I received a very thorough and complete eye examination today Nov.3rd byJes, andTiffany at Dr.Alessio office.These eye exam technicians. were extremely competent, professional,and patient friendly. Dr. Alessio truly cares about my eye sight and I highly recommend him and his staff.

My patient experience at Alessio Eye was absolutely terrible! A glaucoma test that was suppose to take a day to get the results took over 2 weeks, because of defective equipment. During those 2 weeks I kept calling for results but no help was offered. When I finally got the results I was told the test would need to be repeated in 3 months even though the doctor had previously told me the test was a yearly exam. I was then billed double from what I had been quoted for the glaucoma test. As a result of this awful patient care I have submitted a formal BBB complaint..UPDATE 11/03/2021:Doctor Alessio called me yesterday and explained everything to my satisfaction. I have formally released my BBB Complaint.

I feel Im getting very good eye care at Alessio Eye MD. I understand my problems that I have with my eyes. I am getting my cataracts taken care of in the next couple weeks. They are keeping on top of a few other problems making sure Im taking my Areds 2 twice a day and using eye drops to keep my eyes moist. Also. I use Johnson Baby Shampoo to keep my eyelashes clean.

My visit to this office was quick, polite professional and prompt. They were on time, proficient and professional in all aspects of my examination. Results of the exam were discussed with me in a manner I could understand and my options were made clear for me to decide what I needed to do going forward and what options I had. I would recommend this office to anyone as I was made to feel not only that my interests and concerns were met and explained but also because I was always treated in a polite, professional and concerned manner so that I felt that my best interests were being taken into consideration.

I have been visiting Dr. Alessios clinic for couple of years after I was diagnosed with a small cataract in my eye. Dr. Alessio also found some minor nerve damage due to increased pressure. Very nice office staff. Only talked to Macie and Dr.Alessio. Answered all questions thru videos and consultation. Did not really explain cost after my insurance paid their portion. Have no idea if i picked the right options. That part very unclear and confusing. Still have questions that i dont know how to ask.

I had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. Others were complaining as well, over scheduling patients.

I made a huge mistake and got my appointment mixed up with my Son’s appointment. I was seen and asked if they can fit my son in. I know they were busy and booked solid but they managed to fit him in. These folks have been like this since day one. I will never go to another Ophthalmologist! My family have been a Alessio patients for years and have never had a bad experience. Alessio Eye MD is the best!!!

I was completely satisfied with the service I received at Alessio Eye today. I stopped in to inquire about having sunglasses made and because of an unexpected opening in their schedule was able to have my annual eye exam and order new glasses while I was there (as well as ordering my sunglasses). My appointment started on time, was thorough and I am treated well. The optician didn’t have to sell me as there were great frames. I sat and had some coffee looked out into the snow laden forest and enjoyed.

Requested an appointment online then received a call to set up an appointment and I called them back to schedule something. Going very well until I talked to the receptionist. And I told them I have pink eye and I’m contagious but getting antibiotics from another doctor today. And the lady on the phone was rude and was like “well if you are already getting antibiotics why would you come in??” Like being very rude. And I told her well its reoccurring and I want to know why. She didn’t really seem like she knew what she was doing considering she said well not much we can do. When this is a doctors office idk why they couldn’t set up an appointment to look at my eyes to make sure nothing else it wrong, but didn’t seem like she was interested in helping me. So I told her to have a good day and that was that. Very dissatisfied and very disappointed!

The Alessio IOP check was spot on with my IOP history and contrary to the Optometrist who referred me (two strikes). The best part - I was able to use an old, discontinued frame style I had bought a few years ago that I really liked for my glasses. Previous Optometrist told me no for getting lenses placed in them (three strikes - you are OUT!).
