This place is great! Kelly, who I believe is the manager, always fixes my tires up for me. There is a leak and I have to get them aired up quite often and he is always on top of it. He cleans my windows every time and truly does take care of his customers. I would definitely recommend this place for any repairs you may need or if youre just needing your gas pumped/tires aired up.

My female friend went here after already sending thousands of dollars fixing her car there already, they tried to tell her it was another thousand dollar repair. She got a second opinion and all she needed was her tires balanced. We both think they were taking advantage of her lack of knowledge with cars. I nor she will ever get our cars looked at there.

We asked for a diagnostic check and also made it clear that the issue of not being able to start my vehicle was most likely from the chip in my key however, the diagnostic we didnt recieve and was charged $195 for the guy doing nothing basically but a day later telling us its the chip in the key. Horrible service and communication I will never resort to taking my vehicle back or using any of Washburn Auto services.

Washburn Auto sabotaged my vehicle. I took it in a few months back for an oil change. Just this week I found one of the bolts that secures the alternator loose sitting under the hood by itself. The bolt was in two pieces and the bottom part was still in its appropriate place. My father has been working on cars his whole life and told me there is no way those bolts could come loose let alone break in half. I am told there are three bolts that secure that piece. Two on top you can get to easily and one underneath that is difficult to reach. The two bolts that were easy to reach were loose and the one underneath was tight like it should be. That was the only place I have taken my car to get work done on in the last few years and I lock my vehicle every time I leave it. My father usually does all of my work. I have a 1997 Cavalier. I dont suggest waiting for hours on an oil change here.

I have used Washburn Auto Services for approximately 2 years now. Typically the service was pretty good until recently. My vehicle, 2006 GMC Envoy had displayed a check engine light and an engine light with a down arrow. This was alarming to me due to my vehicle losing acceleration power.So, I did what any reasonable car owner who and took it in to have it reviewed as we as have an oil change. When it came time to pick up my vehicle I was met with some rather unfortunate news. I found out that they could not figure out why my vehicle was disputing the engine with the down arrow, but they did change my oil of course.I spoke to the mechanic and was advise to take the vehicle to Ed Bozarths to update my computer within the GMC Envoy.Long story made short, I took their advice, went to Ed Bozarths and had the update given. My vehicle still displayed the icon and I decided to see for myself what was going on. I took my vehicle to OREILLYs and was given a diagnostic tool. The tool read the issue as P060E and P0171 these codes mean my vehicle wasnt efficiently functioning on gas. I had several auto-mechanics advise me that those two codes dont just suddenly appear on ones vehicle, they have to be manually downloaded into the software of the vehicle.I understood that Washburn Auto service not only CHARGED me for a diagnostic, but did not professionally handle the matter because I was able to get rid of those programs myself and now I no longer fear for my safety while driving BECAUSE MY CAR IS NOW FIXED. I will never go back to that shop again. I literally blew 95.00 dollars to update my car at Ed Bozarths, and for what?A scam? Maybe. Dishonesty? Possible.Unprofessionalism? Absolutely.

As a young, nervous college girl who knows absolutely zero about cars, they made me feel very comfortable and safe while they helped me out in a pinch! These guys seem really genuine and nice and I will definitely be going to them if I ever have any more car trouble here in Topeka. Thanks you guys!!

Brought my car for a headlight replacement. Was given an after-tax quote of $64. Ended up paying $202 to replace one headlight. The headlight was more expensive than initially thought and the labor -due to an unexpected complexity - ended up being $93. When I had been informed about the need of a different, more expensive lightbulb when the old one was taken out, I didn’t have the option to opt out and go somewhere else without being charged $64 as this shop claimed they have already spent labor on taking out my old lightbulb.

This place is trash. I brought my car in because it was leaking oil, coolant, and misfiring. Total of $1200 worth of work. Luckily my dealership helped with the costs. Had it for 2 days. Said it was fixed. Went to pick it up and was running worse than before, making a really rough sound. Not to mention the misfire is still there. Told them to take it back and fix it. Had it for another SIX DAYS. Called them to ask for an update and was told that my car had been ready the whole 6 days and that they had been trying to contact me. That was a lie. Car is still misfiring. Saying they can’t detect a misfire, while I’m currently sitting in my car watching the rpms bounce and feeling the car shake with it. They cracked my dash. And there is also now creaking noises coming from my engine when I accelerate off the gas. Would not ever recommend going here.
