Always friendly and helpful. Every time my dryer breaks down, they always have the part I need.
Shouldnt take 2 service calls if they have work on GE appliances for 40 years. It would take 4 weeks to fix a simple repair. Will never use or recommend. Not Happy!!
I called for a part on a Saturday, and although they were about to close they offered to stay open until I arrived. When I arrived they were very happy to help and did not seem the least bit inconvenienced.

Quick service and reasonable price.
Do not use this company. I had a $1200 nearly new washing machine severely damaged by a repair they did. The damage did not make itself apparent for about 3 months so I couldnt prove they damaged it. I called them out and gave them the the opportunity of working with me on the repair or cover part of the expense. The owner refused, saying because it had been three months, he didnt think they owed us anything.
The Repair Shop was contracted by Samsung to repair a range under warranty. They could not diagnose the problem, but indicated they would replace some controls to attempt to resolve the issue. They ordered parts to make a repair which might fix the issue and scheduled a date to replace the parts.They gave an 8 hr window for this repair so I made arrangements to have someone at the location. I then received an email five days before the scheduled date unilaterally rescheduling the service to two days after the initial schedule. Again an 8 hr window. I scheduled someone to be there for this reschedule the Appliance Shop created. On the original date scheduled for the service, the Appliance Shop repair representative called me and said he was almost at the location and wanted to make sure someone was there. I informed him they (the Appliance Shop) had rescheduled to two days later, not at my request or convenience. He then said he would reschedule and come back.Two days later the Appliance Shop representative called and said he was 25 to 30 minutes out so I had someone en route. When they arrived, my representative had not arrived yet so they called me and asked where my representative was and when they would be there. I told them my representative would be drive time within the city limits of Lawrence. The representative sounded angry and said if they were not there in the next few minutes he would leave and I would have to reschedule. I started to tell him (admittedly angry myself) they had rescheduled the appointment and may want to show a little leniency, but I did not get the chance as they hung up on me.I have since contacted Samsung and told them they could either change the warranty provider or come pick up the range.Update: I spoke with the general manager of The Appliance Shop who explained, due to the pandemic, her folks have been under a lot of additional workload. Also, probably more importantly, the original rescheduling was likely done by Samsung, not the Appliance Shop. The manager was not making any excuses and appeared to be concerned about correcting the situation and, I have to admit, I have culpability in the incident due to not having someone there when the tech arrived. I am raising my 1 rating to a 3 and will give the Appliance Shop another shot should I need their assistance assuming they have not rated me as a 1 customer and do not want to work with me :).
I got the part I needed. The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. I appreciated that they allowed me to just buy the part and didnt pressure me to let them install it.
These guys were great bought a new stove and had trouble with the oven door not purchased there and fought for months trying to get it straightened out with the seller was able to get it done here in just a few minutes should have purchased it here cant thank them enough
Completely unprofessional! We had an appointment set up for today. We were told the would send a technician between noon and 5:00 today and that he would call when he was one his way. I called to confirm a more accurate time this afternoon at 1:00. We were told we were the last stop of the day, so it would be closer to 5:00. Great! We can work with that. It is now 5:45. No call, no notification that he would not be showing up. Attempted to call the office, but of course, they are closed. Don’t waste your time with this company. Call somebody else who actually wants your business. It’s very disappointing when we try to support local businesses, yet they don’t actually want the business. I mistakenly thought by supporting local companies that we were doing the right thing to help companies stay afloat during the pandemic. Lesson learned.
We were in need of parts to repair our refrigerator. They not only ordered what we needed promptly but walked us through what we needed to check and replace the part. They were very kind and patient and above and beyond. Would recommend five stars any day!!!

One of only 2 LG repair places in Topeka. Fridge problems. 2 call outs over several weeks due to parts unavailable. Technician and office help good. Dont buy LG-refrigerator, anyway.
Its amazing how they have everything I have ever needed. They even had an old microwave turntable I was unable to find anywhere else and had it way cheaper than I expected. Great people and I recommend starting here first

This is an absolute JOKE of a company. Has had my Wolf Microwave for four months. If I call, they call back saying we were just about to call you.....then sets up a time to come put microwave back in and never shows and never calls. Filed police report for stolen property, they called back and threatened to dump microwave in my front yard. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Ran by complete idiots.
Horrible service...Been waiting on my girlfriends fridgerator to get fix..Covid or not but you shouldnt have to wait over 2 months and still waiting to get it fix....
Weve had timely warranty service on our Frigidaire refrigerator from Appliance Shop in the past, but the last service call i asked the service tech if he knew why our convection fan wasnt turning. He peeked in, said it needed to be replaced. They called with a price quote which was more than we could afford. Shortly after, the fan started working again. They called repeatedly trying to set up a service call to install it. When that didnt work, they called trying to get payment for that service call for the refrigerator that was already covered by warranty. They said since he looked at another appliance, we owed them a full charge service call. Today they refused to service our new refrigerator warranty issue until we pay this bill. The manager is very rude and unprofessional. We will be doing business with Pruitt or Dynamic Appliance from now on.

Very disappointing took them two weeks to show up to tell me what was wrong with the washer then they told me they would order the part and let me know how much it would be the next day didn’t hear back from them for three days finally got a hold of them, Told them just cancel my order. The owner called me and asked me what the problem was I told him he said he would take care of it himself one week later I called and they had canceled my order they didn’t know anything about me talking to the owner so I had to call another company to come fix the washer. Very poor communications with this company. Sad to see a small business run this way don’t know how they stay in business.
Got parts here, very knowledgeable. I have had their repair tech at my home for a seperate issue. Very knowledgeable folks

Good Service - very nice contact person Sherry and repairman Ty. Fixed the leak from our refrigerator and tried to fix the propane conversion on my stove; but it is set where it is and he spoke with man that did the conversion to make sure he had done all he was supposed to for converting it. I really appreciated that.
I have used the Appliance Shop several times through out the years, they are always great to work with. I have also bought parts and fixed my dryer myself through them, they are always knowledgeable and know exactly what needs to be done. We will use them again when we need them!

The manager is extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone and now refuses to send out a repairman for a dryer thats broken down twice in under a year while still under warranty. Theyve made 4 trips to fix one issue and shes decided its our fault its broken down because they cant figure out whats wrong over the phone.

I bought a Summit appliance with an extended warranty. Fridge has broken twice in the past year and a half. The warranty is apparently through another company and Im having nothing but trouble trying to get warranty work done. Its so very frustrating!
