Great customer service. The salesman Ray was very helpful professional and not pushy. They have some great exotic cars and trucks. Raptors rapper Bajas hellcats Shelby GT mustangs they have some great high-end cars. Also great deals on everyday cars and trucks as well.
Dave was not only knowledgeable, but down to earth in the way he dealt with me. He kept me informed every step of the way. I do and I have recommended him to friends.
Excellent service provided by Joe Hough In the Service department. Had some recall work done and he went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of.
I called ahead to make sure they had a car I was interested in. They confirmed it was in stock but told me it was in the showroom. I specifically stated that I wanted to drive it. He asked if I meant today and I confirmed that was the case. I drove 30 minutes to the dealership only to be told upon arrival that I basically had to agree to buy it before theyd pull it off the showroom floor. Wasted my time. Garret should have had to decency to tell me this before I drove out there. I would NEVER buy a car from this place. What a joke and this is why people are buying more cars online these days.

I had initially rated this review as good, but as time went on and I went to make my first payment, I noticed the payoff amount was quite a bit higher than the sticker price, and after re-looking at the paperwork, it sounds like I had the same experience as many others, with the retail price not being all in, as well as specifically asking what they were giving me for my trade in, and being lied to about that to my face. Very disappointed as the process seems to be all smoke and mirrors to confuse the customer and allow them to add in hidden fees/costs to the final price.

I had a great experience at SURPRISE FORD and would recommend them for service but I would as for DAVE GREATHOUSE as he is very knowledgeable and I believe him to be very honest. Dave communicated so always knew what was going on and what to expect. Dave is very on top of things.
Brought my car in for 50k servicing and a few recalls. All the work was fine, no complaints there. It was the human service that I dont think was tip top. When I picked up my car, as he handed me the keys, the rep said he noticed my check engine light was on when I dropped it off- said I could schedule another appointment if I wanted them to diagnose that. I was literally speachless in that moment- how on earth does that not get brought up, let alone done during 4 days of scheduled maintenance?! Sure doesnt make you feel valued as a customer...
I brought my 2018 Ford Edge into Surprise Ford for the 30,000 mile service, without an appointment. I just took a chance that they had the time to take care of me. When I pulled in at 7:00 AM they asked me if I had an appointment. I said no I didnt, my car is only available today, as I was visiting friends. They said they could take care of my service today.They serviced my car completely, and I was able to pick it up, fully service, by 5:00 PM. Evan, in customer service took care of me, explained everything they did, I paid them and left happy and with a smile on my face.Thank you, Evan and Surprise Ford.
I went to the Surprise Ford website to request a quote on a part for my 2004 F350 on Sunday, 31 Oct 21, expecting to receive a reply sometime on Monday. Shortly after submitting my request, I received a call from George, I’m assuming out of the sales department, wanting to sell me a brand new F350. I didn’t want to buy a new truck, I want a part to fix my, “running just fine”, 2004 F350. I didn’t receive the quote on my part on Monday, instead I was called by someone demonstrating, “Use Car Salesman Tactics”. Bait and Switch, seems to be Surprise Ford’s favorite tactic. I’ll never deal with them again.
Dont go there for any service or warranty work because they will turn u away do not go to Dave greathouse. He refused to do warranty work due to a bad survey and the service manager Chris lazar is no better they dont care about your car they will make u look stupid and not handle anything best bet is to call ford corporate and talk to people there

We had a number of technical questions before purchasing our new truck, and they provided the people who knew about the items and gave us the correct answers. Garrett, our salesman, although new to the dealership, made sure all of our questions and concerns regarding the new truck were addressed, and made the handling of our trade-in a piece of cake. Long time customer. Bought my car there 7 years ago. Air conditioner has gone out and the earliest they can see the car is 16 days from now? In the hottest part of the summer? And when I questioned that I was told I could take my business elsewhere! Great customer service! They can stop calling me and asking for my business!!!!!!!! I will not be going back🤬

