As soon as we walked in everyone was very welcoming. Roger was our sales representative and he did a great job! We told him what we wanted and he got on it right away. There was no beating around the bushes. He made the purchase very smooth and and pleasant. And when we work with the finance manager she was also charming, pleasant and professional. She talked to us like we’ve known each other for years! She made us feel at ease and comforting. She made sure we cross our T’s and dot our I’s before we leave. We love our new Range Rover and had such a great experience buying it. Nathan attended to all of our concerns, needs, and questions with total confidence and an endless knowledge about the cars. I just spoke with a representative in the service department, asked her some questions regarding a simple diagnostic and multi-point inspection. Her attitude was very pert and non helpful, kinda like I was wasting her time. I asked when I would be able to bring my car in, and guess what, she said they were booked over a month and a half! In other words, they didnt need or want my business....

Great service on the part of the rental company also, I had a very short wait. My car was ready and washed on time and Melanie covered the summary of the service with me. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

I have been searching for a privacy cover for my Land Rover since last month. I tried Oxnard, Los Angeles, Newport Beach with all of them wanting me to come in FIRST for a service appointment THEN they will order the part. How frustrating. Who wants to drive from L A to any of these cities on a Friday. Called Pasadena and they were the most helpful, letting me know that South Bay has it in stock. Called South Bay, they checked and even put my name on the box. Went in to be greeted by great staff and the General Manager and I was called and treated as a VIP. I even got a LR mug, blinged out, from the Manager. I have found my new Car Home. Thank you Jaguar South Bay.

I just purchased my fifth (yes, FIFTH!) Rover from Land Rover South Bay. There is another LR dealership (much) closer to me than LR South Bay, but I still drive the extra 30 minutes to the South Bay. From the service department to the sales department I have always had positive experiences. TC is the *best*. If you are in the market for a Land Rover or a Range Rover, hes your guy.

My visit to Land Rover South Bay was positive. The check engine light of my Range Rover Sport had been on for a few days. I was able to get an appointment quickly, and when I arrived my car was immediately taken to the work area to begin the diagnosis and repair. I waited in the comfortable customer lounge and watched TV and rested. The repair was completed in a reasonable amount of time. It was covered by the manufacturers warranty, so there was no charge to me. I was given a thorough explanation of the problem and a detailed invoice. Everyone that I dealt with was very courteous. I would recommend Land Rover of South Bay.

I bought my first Jaguar here last month. Great deal on the car from this place. It took some doing to get the price I wanted. My only complaint is that they haggle with you so much that you get worn out and want to give up.I was able to get the color and options I wanted without much hassle...in fact, they were the only dealer I could find with the selection. Overall I will be back but I will have my coffee ready. I would recommend Jaguar of south bay if your are looking to buy a car.

I was able to test drive and receive excellent customer service from Roger who walked me through all the different Discovery Sport models and even showed me the one I was interested in online for a better look on a Saturday afternoon. We kept in touch and were able to reach an awesome deal on a lease with the help of the manager Bill remotely before agreeing to come into the Land Rover dealership to finalize the paperwork during a weekday. Everything went smoothly as Roger quickly had all the things set up and ready to go and David kindly chatted with us and walked us through all the final signings such that we were able to get in and get out in less then two hours! It was a pleasant and great first experience with Land Rover from start to finish thanks to Roger, Bill, and David.

