I have been coming to Surprise Car Care for years. We only have one car between my husband and I now. So we really need it to work. I took my old car here and now I bring my current car here. So when the car broke down we brought it in and they had in fixed in a hurry. And it cost way less than what we expected. So I didnt have to miss any work or break the bank! And the people who work there are very friendly too. Thank you all so much!

I called the shop wondering if they would be able to replace my motor and transmission mounts. Chris informed me that they absolutely could and he would even be able to get me in and out that same day. He explained to me what they would do and how much it would be. I received a text message showing me everything they inspected and would need attention in the near future(which I felt was pretty cool). Next I received a call stating my truck was ready and not a penny more was added to the total he had quoted me from the beginning. Now my truck drives like new again.

Had to bring my car three times for fuel pump replacement, hopefully it is done correct this time. Really thought this place had great reviews but in my case sadly disappointed. Well car died the next day and had to have it towed again. Now mechanic error. GEEZE NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Brought my 1968 Buick Riviera in last week to have them evacuate my AC refrigerant to allow me to replace a defective expansion valve. I do most of my own work and this car has been in my family since new. These guys really know their stuff! Not only did they do the refrigerant recovery while I waited but I learned some great tips from the mechanic Paul during the process. They did a great job with my Ford escape! They had a full lot but they were still able to service me within a couple of days. I needed work done on my coolant bypass valve. They were very kind to me and not pushy like other car places can be. I felt comfortable there! I will definitely go again and recommend to others.

A tire popped in front of me in the freeway and went under my car causing my skid plate to completely come off. I came into them flustered and nervous because I just moved out here alone and didnt know where to go. They took my car in even though they were busy and I didnt call ahead and helped me to know what part I needed. I ordered my part and came back and they fixed it in about 45 minutes. These workers are so kind and comforting when I was flustered. They did an amazing job!!

Came to Gilbert Car Care (GCC) for suspension issue; spoke with James. Turned out to need parts replaced under manufacturers warranty. James scoured the entire US to find the parts I needed and had them shipped in at his expense, only to have the manufacturer insist that the work needed to be done at a dealership in order to be covered by warranty. GCC could easily have charged me, at least for an inspection and maybe an alignment, to offset the lost cost of shipping my parts, but were TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL and up-front. To me, TRUST is the single most important attribute for a business to have. I will go back in a heartbeat if I need auto service in the future.

I had a short time to get my truck to pass emissions and there was a loud knocking noise coming from under my truck. We took the car to the dealership to be checked out before bringing it to Surprise Car Care. We were told that the car needed about 2k in work from the dealership to get the AC working again. Mark at Surprise Car Care was really great right over the phone giving quotes of how much the work would be if the issues were found to be the same has reported by the dealership and the cost was much lower. A estimate evaluation was also a really affordable cost. Once we brought the car in they got the Ac working again right then and there without the compressor needing to be replaced as the dealership had said needed to be done. Mark advised that the switch did still indeed need replaced but the compressor did not which was a MUCH lower cost-!!!..- My mom is on a fixed income this honesty was more then appreciated by her & our whole family. Was traveling through AZ with my truck and tow camper when my air conditioner went out.. in August. As I baked in the 118 degree sun, I called a couple of places quoted me around $1800 for parts and labor.That seemed ridiculously high, but so did driving another mile without AC. I decided to get some other quotes and I am SO glad I did...I called Surprise Car Care.They took care of me right away, allowed me a space to unhook my camper, And had me back up and running in a day...I also had them give me a synthetic blend oil change... and it was over $800 less than the other guys!!!It was the best car repair experience I’ve ever had.I hope I never break down again, but if I do and I’m within a 100 miles of AZ, I’m going to Surprise Car Care!

Mark and his crew diagnosed and fixed a tricky cooling problem on my 2004 GMC 6.0 2500 4WD PU that I had bought new and was like new with less than 53,000 miles on it. It appeared to be a bad thermostat but went much deeper. It turned out to be a bad sector in my radiator that was very hard to diagnose. They done a timely and great job on replacing my radiator and topping off my A/C freon level. Went into their shop looking like new and came out looking like new and running great. I needed a new battery for my Mercedes C300. Richard was very prompt in getting me scheduled and while Camden was checking each of the systems in my car, identified I needed a new engine air filter and a new cabin air filter, which has had a significant impact in the interior air quality of my car. They filled my tires with air and I was able to pickup that afternoon. Really happy to have found Surprise Car Care and will be taking my car to them for service going forward.

