Fixed refrigerator and drier same day and had all parts on hand. Hes quick blunt and to the point. A no nonesense type of guy and i like that. Everything is working great. Highly recommend

I have called A and J many timesI have always been spoken to promptly and although their window is big for arrival time they do keep their word. It usually takes a couple of days to get a part.They do not have a huge warehouse and there are many brands. Having said that I trust them and Tony is awesome! I wouldn’t call anyone else. Keep small local businesses going!!!!

Tony made a service call for the ancient dishwasher in our recently purchased condo. He was honest and told us it would cost over $300 for him to repair it. He told us not not bother and recommended a brand to purchase new - and no, they do not even sell appliances! Will absolutely use them for other issues in the future.

5 stars for service and concern. Last year fixed our washer and dryer for a very reasonable rate and when we recently had an issue with our refrigerators freezer, Vincent diagnosed it on a Saturday morning while we were on the phone and told me how to fix the issue. Highly recommend!UPDATE:A&J came through again this week. (5/19/21). This time for our dryer which needed some new parts and cleaning of the roof mounted filter and outlet. Terrific job, ordered a part needed and came back the next day to finish. Cannot recommend them enough.

Called for broken ice maker in refrigerator. Came out fixed it then said if it stops working we will have to order a part so of course it stopped working, they ordered a part and almost a month later we called to check on said part and all the sudden they have no recollection of any part ordered, nor do they have a way to look us up unless we have an invoice number, not able to look us up by name, phone number, service address, nothing. Tried calling after searching for the invoice they supposedly left us. Have called numerous times for 2 weeks and not even an answer or call back. Would NOT recommend super unprofessional.

I can not recommend this company more highly. Freezer in my six-year old LG refrigerator was frosting heavily. Called early Monday evening and was happy to find someone in the office. Vincent arrived the very next day and after reviewing the issue, he concluded that the door may have been left open. He suggested I empty and turn the appliance off for twenty-four hours and then restart, which is exactly what I did. I was happy to find the appliance ran in perfect condition. He could have told me it needed a new motor and I would have believed him. Honesty counts a great deal and he represented his company in a professional and courteous manner. Great job!

Terrible company. I called on a Sunday morning for a noisy, burning smell refrigerator. They came on Monday afternoon after recommending it be unplugged. They plugged it in but it didnt have any symptoms. The tech said to leave it plugged in and send him a video of the sound when it happened. The video was sent to the tech at 6 am on Tuesday, but he never responded. I called on Wednesday, and he said he was busy but the problem was the defrost on the freezer, and he would send me the estimate to repair. We didnt receive anything Wednesday or Thursday. I contacted on Friday morning, and he said he would send the estimate to repair right away. I did not receive anything from him, and on the following Monday (8 days after calling them to repair my fridge) I began to leave negative reviews about this company, so no one else is robbed of an $89 service fee and never received the needed repair.

I paid to have an ice maker replaced. They fixed the original issue by removing a jammed ice cube but told me I needed a new ice maker which I paid for up front and NEVER RECEIVED. I called multiple times and they quite returning my calls. I am out $172.

Came out to repair fridge. It worked for 3 or 4 weeks. Called 2 times before i received a call back. Said the tech Marcus would call. Took him 5 days to call & I missed it. Then he got very smart alecy through text and said i should have answered when he called me. 6pm on Friday after waiting all week! Never would reply or call me back. Wound up having to buy a new fridge.Wont use this company again.

Incredibly well. Tony is a saint and hes very honest. He wanted to trouble shoot over the phone first before having to come out. He was very generous and didnt want to have to charge me if he could help me fix the problem. Because he was so kind I actually wanted to pay him for his time. Anyway, he told me what to check and how to trouble shoot and I was able to fix the fridge by myself. I highly recommend hiring this company, and I have already suggested A&J Applicance Repair Service to several people in my development!

WARNING! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! The company sent out a repair technician who assessed our refrigerator issue as a simple solution. He required a part which he informed us he would order the day of his visit. He quoted us a estimated time the part would arrive and informed us of the cost and then WE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. He took $85.00 from us for a down payment for the service and thats was the last time we saw him. I called the company and left messages only for the to tell me the part was on back over. Its now be a month since there original visit and the refrigerator is still not fixed.

A & J Appliance repair is excellent! Last year they fixed the dryer in my home. Today, I called them with an issue with my washer. The Owner Tony called me back, and walked me through how to reset the dryer. Within 10 minutes the washer was working perfectly. There was no service call, no fees. He just wanted to ensure my problem was resolved. Truly excellent service!

Vinnie was a great repairman - clean cut, respectful, and knowledgeable. He is a co-owner of the business. He looked at my dryer and dishwasher. He also answered a ton of my questions on my double oven and did not charge for the questions. I got a discount by having him look at two appliances (not two full service charges.) He provided me with full repair quotes and offered two options on the dryer - change thermostats and change heating element with thermostats since he was in there. By doing it all at once, it will save me money in the long run. He didnt push either option. Just gave me the facts. Quick response to come out for the service call.

I’ve used A&J on multiple occasions. Every time a tech comes to my house it’s a different experience; however, its never been a bad one. Due to the quality how appliances are made today they are always fair and very educated. They’re known for knowledge on what to do instead of filling the wallet.

