Very nice, classy atmosphere in an equally classy neighborhood. They specialize in artisan MINI donuts with only two classic flavors, maple and chocolate. While they have many other 5 star reviews, we didnt like our chocolate donuts and ended up going to Casual Fridays. Come here if you want new age, artisan.
From the moment you enter youre greeted with the sweetest aroma & friendly Hellos. Each Doughnut is handcrafted with love by the amazing local sweet treat designers! They are prepared fresh to order! Every bite fills you with warmth and leaves a sweet dusting on your lips to savor every flavor. Hello Sugar is hands down my favorite place to take my tiny humans for Doughnuts.
Omg got a birthday dozen did the carousel and every donut was absolutely delicious melt in my mouth amazing DEFINITELY GONNA BE GOING THERE MORE
Not bad, very good when fresh, not the best of flavors to pick from though
Adorable mini donuts. Gluten free and vegan options in limited availability. I love getting carousels(a dozen variety of minis) as gifts, with my friends names on the boxes.
Cute bakery for mini donuts! Great to bring kids to and you can the donuts get made! Unique flavors and great presentation. Good location with pretty views just outside the shop.
Prepare to wait.I tried to speed things up with online order and called to let them know we were heading in if they were able to start order which they said they would. Arrived and they seemed to know nothing of the call ahead. Said they would start order, would be 15mins. Still ended up waiting almost 40mins. Then watched them openly give future discounts to other customers who ordered after us with similar size orders (just 2 boxes) but offered no apology or consolation to us. I’ve experienced this here before.I understand the world is short staffed but didn’t appreciate the mismatched service.Love the donuts but not worth the hassle. Done with this place.
They have different flavors of mini donuts. Do I need to say anything else? Best in town
Pre-ordered 2 dozen vegan donuts 2 days in advance for an event. On my way to their shop, they called 5 minutes before my scheduled pickup to tell me they did not have my donuts. They gave me the option of a few one-type of donut that were left over from the morning or to refund my order. No value or priority in pre-orders here. I did not feel like a valued customer either and I am still currently a little sad. Customer service and order protocols need to be improved. Opted for the refund and rerouted to casual donuts. Such a disappointing experience. I really wanted to like this place, but I simply cant. Will not be ordering again.
I absolutely love hello sugar, I have got it for my kids and myself many times. Unfortunately I will not be going to this location again. You go inside and youre not sure which side is hello sugar and which side is the coffee shop because they share the same tiny location with nothing but a teeny tiny sign on the front of each section stating the businesses name. It was so unexplicit that when I walked up to the coffee section on accident, the man working there was was very rude to me and made sure to say very loud and aggressive This is the coffee side, theres two sections. After I apologized and walked over to the other counter, the two girls didnt even acknowledge me for about a minute, even then was the girl very vague and unenthused to help me at all. The girls in the donut side were so busy flirting with the two boys working in the coffee section (that is literally kiddie corner), that they dont even care about their customer service. Then it took forever for my donuts to be made. After my donuts were done one of the girls stood there holding them, while laughing and talking to the other girl, as me and three other customers waited for our donuts. Very Disappointed
When i got in theres was a large line for coffee that i confused with doughnuts. I like there staple flavors and delicious quality. If only they did doughnut holes,*nudge, nudge 😉😉*my dream would be complete! I recommend this place, the look, the vibe, coffee in the same space, the service and the amazing flavors to choose from
Great little treat! Donuts come out fresh warm and crispy! My favorite kind.
Very cute little donut shop.its a.newer place in a new community in Spokane .friendly staff and they tasted great
Deliciously awesome donuts, taste that gets melt in mouth. Ambience is decent and outside views are good to look at. Will definitely visit it again, especially in summers to sit outside with coffee and donuts. If you are ordering for take away (To-Go), make sure you order enough donuts because what ever number you are going to order it is not going to be sufficient for you, you will always have craving for one more 😉😁
I love coming here whenever Im in town its just a great atmosphere good food and drink
Cute and fun. Inside Indaba coffee. Outside seating. On Centennial Trail.
These doughnuts are so fun, plus absolutely delicious!! They are just the right size for any age! Continually offering new varieties too!!