The only knock i could mention is location - not a very convenient location - but the positives far outweigh that, thus the 5 star review. On Dec, 3, 2020, my wife decided to take her vehicle in to this shop for a repair because of the positive reviews. It was made ample clear to the manager on the phone and in person that the car was needed before 3pm in order to pick up our child from school.We dropped it off around 915am. He agreed it would be done well before that. I even made it ample clear with the hispanic lady at the desk. Four times, Four times, this was mentioned in total and no objection or warning that it would finished at a later time.We all know that feeling of panic if our children are not picked up on time at school. My wife called around 1:30 to get a status and they said it wasnt even being worked on yet. She told them she was stopping by to pick it up immediately. She had to pay for an Uber to get there. No offer for a shuttle was made! She arrived and wallah, they were suddenly beginning to work on it! She told them to put the tires back on and she was out of there by 2:45pm.A half day wasted on would be small repair that was never done. I dont even chalk this up to a miscommunication error because we told them a total of 4 TIMES if it could be done before 3pm. I spoke with the manager over the phone 12/4/20 and he apoligized, of course, however he made sure to jab me with a I cant completely apologize because he had a training employee excuse. Any customer service numb nuts knows that it dosnt cost anything to just give a full excuse and be done with it. The fact that this manager had to jab me with something other than a full apology is a red flag. Dont go here expecting these ppl to be honest with you.

This visit was for replacing main power harness. They did a good job but severely under estimated time it would take. Was told I would have it by lunch and when it was done it was an after hours pick up the same day. Also they forgot to reconnect my engine temp sensor plug. I will continue to use them as I have received excellent service from them in the past. They are still the best place in town.

I’m new here to Arizona and my air conditioning went out in my car, I have been looking at different auto repair shops and received many ridiculous and overcharged prices upwards to $2,200! When I called Surprise Car Care they were straight to the point and their prices were fair. I received a quote from them at first of $1,100 but once work was completed I only paid $740 due to not needed more extensive work as thought before. Surprise Car Care are fair and honest and I would highly recommend their services!

Everyone at this shop is great! I couldn’t be more thankful for all of their help. They were so kind and made the process of dropping off our family minivan easier than I could expect from the dealer! We do a lot of out of state driving and believe me when I say that my van will be back in their care whenever the next hiccup arrives (since it’s over 10 years old). For now though, I’ll enjoy the smooth ride!

I had a bad experience with my previous mechanic. A friend referred me here and I couldn’t be happier! They were thorough with everything. I love that they send you an electronic copy of the inspection with pictures of what they found. Very satisfied and I would highly recommend.

Ok. I am not quite sure that I dont dislike this place. I paid a very large amount of money for my car to be fixed. I have been waiting for about 10 years to buy a car. I recently purchased a new to me car. I quickly realized it ran hot so Surprise Car Care came to me as a referral from my daughter and I already had to bring it back to them because get this... I drove it to my house from my work place.... It was so hot... I had to add a gallon of water to the reservoir. It seems to me like the mechanic didnt let the thermostat even open and I was sure charged for 50 dollars of coolant. The only thing I saw under my radiator was water. So yeah they warranty their work but you please tell me. They only did what I told them to do but they did it at the cost of me getting stranded again. The owners are brilliant and the mechanic is not.... Thats all I can tell you but I promise to keep you posted as to how this ends.

Our experience on a complete brake job was quality work with quality parts. You can get it done for less, but do you want to? Do you want cheap parts? We dont, especially in the brake system. Mark even took me out in the shop to show me firsthand the poor condition of the existing brake components. We would rather have had a shuttle operated by the shop but they got us between shop/home/shop with ride services, which was fine. Were snowbirds who rarely get car work done while here in AZ, but we wouldnt hesitate to return to Surprise Car Care.

They sent a text the following morning with pictures and description of all the work that needed done and called me anout an hour later. They got my car done that day around lunchtime so we didn’t have to do another day with one car shuffling everyone to work. Pricing was fair in my opinion and staff was super nicely.
