Spent $17,000 there on rebuild engine and a FEW other things. The company they used was GARBAGE at rebuilding. They (Folbeck) fixed some oil leaks. But on another said the engine was sweating... people sweat NOT engines. For $17,000 should be NO leaks and satisfied customer... I could have spent that $ for paying off half of a NEW truck. Did business with them for over 20 years...NEVER again.

I took my jeep here for a four wheel alignment. They did excellent work. My jeep drives better than ever before.

I was here at the beginning of June. It was my first time. I had just called to complain about a noise and inquire when they had time to look at it. When I described the noise, he told me to come in immediately to have someone there listen. I went in the next morning at opening time, someone jumped right in my car to drive around, they diagnosed the problem within twenty minutes! And this place was busy, phone ringing, people coming in the front door. But Donny seemed very concerned about my safety out there on the road. Because whatever was wrong with my car was dangerous, he somehow worked me into the schedule. The noise is gone, my car works great! I will definitely be coming here for my next car thing. This is a team of experts.

This was such a bummer because we got our suspension installed here after being referred by a friend. After driving the truck for a month we felt it was too rough and something was odd about it. We ended up figuring out that they installed the sway bars wrong.. We fixed it ourselves after talking with experts at Thuren Fabrication. Honestly we did not go back to this place to even tell them the issue. We are extremely busy. We chose this place because we wanted our money to go to local business. I wish they would double check the work because this could have honestly been just one employee who messed up. Anyway it wasn’t cheap to have them install it and we aren’t looking for a refund we just want them to be aware and others as well. If your suspension seems wrong get a second opinion because it might be.

Brought in a beat up CJ7 for a 360 inspection. These guys tuned it up and has been running great for months now. This is the place to take your old Jeep in.

I have an 03 Tahoe, they installed a 6 Rough Country lift on it and replaced some worn out steering components and repaired my transfer case along the way. They had my Tahoe for 2 days and were constantly calling me to keep me updated . The customer service is top notch as well as the workmanship. These guys are the best.

I had death wobble on my TJ and they just put a heavier steering stabilizer on. That’s not the answer for death wobble, which is usually the trackbar, tie-rod/ends, ball joints or wheel bearings. So still had death wobble after paying > $500. These folks should know the ins and outs of a very common Jeep problem like that. Look anywhere about this problem and a steering stabilizer is not the answer — that’s an answer for steering bump, not death wobble.

Which is hard to find nowadays. We had a few mishaps with the installation that were on my behalf, Donny was more than understanding and was willing to work with me to problem solve. Very honest good quality work

I was harvested by RJ. charged for NEW only to find my parts were remanufactured. Steering rack was leaking so him, they told me i needed a new one yet still did an alignment then charged me another alignment 2 weeks later. Then didnt install bushings properly. Harvested.. Avoid these consumer terrorists with their rhetoric and keyboard weaponry.

I told them what was wrong with my car and they couldnt give me an estimate or diagnosis after having my car an entire day. They were polite, no complaints about customer service.

These guys know theyre stuff. Quality service thats accompanied with knowledgeable staff who takes the time to explain in relatable terms. They also do alignments on lifted vehicles which was my main reason for going to them. Highly recommended.

He has always had my best interest at heart and has given me a square deal on all mine and my childrens vehicles.In that time I can only say I had one issue....and in the matter of fair reporting I am going to share it...One time, one of the mechanics didnt reset the clock on my Jeep Grand Cherokee...So you decide 15 years, 8 vehicles ranging in age from 1989-2007 with 20,000 to 200,00 mi on them, them being my only mechanic so 10+ visits a years and the worst experience is a clock setting.Doesnt get any better than this