My wife saw an advertisement for this place online, and loved the fact they had gluten free options (I have celiac disease) and that it was close to where we lived. She ordered a dozen and when we got there found out they only serve mini donuts. I have checked their entire website and nowhere does it indicate that this is the only type of donut they offer. Also, we got the variety pack and I had no idea which ones I was eating as they have no labeling system inside the box, so the ones I like I wont be able to order since I dont know which was which. Granted they tasted pretty good (as gluten free goes, you cant ask for more than that) I left out 2 stars for lack of labeling and no indication they were miniature until we picked them up (true, we should have known something was up with such a low price for gluten free, but still)
Im gluten intolerant and finding an actual shop that has gluten friendly donuts?! Amazing!! I was so excited to try them and they didnt disappoint! The adorable size and added glitter makes them super cute and they feel like fairy food almost. I highly suggest the carousel option so you can try them all, but my favorite flavors were the classics - maple frosting, chocolate frosting, powdered sugar, and cinnamon sugar. Next time Ill get a dozen with a mix of those 🤤
Gluten free options at a donut shop. Refreshing for my wife who hasnt had a donut in 8 years. They are really small but they tasted GREAT. I dont eat gluten free so I enjoyed that I didnt taste a difference between normal and gluten free. Its a nice spot if you have time sit out on the patio. Theres also a coffee shop in there too. Great spot for a stop for donuts.
If youre looking for cute well decorated Donuts this place is top-notch but if youre looking for a Savory delicious donut I cant really say that this place is it.I waited about 15 minutes for my Donuts the staff was extremely friendly but the donuts were cold and they were crunchy. they were crisp on the inside. The donuts are bite size so I would have thought they would have been soft, fresh, and hot. The name of this place is hello sugar and I will say that it Donuts have a lot of sugar to them
Grandchildren loved the excursion here. The box of sampler mini doughnuts were perfect.
Great staff, Warm donuts, Different flavors. If you like bite size donuts this is the place for you.
I was surprised at such small donuts, really sweet, not my thing
Fun, cute little shop in Kendall Yards that shares the space with Indaba Coffee. This place serves a nice variety of mini donuts and their own coffee if you want to.Donuts are made fresh pretty much in front of you as they have a steady stream of people coming to get some. The donuts themselves are delicious and the flavors make each one of them unique. Considering their size, they are fun to eat and a dozen of them can disappear in no time. The location near the Centennial trail and a children park is great and allows you to not worry about bringing kids with you.
Okay, this place was a surprise stop with my kids. My son-in-law wandered off to order and I sat with my daughter and held my new grandson. Alex brings over a little box and then opens it.Boom ... mind blown! Artistic miniatures with a variety of flavors. I eat donut holes and am content. These were a proverbial 11 on a scale of 10! Shoot, being a diabetic and walking into this place .... I could smell the sugar drifting on the air currents. Check out the pics.I think we need to rewrite Johnny Ds song ... Almost Heaven, Hello Sugar ...
Donuts are minis, but they are so good. The seasonal caramel and sea salt blew my mind. My kids wont let me buy donuts anywhere else! Service was also stellar. Thanks guys!
Only one girl doing all the work, she forgot our scones then forgot to hear them. There was a long line a d she did her best so any fault I believe was in management. Good location and coffee, just needs more servers.
Good coffee, be ware of google’s listed weekend hours. Google says open at 7am on Saturday and Sunday. Their door says open at 8am on Saturday and Sunday.
Love this place!!!! Cant wait to try the huckleberry flavor someday!
This place was very good and was very good looking. You can see them making doughnuts and it was really cool (especially the machine). Even though the doughnuts are small they are really good, I enjoyed the powdered and fudge covered doughnuts. I would highly recommend this place for a quick treat.
My best friend found this place and we took a gorgeous walk to the shop. the donuts were fresh and delicious. They had so many options to choose from too. Great and friendly staff. I also noticed they wiped and disinfected the tables and chairs after every use and was very clean, so I felt comfortable sitting and enjoying my donuts! Will go back for sure! 🍩
The small donuts were delicious and warm. The coffee shop was great too.
Awesome donut but the service was extremely disappointing. I call to place an order and was told I cant and directed to do it online. Which is inconvenient yes but protocol so off to the website I went. This is for my staff and I placed the order at 945am the website said pick up would would be ready at 10:10 Am which is perfect. I had my husband go pick up before he went to work. They said it wasnt ready at 1120am and they would get started on it. Then 12 rolled around he went back to the window and they still didnt start on them. Hes now late for work and and they pretty much said wait or cancel those are the options.
This is hands down the cutest place to get donuts! The donuts were made fresh to order, and have a gourmet presentation and taste. There is a coffee shop in the same building if thats what youre after. If you are somone who likes eating half a dozen donuts to feel ashamed of yourself, this is not the place for you. Hello Sugar is indulgent not gluttonous.
