This spot is cute and quaint. I like that they offer oat milk alternative (gave them 2 stars for that and fair pricing). The chocolate milk was nice and creamy. Gave them low stars because of the hard to overlook poor customer service. The lady at the counter was very stand offish and seemed bothered by my presence (I’m racially mixed). She made weird facial expressions like I was asking something stupid when I asked if they could make the hot chocolate dairy free. She was warm and kind to the 2 white ladies before and after me. Maybe I’m over thinking it, or maybe it’s because I’m not a local or maybe it’s because I was the only person wearing a mask. Either way - I left there with an unwelcoming spirit. The opposite feeling I want when going to a cozy local cafe. FYI the girl had long dark hair. Tip to the owner - consider hiring more diverse staff you’ll be surprised how that adds to the atmosphere.

Salad was very good along with turkey sandwich. Lovely atmosphere and outside dining was a plus. As it was my first time here I wish the staff was a bit more friendly but it was busy so they probably dont have to be about it. Definitely will be back and enjoyed my lunch stop here.

Great coffee spot. I just wish they had more breakfast food options (Egg sandwiches or something with protein). I had to settle for a scone, which is not my style. But it was the best scone Ive ever had! The coffee is top notch. Having a sugar free syrup selection earned points with our family too. Ill definitely come back.

Love this coffee shop. Who needs Starbucks when you have a local coffee shop like the Daily Grind. The barista was outstanding, helpful to us tourist in letting us know where to go, eat and stay. Her recommendations were spot on. The coffee was outstanding I got the black coffee and it had a perfect toasted rich bold taste. My very picky wife ordered the peppermint white chocolate mocha nonfat with whip and she loved it.

I have been here several times and I have only had one cup worth drinking, which is NOT saying a lot with how much I love coffee. However, the one good cup was quickly ruined by me and my two friends being asked to leave because we were at a lunch table that was not marked with a sign or anything. I would kinda understand if there wasnt another customer sitting alone at a lunch table that was marked clearly with a large sign without getting lunch and being there longer than us. We were not being loud and just ordered our drinks before starting our homework. Also, I was talking to a former barista who worked there that informed me that they just buy there baked goods from Kroger and re-wrap them to make it look like they make them in-house. Honestly really disappointed, I wish that they were decent but with there being such a high quality of coffee places in Statesboro its quite honestly not worth the time or money. I usually advise local coffee shops, but in this case unfortunately even Starbucks is far superior. =(

Great prices. Good relaxing atmosphere. Inside is like a cozy little cottage. Not just having tables, but also comfy chairs with end tables. Good food with what I did try. Only complaint I have is couldnt find menu nor where price menu was. Its small so cant hold large groups either. Still great place to go. Cheapest place I have found for coffee that tastes good.

Definitely my favorite coffee shop in Statesboro! Theyre coffee is pretty good and the environment is so cute and good for homework! They also have the best outdoor seating in Statesboro because it is in a fenced in patio where theres plenty of shade. They also have the best muffins in town, not to mention all the great food they have on the menu. Definitely the most authentic, local place in Statesboro. GO HERE, do not go anywhere else for local coffee!!!

Excellent coffee but very disappointed that I got there today, 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close, and it wasnt open. I even called ahead to make sure they were going to be open until 3 p.m. In addition, outside of the shop and online state they close at 3 p.m. However, at 2:30 they were not open, and provided no notice.

Awesome ambiance, although rather small for more than 10-12 people. But I do like the quaint feel of it! Food/drink quality is fair to good. I believe their coffee is better than any mixed coffee drinks there. Service is very good with a friendly smile and fast service!

Daily grind is one of my favorite places in Statesboro. It doesnt have youre traditional Guatemalan coffee but instead offers 3 new flavors just about every day. Also, they have a great lunch for reasonable price with awesome employees. The only critique is that there is not a ton of seating and sometimes it feels like everyone can hear your conversation. But the back patio is awesome when the weather permits.

Coffee lovers, this is your place! My favorite part about this café was watching the coffee beans be ground and then tamped for EACH shot of espresso. Which they have a plethora of beans to choose from.Normally, I prefer not to have whip cream with my coffee. However, when the barista asked if I wanted whipped cream, while holding a pastry piping bag filled with it and not from a can, I couldnt say no.I ordered a mocha royale, a special they had that day. The barista was more than happy to explain how they make the drink when asked. The taste was just perfect, its not sickly sweet like the big chain trying to hide bad coffee. Definitely worth the visit!

Best coffee in Statesboro. Its a tight space when busy, but everything they do is high quality. The beans, sweets, sandwiches, service, atmosphere, the back patio, and even the piano in the corner by the front door.
