Well I’ve had a storage unit here I’ve paid for the last three years and haven’t even touched it I think it’s started off at like 120 a month and it’s gone up to 165 the price is not even comparable to what else is out there way better options same price three times larger plus there’s no lighting in my unit and it’s not air-conditioned or have any heating system they have done remodels the last three years and when I went inside everything was covered with their dust and mess. No that’s for management haven’t had the best experience with him I don’t even think he’s ever returned my calls when I had a problem I had to go straight to corporate as for the regular employees that work here great people super friendly very kind hearted as far as management not the general manager but the manager Amanda. She is awesome ! Personable and helpful. She employees great staff. Lots of parking easily located and very clean facilities and restroom. Thank you Amanda & staff
If you really are into bad service, rudeness over the phone and lack respect then this is the place for you! First they couldnt find my wifes account to go over the charges. Second was rude when they did find it. We do agree with some charges, But a convenience fee for dropping the truck off a day early and putting the keys in the drop box. BS! I am pretty sure they even rented the truck out early. If I was to talk to a woman they way they did I would be fired or sued. So take a chance. Go for the customer service.
Went there and the propane was flowing/filling super slow. I needed 30 gallons for my vehicle. The assistant manager was So Kind to deal with the mechanical issues. She at least pumped 20 gallons. I go there before all other locations. These employees here are great. Thanks so much. Especially since i get 8 mpg. And only had 60 miles left in my tank.
UHaul in Parkland are the rudest people ever! Manager Larry, Is the least helpful person. I wanted to pick up the truck in Lakewood which would make it less mileage for me. I was told by them to go to parkland store but could still return it to the Lakewood store with no penalty. Ha ha ha. Fat chance. After I returned the truck a day early I not only got charged for the extra mileage driving it from parkland but I did not get my 30 mile credit because they said it was all explained in the contract!!! Now if anyone can actually read this contract please let me know. Maybe you have “spidie eyes”. Oh and I got the joy of being told by Larry that he did not have to listen to me being rude (note: I never used foul or abusive language) and Larry promptly hung up on me. I called him back and I asked for his name. And yes I did question the validity of his answer when he claimed his name was Brown, Larry Brown. Seemed too generic to me. He then proceeded to hang up on me again.Yes I called the corporate office…….after I calmed down. She said there was a note on my account that I would be calling fo a discount. After explaining my experience I told her I did not want a discount. That it was no longer about the money but about customer service. Reservations were completed online. There was zero wait we were assisted right away. There were no additional fees. Equipment was very clean and the store was pretty organized despite the remodeling. I’ve been to this location a few times to rent and it has always worked out perfectly. Customer service sometimes is a hit and miss but overall I’ve enjoyed my experience as it’s been seamless. Prices on packing tape pretty good, posted picture for quick viewing.
Didn’t have my rental. It happens. I understand these things happen. Not upset about that.But, when I brought up the $50 guarantee, I was told they will not honor it unless I book another rental. That is NOT what the website says.“Should U-Haul, through its own fault fail to meet time, place and equipment size, a $50 Reservation Guarantee will be paid and U-Haul will still attempt to fill the reservation.”I wasted money to pay for an Uber to get to U-Haul. So, this adventure cost me $20 and I have nothing to show for it.I know U-Haul is about the only game in town. But, if you have to go to U-Haul, I would avoid this location. They won’t even fulfill their guarantees.

A little over priced. I got the small 15 just to move 4 couches. I only drove 13 miles and brought it back in 3 hours however I was charged $69. I shouldve rented a pickup instead. The truck was clean but i was expecting to pay around $40.
I am so pleased with the service i received at this location. Jennifer was great, very helpful and i will be back if i need uhaul services again.
NEEDS 0 STARS. Absolutley the worst storage unit i have ever dealt with. Horrible customer service and they have a problem with a suspicious crowd loitering outside there front doors. As a customer you cant even put your code in and walk in without people rushing to the door to sneak in. In fact i was evicted because i refused to play security gaurd for them and when someone snuck in behind me it was my fault. I was a customer not an employee.This is on top of them constantly changing there rules and regulations because they have no clue how to solve the loitering problem. Peoples things are constantly being stolen from this storage unit because of that problem.If you read reviews please stay away from here. Its not worth the problems