I like that they arrive warm and fresh but wasnt a fan of many of the assorted flavors, props for creativity but not sure these mini doughnuts are worth the cost overall.
This new place recently opened up on the west side of Kendall Yards near a new restaurant, Park Lodge, and adjacent to Indaba coffee (its actually in the same space). There is a small parking lot with a few spaces but there is also plenty of free parking around the park and neighborhood. This place serves mini specialty donuts made to order. The line can be long at times so as long as youre not in a rush its worth the wait.
Honestly...our doughnuts were beautiful! They even had straight up glitter on them. I thought that was a little weird. I dont need to eat glitter, edible our not it didnt add to the experience. The doughnuts are made fresh I believe, but I was not impressed. They all kind of tasted the same or very similar, in other words they are more fun to look at than eat. I probably wouldnt go back.
I had their birthday special donuts. They were so fun and delicious!!
This place is an amazing, tucked away little taste adventure!! Sooo friendly and so comfortable too. My daughter and I love it here!
These donuts were okay. Nothing special really. They only sell mini donuts and honestly the price is way too much for how little you get.
I just got the vintage mini 3 pack because I always wanted to try their donuts. I have to say $5 for 3 extremely stale mini donuts is insanely disappointing. 😢
Great location, fun area, clean facility, awesome donuts!
Okay, this place is adorable! It is bright, clean, and fun! The decorations are modern with a PNW twist. The coffee shop that is located inside Hello Sugar, Indaba, is excellent. By recommend their Cold Brew, and Kendell Yards coffee drink (which is a mocha with cayenne pepper). Now for the doughnuts. Holy cow, are they good! Little crispy bites of heaven! Their chocolate icing for their doughnut could use a bit if tweaking (as you cannot really taste Chocolate as much as you just taste sugar), and that is legitimately my only critique. They Limited edition Huckleberry Cheesecake was amazing! The staff their was absolutely lovely! This place has a wonderful atmosphere!
The best doughnut shop in Eastern Washington! Specialty doughnuts throughout the year, and phenomenal coffee as well! The only downside right now is the increased wait times due to Covid-19. I suggest ordering online.
The donuts are SO GOOD and so worth the price, but the line was 25 minutes long and the wait time was 50 minutes. It was a lot of time waiting for donuts. I had a meeting, so I needed to be there anyway, but don’t expect to just pop in and out, at least on Sunday afternoon on the last day of Harry Potter donuts!
Such cute, delicious, little bite sized donuts! Got a couple boxes of the Carousel to try out all the flavors and I definitely cant pick just one I like the most, but the Nutella and smores are at the top! They are so pretty and Instagram worthy, I just wish there were other locations and they had a bigger spot. It was very cramped waiting for our donuts. Cant wait to try some seasonal flavors!
It smells fantastic in this place! The mixture of the mini Donuts being made to order and coffee bar preparing Indaba coffee is spot on. The offering of mini Donuts is many but it can be hard to differentiate some flavors from others if the flavor of the donut doesnt overpower the flavor of the batter being used. That being said all the Donuts are good and I really like the lemon flavored one.
Closed on Tuesdays? Sad kids had no donuts this morning.
Everyone is super nice. But I have never been able to try any of their vegan donuts. I have called ahead many times, gotten there earlier in the day (but there was going to be a 25+ minute wait because they hadn’t made batter yet and they had orders in front of that too.) always out of donuts way before they close and never have donuts when they open? That just odd to me. And sad.
Donuts were good but we waiting an hour and a half to get them
Loved the coffee available at the business within this building. Donuts good & came in a cute little box.
Going to this place generally feels like a special occasion. The sparkly donuts and flavor of the week donut options will probably make you spend more money there than you mean to so budget accordingly. They have a secret menu that I tend to forget about but if you figure out whats on the secret menu those orders are worthwhile.
Great place. Super relaxed location. I would definitely go back. We visited because of the cute donuts. I actually brought some back for my co-workers and my kids. Everyone loved them. The lady that helped us was super sweet. Great customer service.
I felt like family instead of a customer. They had a great coffee bar with some really neat accessories and a coffee that was not burnt or watery tasting like certain other major name brands. The mocha i had was almost perfectly balanced between all the flavours.
Tiniest donuts Ive ever eaten. These novelty donuts werent much bigger than a donut hole. They were prepared fresh, took 15-20 mins. Good quality but they werent amazing. There are better donut shops out there.
