If there was a 3.5 star option, I would have chosen it.This shop is like a hidden gem. Selling a whole bunch of things (view my pictures). From ice cream to Mexican hot chocolate to smoothies, Mexican candy, ice cream on a cantaloupe, fruit salad, hot dogs, the list goes on and on. Its like a gas station store but way more snacks and treats!I ordered the Melon Loko Ice Cream $11.99. First time having such treat and it was yummy! I would definitely order something similar if I see other places selling it. One big negative about the Melon Loko Ice Cream I had was the cantaloupe was not ripened. The inside of the fruit was hard, plastic spoons didnt do any justice. Barely ate the cantaloupe because it was really that solid, which was unfortunate. The store itself, sells plentiful of things as I mentioned earlier, just seems too cluttered. Pricing on the snacks, Id say is reasonable. Parking is rough, not many spots. I would come back here to try other things on their ice cream menu, overall not bad spot.

Absolutely love this place! They have a huge selection of sweets and snacks. I love the avocado smoothie and mangonada, the mango is always fresh and super sweet💛 highly recommend this spot!

Visited the shop based on a recommendation, but didn’t find anything special.People have different taste and I’m not used to eat my ice Cream with chilies and hot souses.The shop has an extensive menus to offer and so many options if drinks, ice creams, and smoothies.I took few pictures of the shop and menus.

Beats DQ and Baskin Robbins by a mile. Very pleasantly surprised. Looks like a bit of a hole in the wall, but everything we ordered was excellent, prepared swiftly and well priced. I “invented” a tropical banana split with mango and coconut pineapple ice creams, fresh strawberries, white chocolate sauce, whip cream and peanuts. We also ordered a scoop of wild huckleberry in a waffle cone and a mango smoothie - all for about $16 and incredibly fresh and flavorful. The menus can be a bit overwhelming, but dont be timid they can make just about anything you would like and chilis are optional. 😁 Be brave and be surprised by the friendly and accommodating service. Parking is a street-side pullout on a busy street with fast traffic-probably will drive past and park around the corner next time. Will definitely visit again.

I absolutely ❤ this place. I am born in Mexico. Had my third birthday here. And this place just brings it home for me. Ive had all the things on their menu from their crazy pineapples. ( I speak fluent Spanish) to the baby shower fruit baskets. Im saying from their small items which might be of scoop of ice cream to their extravagant items. ( Im amazed every time). To the point where I was looking forward to being invited to a baby shower just to give their gift. And when I did I got the ultimate praise. Muchisísimas gracias

I had some elotes and they were so good. I finished them immediately, and they were still warm after 20 minutes. You can choose which toppings you want on them as well.

This is one of my favorite go to snack spots in all of Tacoma! You want sweet? They got it! You want cold? they got it! Spicy? Got it! Crunchy? Got it! And it’s always made with love! Great ice cream for an unbeatable price. Under $5, for 2 HUGE scoops in a waffle cone. Scoops were larger than a girls softball. 100% would go back and recommend for others.

I got my favorite dessert here every single time I am in Tacoma.

Very nice organized looking store but when we mentioned it was our first time in the younger man became rude. We asked him what was a good prepared food and he offered the corn with mayonnaise and cheese and takis. When we ordered them we also bought a bag of talkies and he said the total was $10.50. I gave them a $10 bill and a five dollar bill and he gave me a $.50 changed and closed his register real quick. I planned on leaving the full amount of change as a tip anyways but I just put the change in the tip jar and walked away. It was not a friendly way to experience the first time at a store that you have not been to.

The only place where there is truly a massive menu. What ever botana fruit cups, fruit cocktails..ELOTE .corn dipedslaped with Mayo chili powder lime juice ..................................................yumm

They take awhile to make whatever you order.. so I reccomend calling before to pre-order... HOWEVER...they make the BEST of anything on their menu.

Looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, but theres a ton of tasty foods inside. Got a mangonada that was delicious! The menu is packed with interesting sweets that Id like to go back and try.

Delicious Ice Cream from a local maker! From someone who has lived here all her life, the last time we had a fresh ice cream shop was abiut ten years ago. Im so glad that these owners brought it back. My SoCal friends love this place for the nostalgic assortment of tamarind and chili sprinkled desserts. I learned that Im not a fan of those flavors, but the place has good vibes and LOTS of options. The servers are very patient and kind. Theyll help you find something youll like if you ask. Parking is a bit precarious, but almost always available.

