Way more professional than lensecrafters. They also have a wider selection of frames that hit multiple price points. Both employees helped me out and gave me time to browse without hovering. They also called to look up my insurance which made selecting a pair of frames a lot smoother than when i went to lensecrafters

STAY AWAY! Booked 2 appointments for my children online over 2 weeks ago for today 5/19 at the Strongsville location. Received confirmation emails 3 days ago (May 16). They called and CONFIRMED my daughters appointment on 5/17 with her. Arrive for the appointments and told we dont have appointments. the lady behind the desk was CLUELESS and thought we maybe had appointments at another location. Pulled up our booking and confirmation email and we were in fact in the correct location. Wanted us to sit and see if they could fit us in but could be hours. Unprofessional would not recommend to anyone! I will be calling our insurance carrier as well. Why have an online booking ability if your staff doesnt understand how to use it. Unacceptable and will not return to Visionworks.

The text to pick up my glasses did not contain any information about scheduling an appointment beforehand. When I visit the store to pick up my glasses (not any other purpose), the lady who worked there on 12/9/20 at 5:40 PM was very rude, shouting at me in front of other customers while I explained to her that I did not know there was a need for an appointment since the text did not contain any such information. Very disappointed with Visionworks; will not return to this business in any location again after being their customers for several times throughout the years.

I only went back to Vision Works because Mikaela gives such excellent customer service. She is so kind and caring. She stayed 1/2 hour after closing to help me choose new glasses. I bought an extra pair of glasses because of her excellent service. She should be commended.

I had an eye exam, selected two new pairs of glasses (one normal pair and one pair of sunglasses) with that prescription, and they were ready to pick up within 5 days!Every bit of the experience was polite, quick, and easy. The staff was patient and attentive and addressed all of my questions without missing a step.They calculated out the different ways that the many discounts offered could be applied and helped me chose the one that saved me the most money.If you need a new prescription, glasses, or contacts, I highly recommend the Vision Works in Southpark Mall!Truly 5 Star Service!

The staff at vision works was very helpful and patient. I had my 3 year old busy son with me today and they took their time helping and figuring out my insurance since guardian kept saying I wasn’t found. Everybody at Vision Works was very friendly and I was greeted right away. Tara helped me make a wise choice in frames and lenses. She was very into tune with what I needed. I appreciated her advice on how I looked in the frames. She also explained the billing very well also. I was completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend choosing Vision Works.

I went into this Vision works three weeks ago just to look at the frames. I spoke with several associates while in the store. They were very helpful. My prescription was at my eye doctor in New Jersey. They took the time to call to get it faxed. When I came back, the New Jersey eye doctor failed to fax the prescription. The associates at Vision works were immediately on the phone to ensure that they could get my prescription. I worked with Kelly to order two pairs of glasses. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I left very confident in the frames and lenses that I choose. I would highly recommend this location.

Fantastic service from Rachael and her manager. Had some confusion navigating our insurance plan and coverage, they were able to explain perfectly what was covered and went out of their way to find the best deal when we added coatings and special lenses. Will definitely return to get more glasses! Great selection of brands and colors to choose from.

I had excellent service from Kelly and Rachel today in getting my prescription progressive lens glasses and sunglasses. Both employees were courteous and very helpful in selecting frames and putting together the best package of specifications and cost.

I came in today with my husband to get some new glasses. Rachael was so patient with me as I tried on a dozen or so frames, and offered very helpful suggestions on frame sizes and styles. She was very accommodating when it came to using our insurance as well, making sure that we received the best deal for the glasses and applying our benefits in the most advantageous way. I have not purchased glasses in about four years, as I typically wear contacts. Rachael made sure to take the time to explain the differences between lenses and coatings, and really made sure I was getting the best glasses for my intended use. I have been coming here for several years and I think that its a great place. There are times when it is super busy and your best bet is to leave and come back another time, but there are also times when I walk in with a pair of glasses I stepped on at home and 5 minutes later they are magically bent back into shape and I am out the door.I dont think any of the people who the bad service comments were written about still work here.These people are friendly, they fix things if they can, they work with you if you dont like what you picked out, they exchange things, they remember me when I come back in, and for the money, I believe the product you receive is a great value.So long as you are not looking to walk in the door and 60 minutes later walk out with a pair of glasses, you should be fine. Wake up folks. That is a best case scenario. A proper eye exam takes 30 minutes and then most of us need special stuff and they have to send off for it!Bottom line: Good Value, Nice Folks, Great Service.

Drove 45 minutes on a Sunday (today) to order new glasses. Walked in @ around 2:40-2:45PM 1 lady working that we seen who was with someone she said I’ll be right with you. She was done with that person. I was next. HOLD UP!!! Well I thought I was next. But someone walked in and she went right to helping that person. As we start to walk out I hear I will be right with you. Very poor customer service. I guess at this location it’s ok to skip around to who you want to help and not help the next person waiting.

Rude Employees - Tried to schedule an exam for contact lenses via phone, only to find out that my insurance no longer covers the exam. Understandably, I then decided I didnt want to continue with my appointment and wanted instead to look for another doctors office for which the appointment would be fully covered. At that point, the employee I was scheduling my appointment with suddenly became rude, as if I was wasting her precious time, and then hung up on me. Nice.

Tara was so helpful!! My glasses that were 9 months old broke. She determined it was a manufacturer defect. They could no longer get my frames, so I picked out a brand new pair, Including new lenses. It cost me $0! Goodbye Lenscrafters. Hello Visionworks. Will now be loyal to Visionworks!

My family and I had a great experience eventho there was a mix up with the insurance. All 3 of my children got exams and glasses.

Been going to Dr. here for years. Saw different doctors during that time but all were very nice and knowledgeable. Staff was very courteous and I barely had to wait. I highly recommend the Dr. Rowson and Visionworks.

Ive been here several times. Service is usually fine, but they have messed up an order before. Not ALL employees are super, but some are great and really nice. The main thing to me is that this is much cheaper than going to my insurance companys office for an exam or contacts/glasses.

Dont know about all those bad comments about this place. I went to get a lens replaced under my warranty and expected to run into a hassle cause I bought them in a different state. They honored it and was treated very nice. So if you had a bad experience in the past I suggest you try them again. Ty visionworks great job.

WORST eyewear experience I have ever had. TERRIBLE customer service, very poor selection of frames, NO ONE knows how to operate the computer system. It took more than four days to cancel the order and process the cancellation which created a NIGHTMARE with insurance company. DONT GO HERE!!!! However the eye exam I had was excellent. No problem with the optometry office.

Horrible. I came here for an eye exam and I will never come back again. The old receptionist is so rude. I had a 2 o clock appt and her first comment was “ ugh well the doctor didn’t get to eat her lunch yet so she will get to you when she can” & she was so rude the rest of the time. Entire appt was rushed & just awful. Never again.
