Got me in quickly when another Subaru dealer did a sub-par brake job. Got the rotors delivered next day. Even opened another set of pads and used the shim kit in it because the other dealership forgot that part and there was no time to order it before I had to drive 7 hrs to California for a medical appt. Gil, the service manager, was the go between for me with the other manager and got a fair refund for me for the labor on the brake job. Glenn the service advisor kept me informed throughout the process, too. Beautiful waiting area also, with free snacks and Starbucks coffee. Spotlessly clean facility. I was treated so well that I decided to buy a vortex generator for my WRX and then order some other customization for the car. I returned to AZ to have them installed. If possible, I will return there for my service. I only wish I lived nearby.
I had an exceptional time getting my new Crosstrek. It was the first car I had ever purchased and the experience was great. Not a trusted dealership if you are looking to buy a vehicle from this dealership. Vehicles they had on hand to show were limited, given the chip shortage. Understandable. Although when given notice, we asked if any of their sister dealerships may have the vehicle that we would like. Instead of referring us to a sister dealership they decided to continue to waste our time, show us a SOLD vehicle and let us test drive it adding more mileage to a SOLD vehicle. After deciding to just wait, they continued to explain that if we don’t preorder the vehicle we would expect our chosen vehicle to be here within 3 months. Reiterating our decision to wait they push the time of expecting a vehicle within 6 months. We were in no rush.Leaving the dealership, we decided to visit their sister dealership in Peoria. And the vehicle that we wanted was sitting right in their lot. Clearly the surprie dealership did not have our best interest and will continue with anyone else who walks through their doors.

We recently purchased a 2021 Subaru Forester Touring. Our salesperson, Mark Tabor was phenomenal! We stopped by on a weekend basically doing a drive through to look at inventory and we got Marks card. Three weeks later we were back and Mark took great care of us. Walked us through all the options, details, test drive and we decided on the Forester Touring. Incredible vehicle. We test drove one back in 2018 while vacationing and we decided then were were interested in owning one.My wife came back for the personalized instruction for all the features this vehicle has, and most importantly, Subaru has one of the highest safety ratings. I love Subaru the company, but the dealer is shady and worked more money into my contract and hid it pretty well, to the tune of almost $1000. Since I was new to the state, after reviewing it at home.. did I finally realize it.I called, and they have yet to fix it. They wont get my business. I will say, go elsewhere, watch out for costs of things already on the car added on without telling you.

I had a Surprisingly easy time buying a car here! I worked with Mark Mauer and a salesman named Michael, and they were both friendly and informative. The best part was they made my experience easier for me than any other dealer. They presented the lowest price around, and communicated in a timely manner via email. I went to another dealer (also another brand) who wouldnt even answer a single question via email and just replied with call me. I also had a nice time test driving at Surprise. They even had another position, like a delivery driver or someone, give me a rundown on stuff he knew when they were unavailable just so I could still be learning about the car instead of just waiting around. Great service all around!
Kyler and Jersey Mike are awesome! I cant speak highly enough of these two guys. They both answered all of my questions and treated me professionally and courteously on each of my visits-I went a few times to see a used outback and new outback and although I didnt end up buying-they were still eager to help find me my dream car. The dealership is sparkling clean, all members of the staff, including the manager (John, I think!) were friendly and smiling. I highly recommend this dealership for their incredible customer service, patience and understanding for humans. Theres no pushiness that I was expecting as a first time new car buyer, either.

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind but I’m really happy with my experience thus far. Tito was our salesman and he was a really nice, laid back guy that didn’t put any pressure on us. We took 3 days to decide what we wanted to do and he was really patient and prompt with answering our questions and addressing our concerns. We purchased a 2020 Ascent and it’s a really nice ride. Drives very smooth, has amazing pick up and handles u-turns like a dream. The dealership has agreed to fix an issue with the windshield and once that is resolved I will be extremely pleased. We highly recommend Subaru Surprise for so many reasons! I want to start by saying that we’ve had our share of pushy, lying car salesman when purchasing a vehicle in the past and we went in with our guard up. We decided to purchase an Outback from this dealership due to the great treatment we have received from previous visits when we brought our Crosstrek for service. Tori and Dave made sure the process was smooth, fast and painless. Todd explained the financial side of things as well as educated us on what other options were available without being pushy or pressuring us. I was very impressed with the technology set up in the financing office used for signing the paperwork. The store is fairly new, everything is very well maintained and clean. I noticed multiple times during my time there the receptionist going around and Clorox cleaning the doors and other surfaces.
I wasn’t even in the market to buy a new Subaru last month, however, my bank had a Subaru Trade-Up program that seemed too good to be true. Being the skeptic that I am, I called the Surprise Subaru Superstore to see if it was even worth my time. I mean, could I trade in my 2020 Forrester for a brand new one and keep my payment around the same price? Right off the bat, I was working with a no-nonsense, “let’s get this done because I don’t want to waste your time,” manager who clearly not only valued me as a customer but also my time AND my busy schedule. Mark was fantastic. He did all the work behind the scenes before I even stepped foot into the dealership. In fact, the only traditional car buying experience I had this whole time was waiting for the customers who also bought a new vehicle to finish signing their loan documents. This was the quickest, most easy going, no pressure, amazing car buying experience I’ve had.... well, since buying my first Subaru 16 months ago! I wrote in my last review that I will never buy from another dealer and this experience only solidified that for me.To be honest, the best part for me was the way I was treated. Being that this car is my car, knew what I wanted and knew that the deal may or may not work, they never did that thing that a lot of skeezy dealerships do and talk down to me because I’m a woman. They didn’t ask me for my husband once and the only time he was even involved was to help me pick out the color and to sign the loan documents!So, thank you, Mark and Subaru Superstore of Suprise for not wasting my time, being super awesome to work with and for just being as no-nonsense as me! Other dealerships need to follow your example because this is how buying a car should be!

