My device ... HOT SPOT .. had a defect . Was told I could take it to the store to swap it . Store said to take it to another location that would be able to swap it their . That store then told me I would have to call the service number ... Got hung up on . Called back and finally got it stright .... Needles to say, Im a happy man now . Just my new device will arrive in 3 - 5 weeks . The last lady I talked to was on th phone was really helpful .

(dissatisfied loyal customer since 1998) 1-2 bars all over within Thomasville city limits. 4-5 bars in Thomas county. When you do get lucky and find enough coverage the bandwidth is so low you have to wait minutes to check email. According to Verizon this is because they are experiencing an abnormally high data demand at this time. Happens in the morning, midday, and afternoon. Would jump at the chance to switch if Mint or Boost comes to town.

Two stars because Verizon has great service most places besides Thomasville. I find it astounding that I (and many others) have to drive out of town to be able to make a phone call. While I know that is not this specific branches doings, I think that our branch needs to make it right by getting another tower or doing what it takes to better our service here. When we have complained about our service, Verizon has told us to get a “service booster” for our homes. While it works at home, it does not help in town. If Verizon service doesn’t change soon, my husband and I plan to change to a different carrier.

My wife and I stopped in on Sunday to trade in her phone for 5G Apple 12 Pro. We failed to read reviews before arriving and received the same poor service others have noted here. They truly do Not help you set up nor Assist you in transferring old phone to new phone. They just sell you all the various required prices separately and send you on your way with instructions. My wife was so fustrated when trying to do at home herself and then called tech support to get it half done as they required her to call another number whim caused the new phone to no longer work even half way. She had to travel back to the store on Monday to get another employee to help her. This store should be shut down as the Verizon stores in Ocala FL will transfer your data for you. Stay Away from this store!

If you buy a phone out right from Best Buy to replace a phone on your 15 year old Verizon plan, they will not help you or even try to trouble shoot any issues. (I was having texting issues). Just took it back to Best Buy and all it needed was a new SIM card. You would think me being a valued customer (15 years x $386 a month=Just under $70,000) they would have bent over backwards...... not the Thomasville location.

My wife went to this store to get her phone seen about as she can’t make or receive calls. She explained that she can’t wear a mask because of a medical condition. The initial employee nicely tried to help her outside at a distance greater than six feet, but the store manager came outside and told the employee that he could absolutely not help her unless she wore a mask, even outside and even at reasonable separation, and the manager demanded that she leave and call customer service for help instead. As other store patrons watched him embarrass her and shun her like a diseased person not worthy of his service, she explained that her phone didn’t work and that she couldn’t make calls. He still refused to help her, demanded that she leave and since Verizon customer service is currently useless (I know because I’ve been trying all week from our only other phone...can’t talk to anyone) she still doesn’t have a working phone. This store manager could have found a way to work through this situation as any service oriented manager would, understanding that every situation is different and everyone can’t wear a mask, but rather he chose to be radically legalistic and discriminate against her because of a medical condition embarrassing her in front of everyone at the store and leaving her with a phone that still hasn’t been fixed.Update 8/29/20: The same day that the owner responded to my review, I emailed the address I was given, gave my contact information, and used the Google reference number I was given. The review was supposed to be escalated...5 days later, still no response from Verizon.Update 9/20/20: I have emailed what the owner asked me to send twice...22 more days later, still no response from Verizon or the owner. Just wanted to put that out there. Very poor...

I came to the Verizon store because I needed help with my Apple ID verification to get into my phone, and I needed to get a proof of purchase for my iPhone from a few years ago. The customer representative very politely told me that they could not help me, and that I would need to call customer service. I asked her if we could not call customer service from right there in the store, because the reason I came in was that my phone isnt working. Again, she politely told me that we could not call customer service and that they couldnt help me. There is no point in being polite if you are unwilling to help a customer. I am now not only out of a phone, but I wasted my entire lunch hour without getting my issue resolved. If I stay with Verizon, I will now only call customer service and not waste my time going by the store.

Bought a device but they didnt actually give me the code to activate it. Called back up there, waited 15 minutes on hold and guy who answered transferred me to customer service (code for hung up on me). Its pretty basic. Sell a device and ensure its activated.Update: grateful for the reply from the store. Upgraded review.

Staff are limited in knowledge on products and services. Often they have to call regional office for assistance with customers. Honestly the cell plans are competitive, but well known that getting better service online than at the store. Company has some stupid requirements to debit payments directly to bank accounts.

Manager was rude about wearing a mask to start off with so I went outside,my wife got a new phone,they just take your money throw the phone in the bag,and thats it, they dont activate the new phone or nothing, all I heard from the man helping us, was no we dont do this,that or pretty much nothing except take your money,put the items in the bag, and send you on your way

The employees there must be writing their own reviews. So, unless there has been a COMPLETE overhaul in staff....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Well, with all the great reviews my family and I with over 20 yrs of loyalty to this Verizon must be being discriminated against because in other stores of a different state, the bar has been set high and we must be problems for this store. I have NEVER been treated so poorly and would rather deal with Corp or auth retailer in the town of Thomasville. Unless management has changed, I will NOT step foot in here unless there is zero choice in the matter. Verizon Corp has notes, pages and pages of complaints fro. Not only myself, but, other customers I see in the auth dealer store and according to Corp. Also, remember, poor leadership and workplace environment starts from manager down. We, being such dedicated customers for so many yrs, have NEVER had issues nor complained until moving to this town and dealing with this store. The stories I have from being kept in the store for no less than 3, but, up to 6 hrs before, or being charged 10$ for a person to download my contacts, to just plain being ignored and if I spoke up, I would get ignored and treated even worse. Why do you think we now have a lifetime 15% discount. Unbelievable, still, nothing has been done. When I call Corp, they are ashamed, which I can understand.

Highly recommend!My wife and I came into this store after a disappointing experience at another store less than a week before. I was not expecting much, but all I really wanted to do was check to see if they had a specific product in stock.Chris R(not publishing last name for his privacy) greeted us upon entry and listened to my request without asking a bunch of sales pitch type questions. It was a simple thing really. We needed another MiFi device and I specifically wanted the 8800 after researching. Chris immediately got us what we wanted without trying to sell us on an outdated model and without trying to push new phones, watches, or anything else on us.The entire process took five minutes and it would have taken less except I had to take the time to thank him and explain the aforementioned disappointing experience. Even though he had nothing to do with it, he apologized for the experience and told us that if we had any questions down the road to call him.His attitude and professionalism was outstanding and we will be returning to this store for our Verizon needs.

I visited the VZW store today as my iPhone died last night. As we all know we cant live without these devices especially if you use it for business so yeah there is always anxiety to a dead phone. Anyhow - i was greeted at the door by LaMishia with the most friendly voice and attitude. Once i explained the reason for the visit she instantly knew the situation and and started helping me with the fix. During the time while working she gave me very knowledgeable detailed information to make the decisions and while working on my phone she was extremely pleasant with conversation - all around perfect customer care experience! Even helped another lady that walked up with her phone, at the same time taking care of us both without hesitation. If VZW doesnt make her the face of customer care, and use her to train others then VZW is losing out. Great experience LaMishia.

Im not happy with Verizon or its service. Ive been with them for several years. I tried using their message service to fix a problem..what a joke .i talk to a live customer service rep. Made me feel like it was a problem for him to help me. Telling me to go the way i already tried. It fixed my phone for a min then back off. I went to the store they tell me netwirk work problems. Still having problems with service and internet service. I sent a message back on a message sent by Verizon.. still havent got a respond.
