The pharmacy they don’t even pick up the phone and they keep you on hold and they never answer the phone
I use to use the Puyallup Rite Aid Pharmacy on East Main and always had a great experience. I moved to Tacoma and thought every Rite Aid Pharmacy was similar. I was completely wrong. Both times I have been to the North Pearl location it has been a disaster. I submitted a refill electronically and when I went to pick it up 24 hours later (well after the pick-up time) it was in their system but not filled. I was told they are really busy and it might be ready in two hours. There appears to be a lack of organization and the only way they pay attention is when you’re standing in front of them.
Got my covid vaccine here and it was a very organized and smooth process. James was administering the vaccine the day that I went in and he was very gentle and understanding of my needle fears and anxiety in general . He made it quick and easy and was very calming, which I think is very important in such a fearful time as this!
Unfortunately this pharmacy is a pain! They’re constantly are out of stock of prescriptions with the auto fill and no notification. Once they receive a prescription from a doctors office, you have to call and remind them to fill it. Staff doesn’t seem to be very friendly. Not my favorite pharmacy.
One of the cleanest, most friendly and professional rite aids/pharmacies I have ever been to. Respectful, courteous and helpful. Overall store is well run and managed, clean, and staff with positive helpful attitudes.
For all of you out there that rated 1 star, go check out a truly sh*#ty pharmacies, Proctor street Safeway for example. James, Jill....the whole staff have always treated me well. I look at reviews sometimes and really question as to whether its the establishment or the customer that really needs the attitude check!
Cheryl is awesome! Everytime I go here she is at the front desk and is so nice and informative of the deals going on in the store. She makes my visit everytime I go here. :)
I just sat in the pharmacy drive thru for 23 minutes, with only one car ahead of me. Several people completely left instead of waiting any longer. This is awful.
Their pharmacy was horrible. My friend had surgery this morning and they told us her prescriptions from the hospital would be ready in an hour.I called to ask if they could be ready any sooner because she was feeling really nauseated from anesthesia and I’m a lot of pain. The lady on the phone was really rude and said it would be an hour and be ready no later than 11:30 .My friend got a text at 11:31 saying prescription was ready m, we went and sat in their long drive through line which took forever, when we got to the window the woman told us she did not have anything under my friends name and argued when we told her we had already spoken to someone on phone AND AHAD EMAIL confirmation plus text saying it was ready. She then shut the window and walked away, came back and said she found it and it would be 30 more minutes. I told her I wanted to talk to pharmacist, she told me the pharmacist would just tell me the same thing and asked if I still wanted to talk to him and I said yes. When she walked over to him my friends prescription was sitting right there and ready. She brought it to us and shut the window, never apologizing or sending the pharmacist over, so my friend then had to call and ask questions about her prescription. Horrible customer service and horrible lack of care or empathyWe will both be switching pharmacies and do t suggest them to anyone
I’ve used The Rite Aid pharmacy for over 20 years. They may be part of a huge corporate chain, but they’ve always given me and my family top notch customer service. Joel and Jamie are assets, as well as the others behind the counter. They know my name and pull me up in their system as I approach.Case in point. My insurance switched a medicine. The switch wasn’t working. I called and talked to the pharmacist. They were able to move me back to my original medicine, and it was ready in less than 5 minutes!
Very friendly employees. I came here for a COVID-19 vaccination and also bought a few items. The store is clean and stocked with a variety of food, drink, and office supply items. Coffee lovers, they have the La Colombe iced drinks here.
Everyone here is great. At least to me. From the small Spanish or Indian pharmacist to the nice older lady or. Young Ukrainian girl up front. They are the best. Sorry for the non pc descriptions.
They have what Im looking for. Use their Pharmacy Safeway sucks. Very friendly knowledgeable and you can always help mine problems with my body or otherwise. Love you store have a great day
I started going to this pharmacy location in 2010,my grandmother moved to Washington to live with us and she had numerous prescriptions as do I, at that time I was on 7 different meds a day and she was on about 4. We never had one single issue, even when I lost my insurance coverage they handle the change seamlessly, when my grandmothers Medicare changed they handled that as well. Joel the main pharmacist has been there from the beginning and was always always patient with questions my 93 yr old grandmother had,and she had alot !! We had to move to Puyallup for 6 months when we moved back it wasnt close anymore but I drive the extra distance because they are family. They have taken care of my grandmothers needs until she passed and mine through 6 surgeries and all the medication involved I wouldnt go ANYWHERE else.