We recently purchased a 2021 Subaru Forester from these shysters and traded in our 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. We purchased the Crosstrek a little over a year ago. We were the second owners of this Crosstrek and found out after we purchased it, it had been a little more “loved” than what we wanted, but we took very good care of the vehicle and had it serviced regularly at the Subaru Superstore of Chandler. Before we decided to trade in our Crosstrek, we did some trade in comparisons. The dealership had us send in some photographs of the vehicle for an initial trade in appraisal and we agreed on a figure of $17,500.00 with Subaru Superstore of Surprise. When we arrived to pick up our Forester, we met with Bradley, our sales person, who showed us the vehicle we were purchasing. This is where things started to take downward turn. First before we arrived at the dealership they led us to believe they had all the financing secured. However, this was not the case. While we were looking at our new vehicle, Jonathan Hennke and another individual were inspecting our Crosstrek. We went inside and had to “refill” out paperwork that had already been completed online. Then they came to us after they had inspected our vehicle to let us know they were only going to be able to offer us $15,800.00 for our Crosstrek. There was some damage to the roof (antenna & foot of the roof rail) that was not repaired before we purchased the vehicle. They also accused us of the vehicle hitting something, however as we have had this vehicle serviced several times, we were aware the front bumper was missing some pins. These shysters told us they were going to have to put about $3,000.00 worth of work into the vehicle in order to resell it. Not even a week has passed by since the trade-in, and the vehicle is listed on their website for $20,999.00 (more than we paid for the vehicle a year ago) and we guarantee they have not fixed these so called “issues.” We love the Subaru brand, but we do not recommend purchasing your vehicle here because they are not honest, use bait and switch tactics, and waste your time by not honoring completion of online paperwork. We cannot say this was a great purchase experience at Subaru Superstore of Surprise like they wanted us to, or leave them with a good review, as they pushed us to do in our good conscious of other potential buyers.
Out of all the Subaru dealerships in the valley, this is the place to go! The people here are ridiculously friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We got the best price for our Subaru here. Go see Brandon in sales! Mike, the general manager, is incredibly personable and wants all of his customers happy. A quality run place!!! The next time we are in a market for a Subaru, we are coming straight here. Thank you all again!

I had my car towed yesterday to Subaru superstore because it wouldnt go forward or backward. They got right on it. It was an easy fix and they didnt charge me anything. They even paid for Uber! I did have them change my oil and rotate tires.
WOW! A completely stress-free experience from start to finish. Tito Cotto, our Sales Associate was friendly, professional and so knowledgeable about the car we were interested in. When we had our hearts set on a color combination that wasnt available Mark Mauer, the General Manager, searched for and found exactly the one we wanted. I cant say enough about how special they made us feel.
Barely has any inventory and they dont have the best prices plus they are located in the middle of no where there service department is nice but very expensive to repair things, they always have new salesman everytime I go there so you can see theres a lot of turnaround there because everytime I call its someone new. There Owner Richard dosent seem like he knows how to run dealerships and none of them have good managers as well as General Managers, the salesman look miserable there.

