The Home Depot has a great selection of products. Staff are hard to find if you have any questions. Using the app to find products is slow because of the building. Checking out is the biggest issue. Apparently self service check out is the only option and their machines are not the best. Avoid during busy times if you are in a hurry. Or be prepared to wait.

Home Depot has just about anything you need for household repairs, renovations or landscaping. I cannot include everything they offer in one review. It is a great store. Check out their website for a more detailed look at all this store offers.

Went in to purchase a new refrigerator. No employees in sight. I called on my cell phone to try and get some help. The phone then rang by where I was standing. I almost answered it. Finally a employee walked by. I asked if anyone was working. He said he would get someone. 10 min later there was a employee. He apologized and was pleasant. I had the info for the fridge I wanted. It took about 15 min to finish my purchase.

Very nice experience. The man that made key copies and the man that helped me find and choose the right construction screws. Both men were very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.

Were moving back into our Kansas home, and it needs some updating. They were very helpful =)

I spent two hours in the store researching what portable tool storage, drill bits, & roller stand for my table saw to buy. Never once did an associate ask if I needed help so I gave up & went to Lowes where I bought a $75 set of drill bits & a nice roller stand. I decided on the Milwaukee Pac-Out tool storage system which I will buy online & not at Home Depot. It is pretty sad when the associates literally dodge the customers like they are afraid to help them!

Great prices on many different things! Only issue is I really wish they cared MORE about their products they sell. If you show you care about your product and care for them all your customers will be coming back.I enjoy buying plants here for their great prices. They do need to water them more and care for them more than they currently do.DONT DROWN THE SUCCULENTS & SEMI-SUCCULENTS WHEN WATERING.N PLEASE WATER YOUR REGULAR PLANTS AND FLOWERS MORE OFTEN ON THOSE SUPER HOT DRY DAYS.I bought a few plants with Home Depots great prices, bad thing was it took a bit of time to nurse my purchased plants to health due to being very under watered.

They are always nice as customer service but their products sometimes they have nothing I need even if they sell it. Really good place for wood though!

I visited the Home Depot on Saturday and was served by Shawn Wilkinson. I want to take a moment to recognize such good service. Everyone is so anxious to complain I think it is equally or even more important to compliment people. I started to tell Shawn my issue, but before I could even finish he already knew the answer and had handed me a replacement part.Thank you Shawn, I really appreciate it!

I purchased a Bosh 300 dishwasher, I waited over a month to get it and when it did finally come in the install folks said the cord was too short and they couldn’t install it. They told me to refuse delivery and I would get credit credit right away. I called Home Depot the next day and the woman I spoke with, seeing I had in fact refused delivery, told me I would receive credit within 3 working days… it’s been almost two weeks still no credit. The woman I spoke with today told me they can’t credit me until Bosh receives it back and they get their credit! The worst part of this situation is I had purchased a junction box with that dishwasher according to my receipt and there is no reason they couldn’t have installed it when they had been here in the first place! Home Depot is incompetent as well as their install people! I’m still without a dishwasher and can’t get a new one until I receive credit! I will not ever go back to Home Depot.

I been to this place five times and each time I get disappointed with the customer service. I came to get just a few things but ended up in the store for almost an hour just trying to get someone to help you. Menards has really good customer service!. I wont bother coming to Home depot again because I think you have to look a certain way but thats just my opinion. 🤔

I had a flooded storm shelter and needed to rent a submersible pump. Talking with the clerk, he suggested a bigger pump and 2 hose. It had all that water (over 480 sq feet) pumped out in just over an hour. I needed it to be quick as I was staying at a motel that night so I could shower and get a good nights sleep. Great recommendation by the clerk.

Need fitting to install my new hot water tank, but they were hard to find and took awhile to find some to help me locate what I needed.

Made reservations for tool lawn rental a week ago and they took my deposit. Went in on my scheduled date and time and they rented equipment out the night before to some one else.

They always have helpful store assistance to help you find equipment, parts and supplies!

Good products, poor customer service at the customer service center. Other employees were friendly, happy, helpful, and great to work with. Once we had to go to customer service, they knew NOTHING about their own credit card special which they had the sign right in front of them. After an hour my mother from out of town couldnt wait any longer, and they werent willing to get an answer or rectify or match their own written promo, so we left extremely frustrated, suffering in pain, and very unsatisfied (after doing all of the legwork, online searching, calls to others in customer service, and wasting our entire evening in order to purchase an item we shouldnt gotten at a different home improvement store apparently).

If I could give this place a ZERO I would only bc of the employees! They are NOT FRIENDLY or HELPFUL in anyway shape or form. If you ask where something is they send you on a wild goose chase seriously. I have a bad back and can not walk that whole store but yet they want to not even show me where an aisle is but tell me the wrong aisle! The store is always in disarray with all kinds of stuff laying around on the floors everywhere for someone to trip and fall over. New management might be a good idea for this store for sure!!! Its been like this for to many years thats why Topeka calls it the slumlord lumber store!

I ordered sample swatches of countertops I liked online & chose curbside pick-up at the Huntoon store, Topeka, KS. I had never done this before so I was uncertain of how it worked or if it would work successfully. I completed my order which went smoothly (YAY!), then several days later received an order confirmation with shipping date etc. A couple days after that, I received an email that the delivery to the store had changed & to call the store about it. I did & at first had a text chat with a robot then was transferred to a real person Michael to finish up. I liked that he was able to explain what was going on & to confirm it wouldnt be available at the store to pickup till Tuesday. He was very friendly & upbeat. I went there Tuesday to the store, found the orange signs near the front clearly marked curbside pickup & parked. I found my relevant email & filled out a few lines of info. It wasnt 5min later when Alex came out, right to my window to deliver my small package. He was professional, kind & efficient, even in intense heat! I was very pleased with my product, happy with how smoothly the whole process went from start to finish & very impressed with HDs employees customer service skills! I think Ill do this again!