I had to have my entire engine replaced on my Ford Edge 2018 due to coolant leaking into the engine. The process went smooth, getting a rental (Thanks Anh!) was easy. Julian did a great job helping me through that and another problem and now the car is running perfectly! Great communication, service, and workmanship.
I have been trying to get a Ford safety recall for front brake hoses done on my Ford Edge since June nothing but excuses. I talked to the service manager Anoell he said he would personally get me an appointment he called me on July 26 and said as soon as he received the hoses he would call, I have not heard back so I called a Ford dealer in Glendale on September 16 to make appointment I took my Edge in on September 17 at 7:00am and I drove out of the dealership at 9:08am with safety recall completed, now that is what I call SERVICE!!!
We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Surprise Ford. Brian and Dan worked together with us and we’re able to get us right where we need to be between our trade in and new car loan. Our new car is beautiful and the process was very efficient! They both make you feel comfortable and no stress at all! I would absolutely recommend both of them!! Scheduled service for minor electrical work. Was told when I arrived that the electrician was off. Was told my lug nuts were swollen but they didn’t have lug nuts in stock.
Service system is terrible. They hold onto your vehicle for weeks at a time... Your trucks sits on the lot except for the 2 days days it takes to repair it. Why not just call me when they are ready to fix it so I dont have to rent a car for weeks at a time. It literally took 6 months to diagnose and fix my truck! So I could not use my truck for literally weeks upon weeks so couldnt tow my RV trailer or my boat because it was always sitting on a lot at dealership doing nothing. They could have just given me the truck back and said the parts are in Ill bring it back in but they held on to it for weeks. I barely driven my car this past year and now my warranty is up starting this week. Now what am I going to do because they want to take my car for another several weeks before they could even look at it. They get two stars, not one, because at least the service representative is nice. However, as I said before, their system really is terrible, inefficient and moronic.

Very low pressure. The GM personally checked on us and made sure we were being well taken care of. Ben was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. Nick took good care of us and we’re very satisfied with what was negotiated.We even got to meet George Lopez (their finance specialist)!!!

Went in to take my 04 mustang gt (supercharged) to get the door panel popped off so i could take it home and replace the window motor, they were able to get the stuck door panel off safely since it was already starting to crack the plastic for me (despite trying very gently myself). then when i got home i figured out that changing the motor was going to be a lot more difficult than previously thought and they allowed me to bring my car back and they replaced it for me and pretty quickly too! even though they were super busy, they made time for my car and they got it done and called me before i had expected it to be done. not only that, they were all very nice and helpful. i will continue to take my car there especially since the people at the peoria ford dealership were 100% AGAINST helping me with my car since i didn’t get the part from them BUT AT SURPRISE FORD, they were 100% WILLING and WANTED to help in any way they could :) they were careful with my car and it was still clean when i got it back. thank you to all the people who helped with my car, you’re great and the window works perfectly which only makes driving it, better.
I called and left messages for the Service Manager and did not receive a return call - Just another example of poor service provided.The Service Department should be an opportunity to drive future sales. Our recent visits with the vehicle we purchased here have us shopping for other dealers. With the service issues experienced, I would not return to purchase another vehicle.
I contacted them about a mini van they had instock. Nick sent me a meeting invite to go see it, so I dropped what I was doing to go down there. Once I got there I was handed off to several different people, walked a long lap around the dealership looking for it, just to find it was in their shop doing a safety inspection and I couldnt even see it. Nice enough people and all, but they obviously have some serious organizational issues if they are inviting people to come look at cars they cant even see.
This location deserves zero or even negative stars for what they did to my best friend. Dan Doncea straight up told my best friend, who put a deposit down on a truck and LITERALLY could not complete the sale right away until the house he’s buying closes (if you’ve ever bought a house, you know you can’t open any new accounts until it closes or you can lose the mortgage), that he “doesn’t care about [my friend], only cares about numbers.” Did Dan forget where the numbers come from?? Customers! And he lost one and I also will NEVER do business with Surprise Ford and I will ensure none of my other friends or family uses them for anything either! Get your act straight Surprise Ford! And someone needs to have a serious heart to heart with Dan Doncea because he will continue to drive business so far away from here.
Joe in service is amazing. Treat people right that are trying to help ya, and you get back as much if not more than you expected. Covid has made parts a nationwide issue in regards to getting them for your vehicle. My Explore sat for almost 4 weeks waiting for parts and getting the job done correctly was all Joe in service and Steve the Technician wanted to do. We had some issues pop here and there but they were addressed ASAP. If its a repair I can do I do it. But these guys at the Surprise Ford helped me out and I got what was needed plus meeting new and pleasant individuals along the way. THANKS JOE! THANKS STEVE!!!!-AL
I had to have my 2019 F250 diesel jump started to get it in for service and lost a days work. The staff was great and got me back on the road with 2 new batteries, covered under warranty, in just a few hours.
Watch out for all the non sense doc fees / dealers fees, ridiculous amounts. Legally you dont have to pay those fees. Expect to see a much higher price on paper than whats advertised.
We took my Ford Edge to this dealership for a recall repair. We scheduled the appointment to bring it in on a Friday and to be done on Saturday. When we arrived they told us they would have to keep it until Monday. Ended up not being done until Tuesday. I understand delays but it was inconvenient to be limited to one car with me and my husband. However, the real reason my review is one star is due to damage to my vehicle. The day after I picked up my care when backing out of my driveway I realized my rear windshield wiper was damaged, literally broken off. My husband has called and we were told sometimes their car wash Does that where it breaks off windshields of cars. My husband had to push for them to replace it. They said they would order a new one. Now weeks have gone by, my husband has called multiple times and left voicemails without anyone calling us back. Now we have to pay to replace a windshield wiper that was broken off by a bad carwash. Not coming here again.