I went today to make sure my reservation for my storage unit was available and when I got to the U-Haul storage facility, the guy I spoke to at the call center didnt give bundle my one way U-Haul Truck with my storage like he stated =( It was frustrating and confusing because I was under the impression that the fees I paid for the U-Truck also covered my storage for the month. Apparently that call center guy was giving out the wrong information and the sweet receptionist/customer service representative JENNIFER was very helpful. I explained the situation to her and she helped me get a storage which helped uplift the burden of stress I was already feeling from having to dish out more money for a storage unit =/ but she helped me get exactly what I needed even though they were limited with available storage spaces. Thank you Jennifer, you have no idea how calm and refreshed I felt leaving your guys facility with a storage unit and knowing that all I had to do was just pay for my insurance and lock fees. I spent all day yesterday looking for a storage and just imagine the disappointment I felt when I got there and you told me it wasnt reserved. You truly made my day today and I am definitely a happy customer!! =) Thank you and god bless
You’d think with an indoor storage unit it would be semi safe but clearly not when our storage unit got broken into.
Stopped in today at 6:30 to fill 3 propane tanks and they never came out after ringing there bell 2 time I went in just for them to lie to me and say they already closed down the situation witch was a lie they didnt want to do their job the 2 people on staff were just sitting there and could have taken the five mins to fill my 3 tanks the machine was completely unlocked very disappointing
I used the phone process for the first time to drop off the U-Haul truck I rented. Followed the instructions, answered questions, took pictures and put keys in box. 2 days later I get a voicemail from the U-Haul place saying to return the truck and I am being charged! I called the U-Haul place and the Manager said that another U-Haul place saw ME sleeping in the back of truck and when approached I jump in the front and drove off. This person matched my drivers license. I told them that it wasnt me and I have been home. I told him to watch the cameras I dropped it off, took the pictures and put keys in box. He said he did and saw that I did but someone saw ME with the truck. Something that cost around $42 now I am being charged $440!! I told him he needs to look at the camera again I dont have their truck and that they need to figure it out. Instead of calling me right away, they charged my card and then accused me of theft! I called customer service and it was fixed in 5 minutes. Apparently the Manager did go back to the cameras and after I dropped off the keys, someone came and stole the keys out of the box. Why didnt the Manager do a complete investigation before he took money and accused a customer for theft that has rented with U-Haul for over 8 years? He was disrespectful and unprofessional. He said this isnt the first time this has happened, when I said I dropped the keys in box how can I get them out? This U-Haul is on 96th and Pacific in Tacoma, Wa.
This is the best U-Haul experience I have had anywhere. David and Raquel were so amazing and accommodating. Unfortunately, I was only able to get to their location 15 min before they closed because of work. When I arrived they had the most amazing personality and they were so helpful regardless of the time. Because of David and Raquel I will be back to this location because of the service!
Hey I rented a truck on Sunday and it was for 9am -9pm but I ended bringing it back around 4-5 because I finished earlier than expected I keep and lady behind counter said she’ll check it out for me but I’m getting messages about “extending my order” so I called uhual and it says I never returned the truck and that I still have it, getting the truck was fine but getting my hold back was the bad part

Mike the manager is a straight jerk. First off, we reserved a truck of 26 feet. They call us the day before and only have a 20 truck, that they overbooked. Then afterwords, my husband gets the truck and the back is broken. He has to help two employees try to fix the back door because they have no other large truck.We come in and Mike was rude. He says we got the truck insinuating we are late. Nope, we came for a 2pm reservation and it was digitally checked out but not driven off until about 3. Then instead of him helping me, he tells the next person he doesnt deal with rude people. I wasnt rude, not yelling, nothing. But after that, I was.It is too hot outside for horrible customer service.Do not go to this UHAUL
About as bad as it possibly gets. Paid over $1g to send my ubox from NY to Tacoma. Promised 3 times it would be delivered by noon on 6/10. Charged my credit card on 6/5. 6/10 came and went. No text, call or email. Was put on hold for 20 minutes before finally hanging up. Tried to call back, nothing. Sure wish I knew where my stuff was. Still waiting......
While their customer service is nice and professional, the COMPANYS policy sucks. Their intro to your phone call is to keep our promises with you and yet my truck is not at the location I reserved it. They conveniently say schedule you at the most convenient agreed upon location with available equipment. So now I have to drive 20 minutes to that location instead of 5 minutes from the one I made a reservation at!!! Not like moving isnt already stressful! I wont rent from Uhaul again.
My husband reserved a pick up truck for us to use for 24 hours, he had a confirmation. We had plans to use it tomorrow. He was dropped off to pick it up at 6 pm. When he went inside he was told that they didnt have a truck for him unless he wanted to bring it back by 10 PM. They had changed it to a 4 hour rental without his approval. That wouldnt work for our, once a year, event tomorrow.He was left to walk several miles home and our plans were ruined.This is not the first time they have failed us. On our previous rental, a pick up truck was reserved and confirmed but when we got there there was no pick up truck, we had to use a van which was less than ideal for our needs.Save yourself some trouble and dont use these guys.Dont let them ruin your plans!
Showed up on 12/27/2017 to get 1 - 5 gallon bottle of propane filled at 6:43pm for my camper that was empty & needed that night. The 2 young men said sorry were closed. I said, arent you open for another 15 minutes? He said it depends on supply & demand. I told him I needed it that night for heat. He said sorry, were closed. I left & found a nice man at a gas station to help me. Ill never give my business to this Uhaul again!!!!! 😠👎

