The dude who did my septum piercing was super chill and very welcoming. The atmosphere was really nice. I was a little anxious but the dudes attitude really put my mind at ease. Overall, it was a great experience and I will go again for future piercing and tattoo needs.

I was able to get an appointment the same day with Ronny who did my piercing. Ronny was super professional and made me feel comfortable right away. He suggested the aftercare spray for healing which legit works wonders. I have been wanting to find a new place to go for a long time and now I’m looking for new areas to get pierced so I can go back:)!

Made an appointment yesterday night to get a piercing with my sister and the guy said to come down at 8:30. We get there at 8:15 and anticipate having to wait. Three guys walked in the same time as us (piercer said oh you’re the guys that just called right?) they say they need 10 piercings in total and did NOT have an appointment. So the piercer tells us that we need wait 30-45 minutes (even though we HAD an appointment. So we go shop around down the street and come back in 30 minutes. He then tells us it will be another 30-45 minutes since he still is not finished with even one of the guys. I told him he should not have scheduled us or taken the walk in first, no response from him. I asked him if they had an appointment (already knowing they didn’t since I heard him say it) and he said yes. I told him I know that is a lie since I heard him say they were walk ins and he walks away. My sister then calls out to him to see if she can at least buy a new earring and he says sure go ahead. Didn’t even assist her. She saw the poor selection and his lack of interest in helping her so we left, all very irritated. What a total freaking waste of time and he never even apologized. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

I went in this morning and got my septum pierced by Ronny, he seemed a little flustered but did an ok job. When I got home after a long day one of the balls from my jewelry fell out while I was showering. Luckily I found it but it’s a hassle to get those things back on.

Very polite, took care of my daughter, my ex, and helped me when he didnt have to. He is cool AF.

Please get a new receptionist cause the dude working your phones is rude! 🙃

Ronny was my piercer, and he was very hospitable and kind the entire time. He made sure I was okay, and it was quick and fairly painless!

Tattoo looked faded and incomplete when finished, which it turned out to be. Owner also raised the price upon hearing I had more cash on me. Probably gonna retouch it later but not here for sure

I came to this location after being referred by a friend and the piercer didn’t change his gloves the whole time while setting up as he touched other things in the studio then tried to pierce me afterwards. After I brought up the fact that he was no longer sterile he was extremely rude to me and said he knew what he was doing and to relax. This behavior was so completely rude I decided to walk out without the piercing as I didn’t want some random infection from everything not being sterile and he decided to follow me out saying I owed him money for “setting up” I normally tip 25% or more every time I get any service but the way he was so extremely rude, unprofessional, and most importantly unclean and didn’t even provide a service did NOT deserve a tip. do NOT recommend this place. HTC down the street is way better and professional!

Absolutely worst experience we’ve had at a tattoo shop. they messed up my best friends nipple piercings. we called and they gave us a price for the piercing + jewelry; once we finished our appointment the guy charged each of us $50 more than he told us the price would be. soooo unprofessional and would not honor the price he told us 1 hour before our appointment.

I came with 3 friends on 5/15 to get tattoos for to celebrate a birthday. The artist Angel did an amazing job, and the only reason why I don’t rate this place 1 star. We had a wonderful experience with her, I was quite nervous because this was my first tattoo but Angel was quite reassuring. Everything was great until we left. The manager called us because his keys went missing. He was accusing my mother of stealing them. Even though there was cameras in the building he was adamant that my mom took them. He even threatened to call the police. Which we said to go ahead and call. He claimed that he caught her on camera taking them which was a lie. He kept pushing that lie. We was very disappointed in his actions, how we were treated like thieves. He had no evidence yet kept pushing that narrative. We offered to drive back and were fully cooperating with him. After arguing on the phone with my mom for a while. he finally dropped the whole ordeal. After he actually checked the camera footage he saw that it was another patron who took the keys. I was discourage from ever coming back to this establishment. But just because we had a terrible experience with him I’m not going to discredit the artist Angel, she was amazing. If I could I would rate her 5/5 stars.I have a piece of advice for him, next time to you accuse someone of stealing have concrete evidence. Don’t assume. That was very unprofessional and degrading. I took this personal because he accused my mother of this. The person who taught us stealing is wrong.

I got my nose pierced here a while back by rony. He was very helpful, nice, and professional the whole time. I was just in yesterday for a tattoo and the artist, Sam, was incredible! My tattoo looks amazing and he was very helpful in answering all of my questions. I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend going here!

Joshua D is a true artist(not to be confused with the other Josh that used to work there and wasnt good, think his last name started with S?).Anyways like I said Joshua D is amazing he has done multiple tattoos for me and is doing a sleeve for my fiance, all of our best ink has been done by him! He is able to provide artistic input into the design when we wanted, has done any style we asked for and you can tell he cares about his work. You can thank me later skip the trendy spots and go see Joshua.

So originally I was going to give them a one star because the piercer did a really bad jon with my piercing I bump it up to a 3 because one of the other peircers atleast fixed part of the notch job.