I spoke with someone this evening about getting a service call for my washing machine. He not only answered the phone at 8:00pm, but was extremely knowledgeable. After asking a couple questions he started giving me a list of symptoms I might see - when I told him we did see those symptoms he told me it would be more beneficial to buy a new one than spend the money on a repair. Im not even a regular customer and he cares enough about his potential customers to be honest and lose the service call. Any repair I need or anyone I know needs, Im sending them to A&J. Hands down, I wont ever go anywhere else ever again.Thank you!

A & J (Marcus) put a new motor and pump in my dishwasher last summer. I left him a key and a check he did the rest, and at a very fair price. Months later, upon arrival this winter, I did a DYI install on a new garbage disposal, only to discover that the DW was no longer draining.Bad me, I had not removed an internal drain plug. A & J talked me through what to do and got me up and running at no cost. These are really good folks to work with.

Top Notch! Owner called me back within 15 minutes of leaving message. Scheduled service for that day. Tech arrived 2 hours later! I thought I needed 2 appliances repaired.but was told that only one was worth repairing - this honesty saved me from a $500 repair. Parts had to be ordered for the other appliance. Within an hour of leaving, tech called to let me know the cost of the part, and when it would be installed. Great customer service and communication!

I was having an issue with my freezer frosting up on me, and I called A&J appliance in Stuart Florida and they sent out their tech, his name is Marcus. Marcus was fabulous he was fast efficient very, very helpful. I needed a switch for the light in the fridge and he jumped through hoops trying to get that switch and he did! Marcus went way out of his way and was extremely helpful! I’d reccommend him to anyone.

So the complaints about the gentleman answering the phone I can understand. He is kinda rough. I do understand getting the credit card up front, they can not go around diagnosing people problems and not get paid. They made a service call same day. They diagnosed the problem and will be out to fix it tomorrow. Not having down time on a fridge in a rental unit means a lot to my tenants. The quick service alone is worth the 5 stars.

I called last night to have my dryer repaired. I did get a call back in a reasonable time however I felt the guy was a bit off in how he spoke to me. Gave me a time between 11-4 for the next day. At 3:45 I get a call from the tech saying he is on the side of the road with a flat tire and can’t make it today. He asked for model number said he’d order parts and schedule another day to come back and that he wouldn’t have had all the parts anyway. I would expect a company that is coming to my house for a specific reason described to the guy the night before to have all the parts.

Same day this awesome company came out and fixed my refrigerator! What was awesome was that every person from the phone call to Tony (our service guy) were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous! They had to come multiple times to fix our refrigerator because they did it wrong the first time, then said its just water and ice acting like its not a big deal. My frig wasnt freezing or holding its cold. Chose A&J because of their positive reviews. The diagnosed problem: motor needed replaced. Tony (the Anthony in A&J) quoted a price, explained why he knew what the problem was and what the problem would be if it wasnt fixed. He was old-fashioned courteous and respectful and worked with the quick skill of a professional who knows his craft. They came, they saw, they conquered and they were done with everything in less than an hour. And my frig: chillin !!Call them . . . youll appreciate their quality of service.

A & J did a great job. The tech was on time professional and even thought to ask what brand appliance, and what was the problem. So he had a few different replacement parts with him.Fixed in 30 minutes no waiting for another trip with the correct part. Smart.I recommend them highly.

Very impressed with their service. We bought appliances from Guaranteed Appliances at 2515 SE Bonita St, Stuart, FL 34997(what a nightmare). We called A&J after many failed attempts to get Guaranteed Appliance to come fix 4 out of the 5 appliances we bought. Finally, when our laundry room flooded because the rigged washer wires had heated up and melted a hose(!!!) We called A&J and they came out immediately. A&J diagnosed all the problems and were very professional and knowledgeable.

AVOID this repair company. They mis-represent themselves, their services and costs. They communicate poorly, showed up 1.5 hours late AND then required a service fee for telling me that I needed a new heating element - which is EXACTLY what I asked them to install when I called them. And no - they didnt bother to order it. They also (falsely) said other parts MUST ALWAYS be changed along with the element - or else the new element wont work. Thats completely false information according to an Amana rep. Old fashioned lousy service approach. They deserve zero stars.

Probably the worst experience Ive had with a repair company. Technician was inattentive, argumentative and condescending.Owner was no help. Very unprofessional.

Called for service and the service call was $69.95, was making an appointment for service on my washing machine and when I gave my address was told that because I lived on Nettles Island, the service call was $89.95. I asked why and was told, “that’s just the way the boss does it”. I said that did not make since and was told because we are condos, we may be a condo association, we are regular homes. This does not make sense to me.

Literally the worst service company of any kind Ive ever delt with. Zero communication with the customer and a huge time window in which to expect them. I was spoken to very disrespectfully by the phone operator with profane language when I was exactly 2 minutes late for the service call

They guy answering the phone isnt any better either. They tell me I need a certain part and spend over $300 to still not have it fixed. I run a family business and would never dream of treating my customers this way. I will post a review anywhere I can to get the word out NOT to use this company.
