My husband and I went in for a TV and looked around at the selection, all out of order, for 30 minutes without any employee asking us if we needed help. Several employees passed us by and stood around. We were only asked once we started to walk out the door. Ive never had a customer service experience with any Best Buy employee. We did more shopping around and got the TV from them, they get 2 stars for the TV being exceptional. As a store it is unimpressive.

I had the pleasure of having Ty assist me with the set up of my new phone. He was a very customer oriented young man, while waiting for my phone to do its thing I saw him assist another customer he remembered from November! The gentleman was as impressed as I was that Ty remembered him. Ty took the time to answer all of my questions and got me on my way efficiently and quickly! Great job Ty! I hope Best Buy realizes what an absolute gem they have working for them!

I am a Best Buy regular when it comes to big ticket items like kitchen appliances, vacuums TVs and such. A lot of the smaller things that dont matter so much I just buy on Amazon. I think the game that a lot of people like to play is go to a local store and check it out, and if they like it they buy it online for that cheaper price they can offer because they dont have to pay for display models or worry about theft and all things similar. This leads to the four star review. My only complaint about our store is that a lot of the display models are not in working order. I went to look at some car audio speakers for my sons car but nothing was working so I couldnt listen to anything. The store has always been clean and well lit. Just fix or remove non working displays!

I went here to buy a new computer. I told the man working there that i needed a computer that plays world of warcraft. He was so helpful. The best computer was not in stock. I was upset because my computer is about to die. He said i couldnt get it for about a week. Then he found where i can it in two days. He was very helpful and my computer comes tomorrow. Love best buy.

Ive recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy fold 3 black and 256gb model from there website. I payed for faster shipping and it was ship through UPS. The packaged was delayed going on two days. I have chatted with customer service over this issue and they gave me misinformation. The last update on where the package was in my city at around 1258pm on the 22nd. The last update was around 7pm same day stating the address was corrected and on the way to the access point. Its now the 24th and I have not gotten a single update since then. Ive called UPS and Best buy support and they always tell me to wait or lie and state it should be there next day before 7pm. I called the UPS store and with out even making a effort they stated the package has not even arrived. I only gave them my first name which is a common one. Best buy tells me nothing and UPS doesnt know where my 2000 dollar phone is... Stick to Amazon Ive never had any problems with them. Im posting pictures of my Second conversation I have had with bestbuy customer service trying to resolve this issue. They keep blowing me off and giving me random numbers. I just finished a chat and the person stop responding hoping I will leave

I just spent nearly an hour trying to contact them online about a Protection Plan. Unfortunately when accessing the email from my phone the pages would at first not seem to load despite having a high-speed WiFi. Then when it did load after I signed in it kept telling me to sign in again to see my plans. I accessed the website from my laptop thinking my phone was the problem. Having no luck with the website I used the Contact Service Agent feature. An automated response system answered. After several prompts it told me I was being transferred to a live agent. It was obvious from the responses I continued to receive that I was not in fact transferred to a live agent but still dealing with an automated response system. Now an hour I am no more informed than I was earlier. Its amazing to think a company that primarily works with IT has such a poor website and customer service system.

Went because the website didnt show some parts necessary for a car stereo install. The car audio wall was a mess, but I hear there is a car audio supply shortage. But it was bad looking. Half the recievers didnt even have a price tag or info. The install guy wasnt there on a Monday? The people there tried to help best they could, but they said my questions couldnt be answered till Wednesday when the install guy came to work.

The store itself is fine, just don’t go to the auto installation. I wasted a lot of money (will not refund me) and 2 months of my time just for the guy to tell me he couldn’t install a radio. I don’t know how to describe this experience, people just don’t go... you’re better off somewhere else.

I love Best Buy. Ive wanted to work for Best Buy ever since I was a little kid and even still being 35 it hasnt gone away...I m a little bit of a nerd..jest with my passion for all things tech(especially more specifically areas like cell phones, computers, bluetooth, video games. On this particular shopping trip, I was being blessed with a brand new Chromebook to help me graduate and be as much support as possible in my endeavors to change my life for the better. The tech guys were very knowledgeable about my there product and it was great they had what I wanted in stock. Whereas before over at Walmart no offense or anything but they had the pictures up for Chromebooks and stuff but come to find out when we went to go purchase the Chromebooks they have any and the store at all and that was really frustrating unless you to go right across the street and get it taken care of Walmart is As We Know really good but sometimes some things certain people just do better ..Thanks for a amazing shopping experience.....

I went in to look at TVs and record players. There were three people at the front that greeted me and were very helpful. I told one of the guys what I was looking for. He told me where to go and said to ask anyone if I had any questions. I was looking for about 20 minutes and decided to buy an LG 75 inch 4K television and a record player. As I was taking the record player off the shelf, an associate approached me and asked why I wasnt wearing a mask. I told him it was for religious reasons. He told me that I was not allowed in the store without a mask and would not accept my reasoning. As I was walking out, the same guy that showed me where to go asked if I had found what I was looking for. I told him yes, but was being kicked our for not wearing a mask. He said he was sorry and that he would help me. I told him that I was not interested in purchasing anything anymore and left. If there was an issue, it should have been addressed at the door. I am wanting to support businesses in the area instead of buying online, but will not be subjected to my civil liberties being violated. Best Buy just lost a $1,500.00 sale today and any future business from me.