I am Frequent Customer who wishes I could give you zero stars. The Past few visits I have been treated with very little respect. The weird tall white guy with the strange braid on his head, never greats me when I enter the store but he greats the customer after me. The small older sassy lady always has something to rude to say she also never greats me when I walk in. Needless to say I’d rather spend my money somewhere else.
I do the drive through to get prescriptions and there is usually always other cars.. but nice people working the window.. thank you
WORST RITE AID EVER!!!!!! They NEVER have our prescriptions ready and when they tell us to come back later we do, THEN they tell us they are not contracted with our insurance. This happened with my prescriptions twice and twice for my son. So they sent me to Safeway.. Safeway called to have them send over our prescription well an hour later rite aid NEVER sent it over!!! My one year old burnt his face and needed his cream!! THEY ARE AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!!
I don’t understand how one pharmacy can have so many issues and make so many mistakes. Time after time after time after time, it’s a constant sh*# show.
$81 for a $54 box of Nicorette. Ill not go back.
Fill prescriptions for our family of five frequently. Never had one problem. Staff super friendly and helpful.
I have an almost personal friendship with the staff. I love these guys. Theyre always super helpful.
I went in to drop a prescription off and decided to wait for it. As I was shopping around, near the pharmacy i overhear a few loud groans, and walk towards the pharmacy to see whats up. I watched the little pharmacist and notice he is slamming blue baskets and bottles down. I am a bit concerned. The phone rings. I go to sit down in the waiting area. About, 10 minutes later, I notice the little pharmacist slamming the phone down. Then the pharmacist walks out of the pharmacy slamming the door. I worry somethings wrong with my prescription. I get up to check on my prescription, and the young lady says that its ready. As i am checking out, I ask the cashier if there were any problems when filling my prescription. She said no. Then i asked the pharmacist name. I thanked her. I would like to say that the pharmacy seemed decent, but the pharmacist behavior was very unprofessional, and alarming making it a very hostile environment and workplace.
Staff is friendly and helpful! I highly recommended.
Always friendly & helpful.
Ive never had a bad experience at this store, and the pharmacists are top notch.
I tried out this pharmacy for the first time. They were supposed to call Walgreens to transfer my prescriptions here because my insurance didnt accept Walgreens. I was the only customer. I waited an hour and twenty min. When I came back to the counter to see if it was done they couldnt find me in the computer. Then the gal I checked in with saw me and said to the pharmacist, you were supposed to call Walgreens. They hadnt entered me in the computer, hasnt called for my transfer, and hadnt started filling my script. No apology, the girl at the desk turns back to me and says they are still working on it. So here I sit. Not thrilled.
Great customer service and one place stop and shop.
Very poor customer service, its always the Doctor or Insurance that dud the mistake, they claim.Never them!! Courtney the pharmacist is rude. Shes probably doesnt deserve her job.But then when your working with people that blame everyone but themselves for failing to do there job. This is what you get..Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere...They dont deserve the 1 star...
Clean well organized helpful and friendly staff.
I have had the worst experience at this pharmacy than ever before. I was seen at the ER on a Saturday and got out after hours when most pharmacies were closed. I had my husband drop off my prescriptions the next day at 1030am and he picked them up at 330pm the same day. When he got home with my medication, several pills were missing from the bottle. It was a controlled substance for pain. I immediately called the pharmacy and the pharmacist kept telling me there was nothing he could do and that he didnt make a mistake, so I went down to the location in person and showed him the prescription that was missing a full days worth of medication. He again said i would have to come back and talk to the manager and that they did nothing wrong. I was so upset. I didnt even want the rest of my medication at that point. I dont take pain medication often, so it was not a big deal, but the fact that they treated me like I was lying really upset me. I work in the healthcare field and know how this stuff works. He basically said that since my husband picked up the RX, and also with out them even verifying ID for myself or him and he signed for it and left the store that they couldnt tell me what happened. I am absoulutely certain that someone working in this pharmacy is taking prescription medications and is getting away with it!!! I never went back, I will never go back!!! I dont feel that it would be mine (or my husbands in this case) responsibility to have to count the medication at time of pick up to ensure that it is all there. I was in extreme pain, and was given that RX for a REASON! Do not go to this pharmacy to fill any narcotic medication. or any prescription for that matter. I do not trust them and am disappointed in how i was treated and how the situation was handled because I wanted them to look over the cameras that day to see if anything had gone on, and they seem like that would be a waste of time because it wasnt their fault. If it was my own personal fault and knew it, i wouldnt be writing this review.
Love rite aid
Dont go here if you expect good customer service and prescriptions to be ready on time.
Too long of a wait time & too many rude employees.
Good place
Waited 40 minutes for a pick up..
Great place