Well first and foremost, I approached the dealership for a specific car they had in their inventory. I find it helpful to know what you want and dont want coming through the door, personally. Anyway, I got a helpful salesman on the phone named Justen. Although I dont think its their standard operating procedure, I asked if he could bring the specific car to my house for a test drive. I was elated when he cleared it with whoever, came all the way from Surprise to my house in North Phoenix/Paradise Valley and took my husband and I out on a test drive. Even under those circumstances he didnt push or make me feel obligated in an uncomfortable way. Again, it helps to know what you want. I loved the car, the way it fit me, the bells and whistles I was interested in, the reputation for quality and durability, plus its cute! We did as much of the paperwork as we could right in my dining room. Later, that day my husband and I went out to the dealership to finish all the financing stuff, etc. I look forward to that part like I anticipate a dentist visit, but it was a lot less painful! Nice and efficient! Since Ive had the car and gotten more familiar with it, I love it even more. So much fun learning about the paddle shifters, the Eyesight feature, all the apps and little surprises. This is the first car Ive had that automatically dimmed my high beams when it detects oncoming traffic, little things like that make the driving experience such a joy. So far, really happy with my purchase and my experience with Subaru Superstore of Surprise!

First-time Subaru owner here, and The Subaru Superstore in Surprise made my car buying experience seamless and easy. My husband inquired about a used vehicle that they had on their lot through CarGurus.com. Justen immediately replied and had the car ready for us upon arrival. Surprise is about 45 minutes away from home, but Justen was so eager and willing to help that we decided to take a chance and make the drive to view the vehicle.I knew nothing about Subarus, and to be honest, it was more my husband’s inquiry that made us look. I had my eyes set on a Cherokee. But by the end of the test drive, I knew I would quickly become a Subaru owner. Justen was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and had an answer to almost every impossible question I could come up with. I could tell instantly that he wasn’t just a car salesman but rather a Subaru lover who happened to be selling cars. I was so impressed with him.After some painless negotiating, the store manager gave us a great deal. This negotiating was not scary, Justen was patient and the manager was more than willing to meet us at a number we were very comfortable with. They worked with us and I could not have been happier with the results. My new Subaru Forester is a dream and the entire sales process was unlike any car buying experience I’ve had before! Will likely go back when I’m ready to trade in my other vehicle.

So I just call the service department because I have problems with my windows they dont go down only the driver side also I got problems with the RPM changing gears and possible Transmission problems that might cause really damage to the Engine!!! And I get the next available appointment on the 20th of this month...2 weeks from now!!! Not really happy at all...whats going to happen if the Transmission blows or the Engine??? Wait for my appointment????

I just purchased a used Forester from this dealership on March 11, 2018. I was pleased with all aspects of the purchase process. My salesman Jack Callaghan (from the Chandler location), was very friendly and helpful in getting everything arranged for me prior to my arrival. I arrived on a Friday evening around 6pm and was immediately assisted by Charles McFarland, who was expecting me and had the car ready and waiting. He took me for a test drive and was patient to answer all of my questions. I than went into the finance department and worked with Dusty, who was a pleasure to deal with. Dusty had everything prepared and he made it easy to get through all the electronic paperwork. I was finished and headed out in my Forester in less than 2 hours. The entire staff was wonderful to work with. They really helped me get into a car that I was truly comfortable and in love with! I have been a loyal customer to Subaru for many years now but had the best experience at this location.Diane was on top of getting the cars for me to test drive and was so educating on the different features since I was deciding between a legacy or forester. Lori is the best at trying her best to find color combos that I truly loved. Had the pleasure of meeting the GM who really did his best working around the lease deal. Shelby, finance manager, was absolutely great and thorough with explaining each and every form and even gave us great tips on saving money down the line. I have only dealt with the service department at this dealership and I was not impressed. Ive had to call twice and each time the young gentleman who has answered the phone is very condescending and makes you feel like you dont know anything. The only reason why I didnt give it one star was because of the one time I had to go and physically the older gentleman at the counter was very nice and helpful.Even though its further, Ill stick with the Subaru dealership service department in Peoria.

The service department exceeds expectations every time. The staff is friendly and billing/estimates are accurate. The repair was done on time and our vehicle returned clean. While there, we looked at new Subarus. We were extremely impressed that the General Manager, Mark Mauer, took the time to talk to us and discuss our upcoming vehicle needs before handing us over to a sales person. Im sure he is very busy, but you would have thought we were his only priority at the time.

I bought my first Subaru from Subaru Superstore of Surprise about a month ago and it has been a great experience working with them. I loved Joe Skeens approach to sales. He was very low pressure and willing to make sure all my questions were answered. He also followed up a couple times after the purchase to make sure I was happy and see if I had any other questions. Great salesman and great experience. Also had a really good experience with Scott in finance and Brandon in service (no problems with the car it’s great just decided to do a couple add ons to protect it so that’s why I’ve already worked with the service department). Absolutely love the car so far. I bought it because I needed something that was better for my back than the Infiniti Q50 I was driving and the Ascent has been a huge help in that regard. It’s much more comfortable. I thought I’d really miss the acceleration of the Q50, but I like the Ascent so much I haven’t actually missed that at all and it accelerates better than expected. Go see Joe and I’m confident you’ll have a great experience with him too.