Ended up here due to horrible customer service by the owner at Trudies Treasure Hutz down the road. Her supervisor, George, is no better.The true heroes are Jason, Timothy, and David at this location in Parkland. Timothy and Jason helped me with check-in. They answered all my of questions that Trudie would not answer. Both of them were polite and very efficient at their job. Jason even let me follow him to the pickup lot so I could find my rental faster. Amazing! David helped me the following day with a few follow up questions and offered to assist my drop off location if they needed it. I had a gift certificate applied to my account and it caused a little confusion during pick-up. He handled it like a champ (so did the drop off location, btw).If you are in Tacoma and need a uhaul service, go to the Parkland location and avoid Trudies Treasure Hutz at all costs.
Friendly staff. When I picked up there truck there was two workers and it was quick. When dropping it off they were down to one worker and the guy was overwhelmed but he worked as quick as we could to help each customer and did his best.
It was my first time renting a uhaul and the manager, I believe his name was David, made it really easy. He was very friendly, patient, and informative.We had a hiccup when we picked up the uhaul vehicle and found out the next day, and he helped us with no questions asked and the Call Center was quick to help as well.Id definitely recommend people renting from this uhaul location. :)All the employees were nice. I dont know the names unfortunately but the guy outside while my friend and I inspected our uhaul was friendly and checked on us to make sure things were ok. I think he was vehicle maintenance or something of the sort ?
Loaded a Ubox full of everything I own at this facility to be shipped to the east coast. In person, service was fine. As soon as I left the state, all hell broke loose. Someone in Tacoma messed up my reservation in the system, took several weeks to even get it corrected and shipped. Now it’s supposed to have arrived in MA over a week ago but no one can find it. Have placed over 30 calls to Uhaul in the last month but just get bounced around and told to call someone else (Tacoma, MA, national numbers, traffic, customer service, regional office, etc etc). 10 moves in 10 years and this is hands down the worst and most stressful. Would not recommend, ever. Disastrous experience and I will be demanding a refund, whether or not they ever find my stuff.
Truly a horrible experiene.I called before needing to access my stuff in storage, to schedule to unload my crate. They never called back. I called again. They didnt pick up all morning long, leaving it to the central office. Finally, the fourth person (fourth!) in the central office made an appointment for me on the next day, when Id already taken today off of work to take care of this.Why didnt they call back in the first place? I gave them plenty of time to make an appointment. Why did it take the fourth person I spoke to to finally be able to make an appointment? And when I expressed my own frustration (in a civil manner), she started getting testy with me as if it was my fault that I couldnt get through to them.Avoid. This is *not* a professional outfit.
They charged $20 for dropping it off a day early after hours which after spending close to 20k in uhauls past 8 years I’ve NEVER been charged this. In addition they charged me $10 clean out which also insured & NEVER been charged & 100% swept out & cleaned out cab as always. I will NEVER Pick up or drop off at this location again if I even choose to use uhaul in the future.!!

