rather than have someone closer to home do it, should say it all! I did have a general idea of what an engine rebuild would cost, but I did not even consider calling around for quotes. Ill sleep better knowing the job was job right rather than if I got the best price. Big or small repairs - this is a place you can trust to get you back on the road.

My name is Mike Kimbrell with Profleet and I had a very positive experience with WHITEFORD-KENWORTH in South Bend. Ive been an over the road driver for more than 20 years, but with in a few days of buying a new truck, I experienced a major mechanical problem that shut me down.No miles, of course, means no income. The staff at WHITEFORD could not have been more understanding of my situation. Although the shop was full of trucks,they told me that they could get me back on the road in a day and a half. Next morning mechanics were busy working on my truck when I arrived. By 9:00 AM my truck was fixed, a full day earlier than they said it would be completed.Its rare to encounter folks who care about a customers problem like I experienced at this shop. In particular Ryan Carr, the Service Manager, was the person who understood my situation and worked with his mechanics to get me back on the road. Ill give them my business in the future, theyve earned it.

Have fun getting older Ford parts not doing so well this week. Had to go to Gurley leep. Im not going to give up yet.

They have poor people skills. I came in yesterday early afternoon and was promptly entered into the system, but because they are so busy it took the rest of the afternoon to diagnose the problem. Problem is before day shift went home, they knew they couldnt fix it until the next day, and nothing was said to me. Not until late in the evening, when I asked, did I find out I was spending the night. And then the next day, not one thing was done with my truck until I showed up from the hotel.

They cant fix a truck I have had same truck their three times in one week for derate problem second time it was their they said it was air filter truck didnt last even 24 hr before derate code came back now I have to wate days before they look at it again even though it was just in and they didnt fix it

They will steal your money I work dere I was fried cause I was the only black man there body shop cool they are fair in body shop they order all they parts from Weller and Kat and Cummins they charge customer. A 20 freight fee when they paid 7 dollars Bill K steals a lot of they parts from them in they charge other companies accounts twice watch them they are snakes

I went to the kenworth dealership and did a pm they over charged me a 1000 dollars for a pm. Took to speedco found out they did not put fulk synthetic or any special filters i required. They will steal your money the only thing worth your time is the body shop. Dont take your truck there. Stay away.
