I called on a Monday from Florida to order a platter for a family members funeral back home to be held on the following Thursday, to be picked up by my father. The person on the phone didnt know how to ring up the custom platter that I wanted, so she handed the phone to another lady, who took my order... a dozen balls and 3lb of boudin, and because that was not on the menu, I would have to pay for each item as listed on the menu, i.e. $x.xx per pound and ball. My father just arrived, and gave them the information the second woman had for the order, and he was told the order did not exist they never received an order... when I told him to just ask if they can take the items I wanted and put it on a platter that would fit accordingly, they wanted to charge him way more than what I was told on the phone. So frustrated he just got the items separately and went home to cut the boudin in bite sized bits and arrange his own platter. This was enormously inconvenient. The order process needs to be looked at and improved. Im giving them a 2 star review because we did receive the items we wanted, à la carte, and it is not the workers fault the system is flawed.

We were searching for sausage to bring back home. We were not having any luck. This shop popped up on the GPS, we said what the heck even though it isnt right on the freeway, it was easy to find...the help, superb... Not knowing what we wanted exactly, they walked us right through all of their different sausages ...we left with a mountain of sausages, pork skins, and most of all a great experience and a happy memory...Thanks to the staff...

Quaint, little Mom & Pop grocery. Been here forever, burned once, the family rebuilt, the entire community was pleased. The make their own beef jerky, it is so good.Yo, hunters! They process deer meat!

The seasoning they make is incredible. Perfect blend of spices. I live 2 hours away and will make the trip to buy it.

The french fries, fried chicken and bread were soggy and cold. I only had 2 small meatballs in the fricassee.

Stopped by while we were on road trip after looking for legit boudin. This place did not disappoint! Allowed us to try several different things before making a decision. Owner on premises and very friendly; super clean. Smoked boudin & boudin balls were great! We took a cooler full of boudin & alligator sausage home. They have tables set up outside to eat whatever you buy that is cooked. We will be back!

I got homemade pork skins and they were GOOD! I really had never liked the prepackaged ones before. I hope I can get some more soon. They are trying to get my ketone level elevated, because it is low.

Best Cracklins Ive found in 80 mills radious of Beaumont, TX. Made daily, friendly staff. Very busy around noon. Thats always a good sign.

Oh yes! Small but happy little place! Service with a little laughter and fun. The boudain is fresh and the andouille is made perfectly. They serve with a smile and it smells like fresh smoked meat here. They have small pies, drinks and picnic benches to sit on outside. After you hit the casinos come by here to take a little lagniappe with you( maybe theyll give you a cracklin to taste) I suggest bringing an ice chest to keep it fresh and dont forget the cracklins they have delightful cracklins ! Tell them Carolle sent you. They wont know who in the heck youre talking about but it would be funny ;)...

The lady was really rude and I didnt even get to eat anything.

Only the boudin and cracklins are one star. maybe if I try the sausage I may adjust the rating. the boudin was white; I have never seen white boudin and it tasted like plain rice. terrible. I would be embarrassed to sell someone food like that. cracklins had no seasoning. just steer clear of those 2 or waste your money and stay hungry because your dog wont even eat that. Especially if the dog is a true cajun like me.☺