If you are black do not go to this Uhaul. I will find out if it is privately owned also. I go to this place a lot and not once has one of the people in there spoke. Today I went there and the the guy was not even inside and I know he saw me walk up. I had to go outside and call out to find someone and when he finally showed up he was mumbling something. If you are of any kind of minority do not go to this place. These people probably just tested me to see if I would steal. He was probably around the corner with the phone waiting for me to walk out with something. Why would you let someone wonder around in your store while you are not anywhere to be seen?
The manager was very rude, he didnt greet us when we entered and didnt treat us like valuable customers. I tried to ask one simple question he was simply annoyed and irritated like he didnt want us there. He was on the computer and acted like he was so busy(mind you he walked in the store behind me) that i need to wait to ask a question after HE asked what i was getting which he did rudely. I asked if it was $19 hourly, he made me wait til he was finished doing whatever he was doing and wanted to answer that simple question and I said nevermind! He was rude to my step mother and she was so polite! I wish I can give him a negative star. Have business somewhere else, so you can feel welcomed and appreciated!!

I have dealt with with this U-Haul location & the Storage unit down the street.Terrible communication skills! They claim to have called & sent numerous emails. I never once recieved ANY voice messages. I did recieve ONE email that had been sent to the wrong email address but when I responded was given the run around & told that I would get a call back. Needless to say that never happened! Now they are telling me I am being evicted from my storage unit for not keeping in contact with them about the fact that the door on my storage unit is broken & has been for over a month!!! Which is the reason that I had been trying to contact them in the first place!!! I went into the unit itself a few weeks ago & used Gorilla tape to tape it from the inside so that it wasnt an open invitation for anyone to take what they wanted!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CLOWNS!!!
Went in to get a quote for some uboxes for a cross country move. The man that helped me was fantastic. Was very patient and made two different types of quotes for me. Most pleasant uhaul experience so far. (The one down the road in Spanaway is horrible!).
Do NOT waste your time doing business with this U-Haul location. I can deal with honest mistakes but not with individuals who compromise their integrity. In an attempt to track down my u-boxes, the employees at this location were extremely condescending, lacked any customer service ability, and lied to me and a corporate u-haul manager while we were tracking down my crates. If you want a job done right, do yourself a favor and visit Tyler at the 12th and L location.

Worst customer service and experience Ive ever had! Your employee Benjamin is argumentative and lacks any kind of customer service skills. Collin was better when I came back to speak to a manager. The mileage on my truck was entered incorrectly so I couldnt return my truck online. I had to interrupt the off duty staff on a Sunday to give back the keys. UHaul is a joke and Ill gladly take my business elsewhere.
Don’t rent anything from this place. Rude staff and so poorly ran. I dropped my cargo van rental off 1/2 hour early and barely got home before I was called because I did not return it. Then you have to drive back to the facility as they never answer calls. Had to get corporate involved. Huge waste of time due to total incompetence on the staff.
Sep 11, 2016. We arrived at 0900 to pick up a reservation. There was a guy ahead of us returning his trailer who was due a $25 refund. He refused to leave without the refund and his vehicle was blocking the way for everyone else. So business was at a standstill. The person in charge said that he had $100 in his till. He said he wasnt allowed to use any of it until there were sales and there hadnt been any sales yet. He said it was company policy. He said if he did they would take it out of his pay. My daughter called the store manager, Michael, whose number was listed on the door, but got no answer. So then we called Larry, the company president, and suddenly things got moving. Either the guy in charge on duty was just a dud manager or the general work environment has the employees so micromanaged that they are afraid to make a decision. Either way, they have management problems. There was another employee present and he offered the person in charge, nor us, any help or ideas or alternatives. He just stood there with, I cant help this look on his face.
Very very poor customer service. The lady I dealt with mostly was friendly enough but the gentlemen there (I wish I remembered his name) was incredibly rude to every customer. He had an additude that he was superior than his idiot customers. He mumbles and then when he has to repeat himself he yells what he just said in a very rude manner. How dare we not hear what he said? I watched him yell at an old man who didnt understand the line situation and the fact that he wasnt going to be helping customers at his station. Ive rented several different trucks here and they just dont seem well maintained. I understand they get a lot of use and abuse but little things like tire pressure warning lights are completely ignored. They tried to charge me for 400 miles when I went 9 miles because the van they rented to me in the system was different than the one they gave me the keys for. If I wasnt able to see the screen and notice the different equipement number, Im not sure I would have got it fixed. Also I had to do my own damage report and walk around the van because they were too busy. Ive rented Uhauls for a long time and that was a first.
The guy attending was extremely rude and arrogant.Since I had never re filled a propane tank before I made the mistake of bringing it inside the store and he chewed me up for that in a very arrogant manner.When I confronted him about his rudeness he said to me “if you think I’m being rude you can take your business somewhere else and he just walked away”.This place has horrible customer service skills. If your employee is a hot head you should never put him in front of customers.This was my first and last time to ever do business there.I would never recommend this place anyone.
Ive stopped by here a couple of times for propane. The first time would have been two stars for how bad the customer service was. The second time was a lot better. The propane is also the cheapest Ive found in the area.