I was vacationing with my family and driving my 2020 Velar through Southern California and had a tire blow out on the freeway after running over a roadway hazard. The team at Land Rover South Bay took my vehicle in without an appointment despite being booked solid and replaced the tire and got my family back on the road again. I had to take my RR Sport in for a check engine light issue and Nate, my service advisor was very helpful. I was able to get my car the following day, however on my drive back home, the check engine light came on again. I called the service department and they connected me to Raffi, the Service Director who was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to take care of the issue immediately. Lets be honest: this is not our first time working with Land Rover South Bay. I dont know if its the partnership with Jaguar or the fact that they moved from their former Redondo Beach location but the experience was like night and day and I have only excellent feedback to communicate. We initiated our interest in one of their certified pre-owned vehicles online and I called in to see if one of the former salesmen whom we didnt love but what are you going to do when your options were minimal? Well, I can say that I was happy that he wasnt there and that I got the opportunity to work with Roger. Not only was he attentive to all of my questions and concerns, I never felt pressured or obligated, to the vehicle or to work with him. I intend to work with him on all of our future RR purchases and I recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for a low-pressure, informed, genuine feedback experience with incredible communication. Roger took at least 20 detailed photos of the car taking into consideration the general concerns I had about used cars. As we had been living out of town for the school year, traveling down to the Southbay with our kids would have to be purposeful and worth the drive, and Roger was very sensitive to this making every effort to provide us with all of the necessary information that, alas, reassured me and moved the process forward to the finish line. I admit, I did not trust that the car would be in the beautiful condition that it was and I was almost preparing to walk away after seeing it - not trusting that this great experience up until this point could possibly be authentic. But as Roger had confirmed in his photos and with his personal feedback of any perceived flaws that I had thought I had observed as well as offering assistance with any financing we might be interested in, I was so pleasantly surprised to find that the car was practically perfect! I honestly feel that if it were not for Rogers concierge service, we would have missed out on this purchase. The finance experience, as well, was excellent and felt largely genuine, and the rate was, frankly, unbeatable. My hope is that the experience that we had in sales and finance will carry over into the service and repairs department ~ remains to be seen. Ill update my review when we have our first few check ins because, truly, it was these past experiences with Range Rover South Bay that deterred us from working directly with them through the life of the last two of our Land Rover and Ranger Rover vehicles. Honesty and ethics in the car industry goes a long way. If Range Rover South Bay wants to maintain us as customers for our repair/service needs then they will have to prove that they arent there to create problems or imply that there are issues that really arent there. So far, they are off to a great (re) start!

Good service. My service rep Nate was courteous and professional. The only thing was that I had to call to check on my car and the car needed to stay at the dealership for two extra days. The technician changing the piece on the roof’s body messed something up, which is why it was kept for two extra days. But I did end up getting a discount on the labor fees with a coupon, which wasn’t so bad. Overall pretty good service.

I must say! This was not the quality of service I was expecting purchasing my 1st Range Rover. 1st off, my salesman Alex seemed very sweet in the beginning, he was nice and engaging once I arrived, however he went back and forth to ask a lot of questions to other salesman and seemed a little ill prepared to be on the sales floor. Clearly he was new. I then explained to him that I had been pre approved by my credit union and would just need a purchase order to present to them to complete the sale. I specifically ask them to NOT run my credit, as I had already been approved and that’s the financing I am choosing (No questions) . About 15 mins later, I get a message on my phone from experian stating Jaguar/Land Rover just place an inquiry on your credit report. Needless to say, I was very upset. I address it, but was still polite, got the purchase order and forwarded the information to my credit union. Upon picking up the car the next day, I notice it has no gas and needs a bit of detailing inside. I mentioned it to Alex and he took care of that. He took my inside to finish up paperwork with the finance manager David (not a nice person at all), asked me for the check and took it into the finance office. I waited about 20mins in the lobby alone until I got impatient and walked outside to look at the car again. Another sales man then ask me to come back inside as David should be ready in 2 mins. Now In my mind, I have 2 issues 1. Why would David not be ready if I had an appointment and 2. Why would he take my payments ahead of time if not ready to assist me. Never the less, to make a long story short, I finally got into the office, did paperwork, got an extended warranty, left not knowing anything about the car, had to come back on the weekend to get an in service on how it works, called Alex a couple days ago because car says it needs service (after 3 weeks), he assured me it was wrong and then had service department schedule me an apt for 11/2021. I would definitely not recommend this dealership to anyone, I left feeling very undervalued, uninformed about my vehicle, and also now skeptical about its condition. Very bad experience overall from start to finish. Go where you are treated equal and your money is appreciated PLEASE!!!!