Excellent experience throughout the buying process. I showed up looking for a new truck with an exact list of features and equipment I needed from my 2018 truck. The two ladies Marissa and Lauren gave me the option of walking around by myself or they could show me what trucks were on the lot, I opted for their assistance. We went through inventory on the lot and found one close minus the color. I took them up on their offer of trying to find one for me instead of me driving around the valley. The next day I received a call letting me know they located one and I could come look at it that afternoon. The Truck was perfect and everything else went smooth. Nick the sales Manager also deserves a mention for his great customer service. We knew each other from one of my previous Ford purchases and it was good to see him, made me feel like a part of the Ford family. Oh, and my 2021 F-150 is awesome, looking forward to my next visit in three years for an upgrade.
My vehicle had a couple error codes come up on the dash. Just moved into the area and brought it to Surprise Ford for repair. I contacted my service advisor (Dave Greathouse) who scheduled me for an appointment two days out to bring my vehicle in. On the day of the appointment, he checked me in and was able to get my vehicle looked at the following day. After a quick software update, I was able to pick my vehicle up. Pleased with the service and quick turnaround.
Im not a dealer guy, but we needed a battery installed and the schedule was booked. Evan went out of his way to squeeze us in and get us out in a reasonable amount of time. Wont hesitate to go to this dealer. Thank you.

We had an electrical issue and it has to do with towing our RV,my husband called and Dave and told him we were planning a trip to go camping and didnt realize this part wasnt working,so Dave said bring it in and well see what we can do.In two days it was finished and didnt cost an arm and a leg.Dave call and kept my husband up to date with the progress and was very informative and helpful.All in all very helpful and great service.

We purchased our last vehicle with Surprise Ford and have had our service done there for the past three years with excellent service, professionalism and have recommended them several times to friends and family. We are having some issues with the screen/front camera and made an appointment on Tuesday to bring it in on Friday, like we normally would and expecting it to be seen within a timely manner. We went to drop it off and they told us it will take at least 3 to 4 days to even look at the truck - without any notification, heads-up or call beforehand - absolutely nothing. Very unprofessional in the entire process this time around.
I brought my car in on Tuesday for a service and while I was waiting, I had the opportunity to look at the explorer since I have the edge right now. Dillon took the time to give me a tour of the car and see what I would get out of my recent car. Unfortunately I couldn’t trade my car due to bad credit at the moment and wouldn’t have much for a down payment since I would be using my old car as the down payment. Dillon was very kind and understanding my situation.
Communication was good, repairs were done in a timely manner, pickup was simple.

We are out of state looking at truck to buy we were pre-approved for a loan for the full amount, offered to put money down and was told by Dan Hogan they dont do that to hold the truck to finish paper work. The communication is HORRIBLE, and the truck ended up getting sold from under us. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Well technically I was there for a Enterprise car rental. But all the people there were very helpful and they have a really awesome black 4 x 4 truck, 2021, its pretty bitchen!
We have bought 2 vehicles from them and both times they have been excellent. Friendly, understanding and genuinely seem to want to work with you. No pressure no hassling. Would recommend Dan and Nick.

Very long story short; my wife brought our vehicle in for service. I was charged for a service that was not performed on my vehicle. I sent Dave several photographs of my vehicle after we picked it up, showing where it was not touched by a technicians hand or tools, where it clearly should have been for a transmission flush. By the way, my wife requested a transmission service (drain and fill) and we were charged for the full flush. Again, no evidence of my vehicle being touched anywhere under the hood, drain plug, trans cooler lines, transmission filler, none of the plastic covers or tubing were disturbed- no hose clamps touched, etc., etc. I brought my vehicle to 3 independent shops after the fact and all 3 verified my concern without me prompting or soliciting them for any information regarding this bogus service and charge.Dave is a nice guy, I just wish he was a better advocate for his clients. Beware.

