Ordered two shirts and the shipping was $10.90. More than I’d be willing to pay normally, but one of the shirts was unique enough to make it worth it. After an extensive wait I received one of the shirts (not the one that made the shipping worth it) with a note that the other shirt was out of stock and had been cancelled. They only took $1 off of the shipping. I would never pay that much shipping on a single shirt. The right thing to do would have been to reach out and see if we still wanted 50% of the order at 91% of the shipping charge, especially after the crazy long wait.

Overall I am very satisfied with the selection, price, ordering process, and communication from this business (especially under challenging circumstances). Please be aware that due to short staffing (impact not limited to this type of industry) that order processing and shipping will take longer than normal, which is clearly stated on the website. Taking this in to account, once I placed my order (well in advance of my item needs), leaving a comment regarding shipping, I reached out via email, as I was under a time constraint to receive my order (out of state) prior to traveling up to State College for the White Out game. I received an email follow-up within 24 hours, which was friendly and aware of my circumstance. They were very accommodating in making sure that my order was processed, shipped, and delivered by my requested date. I received multiple follow-up emails once the order was shipped to make sure I had all the proper tracking information. Thank you again. Just wanted to get a shirt for the game this weekend and it was beyond a disaster in the store. There’s an avalanche of boxes by the checkout register and you can’t event walk by. To top it off the staff looked acted like they didn’t even want to be there — what a poorly run show.

If you want Penn State gear, this is a place to go. They have a really good selection of just about anything you would want - t-shirts, polos, hoodies, workout gear, shorts, pants . . .

I ordered items online via NittanyOutlet.com, and order processing does take a few days even for local orders. The website does mention this but it is vague. I received a call from the CS rep within 3 days of placing my order that my items are ready for pickup. Also if you leave a Google review, the CS rep will call you within minutes the review is posted if it is not favorable. I always try to support local businesses and appreciate the CS contacted me to resolve any uncertainties I had after my order was placed.

I am helping the staff at a high-needs, Title 1 school of nearly 800 students I work at in Northern Virginia to collect college shirt donations. The goal is for each student to have a shirt to wear on a school-sponsored College Day. The owner at Lion & Cub, as he was preparing to leave the store, put everything on hold and promptly filled a bag of brand new T-Shirts to help with this effort. His generosity was touching and so very appreciated. I will definitely make my Penn State gear purchases at Lion & Cub moving forward. Many, many thanks! WE ARE...!

THis has got to be the best psu clothes shop near campus, they have absolutely everything, I spent like $40 and got 5 items!!

Slow shipping, ordered one in stock shirt on Monday, didnt get it until Saturday. Couldnt wear it to the game I wanted it for. I even live in Pa so shipping shouldnt take 5 days. This is exactly why people order from places like Amazon and the little guy cant survive. No reason a shirt in stock couldnt ship the same day as it was ordered. I ordered that shirt early on Monday morning and didnt leave there until Wednesday night. Not happy with service here.

I placed an order on December 8, 2016. I still have not received any shipping information. Yesterday, December 19, 2016 I got an email for review. How am I supposed to review a product Ive yet to receive? Ive tried calling the company and its either busy, or no answer. The one time I did get through I was told my item would be here before Christmas. I have a hard time believing that since I havent even received any shipping information. Stay away from this company. This review is for online side of the business (Nittany Outlet): Unbelievably bad or just incompetent ? I am thinking this cant be an actual business. If it is I would bet they will be out of business soon. They do not answer phones and the voice mail box is full. No response to email inquiries. Online ordering system is not functioning. Not to mention the user experience of the web site is bad.

I ordered items from the web site on December 22 hoping to have these items for the bowl game on January 2. The charged was pending on my credit card for a little over a week then it dropped off. Never posted and I never received the items. I never received any notice of this order not being filled. On January 5, I received a tracking number stating that the order was just sent. That is ridiculous to, first, think that it is acceptable (without any communication) to send an order 2 weeks after it is placed and second, to send bowl paraphernalia after the game is over.

