Went to CPR to have my husbands cell phone screen replaced. I called first and was told that they could repair the screen the same day. Representative at the store was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was told it would take around 1 1/2 hours to complete, at it was. I also purchased screen protector for both our phones, at a good value, and was told if I need to ever replace it, it would only be $5. Id go there not only to get my phone repaired, but knowing you can get great deals on accessories.

Was recommended to go here by AT&T across the hall from them. My new iPad needed to be cleared for a proper first boot up. Spoke to Trevor at CPR. He needed an hour+ and said hed have it ready. We went and had lunch at the food court and came back. It was ready and he said he just had to plug it in and run a program. No charge. Come see me when you need something or send me a customer. So friendly, helpful, and got me set to go back to AT&T for my set-up. I highly recommend such a reputable business.

CPR is a great place to get your damaged devices repaired! The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, quick to complete your repairs, and always do great work. Plus they give you a warranty on your replacement parts. It’s nice to know that they stand behind thei parts they put on your device. Prices are reasonable and the wait time has never been more than an hour or so. Awesome place for repairs on your devices!!

I have used CPR to fix my screens on my iPhones many many times before, always a Pleasant experience.. The guy who works there named Chris couldn’t be nicer, He’s a wonderful employee and made my experience wonderful!

WARNING - If you want your phone destroyed by their poor workmanship then this place is for you. Brought in my iphone X that has been through creeks, mud and rainstorms for 3 years with no issues whatsoever. Had them look at it due to a fading screen backlight. They said it needed a new screen, took my money and handed it back to me an hour later with nothing more said. They did not tell me they completely destroyed the water seal on the phone. One very minor splash of water a week later the phone went dead. They would not stand behind their work and extorted another $200 out of me to dry the phone out and put yet another screen on. That repair did not work and they did not refund my money and I was left with a broken phone and now out over $400. Also I got plenty of bad attitude from the store manager that could careless they destroyed my phone.

Was heartbroken when I somehow cracked the camera glass on my brand new Note 20, but thanks to CPR that was quickly fixed. Glass had to be ordered but only took a day or so. Good customer service and prompt repair - hopefully I dont break anything else but will use this company again if I do!

I went to CPR twice. The first time I went, I gave them my IPad mini because the screen was shattered. It costed $100. When I got it the home button wouldn’t work. We went there and asked them to fix it, but they wanted more money.The second time I went was because my IPhone X’s screen stopped working, so I went there and got it fixed for $200. When I got it and went home, I couldn’t connect to WI FI. So I went there the day after and they said it looked normal to him, but he can get someone else to look at it, but it would be another $200. I said no because he was trying to scam us.I will never repeat it ever again. They are just a bunch of scammers.

Super helpful folks, very professional. They got my note8 up and running in about 2 hours. Worth the money I spent to salvage my current phone. Sadly Samsung is still a trash company and their moisture detected system warnings kept coming until I updated. Now things seem to be calming, maybe 2020 isnt a total dumpster fire after all.

I went in with a dead battery on my Iphone 6SE. Less then 15 minutes phone was fixed and running like new. The Tech explained to me this was a old phone and probably should be replaced. I agreed but decided to replace the battery anyways. So far its working better then ever. They also gave me a refund of 10.00 because I went online and made appointment!Thanks Again!

I had a band stuck on my Apple Watch — I mean, it was COMPLETELY jammed. I came here and they told me they would do whatever they can. About 10 minutes later, they got it out. Best part, they were friendly throughout the process and offered NO charge! Highly recommend if you’re looking to fix an cosmetic (outside) issue with your device.

I am truly very pleased and so glad I took my new Google Pixel 2 cell phone in. I inadvertently lost a lose SIM card in the phones SIM slot with no way to get it out. I was informed they would need to remove the screen, and that was scary. A couple of hours later, they called and said my cell phone was ready. It was very much still intact and could not tell the screen had ever been removed. Showed coworkers and they were amazed. They said it look great and couldnt tell it had been worked. THUMBS UP !!!!!! Oh, and it was quite inexpensive!!!!