Do not use this U-Haul franchise. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I reserved and had a Guarantee for a truck rental a week in advance only to find out that the prior renter did not return it on schedule. NO TRUCK for me and my 4 movers to use. That apparently was my problem all of a sudden! they would not even give me another truck that matched my reservation that was in stock sitting in front. Apparently reserved for another client that had not even shown up yet. So Im the customer standing there Who had a reservation and a guarantee for a 26 foot truck but got rejected. To top it off the manager, Michael Simolke would not address me or my concerns. He pushed me into a MUCH smaller truck causing a one day move to turn into a 3 day move with late fees, added expenses and generally the wrong truck for the size of job. Horrible customer service and UHaul experience. I highly recommend you dont use this UHaul dealer.

Terrible customer service. My friend, his wife and I heard the guy tell us to have the van back 8. When we got back it was 10 mins til 8. Turns out they closed at 7. They didnt have their hours posted anywhere. You said to have it back 8, then I except for You to be here. Tried calling customer service and been on hold for twenty minutes. Needless to say Im more then quite angry.
We used this U-haul Moving location. Collin and Benjamin were so sweet and helpful checking out and checking in. They were both so professional, polite and knowledgeable i was very impressed with these young men.
Firstly, ignore Ellers comment. Rental equipment doesnt magically fly around and the level of convenient access she thinks is realistic would add enormous costs to do business and guess who pays for it? Im picking up there later today and I learned the closer location is down due to owner matters not revealed. Was, waa... 15 minutes to slap U haul with 1 star. SMHI just finished driving from Alabama to Fort Lewis and Im thankful to find the equipment needed for moving from storage unit today! Suck it up snowflake!

This Uhaul storage has a limit of 30 minutes or less to access my things my things have been stored here for almost a year if anything is on the items it is dead and I am wearing mask and gloves plus I am disabled and it says if I go over 30minutes I could have limited access to my storage unit in the future I’ve tried calling several times only to be transferred to a call center who has also tried to contact them this is very frustrating for me.
Absolutely terrible. Reserved a truck and auto transport. I didnt end up needing an auto transport so i called and cancelled the transport only. The lady on the phone confirmed i still needed the truck. I showed up to the store and they had cancelled my whole reservation and already given away the truck i had reserved. On top of everything, the employees bickered like disgruntled siblings. Very unprofessional.
This location only has 2 staffs and thats it. Theres between 7-10 of us there and weve waited for 1 and 30 mins on a sunday night and theyre supposed to be closed by 5pm but since theres only 2 of them they have tos stay just to finish up all the people thats already there.The staffs are doing the best they could but due to high demand in service, we were stuck there. Parking lot is horrible too. For a company that rents out truck, they barely can park their own vehicles let alone the customers. Poor employees.

Rented a van for the day, was told it was full of gas. Drove 19 miles with a modest load and had to put 5 gallons of fuel in the dang thing. Needless to say tank was not full. They did make it right and gave me a credit on my bill but I had to make a stink and show my gas receipt. Overall ok, but not great.

I reserve the truck today May 20th approximately 12 p.m. I took a taxi cab down to the UHaul truck and they said they didnt reserve anything from me. Im very disappointed
Have a reservation for 9 am they open at 9 and have one person here . 8 people in line. Now its almost 10 and the rental starts at your reservation time. This is a crappy place . On top of that, we made a reservation to a site closer to out home and storage unit. But give us a rental the futlrthest one out. I call bull s***

Very rude! I bought a case of boxes because they said I could return whatever I dont use. They didnt inform me to keep the receipt when I bought them. Who keeps a receipt for boxes when they are moving anyways.

The employees are very friendly. The truck I got was brand new and very clean. My only concern was the lack of parking for customers. I could not find a parking spot and an employee offered to move their car so I could park mine in their spot.
