We hired Marcells Cakes for my wedding cake and oh my goodness, this cake was immaculate in both looks and flavor. We opted for the lemon cake with raspberry filling and a buttercream frosting. Then fresh roses were placed on the cake. It was beautiful, moist, and melt-in-your-mouth-perfect, and I have leftovers to enjoy for a couple more days! Thank you so much for providing such a special part of our special day!

WOW WOW WOW!! We are never disappointed with what Marselles does! They did the most amazing job at our wedding back in 2017 and NOW THIS! Look at this smash cake and cupcakes they did for our sons camp themed birthday party!! Not only was it all SO cute, it was all delisous. BEST BAKERY IN TOWN!!! Hands down. Marcel is amazing and as a venue owner, those words do not always come easily. Not only are her desserts amazing but she is responsive and punctual and very reliable. I recently hosted a free wedding giveaway for five couples and she saw the post and volunteered immediately to provide individual desserts for all of the guests for all of the weddings. I cant express enough how much I appreciate her and all of her hard work and how she gives back to the community. I highly recommend!

Ordered my daughters 13th birthday cake from her, and she did an amazing job!🥰🥰🥰🥰 We ordered a red velvet cake, and we were so happy that the cake was very moist not dry at all or wasnt too sweet. Just the perfect cake ever! We will be ordering again in the future!

We purchased our wedding cake a year ago from them and everything turned out amazing. We went with the lavender cake and its definitely worth a try!!!! A year later and I am surprising my husband with an anniversary cake made exactly the same way we had it on our special day. These ladies are very organized, calling to confirm orders and meet times. Marsell even went the extra mile and found a decorative we used on our original cake! Definitely recommend this place for any type of cake! Wont be our last visit.

My husband and I decided to go with Marsells Cakes for our wedding. We ordered a smaller 2 tier cake and about 180 cupcakes. I sent her pictures of what I was looking for, cupcake flavors, frosting styles and the decorations and she nailed it!! I had so many compliments and people asking me who did our cupcakes and cake! My all time favorite is the lavender cake flavor!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Marsells Cakes for many years now, and I must say, she does a fabulous job. The cakes are always moist, delicious and beautifully decorated. I couldnt have asked for a better experience and result. I began coordinating with Marcell months before my mothers 50th birthday in Spokane. She was always prompt and quick to reply to my emails which were full of questions. She gave great advice and was willing to go along with every crazy idea I gave her. The ending result was full of creativity and bursting with flavor. I never once had any doubt in her ability as she instills a great confidence in her customers.

What a lovely experience I had this morning while I stumbled upon this place. Theres a small display of assorted cupcakes and cookies. I had the pleasure of chatting it up with Marsells (owners) husband and he told me how the shop came to be as well as how Marsell turned her hobby into a career.I chose the lavender cupcake (one of the top sellers) at $2.50 each, which was really delicious, I particularly liked the after taste, wasnt too strong. The lavender flavor took over 1.5 years in the making! The texture was just right, the cream inside the cupcake was a nice surprise and not too sweet. I hope to try the strawberry lemonade next time!The decor inside the shop was also very homey. I hope this mom & pop shop continues to succeed!

Saturday, Sept 9th 2017 we had a cake from Marsells for our Wedding. It was AMAZING! The florest forgot to send the flowers for the cake so they patiently waited for a friend of mine to go purchase MORE flowers and the end result was amazing! Everyone loved the Lavender cake and the buttercream frosting! It was perfect! Thank you!

I put an order for my sisters cake and just received and email that they would not be able to make the cake Im glad i spoke to sweet frostings 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟and was able to have them bake her cake which is September.

The lightest and best cheesecake ever...

The pictures posted on here by others are deceiving because when I went in there, the displays were completely empty no cakes, cupcakes or any sort of treats. I was hoping to see some of their cakes or cupcakes and to even buy a cupcake to try fresh rather than some sampler that was sitting in the fridge made god knows when. Its almost like a closed down business inside just bare display cases nothing on the walls just a bare store front.I called yesterday before visiting and I spoke to Stephanie. I told her I was interested in wedding cakes she explained that I can go to the store on Sprague and get a sampler. She went on to explain that I should try to get there before 4 because sometimes the gentleman that works there sometimes decides to close up early. This was first red flag. Odd he just closes up when he wants. So I go today Friday at 11:35am and there is a handwritten sign on the door that says closed for lunch from 11-12. Ok so I look on their info on both Google and website and hours posted on door and nowhere does it say that their hours include a lunch time closure. Stephanie never warned me that they might be closed for lunch. Now keep in mind I drove over 30 mins to get there. So out of frustration I call the number and I get Stephanie again and I ask if there is a way to contact the actual store instead of wherever she is. I told her I would like to confirm that one this guy is going to actually re-open at noon as the sign says and two that there are actually samples! I told her that I felt its poor business practice that the set hours arent adhered to and the person working can just close the shop as he pleases. She just kept making excuses rather than apologize and say it will be addressed. She said, Well you have to understand he works alone and if he needs to get lunch.... I have owned a small business and I never would allow someone just making up their own Willy nilly hours especially when they were being relied on to keep my shop open and be the face and first impression of my business! I told her she needs to understand my position I am the customer and I drove all the way based on what info she gave me and whats available online! She said well she had no idea he would close for lunch.Uhm excuse me, that is a problem!!!Well so I go back at about 1215 and the guy is siting at a table eating and talking on his cell phone. I walk in with my kids and he still on the phone comes to the counter and says in the phone, hang on hang on I got someone here. He doesnt put the phone down or hang up and he says, you picking up a cake? I told him no I was there to get sample tasters? He goes ( phone still up to ear) oh? Yeah ok they are in there pointing to a cooler to my left which is empty but a small stack of their sample packs. I go to reach for one, then he asks, did you come here a few minutes ago? And I said yes and he again says, oh! Hard roll of the eyes. Well there you go, you got your tastings rude tone. I stared to look at them to see if I had any questions and he again rudely said, Thats it thats what you get. I said ok and then there are some papers hanging on the cooler with info about the cakes and pricing etc so I go to grab one and he all but snaps at me and says, No you got one in there ! Pointing to my little bag with the samplers. I said ok again and proceeded to walk out and as I was he says into his phone, Yeah that was her, my assumption is he was speaking to Stephanie. Its sad when my kids say to me as we walk outside... gee that guy was rude! I have no idea how based on this business practices how they do so well I dont care if they have cake made of damn gold! I would never do business with them! Their name is like on every list of vendors given from the venues and believe me I plan to let them know of this experience and tell them that this business should not go be on their recommendations, why would you refer your clients and brides to a business like this!