It wouldve been a 5 star review if the wait time in line hasnt been so excessive. The service was overall great. Very kind employees, clean establishment, quick repair time.. My daughter shattered her iPhone 8 plus on a rollercoaster ride, and in less than 2 hours they had it completely repaired and looking brand new again. I will say the price for that is just a little steep at $140 before tax, but it all comes down to weighing the value of your phone and figuring out if your better off having it repaired or replacing it all together. In my case it was worth it to pay the fee to have it repaired. Plus the look on my daughters face when I handed her her phone was priceless. Definitely recommend.

Just checked on a screen for a phone

I took my 5 mos old iPad in to have the screen repaired. (My son leaned on it with his elbow and cracked it.). The shop appears to have done a nice job replacing the screen. My 1 star rating is because they damaged the iPad’s shell when they were repairing the screen but insisted it came into the shop that way. Two employees met me at the counter when I picked up the iPad. The one who repaired the screen said he saw the damage before he even touched the screen. He repeated multiple times that he didn’t know how that kind of damage could even happen and said that it looked like it had been bent. But for the screen, the iPad was in excellent condition when I took it into the shop. It had been kept in a sturdy protective case and had no scratches or defects.Edit to reply to store response - the iPad was taken into your store without its case. There were no “hidden” defects as you suggest in your response. The damage did not exist at the time I dropped off fb the iPad. Given the proximity of the damage to the screen and your employees’ defensive nature when I picked up the iPad, I would suggest that the damage occurred when your employees were removing the screen. I just wish that your store had been honest with its mistake instead of attacking me and suggesting the damage was there when I dropped off the iPad. I have not even asked for anything for the damage. I’m well aware that this is merely a he said-she said situation. I just thought potential customers should be aware of this situation and document the condition of their devices at drop off. I also note that a similar review was posted a day before my review by a gentleman with a cell phone that was returned with a broken camera.

TL;DR Made my phone worse, only refunded part of my money.I took my Moto Z in for a battery replacement. Before I took the phone in my old battery would hold an 85% charge (and had done so for over a month). They had to order a battery, so I waited to take it in. When I got it back, it refused to charge and once the little charge the new battery had was gone, I could only use it when plugged up. I took it back and they blamed a defective replacement battery and said they could order another one and try it. It didnt fix the problem, so they tried a few other things, but nothing fixed the NEW problem. So, when I asked the manager if he could do anything for me, he made up some excuse about how my phone just naturally got worse. For over a month, I had a consistent issue and the hour and a half it was at CPR, the problem just became a lot worse on its own, must be a huge coincidence! After asking if he could at least refund the battery cost, he agreed, after adding on a restocking fee of course. Now that I have my phone back and a replacement phone on order, Im noticing that my screen is having issues too and that was NEVER an issue before I took it to CPR.Bottom line: If you have an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, they might be able to help. But, if you have any other number of lesser known Androids, they might mess something up.

Went in and had an iphone X repaired. The employees done a wonderful job all of them were very kind a courteous. I was very happy with the service and I love the lifetime warranty on my screen so I can leave the store with confidence know that whatever happens on their end I will be covered... not many places offer a warranty like that!

Ive made 4 trips there. Every time there is someone different. No one knows what the other is doing. You pay for everything, even though you bought the product there less than 2 weeks prior.Ill never do business there again.

This place is horrible. I only gave them one star because Google wouldnt let me review without giving them at least one. I paid $75.00 to have a battery switched in my Moto Z. I received a call from the repairman advising that there was a possibility they could break the screen and that if the did so, it wouldnt be covered. The repairman said he had worked on those phones before without any issues. Of course, he broke the screen when he changed the battery. At first they wanted to charge me over $170 for a new screen. When I told him that I didnt think they should profit from the mistake, they offered to sell me the screen for $148.00, which according to him was their cost. I went out of service during this call and didnt get back in service until after they were closed. I ordered a screen from Amazon for $130.00. I took the screen in and the manager told me they had ordered a screen. I told him that I did not tell them to. He took my screen and put it on the phone. I picked the phone up and everything seemed fine. I plugged the phone into the charger and it came on. However, later that day I realized the on/off and volume buttons no longer worked on the phone. When I contacted the store about the issue, they said that the issue was caused by a defective screen and that it wasnt their screen so they wouldnt warranty it. He did not tell me that if there were any issues they wouldnt be covered when I gave him the screen. Now I have over $200 in the phone and it still doesnt work and they wont fix it. BEWARE this place is a SCAM!!!!

