The waiting room time was minimal and proper sanitation according to CDC guidelines was followed. The nurse/technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Acaro was very through in explaining my evaluations and diagnosis. I would highly recommend St. Lukes Cataract & Laser Institute.

I go to St. Luke’s annually for my eye examination. I find them to be very efficient from start to finish. What I like most about St Luke’s is they don’t try to talk you into having surgery. They give you the results of your eye examination and let you know about any problems and educate you on your treatment options.

I love St. Lukes. Everyone is extremely courteous and very professional. My eye sight is 20/15 because of the help I received over the last four years.

This location has nice staff as do all the facilities but this location is not the cleanest or up to date office. Clearwater and Tarpon Springs are the best. Overall though Dr. Howard and his lasik team are top notch. Wouldnt recommend anyone to go anywhere else. They go above and beyond.

St. Lukes is AMAZING. I had to go here for and eye emergency and did not know what to expect. I found this place immaculate. The staff up front was attentive and friendly. The check in process was quick and easy.Once called to the back, the technician saw that I was in a lot of pain and immediately placed drops in my eye to numb it and ease the pain so I would feel more comfortable. I was so thankful for that. She was so kind and you could just tell she cared about her patients.Once the Dr. came in I was again amazed at how caring the Dr. was explaining everything and what I needed to do.If you need anything related to your eyes, CALL ST LUKES FIRST and see if they can help you. I will go no where else from now on. Thank you ST Lukes

Wonderful upbeat, enthusiastic, helpful, cheerful and professional (not mutually exclusive) staff! Dr Howard performed flawless PRK surgery on my daughters eyes three years ago and a simple eye exam on me recently. I highly recommend this location and the one in Tarpon Springs. I wish all doctors offices could be run like this. The founder, Dr Gills is a prolific and excellent writer of Christian books with copies free to take. The Spring Hill location also does hearing tests and ear exams and procedures. I walked in with my left ear nearly totally deaf and walked out with it back to normal! Ill leave out the details but you get the drift. It is my wish that St Lukes moves into general medicine - I know they would hire the best in class.

The doctors may be the best in the area, but there is no excuse for the wait. My mother is a patient here and like most of the others I see in the waiting room, she is elderly and cannot drive herself. We have never waited less than 35 minutes (usually it is close to an hour) PAST APPOINTMENT TIME. This is completely unacceptable. Especially when the majority of patients are relying on other people to bring them. I know this gets said all the time but if my mother were to cancel her appointment last minute, she would probably be charged. However, we are expected to sit and wait for hours. St. Lukes, our time is just as valuable as yours. Letting people sit and wait like this is very disrespectful. This morning, after checking in, I asked if the doctor was running on time and I was assured he was. 35 minutes (yes, this morning broke the record for shortest wait) past appointment time, my mother was called. This is not on time. If you cannot run the office while sticking to the schedule, please at least be honest and realistic.

Everyone was friendly and professional and Dr. Arcaros technician went the extra mile to check some things for me. Waiting times for check-in, check-out and waiting room were short. I was very pleased with the ways in which they made everything safer in these days of covid-19. I highly recommend St. Lukes in Spring Hill.

Got me in quickly when had a problem

St Lukes employees are the best! Though always busy, the staff does an excellent job of moving patients along in a timely manner. In the past, I have treated with other eye clinics and never knew how many hours I would be there. Dr Crystal Hoffert is very knowledgeable and dedicated to finding the source of a problem. I am not happy about having procedures repeated, but at least this time I feel confident that St Lukes will fix the problems left from a different clinic!

I had a very positive experience with outstanding results. My doctor was Pit Gills. I had cataracts removed and interocular lenses implanted to correct my astigmatism. No longer wear glasses . The entire team has a very organized system with multiple checks and balances . Absolutely recommend!

May, 2018, Good service. June, 2018, Went back today for pre-opp appt. Today. Process was fast and efficient. Problem is they arent covered on my insurance. Wasted our afternoon and money on the visit. They had ALL our insurance info but must have forgot to check. On the bright side, they said we are already for surgery and we can schedule if we are willing to pay FULL price. Ruined our day... (Minus 2 stars for font end staff.)

$250 for initial appt ??That most likely includes 10-15 with the dr IF THAT, and thats most likely only includes a simply eye test to determine whats wrong. Im loosing my eye sight in one eye and if $250 is just for initial visit to talk with dr just imagine the cost for actual test as and possibly surgery. Guess I will have to deal with whatever is going on cause Im on disability and cant afford any of it and have share of cost which isnt met.Wonder why people cant afford health insurance, nevermind vision insurance.

Average at best. Always takes over an hour. Care is average. St Lukes always wants to do a refraction for $40. They wont even see you unless you sign a form agreeing to pay for it. I always tell them I dont want it and they still try to do it. So, patient beware of unnecessary charges.

1st they want 2000 per eye when some places charge 250,2nd need to keep contacts out for a week, so either be blind a week or buy new glasses which would be worthless after lasik. 3rd they want me to come to tarpon which is way too far to be driving blind.