Visited Land Rover for the10K service on my Discovery. The deck lid needed to be re-aligned, and the wheels rotated. In at 9am, out by 1pm. The price was comparable to other high end dealers. My service advisor Evan, was very easy to work with. However, the service area on the side of the building was congested, unorganized and just looked out-of-place. I guess for Jaguar - Land Rover i just expected more elegant. But bottom line is always price, time line, and the job done right. My deck lid is working better than ever. Good place for service. Bud....

I’m not too sure what to make of my last service. Ok the car was delivered on time etc, but there was no brake prognosis or other items on the vehicle which are showing signs of wear and tear just a wham-bam thank you. I usually bring my vehicle into the dealer for an inspection but I’m concerned about what is happening to this land rover facility. Since its move from Redondo beach to Torrance I feel it’s lost it’s shape both in management and overall vehicle engineering capacity — maybe it’s just Covid I don’t know. Let’s hope that things get better on both sides.

I leased my 2021 Land Rover from here.I did get the price that I ultimately wanted but it took two weekends of haggling to get their. When I finally agreed on the price, I came into the dealership to sign all the paperwork, however I had to wait 3 hours before going into finance, so it was a tiring day just waiting around to be finished.Unfortunately, issues quickly began to happen with the car within days of having it. First, the InControl setup did not work which has led to several calls to LandRover USA after not receiving help from the sale person. After having the car only four days, the speaker on the dash started cracking while listening to music and during calls. It was so bad that I had to turn off the Infotainment System. That then led to a couple conversations with Jaguar South Bay. I was already very upset at this point with the issue, talking to them raised my frustrations as I didn’t appreciate several of their responses.The fifth day, while driving the car on the freeway, it lost power briefly, luckily it didn’t cause an accident, but it seemed like the engine died or a possible electrical issue. This happened again about 30 minutes later on a city street. While at a stop light, after the light turned green, I went to accelerate and nothing happened, no power to start going and I couldn’t drive. Cars behind were honking, so I quickly shut off the car completely, turned it back on and it regained power. At this point, there’s clearly an issue with the car as well as a safety concern now.Five days after having the car, it’s now in for service at a different LR dealership. Completely ridiculous that I can’t drive my brand new car. It’s been a VERY disappointing experience so far that I hope gets resolved. Yes, I got the price I negotiated for, but the frustrations and the scary situations of loosing power have definitely NOT been worth it.

I wish I could give them zero stars!!! Completely unprofessional and zero integrity!!! Had my vehicle for nearly a month while Melanie Plancich continued to tell me that the Enterprise rental car that they supplied me with would totally be covered by them and for me not to worry even when enterprise called me twice saying the rental period was expiring I called Melanie Plancich and she on multiple occasions assured me that Land Rover was covering the full cost of the rental and that they should not be calling me but not to worry she would call them and handle it and for me not to worry. As I had called Land Rover South Bay 1 month prior in September of 2020 to bringing my car in for service to secure a loaner vehicle from Land Rover South Bay to which Melanie assured me they would have one available only to arrive (in October of 2020) and have to be shuttled down the street to Enterprise to get a rental car and Melanie Plancich at that time assured me not to worry Land Rover will cover the full cost of the rental one month later after paying nearly 2 grand for repairs I get my car back and return the loaner in November of 2020. The next thing I know March of 2021 I have a charge on my AMEX for $656.19 from Enterprise to which at first I thought was just a fraudulent charge as I assumed someone mustve stolen my credit card information... So I call and reported it to Amex to cancel then called Enterprise only to discover that Land Rover South Bay had refused to pay the cost of the rental as they had time and time again promised and is trying to leave me stuck with the bill. The representative from Enterprise said that they would continue to reach out to Land Rover South Bay and that I should do the same. So I began to call them and to leave messages for Melanie Plancich, for Jason Northcroft (Service department manager) and for the GM looking to find some sort of resolution. Its now May 23rd of 2021 and no one has still yet to return my call. I attempted again a few different days over the past few weeks and I cant even get any of them on the phone. I recently received a paper bill from Enterprise stating that I still owe them $656.19 indicating that the bill was never taking care of. The sad part is that Ive been a loyal customer of theirs for the better part of a decade traveling to them from Chino Hills passing multiple other Land Rover dealerships since when Tony Smith was the service manager before he retired and Juan Reyes after him, when customer service was truly #1! Now Im not sure what their business model is. In conclusion, Im sad to say this but I must... I would warn all to avoid doing business here at all cost.