I had placed my order in the beginning of December knowing I was going to be in State College the day after Christmas but I wanted my sweatshirt before I had to travel as I am coming from Florida. Two weeks came and went and I decided to call. Just like the other reviews I got no answer and/or busy tone and no one would return my emails. Thankfully I have family up there and they went into the store for me with my order number. They gave my mother in law the sweatshirts that I had ordered right then and there. They were out of stock in the color I wanted for one of the sweatshirt but I settled on what they had and they refunded my shipping charges. I came up there and in the meantime I saw that my original order was then shipped the next day ( Dec.27th) and sent to my home in Florida. They had explained that they had been short staffed during the holidays and that all the college students had left to go home for the holidays. I am an understanding person but at the very least they could of sent out a mass email explaining the situation. So in the end I got my product twice and they refunded me some for the issues. The store itself is fine and I ended up buying some items while I was there but had I not of came to visit family who live there I probably would be in the same boat as everyone else.

Placed my order on 12.5.16. Received an e-mail last weekend to rate my product, still havent received it. Sent 3 e-mails. No response. Called last Tuesday, the guy told me they were packaging 12.5 orders as we speak. Still no shipping confirmation email. Called again on 12.15 and the girl verified that I will have my order in time for Christmas. On 12.16 the money came out of my account. Never received shipping confirmation email, but they got paid already. I called today and was on hold for an hour stating I was the next caller. Finally hung up. I think this company needs to be reported to the better business bureau. Looks like Ill be doing the one thing I dread, last minute Christmas shopping because someone got my money but I didnt get what I ordered

I have bought a NCAA Wrestling National Champions shirt from this store every year that Penn State won the title. The service is great and they bent over backwards to help me when I was sure they ran out of stock on one purchase. These guys, also known as Nittany Outlet, are my preferred and first choice when it comes to Penn State apparel. I simply do not believe the negative reviews. I have ordered for over 6 years straight from these guys...all online orders. And they have never ONCE failed to deliver. Buy here and buy with CONFIDENCE! I placed an order on December 11th 2016 and still have not recieved an email saying it was shipped. No one responds to either email account provided, and the phone is a joke. It says there is 1 caller ahead and I have waited on hold over 3 hours (not to mention while pushing star every 5 minutes to continue to hold) I have yet to ever reach a person. I would not recommend anyone to this store and frankly you are a disgrace to nittany nation.

Made two orders, 12/7 and 12/8. First was delivered 12/22! Second not delivered yet. No response to phone calls or emails. Terrible customer service! Wont order from them again!

DONT ORDER from here. No communication process in place. Placed order on 12/10/16, no communication of them processing, called to confirm on 12/15, told theyre working on orders placed on 12/7. Finally received order on 12/22; however, I didnt receive the right items although the invoice showed the items that I ordered. Immediately called (several times) with no success in getting through. Attempted to reach them everyday until Christmas with the phones either busy, a fax line, or my call being dropped. Also emailed with no response. Its 12/26, calling and emailing again with no sucess. Needless to say, my present wasnt here for Christmas. AWEFUL service, no communication...very dissapointed.

Placed my order for Rosebowl gear on December 18. Tried to check on it by calling on December 29 as I had not received an email or my stuff. There own shipping policy states 7-10 days. Sent an email to customer service. There was a disclaimer at the top of the website that orders must be made by December 12 for HOLIDAY delivery - no problem. Just want the stuff by game time - January 2nd . Thought I would try again today and today December 30th they add to the disclaimer AND ROSEBOWL. That bit of information would have been nice to have at the time of purchase. Not 3 days before the game. Do not order from here!!!! No way to fix anything. Very slow with everything. I didnt read the reviews before I placed my order. Now I have to go find shirts 3 days before the game.

I emailed their customer service three days ago and have yet to receive a response.
