Professional and did an outstanding job. Even with us sourcing the engineered hardwood from out of state to match what we had downstairs, they still gave us a great bid for installation only. John was fair and courteous and was up front with all of the costs. We needed custom stair nose to match the type of wood and he sourced it and the guys did an amazing job staining it to match. There were 2 areas where the floor had curves and I cant tell you how amazing the job they did cutting to line up exactly. no caulk or cord around was used on the landing of the stairs or the 15-20 ft long inside curved area. They cut to perfection and wow it really came out nice. I would recommend this company every day of the week to anyone needing their floors installed. Great job guys!

I have done flooring in rooms of previous homes, but I have never taken on the chance to do a whole house job. With our open floor plan I was not comfortable with all that needed to be done, so my wife and I were shopping around at the big box stores, online, & LL, but could not find what we wanted. We then dropped out daughter at her friends home and saw their floor and asked about it, and they told us about Lone Star Floors.My wife and I went over one day to see the selection and options available. We were greeted by John, and he guided us to look around at different products, find what we liked, and then come to him to discuss the plan we had in mind for our home. We told him we wanted flooring that would meet our families needs (pool, children, pets). He informed us about our choices and how they met our goals as well as showed us some other options. We took several large samples home, on two occasions to find what color went best with our home.Once we decided, John came over and measured and got us a fair and reasonable quote within a day. We were fortunate and the flooring we choose was in Houston and his trusted crew was available so we didnt have to wait more than a week to start.The crew was professional, on time and extremely courteous. They took the time to ensure each cut was perfect and that the thresholds and quarter round matched perfectly.If we have flooring needs in this house or another, we will use Lone Star Floors, and we have already shared our experience with our neighbors.

Wonderful and very helpful staff. Amazing and beautiful products. We bought 3000+ sq ft of tile to re-do the floors of our home. Our house looked like new. 2 years later it still looks great. Definitely, highly recommend.

My husband and I went to look at tile flooring. We are looking at replacing the flooring throughout the house. The older gentleman that was in the store could not be bothered to get out of his chair to assist us, assist in writing anything down and urged us to look at vinyl flooring assuming we could not afford tile flooring. The whole experience was less than to be desired. I really did like one of the tiles but will not purchase from here due to how we were treated. We will find that tile through another avenue or find a similar tile from a different provider. Shame on you for how you treated us.

John was informative on what would work best in my home based on what I was wanting. He was patient with our moving time table. The install crew was fast, efficient, and helpful with any questions I had along the way. They completed the job faster than projected with no sacrifice of quality of install. When I decide to refloor the remaining rooms, Ill be giving them a call.

We purchased wood floors and carpet for our entire house from Lone Star Floors. The installation crew did an outstanding job. They took their time with the demo of our old wood and tile flooring to ensure the subflooring was properly prepared for the best possible finished look and feel of the final product. The office manager, John Tatom, provided the best service, before, during and after installation that I’ve ever received from any type of home remodeling/improvement store. I would recommend this store to anyone interested in a great floors at a great price!

John and the floor crew were amazing. The transformation of our house from Carpet to Vinyl is amazing. If you want quality floors definitely go w/ Lone Star Floors. They were in and out of here in no time as well. There was a piece of Molding that wasnt secured all the way and the main installer Juan came down and met me after work to fix the issue. Great customer service right there. John doesnt push sales. He tells you how it is and you leave there trusting him. I went to a few other places around here and it felt almost overwhelming w/ the owners trying to push sales down your throat. Bottom line is, dont even waste your time, go w/ Lone star Floors.

Best experience possible! John owns the store and knows his products well and his crews even better. The crew that installed our new hardwoods did an amazing job. They were professional, arrived in a timely manner, were very respectful of our belongings as they moved them and did an excellent job installing the new floors. They even spoke good English so I could ask them questions throughout the day. They were able to take up our old carpet and install the new floors in a day.We had one minor issue of a board squeaking and they came back out and fixed it with no problems at all. It was actually a manufacturer issue and not an installation problem and they still took care of it in a timely and complete manner. These guys are real professionals. The best part is they were $2,500 cheaper than the comparable floors with install from Floor and Decor which is suppose to be a wholesale provider. Boy am I glad I cancelled that order and went with Lone Star Floors in Spring, TX.

I dont normally write these but I have to give credit where credit is due. These guys installed carpet in our bedrooms and we are very satisfied with the finished product. They are very quick and keep a clean work area. I would recommend Lone Star Floors to anyone.

Used John and his crew to order and replace tile in 2 bathrooms. John was incredibly informative, helpful and accessible. His crew was quick and very detail oriented. I also really appreciated how his crew was so accommodating by willing to come back later that evening to reinstall toilets. A great experience all around, with very competitive prices.

John was extremely nice and helpful with my new floors. As soon as I walked in he immediately began asking about my project and what look I wanted to achieve. I came in on a Friday afternoon, he let me take home the samples I was interested to see if I liked them, went back on Saturday to set up an appointment for him to take measurements. He came to my house on Monday to get the measurements, and the guys were installing my floors that Wednesday! Everything was complete by Friday, and it looks awesome! I am so pleased with the great job they did and the quick installation. I would reccomend Lone Star Floors to anybody if you want good, quality work. They may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Overall, the price was exactly what I was looking for and the process was so smooth and easy. Lone Star Floors was the exact opposite. We had our flooring picked out in less than 30 minutes and scheduled them to be installed the next week. He knew almost all the prices right off the top of his head, and if he didn’t have a brand, he was on the phone with distributors finding it. We had been shopping around for hardwood flooring for about 3 months. Went into Lone star flooring and spoke with John. He was very knowledge and very friendly. We took a few samples home and found the perfect one. I wanted the floors to be done by the time my family came into town. He said that his men can start the job on Monday and it would take 3 days to complete the job. His installer Juan and his floor techs, Javier and Pedro were amazing. They worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed with the job they did. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for a job well done.

Elegant Floor Renovating -The Woodlands location is GREAT! I have used them twice within the past two years. The laminate and carpet was replaced with porcelain floors. We also designed transition strips for the wet rooms to add a little flare. The floors are absolutely beautiful! John the GM is great to deal with. We needed the our house re-carpeted but had a short time frame. He got the carpet from the factory in a couple of days and had a crew ready who did a fantastic job installing it. All in a very competitive price.