The service in Electrical was horrible. We were behind another customer who waited more than 30 minutes for help, we only waited 15 minutes and neither of us got helped.

One of my favorite stores. This time it was modifying a specialized frame joiner to work with my air powered v-nailer... It Works! The guy in the tool area was very helpful with my questions even though the project was odd. The check out girl was also happy and laughed at my stupid joke. Always a good place to start a creative project.

Purchased a new mower with the help of a friend, but was disappointed that no one came by to offer assistance. I kind of knew what I wanted so I guess we really didnt need the help. But it would have been good customer service if assistance would have been offered!

Customer service checking out was nice christie and helga are always amazing. The rest of the store was a packed freaking mess. You couldnt get a cart down the 2 main isles and the regular department isles were even worse. Stocking should really be done outside of normal business hours.

Disappointing. Went in for a lawn mower. Not one salesperson asked if I needed help. Got ones attention, he nodded and left. It wasnt that crowded, but there was a meeting behind one of the cash registers. After 10mins of standing, I left too. Total time wasted? About 45mins.

No help looked for a kitchen sink and faucets could not find anyone to ask finally someone came after and asked us and they didnt behave it in stock. So we left the store,we were from out of town. Also 3 people were setting at a desk and were talking and did nothing to even answer a question need to do something about that situation.

Customer Service provided by employee Shawn was terrific. He was able to quickly answer our questions. Prior to arriving at store, we called & over the phone they were not helpful and told us to come in. When were arrived others didnt assist or have adequate knowledge or understanding. Shawn stepped in to assist. He was very helpful, showed interest in our project & had his own creative ideas to add to ours which helped us. What we needed to purchase was out-of-stock and 29 days back order is why I gave only four stars.

The store is well stocked but personnel are extremely hard to find for assistance. Im sure some of it is due to COVID but it was difficult before and its become next to impossible now. You can find people at the registers though. There were three at the self-scan checkout when we left. Unless two were in training, I think they should be training them on the floor as to where and what things are and how to get people directed to them. I still recommend this Home Depot for the cleanliness of the store and it being uncluttered. They get their stock out away when it comes in and dont leave it in the aisle for people to stumble over.

Store manager Snook was so helpful today in my shopping for a yard cart. I shop at the Topeka location frequently and have never had such excellent customer service.

Staff mostly ignores you, self checkout is the only checkout available. Cashiers ignore the fact that you have large packages, and watch you struggle without offering assistance. Wont be back unless no one else has my item needed in stock.

My go to place for projects. Ship to store is great! Associates are always helpful. I find myself here at least once a month and have never been disapointed. A+++

Home Depot always has good help, and everything I need. Some of the products I buy dont last very long, or are low quality, like the TCP lighting I spent hundreds on. Apparently they were discontinued due to some manufacturing defects. Ill be back. The strawberries I got here always do well.

The only problem I had was finding the waterfilters. After looking through the plumbing department I happen to stumble down the HVAC aisle and next to all the air filters were the water filters. And they had a good supply

The worst Home Depot Ive ever dealt with!!! Employees dont want to deal with customers, wouldnt return calls, throws blame to everyone else. Has 3rd party who are worthless to do anything. Said they would fix door but 3rd party got paid and never finished the job. Only answers i got was the boss will call you.. i know other family has stopped using you and went to Lowes or Menards.

They didnt have anyone available to help and they didnt end up having it in stock even though the app said they did.

Found what we wanted but sometimes low on stock.

This was a good experience. There several employees that offered to help us. They were out of some of the hardware we needed but they were very helpful.

If you ask people for help they didnt assist you if you ask people to help you carry your stuff out to the car they was not available I was very disappointed in the status of Home Depot

What I needed was in stock and available. Though throughout my visit one employee had a neck gator and did not use it even while talking with a co worker or stocking product.

H.D didnt have the materials that I need to get. Customer Services didnt know what I was talking about and each person was sending me to different sections. Finally, I decided to leave and the cashier was even worse. Decided to go to Menards and find all the items needed to start the project.

I was able to find what I needed but there are never enough employees to cover all departments. Nothing like having to lift a 5 gal bucket of roofing sealer by yourself when you are in my physical condition. I also think they overpriced compared with their neighbor competitors.

Not my favorite home store but they did have what a friend needed for her deck at a reasonable price. All and all was a good trip to a home store.

Bought a 325 gal fresh water tank 2 days ago. Needed a Gate Valve for same tank... NO ONE knew what we were talking about and NO ONE could help us. We spent hours trying to piece one together. Ended up just leaving...

Just wondering where all the workers are everytime Im here....be prepared to walk around looking for help. Some days are worst then others.

Dont use curb side pickup unless you go inside to tell them you are there. Their system that they use doesnt tell them you are there.

They garden staff outside get the 5 stars inside staff would have negative stars if that was possible. Employee Cooper should be written up. I stood patiently in front of him while he helped someone on the phone and when he finished his call and walked away as I said please sir can you help me. The young man at the entrance sent me to the wrong place both visits this week. Garden staff were helpful and friendly!