Ronny was super helpful throughout the entire process, and extremely professional. Skin Labs expert tattoo artist Sam totally blew me away with the final product. I hope he sticks around because he might just be the only artist I need to see.

This weekend I took my daughter to get her 1st tattoo for her Birthday on Saturday night. We checked @ for our options & I was surprised to find the Skin lab tattoo was 1 of 2 locations in the Southern Tempe area that were open later than 6 or 8 p.m. Skin Lab Tattoo stay open till midnight on the weekend, We were pleased with our choice. 😁Even. the price$ is were pleasantly reasonable + We got a discount for our next visit. Keith was Ciaras tattoo Artist & He did an Awesome job!. What a Fun & Exciting experience. Well be back 4 sure !

Dont let the outside fool you- This place is quiet,clean and well kept! The employees were VERY friendly and knowledgeable. I was in and out in about 20 minutes as there were a few ladies before me. My piercer (Ronny) wiped down my room, washed and gloved his hands and asked me how and where exactly I wanted my piercing. I was very nervous (I hate needles) but he made me comfortable and it was REALLY not that bad. He was done in a second with no lingering pain and I will certainly be back for another once this one has healed a bit more :) Highly recommended!

Ronny is the best piercer in the whole state of Arizona! Ive been to him twice to get my nose done and my industrial redone and he was nothing shy of perfection! It was little to no pain at all and he does every job with safety and cleanliness first always. I tell my coworkers, family and anyone I can about Skinlab! This will be the one and only place I get a piercing at. Everything is clean, quiet and Ronny is very informative and just a delight! Everyone needs to go to him.

Great Place ! In December I got my first two piercings (belly&tongue) from here they were great people very clean which made me really happy. I went to this shop to get a piercing reopened on the recommendation of a friend. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and above all talented. R___, the owner and piercer, worked with me on pricing, and I ended up getting a better deal then any other shop I got quoted at.The environment is a bit intimidating, having graffiti-style air brushed murals in every private room (the oddest being clown themed (Not-ICP)), but the shop policies on sterilization, use of top-end equipment, and super talented staff more then make up for it. I have been looking for a shop to do my first tat in a couple months, and these guys have my business for as long as I live in Arizona!!

Best tattoo parlor Ive been to! Keith really did a great job. He took my idea and drew it out and made it 10 times better. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a great clean tattoo!

Long wait

Went to get filler done for a tattoo on my face. Guy rushed me, Im pretty sure he was also an apprentice as he was also very unprofessional. had the machine set up before he even drew it or gave me a price. He drew it up and I was unsure of it, so he kept saying the quicker you sit down the quicker we can get it done, kept trying to stop me from changing my mind on it. I paid $80 for barely anything, I couldve just done it myself with my machine in the mirror at my house. Then he hit on my friend and made her extremely uncomfortable. I definitely wont be going back. Ill make sure nobody I know, goes there.

Everyone there was kind and comforting and everything went well while piercing my nipples. Its now been 2 months and one is perfect. Unfortunately the other one is actually right below the nipple rather than right behind it. So that is a little frustrating.

Unprofessional. Came from out of town and went in on Saturday evening looking to get a walk in or set up an appointment. I wanted a small simple owl tattoo on my wrist. First they were going to charge me $150 for it which was way over priced. Ronnie said they could fit me in later in the evening. Never called me until the next day (Sunday) wanting to fit me in around 6pm. Ronnie called me back and said that they’d call me the following day (Monday) to set up a time and has not gotten back to me. I’ve worked in a tattoo shop before and it doesn’t take 3 days to set up an appointment for a small tattoo. I leave to go back home early tomorrow morning and I was never able to get this tattoo because I relied on this tattoo shop. Huge mistake.

My friend and i went for piercings, and after quite a bit of searching, we settled on SkinLab, which was an awful mistake. From the atmosphere of the place to the way its managed, everything appears to be unorganized, and for a tattoo/piercing joint, unsanitary. All of this was immediately clear when we got there, but we decided to go through with it, anyway. But things only went downhill from there. The piercer seemed unsettled, to the point he had difficulty setting one of my friends piercings--it took nearly a good ten minutes for that piercing alone. To make things worse, he got up and left halfway through, so he could go give somebody a ride...not exactly professional. Even after we were finished, things felt off. The cleaning advice we were given seems completely inaccurate, and this morning, one of my friends piercings already looked infected.Needless to say, we dont plan on going back.

Horrible place. my friend went in and got a tattoo done . and it looks nothing like the picture . it looks like a cross between and pissed off pop tart and the kool aid man . it may be small but it deff left a hug impression on her and myself . please get better artist .

Dont go to this place. I had my daith pierced and the guy ronny screwed it up. I had no issues with it healing but he pierced it so superficially that I am going to have to have it repierced after i let this hole heal. Its been 2month since i got it and and the skin is so thin that you can see the metal of the hoop through the outer part. I went to another piercer to see of that is normal and they said no not at all that is extremely poorly done. $60 and months of healing totally wasted.

First time a piercer has stretched my gauges and not made me go through a partial blowout. He took his time stretching, and making sure not to force the earring into my ear.