Our first experience with this dealership was for a recall on our 2013 Outback. From the initial phone call to Glenn in service through to the completion of the recall, everyone in the service department was great. While there Glenn introduced us to Travis in sales. Travis, who is extremely knowledgeable of Subarus, spent a great deal of time showing us the features of new Outbacks and answering our many questions. We were considering a new vehicle at some point, probably a year down the road. We went back to see Travis a couple of weeks after the recall service to ask more questions and to do a test drive. We were planning to become a one vehicle family and wanted to see if we should rule the Outback in or out of contention. Well, after careful consideration, and a great buying experience, we drove our new 2018 Outback home that afternoon! To make our trade transition easier for us Travis rode with us to our home to pickup our trade thus saving us a trip back to the dealership (45 miles one-way). Service with a smile! Dusty was very informative during the financing process and made the process simple and enjoyable. Tinas training session relating to the many features of navigation, media, and security was excellent. We were looking for a great car and a great Dealership and we found both!

I have a 5 year old Outback. The Blind spot detectors malfunctioned. I was told by my dealer that it would take about 4 hours to fix, but they could not give me a loaner or a ride home. I decided to try Subaru Superstore and Gil the manager offered a loaner.I brought in the my car and because of the specialized parts needed for the repair I had to wait 4 days to get my car back. I had an almost new Crosstrek as a loaner so I was not stranded.When I returned to pick up my car not only was Blind Spot Detector replaced but Gil (the service manager) had a wheel well molding replaced under warranty.I brought in my car for 1 problem and they fixed 2 and washed it as well.I am impressed with this company, I did not buy my car here, it was the first time I did service here and Gil and Brandon went out of their way to do a great job for me. They can count on me coming back here in the future.Thanks for a job well done.Dan

My husband and I were looking into a new family vehicle and heard great things about the Ascent. We have always been a Toyota family, so we were a little skeptical to try a Subaru. Heather greeted us almost immediately as we walked up to the building. She showed us the showroom car, answered all our questions and if she was unsure about something, she didn’t pretend to know the answer and instead asked someone else to make sure we were getting the correct answer. It was the most honest car buying experience we’ve ever had. We loved everything about the car and purchased it. While looking at the Ascent, my husband fell in love with the WRX. She was again honest with answering his questions and we ended up purchasing two cars that day. Heather even stayed past her shift to help us complete the purchases and watched us drive away in our two new beautiful cars. The dealership was never pushy and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. The car buying experience didn’t end when we walked out either. Heather has followed up with us, made sure we had everything we needed and if we had questions. The car dealership was clean, everyone was kind, a little skeptical on the delivery person unfortunately, but overall I recommend a Subaru, this dealership and ask for Heather!! . I can honestly say I don’t miss my Toyota and we’d buy from them again in the future!
The service department is by far the best I have ever encountered. They are honest, helpful and and friendly. They never try to persuade you to get a repair unless they are actually necessary. They never hesitate to educate you on your cars condition. I have a 2005 suburu impreza and whenever they inspect my car they do a thorough job. They also explain which services they think should or should not be done and why based on the life left in my car. Extremely professional and friendly, I cant say enough. I was going to the Peoria location for quite a few years and you cant compare them. My expectations are exceeded at the Surprise location every time. I would give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could. Excellent people, excellent service!

I went in for a recall on my 2007 Outback and never thought I would be walking out with a new Crosstrek. Tori made the whole process easy and made the experience one to remember. I have never had an easier car buying experience and I definitely will be back for my next Subaru and highly recommend them for anyone looking to purchase a Subaru.
If you dont read further than this just know this dealership is top notch across the board.Walking into the dealership I had the exact vehicle in mind I wanted to test drive, down to the stock number. Collette greeted me right away and after a brief discussion I was able to drive the car I had in mind. This is incredibly important because my experience in the past with other dealerships has been for the sales staff to direct me to a completely different vehicle or a more expensive vehicle. Collette was very knowledgeable and patient. She answered every question I had from vehicle details to trade in and financing. As we moved closer to the finalization of the deal, Charles provided great support and effort to make a deal. Completing the finance details with Dusty was a breeze and again every question I had was answered in solid detail. Tina was a great help going over the set up of the vehicle and giving me pointers for the owners manual and infotainment system.Overall, this purchase experience was incredible. Each staff member was kind, patient, helpful, and spoke to me as a person instead of a payday. I highly recommend Subaru Superstore of Surprise.