Out experience with Surprise Ford was excellent. The sales person was helpful and not pushy. The finance person was the same. We drove it back to St. George Utah and it is a beast but incredible. Just what I wanted. It reminds me of my 67 fastback that had a beefed up 390. I didnt think F;ord made this kind of car any more. Brings back lots of memories.The only issue I have is that they did not dry off under the hood after they washed prior to delivery. It has lots of hard to get off spots in the engine bay.Thanks again for finding this car that I did not think existed.

I want to return or sell my new Ford Transit Cargo 250 Van medium Roof. I was sold an extended warranty illegally. it is null and void and wasted $3800.00. i want to modify the van into a campervan. I called to complain and have not received a call back to fix my problem... i think they stated to just call the ford bank and they can fix it.. well not to my satisfaction. I hate this place now. This review is focused on the service department. I had no interaction with the sales department. I scheduled an appointment for a simple oil change at 1030 in the morning. When I arrived 10 minutes early, I was told that they were backed up but they would get to me right after they “dealt with this other guy”. The service writer handling my truck wasn’t in and so my oil change was given to another person to do. I explained it was no problem and turned over my keys and walked inside to the waiting area. Shortly after, the young man who was responsible for checking in vehicles asked me if I was planning to wait for the truck. I answered yes and he explained to me that the wait was going to be 3-4 hrs. I asked why I had an appointment then if it was going to take 4 hrs. He repeated that they were backed up. I asked if I could have a service loaner since I couldn’t wait at the dealership for 4 hrs and he explained that they don’t give those out for oil changes. I understood, thanked him, took my keys back and asked him to cancel my “appointment”. I have two questions for the dealership. 1) why would you continue to schedule appointments to the extent that an oil change takes 3-4 hrs? 2) why wouldn’t you explain the wait to someone when the appointment was made and offer them a courtesy ride somewhere.I typically take my trucks to the dealership for the extra care and attention given to a vehicle still under warranty. I don’t expect a 10 minute oil change, but 3-4 hrs for an oil change appointment? That’s unsatisfactory. I will not be back to Surprise Ford.
Bought a 2018 Dodge Journey from them. It is having transmission issues since the minute we took it off the lot. The sales rep told us we had 15 days to return it if we weren’t satisfied which is a lie and not a thing in Arizona. The finance manager told my wife to lie to the finance company and say the vehicle was okay while they addressed the issue. According to their service department, there is nothing wrong with it. I had a mechanic look at it and said that the 3rd gear clutch is failing. Sales rep refuses to return our calls after saying he would do what he could to get us into another vehicle. Buyer beware. I’ll be involving the news next
I have a 2008 Ford Fusion with a recall from Ford which I took in for repairs the service was done very timely. I received a courtesy call when it was finished and they even washed the vehicle. We are new to Arizona from Wisconsin with a vehicle as old as it is the lower frame is very corroded from Wisconsin salt. They were persistent at working freeing the rusted parts to do the repairs. All covered by Ford. Thank You! My only concern is when I dropped off the vehicle my Wife had a very hard time finding a place to temporally park all the spaces are disabled parking. I think you should have courtesy parking.

I only gave them four stars because after they completed the oil change, the Service Tech said, oh I just thought your car was dusty!!! Come on, you could tell it was dirty. I feel like he didn’t have it done because I didn’t buy the vehicle from there. He offered to run it through the car wash when I got to my car but it was after 5:00 and I had been there almost two hours and that was with an appointment.
Very unscrupulous behavior. went to look at a car for my niece that Eddie Nelson who is one of the finance managers that sits the office and approves or disapproves the deals, told me was available. I got there looked at the car..liked it and sent pictures.to my niece..she loved it. Nelson assured me that he could work the deal..I told my niece to come to the dealership..it took her about a half hour to get there. once she arrived she began filling out the paperwork and while doing so Eddie Nelson approved a deal and sold the car to someone else knowing that we were there filling out the application. Needless to say my niece was truly disappointed and I was furious. So if you decide to do business with this dealership or this Eddie Nelson who kept saying how great of an experience I would have ...BEWARE..they are the cliché of what we all think of car dealerships ...and not all dealerships are bad but there are a few like this one that keeps the cliché going