This place is a total rip-off. I went in to have my screen repaired, and the general manager was rude the first, second, and third time I went. I was informed the first time that they couldnt get the screen to my phone and I would have to order the part myself. So, I did and brought my phone in when I received it. I left it with them paying the steep 55 dollar labor fee, and returned an hour later to a still broken phone. They told me they took my phone apart and the part was wrong even though I got the exact thing they told me to get upon my first visit there.They then told me that they were not going to refund me the money. Even though they did absolutely nothing. I doubt they even took my phone apart considering there was still dirt in the cracks where they should have taken it apart at, and I very rarely take my phone out of its case. 55 dollars for an hours worth of them doing nothing, but be rude to their customers is highway robbery. I dont recommend that store at all. There is another cell phone repair store in the Charleston Mall with much nicer workers that are very helpful and upfront with you.

I contacted local CPR about an urgent repair request for my iPhone 4S. I dropped and broke glass screen. They found parts for the repair and had me back up and running in an hour and a half.I am disabled and need phone to stay in contact with family and doctors.Great service and very friendly and helpful staff.Took a business card so i can recommend to family and friends.

The man answering the phone is very mean and when I ask a question about my phone he laughed. The screen they put on was cheap not good I would not recommend anyone to use there service !!!!

I took my iPad in to get a new charging port put in and to have it reset. It wasnt working. Was just showing Apple then shutting off. Tate was the one I spoke with at the counter. Very knowledgeable. I went in looking for a case and a tempered glass screen protector. I purchase the zagg screen protector after I found out about the lifetime warranty that’s included with it. I also purchased the UAG Monarch case. Blake Runyon really helped me out with finding the case and glass that really suited my needs. Justin and Tate were also very helpful and informative.

Happy they could fix my screen and LCD. While i’m sure it was a difficult fix as my phone was completely fried, upon return of my phone my batter seems to charge slower, my front camera no longer works, and my touch id also does not work. I’m very unhappy about it with the price paid to fix my phone only to get it back with more problems.

Fast service but pricey

Dont go here your life will be ruined. They put chips in your phone and then stalk u for like 6 weeks straight. After that theyll try to get other people to break your phone so youll go there and pay 245$ for them to fix your phone. They also shot my damn duck. I saw it with my own eyes. This is all true by the way.

This place is a joke. I have gotten two screens repaired here on my IPhone and both times they have messed my phone up. I thought it was a mistake the first time, but after them messing my phone up for a second time, I will never go back. I even took it back after I realized my coloring was messed up and they just said it must be my phone, even though it wasn’t like this before I brought it to them. Go anywhere else besides here!

This place is a rip off. Took my phone in the first of October to have the screen replaced. They made me pay up front, which is kinda odd. So, he tells me about the warranty and says it will be about an hour. So, I come back and he tells me they cant do the warranty because there was water damage. The thing has never been near water. So, I left. Three weeks later there is a bunch of lines on the screen. I take it up there, and he said the screen was cracked. No it wasnt. So, I filed a complaint with the FTC. Also, the attorney general. Id advise everyone to do the same.

Third time Ive used CPR South Charleston to replace cracked iPhone. As usual they had it fixed in an hour. Theyre really the best.

Broke my phone twice, manager lied directly to me! Avoid at all costs! Brought my Pixel 1 in to have the battery replaced and they broke my screen and when I picked up my broken phone they tried to get me to sign a paper releasing them from liability. After 3 days of trying to get in contact with them, a manager called me saying I had to pay for the broken screen saying that he had a liability release paper I signed right in front of him (lie). After he realized I didnt sign one he offered to replace my screen for free. When I picked it up the second time, I could not hear or speak through my phone except through Bluetooth. I will not take it back to have this fixed or any other issue in the future.

The man who worked at the store was not friendly on the phone. They put a weak screen in and it doesn’t last it is junk! I don’t recommend this store to do anything phone related. Buyer beware!