It could be said that I have more cars than what is practical, my philosophy is if you have enough pieces of junk sitting around, something will always start.That gives me the opportunity to be in need of a knowledgeable, fair mechanic. One that I could trust. Folbecks is just that.I actually look forward to dealing with the guys there. Theyve talked me out of stupid ideas that saved me big dollars. They once paid for a tow after they worked on my car, thinking something had went wrong with their service, (I did, too). Turned out it was a non-related part, but they still paid for the tow even when I offered to reimburse them. They have a great sense of humor, and can not only take it but give it back with great expertise. Engage in this at your own peril. They actually had the audacity to suggest my ratty 1973 International pickup is not nearly the premier ICON of the American automobile industry I believe it to be. That hurt a little.Ive had the simple, (brake pads), to the complex, (they installed a 1975 chevy disk brake assembly on my 1973 International truck axle), and things in between. I have the old truck, a 1988 YJ, an aged 2005 Pilot, and newer, nicer cars for my wife and kids. Their work is flawless. I believe they do not lie. Theyve never marketed additional work for me. Their estimates have always been sound. (Well, once the bill came in much less than the estimate, but I was forgiving about that).I originally believed they might be a bit higher than you can get shopping around, but it was worth it knowing they would actually fix the problem. I now think they are very competitive even with the rip-off shops across town.If youre looking for a place to trust, I would highly recommend this place. In fact, I do recommend them, to many people who approach me because they figure from the looks of what I like to drive around, I must know a good mechanic. Turns out, I do.

These guys rock! i went in to get a lift kit and to get my 2001 WJ checked out after i bought it. went in and said check it all out ball joins ext cuz i want to lift it right away. they called and told me its done getting checked out and told me the brakes needed to be done in the rear and they did it. great price and did tell me other things were bad when they werent. so you can trust them which is huge to me. now its all lifted and working really good. i will be going to them forever now.

Some time around September of 2012 I ordered a Fabtech lift for my truck. It took over a month for the parts to come. I understood this wasnt Folbecks fault. After waiting all that time the wrong parts were installed on my truck. It took an extra day for installation because Folbeck said they received the wrong pitman arm and the wrong shocks. What really bothers me is the front coil springs rub on my frame. Every time I drive over a speed bump, pull into a driveway, or drive off road a have to listen to this horrible noise. Donny said he would look into a solution to this problem. Folbeck must not care about this problem because almost two months later a still havent heard back from them. this mistake of theirs cost me over $3,000. I would not recommend them.Looks like this didnt post. Its now march of 2016 and 4 years later Im tired of hearing front coil springs rub on the frame so I called Fabtech and they called folbeck, which really wasnt nesassary because I just wanted the right part #s and planned on paying for the correct parts.No idea why, but Donny told fabtech his paperwork said all folbeck did was remove my BD tracking arm and install a Fabtech arm, and no lift kit. No idea why Donny was dishonest with Fabtech, because I still have folbecks receipts. Still trying to squirm out of a bad job 4 years later.The main reason I called Fabtech is because I had a rear suspension block crack in half not long after the kit was installed. I wrapped a nylon ratchet strap around the block and u bolts to keep the two block halves in place.,Now 3 years later I decided to take care of it. When I replaced the block I discovered the hole in diff spring pad was packed with rust and crud which didnt allow the pin in the block to seat deep enough so all the pressure was right down the center of the block, which is why the block cracked in half. Good job Folbeck! They arent even worth the time of a FU phone call

Took my s10 in for a sway bar install, no problem, dropped it off at 830 am, Donny called me at 1140 saying my passenger bearings bad, 350 plus the 100 for my sway bar, ok lets replace it. 230 rolls around, yeah they got the bearing in but my sway bar doesnt fit, start giving me the reach around, about how my bar might be for a Zr2(yeah, sure bro) mind you this was installed previously, pay these guys and drive home, my diff is leaking on the opposite side of my front end that was worked on, I called Donny and mind you he didnt mention this when I picked my truck up, but my diff is leaking my remote oil lines ect, so when was this important for me to know? When I drove to cali? And to top it all off they never tried to tap or work on my sway bar but all this Chevy stuff is real tough to work on so I see what you mean, just sit back and wait for the excuses, but u can change my bearing and not do the work I drove to your shop for, I cant help but laugh! Guess burning someone over a repair is great buisness model, jokes on me on this one thanks Donny lesson learnedLove Wayne Jurgensen
