If I could give 0 stars I would. I told receptionist over phone my insurance and she scheduled me. I arrived at my appointment and offered my insurance card to receptionist, she said “it’s ok you give it at the end”. I have been coming here for the past 2 years. At the end of my appointment I was asked for my insurance only to be told that they no longer take it. I had to pay for an appointment that should be included in my eye med ins. Was told the Dr doesn’t accept EYEMeD anymore . Annoyed to say the least . Thanks!

I dont normally write reviews but we used to go to union eye care which I was never very fond off. With them closing our Ohio AFSCME insurance is accepted at JCP. The doc was absolutely wonderful and took the time with me to explain everything. The staff helped me with the specials and to pick the best deal where I received the most for my dollar. I was able to get a years worth of contacts, not cheap ones. 2 Pairs of no line bifocals and the contact exam all for what I paid for one pair of glasses 2 1/2 years ago at union eye care. Was very surprised and happy. Have not picked up the glasses up but so far so good !!

Every employee there was amazing and extremely kind. My glasses were great and came earlier than expected.

The optometrist is great, his eye exams are complete. If you wear contacts, however, buy online, its so much cheaper (1/3 the price), so worth the hassle of getting reimbursed with vision insurance, IMO.

I am on disability and mentally slow. Shockingly, the manager there gave me my 1st really bad expierence. I spent $180 on glasses, which is cheap, but still a good amount of money.Buying the glasses went well, but when I picked them up - She would not even adjust them! I just kept insisting they were too tight and eventually she did adjust them. She would have been happy if I had just left, with really ill fitting glasses. Her behavior was shocking - Its her job to fit glasses! She was the manager!

Mixed feelings..... the Doctor was EXCELLENT! Extremely thorough, parientwand attentive. While picking out glasses the optician was very helpful to myself and my husband. When we picked them up she was short with us, pushy and a little rude. She told my hubs she couldnt tighten the frames around his ears because he ordered sunglass frames which was never mentioned when we ordered them. With me she was basically like.... here ya go. Oh.... let me tighten them, better?, ok bye. Put my old glasses in the case and got up and walked away. We werent there to be your best friend but its amazing to me how helpful they were when twice as busy and purchasing glasses as opposed to half as busy and you already got my money!! SMH!! We will ne back for the Doc but NOT to purchase glasses!

First off, the glasses were over a week later then promised. Ive had them a few months and a screw fell out and of course so did the lense.Paid about 300.00 for these and could have got same ones on line for about 100.00.