I recently went to this Best buy in Topeka to get some help with some Wi-Fi solutions for my RV. I was greeted at the door and asked what my problem was and that they would set me up with the correct person to help me. there was a gentleman that came over to the Wi-Fi area I spoke to him about my issues he suggested a product he said oh it would work I made sure that he knew what I needed that I wasnt going to be hooked up to a cable internet and that was going off a free Wi-Fi and he said he understood and I asked him again was this product going to work with what I was doing and he said yes. I got home opened the box realized it wasnt going to work because it needed to be hooked up cuz that was the first step and the setup process. I tried calling Best buy back to talk to a manager because I had already driven over 120 miles round trip to buy this product. I was told that I would have a manager call me back within 24 hours and Ive yet to hear back from a manager. the so-called experts are not experts and management does not want to deal with customer service. These people are a waste of time and they do not help their customers. I would drive miles to another Best buy before I use these people because obviously they dont care enough to call back and talk to consumers that have complaints about their so-called experts.

Spent another $150.00 and 4 yr. extended warranty amounting to $200.00 total.Clerk was not in least compassionate about this.Topeka needs more competition to choose from. Price on what I was looking for was not the same as advertised online; so when checking out I had to wait for it to be fixed by a manager. Also, I needed help on the specific item, and the sales clerk did not have any knowledge of the product. Then told me that they did not have the specific photo paper that I needed and told me to go to an office supply store! I knew they had to have it, so asked for someone else to help me. Sure enough -she found it with no problem.Im sure some associates are good, and some are bad, but they need to make sure and keep the bad ones off the floor! This guy would have lost this sale for them if I wasnt so tired and didnt feel like going somewhere else to get it.

They sold me the wrong computer knowing its not want I wanted or needed, then fought me on the return of the wrong computer! Even tried to do more work on the wrong computer to make it the right programming when I was repeatedly telling them I do not want them to do that and I just want them to return it and start fresh! Finally they agreed to just return it, give me all of my money back and let me start fresh! I then went over to the computer department and I worked with Anna, and she totally saved the day by listening to me and respecting my opinion and my knowledge of computers! I walked out of the store with what I needed and a little bit left frustrated then when I walked in! Overall not say awesome experience one bit!

The service is absolutely terrible. First, when I called in to check and see if the store even carries the item the auto phone system tells me to go online. Then it put me on hold for twenty minutes. I went to the store. I am disabled in various ways. The young man at the door asked me what I was there for. I explained I was looking for mobile video cameras like a GoPro. He said they didnt have any. I desperately needed a restroom and started to head that way. He told me I needed a mask. I explained Im disabled and cannot wear a mask, but needed a restroom immediately. He said, I dont care if youre disabled. Youre going to wear a mask or youre going to leave. I reminded him that the ADA doesnt allow him to discriminate against me. He said no one gets in without a mask and that because they are a private business they are exempt. I told him they are not exempt and proceeded to head towards the restrooms. He got in front of me and threatened me while telling me all the restrooms are out of order. I asked to have the manager come over and he said he was the manager. I asked for his card and he said he didnt have any yet. I told him I wouldnt be back. I can look in my Quickbooks and tell you I have spent around $10,000 at Bestbuy in the last 18 months as I am an IT professional and purchase on behalf of my customers routinely. This is an outrage that this location discriminates against the disabled. I will do my best to share my story everywhere I can. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE EVER.

One Samsung associates hard work of awesome customer service towards me was all ruined by one Best Buy associate who has no business being in retail or customer service. The managers inability to care didnt help matters any so I went to Sams Club where I bought my new smart phone, wearable device, & printer. Best Buy has a great warranty, & I like the Geek Squad, but without the manager & employees on the sales floor having the customers best interest in mind it is a deal breaker for me.

Best Buy loves to sell stuff. But serving what they sell seems to be a low priority. They have a phone answering recording that could be easily summed up as ... Leave us alone! I have tried repeatedly to talk to a Geek Squad ... and after listening to a lengthy intro .. the department phone begins to ring. And ring. And ring. Twice today I have tried to call and after 20 rings I hung up. Solution? Buy local. AVOID BIG BOX STORES LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY simply do not care to service your product.

Unfortunately, Best Buy no longer has the massive PC component inventory they once did. I was unable to find a USB 3.0 PCIE card in store. Only available online. I did impulse buy a really cool Logitech mechanical keyboard with even cooler RGB lighting for basically the same price it is everywhere. Long inefficient check out lines. If you are seriously looking for computer parts or upgrades I recommend Micro Center in Overland Park.

Called in today trying to place almost a $1K order (11/08/2020). I was trying to use different payment sources on website. After 15 minute hold, sales person seemed uninterested in helping me to facilitate transaction. I could come into the store, which my schedule does not permit, but was unwilling to facilitate due to not having secure method to transact. This indicates to me that staff is untrustworthy to take my card number and not abuse it. I have the SKU and payment details, but you guys cant assist in placing order??? Seems to me thats one of the reasons to have a brick and mortar. One of the payment methods is a non-branded GC. I guess Ill figure it out with another vendor.

There was one salesperson in the area who had a woman taking up all of his time and 3 to 4 people including me waiting to purchase a 50 TV. he should have excused himself and called for help. I left the store and went to a nearby store and ended up purchasing a 43 in ch when I wanted a 50 inch.