I got brought here by someone I know. Went with ice cream, figured it was a safe bet. Ice cream has a different type flavor and texture, couldnt place it. Parking is risky. The guy waiting on us was really nice.

I love going to Ericas for many reason. First of, every time I go the family is very polite and outgoing. They do a great job! Secondly, there are so many things that they offer. And lastly because its nice to have a store where the Latino culture is very alive.

Love the Hispanic food and desserts they serve and omg the chocolate covered strawberries is to die for lol.. they have all natural smoothies made from real fruit thats delicious and they stay open late .

My favorite little eatery in tacoma!!! This little nook has an incredible wide menu from nachos, elotes, ice cream and many delicious Mexican treats and even P.O boxes!. Its so affordable, I regularly come here once or twice a week even though I moved across town. We love Ericas and I absolutely recommend stopping by. Everyone is so kind and sweet, such a lovely small business to support.

First time trying this place out. Raspado de tamarindo was really good as well as the Tornado and Tosti Nachos Corn. Recommend this place out for antojitos

This place is wonderful! The young man at the counter was super friendly, and the staff were all smiles. We just discovered this place and will be coming here frequently. If we were on vacation we would say that this was the highlight of our vacation :)

Friendly, efficient and fast service. My son loved the double scoop of ice cream and my strawberry cheesecake milkshake was delicious. Tho tight, the store was easy to navigate with a stroller. Customers were patient and eager to share seating and info on unique menu items.

This banana split was awesome!!!...Ta die for....However upon arrival & walking into the establishment...the crowd just didnt feel very welcoming ta say the least, excluding the cashier & other members that were making orders behind the counter (Cooks, Cheifs, etc..) They were kind & seemed pretty welcoming & open ta new customers....It was clean & neat...& their menu had such variety of food items as well as ice cream, smoothies, milkshakes...

There are sooo many snacks to choose from! They have quite a large menu of drinks, smoothies, ice creams, etc. I personally had an elote, and a juiced beet and mango smoothie. They were both absolutely perfect! I definitely would recommend stopping by this place if youre ever in the area!

Biggest disappointment of my vacation, was excpecting a cute little ice cream shop with good ice cream. I would like to say that ice cream was hardly being sold here. It was a lot of other random items and a ton of Mexican candy. I walked in, saw the ice cream, and walked straight out. Horrible flavors, half of them were not flavor labeled and it looked like they had been sitting out for god knows how long. Insane prices also, $6 for the SMALLEST size. It was absolutely filthy and smelled nasty in the place. Very bad area, how could families with small children possibly go here? Surrounded by smoke shops and tattoo parlors. Bongs and various other smoking and drug paraphernalia in the store next door were visible from the front of this place. Shady people walking around and people outside smoking.

Some of the best ice cream that Ive had recently, they have a lot of flavors and the prices are fair.

A small, dingy, dirty looking place that has the feel of being in a 3rd world country.I went looking for good ice cream and I saw a bunch of ice cream tubs that were half melted or melted and then refrozen. I walked out without buying anything and I would recommend you do the same.

WHOA! So unexpected if you don’t have the knowledge that places like these, small-humble-slightly disorganized-family run establishments, often have the best food! I had the esquittes and the Chile Mangonada! My day was made! Both items tasted like they were made with love and reminded me of my hometown in Texas. If you can suspend your first-world prejudices and expectations for a while to try these delicious treats, then I think you’ll find yourself coming back to this place like I am today!

This store serves great mexican snacks and drinks. Every time I come here I am greeted and served with a genuine smile. I can tell the workers really care about the service they provide to the community. The reason I did not give the store five stars was because of their location. There is extremely limited parking. If you are craving some mexican chips, snack, or drinks you should head over to this place. You will be served with great customer service!

Yall gotta try the fresnas con crema.... OMG, delicious! A good place for some dessert, milkshake, smoothie, we also had this Mango chili powder mixed smoothie, a little sweet, a little spicy but very tasty. Also they were open until 10 which was great since we were looking for dessert late night. They had Mexican candy and some other snacks and treats too!

Its a very small hole In the wall mexican ice cream parlor and Mexican stote. I say that to emphasize that it is run by this cute little hipanic woman (who doesnt speak very good English). The ice cream is homemade, and if you dont mind the taste of Mexican sweets (they have a very distinct sweet) its a good cheap Ice cream!

I love their mangonadas!! The signs can be a bit confusing. Not because i dont understand the spanish but theyre a bit unorganized and random that it takes a bit to focus on the items. But really good stuff!!
