Took a charm in to get engraved and when i picked it up it was ALL scratched up! Front AND back! They denied scratching it saying that’s how i brought it in but that was impossible because i went to James Avery to buy it then walked to things remembered right after! It was brand new! There was no way i took it in like that!!!! They didn’t even bother apologizing or anything just kept denying it. The name engraved was tiny and wasn’t even centered! Also i took it in Saturday and they said to pick it up Tuesday any time my husband went in around 5-6 they said it wasn’t ready that it would be ready at 8 which he didn’t want to wait so left. I called Wednesday after they opened and no one would answer! I called several times till someone finally answered and they said it wasn’t ready 🤦🏻♀️ I told them it was supposed to be ready the day before so the lady said they would have it ready in an hour that they would text me....3 hours later nothing. I called and they said it was ready that they just didn’t have a chance to call because they were so busy which i completely understood because of the holidays. But yeah was very upset with the scratching. Do not go here unless you want your stuff returned to you all scratched up!!!!
I dropped off a brand new heart urn to be engraved for my mothers ashes. It took two days for it to be ready which is understandable due to the holiday season. When I picked it up I made sure everything was spelled correctly which it was. It was a busy evening at the mall and I had just got off from work so I didnt think to look at it entirely. I got home and noticed that it had scratches all over it! As if they been tossing it around! How could they be so careless of something so special and unique? Im so disappointed!
Never going here again. Not only did they give inaccurate estimates on ready date, they also incorrectly engraved my friends birthday gift and did not care to fix the problem. Definitely remembering this.
I was a little apprehensive about getting an engraving due to the recent reviews, but the associate who helped me was very helpful and polite! She did an excellent job with the engraving.
I purchased an item to be engraved on Saturday 12/19. I was told by Kandice that my item would be ready that following Tuesday 12/22. When we tried to pick it up, it wasnt ready and we were told that Kandice gave me wrong information. I was promised it would be ready by 11 am the next morning, 12/23. When I arrived that next day around 12:45, I was told by Taralynn, who I believe is the assistant manager that she couldnt find a plate that would fit my item. I told her that Kandice had the plate when I purchased it. I guess somehow they lost it. When I asked why no one called me to tell me this sooner, she said she was going to call me but got busy. There I was with a day and a half left before Christmas and no gift. I dont know if this is how they normally conduct business or just the holiday craze, but I wouldnt recommend them nor will I give them any more of my business.

I placed an order yesterday, never received confirmation or a text that it was ready. When I go to pick up the order today, my item was never pulled nonetheless engraved! This almost made me late to my event. Luckily the gentleman that was there engraved my item on the spot. This is unacceptable!!

I went to the store on First Colony Mall. Me and my daughter were browsing for some mugs, when we heard a loud open sneeze behind us. The employee was not wearing her mask at the moment (we were) and based on the sound, it looked like she didn’t cover her face, otherwise it would’ve sound muffled. We got out of the store immediately. Unfortunately I had to return later since I had to buy a present. I asked her if she had any hand sanitizer and she told me that the company sent some but the smell was disgusting. So I guess she decided not to have it available. It didn’t feel right in these days and times where businesses have to be extra considerate with customers, as we face this pandemic and try to return safely to the stores. If businesses are not extra careful they’ll lose customers.
ABSOLUTELY Horrendous service!!! I dropped an item off to be engraved and for 4 days, no one called to follow up. Whenever I would call to see when it would be ready I was guaranteed it would be ready that day! After 4 days they told me they couldnt engrave the item and turned me away after my FIFTH phone call.
Came 3 days ago to purchase 2 items, asked for them to be engraved & was advised he (Eric) couldn’t do it. (Only because it was closing time). He gave me the price & let me know I could come back. I come back today & get charged a different price as a “carry in “ item. I explained again to him the previous & he recalled but it changed nothing. They definitely won’t get my business again.
When you step in the store, you can sense how disorganized it is, and poorly managed. If you dont really care how the engraving turns out, this is your place. However, if you have something very important to engrave, avoid this Things Remembered. Screwed up my engraving order, did not apologize, and did nothing other than offer to replace it.

Terrible customer service! Waited for an hour with a toddler to place an order in store.They suggested I come back in 2 days due to busy season, so I don’t have to wait. Well, I showed up on Sunday to find out they lost my order (after they made me wait for 30min).Unprofessional manager didn’t even apologize and offered to ship it to me the very next day with a Wednesday delivery. Called them on Wednesday night to find out they shipped my order Tuesday, so will “most likely” receive my order on Thursday.With so many online options, you won’t surely see me at this store ever again. Disappointing!

Horrible horrible service. Bought something online told it would be ready today. Go into the store just to be made to wait over 30 min because they cannot find my order. They come back to tell me the computer messed up and they don’t have the item. I don’t understand how they didn’t find out this in the morning and gave people a call. Also in-front of me they misspelled several peoples engravings and it was the last item them had. Honestly worst store ever.