I bought my car here. Horrible experience. I brought my car here for service within a year, similar experience. I just got my car back from service again, and more of the same. In all honesty, everyone that ive dealt with here is just there to do bare minimum work and thats it. They apologize (disingenuously) and just make sure you know its not their fault. David the finance manager is the only person who has been reliable. From sales manager Danniel to service reps, it has been a complete let down. This is probably the 2nd review I have ever done in my life. This is not to bash anyone, but seriously just want people to know what to expect when coming to this dealership. Very disappointed.

The worst service, I booked an appt for a loaner because my car had work that needed to be done. I was given an appt over a month out. Was told someone would call me before my appt to confirm loaner, no one called, when I called to confirm before my appt, I was told no loaners were available. I was rescheduled for another month out and told the same thing, no one called again, so I called to confirm a loaner was available, I was told a loaner wasn’t available for another 2-3 weeks out. I mean, what!?!? When I asked to speak to a manager, miraculously they have a loaner. The service and communication here is horrible. Finally took my car in for service, it was there 3 days. I was notified that it was ready, I called the representative to tell him I would be there. When I got there, they pulled up my car and it was dirty, the rep apologized and said they normally wash the cars, but that I could wait 30 min for a car wash. Again, what!?!? I called ahead. I will never go back to this dealer, not for shopping(my shopping experience was not great here either) or service. Save the money and get your service somewhere else.

I was rather disappointed with my experience. I went in to get a recall update. It ended up being software that needed updating. The update didnt take and after driving home I had to take the car back because my Navigation system didnt work anymore. It read I was in Africa. Understandably, sometimes there are glitches in the system. I took it back and noticed my Auto on/off feature was no longer working. I informed the service manager and he stated since they did a system update it should restore normal after being driven for a while. They tried to reload the software but it did not take again. I ended up having to leave my car there for the weekend. I called to check the status on Monday and they said it was good to go. I picked it up and the navigation system worked again and as stated before, They said I just needed to drive a few miles before the auto on/off feature worked again. I drove to Long Beach after leaving the dealership and still notice the feature wasnt working. On the drive back the check engine like came on. I called the service department and was told my advisor was busy with another Customer so I informed them what happened and was told my advisor would get back to me. Its been over 24 hours and still have not received a call. Im trying to be understanding, maybe my advisor is off today. But simply, my Vehicles check engine light came on after leaving there for a software update. It could be something small, but getting no response when something as critical as a CEL comes on after a shop has touched your car is concerning and my auto stop/start feature still isn’t working. in my opinion, bad costumer service.

Id like to give it more stars, but I feel that my time is way too valuable to let it slide.To explain the short version. They lack in follow through and if you dont want to buy what they have in stock, then you may as well stop looking there. They may act as if they are doing their best to find and fulfill your wants of a vehicle, but the moment you leave they will act as if you never existed. Id rather go somewhere that treats me and my purchase as someone that matters. I never heard from them again until almost two weeks later when I finally reached out in disappointment and told them Id be writing a review. My experience today at Jaguar South Bay was very satisfying, they immediately attended to me and my car as soon as I pulled into the service driveway area. The service manager personally met with me and started the process moving by assigning a service advisor to discuss the service options with me. They did a great job servicing my vehicle cleared the amber engine light on console screen and recommended other services to keep my vehicle running at top performance. The service advisor did a good job as well, he discuss with me the multi point inspection, wheel alignment, brake fluid exchange, and oil change on my next service and maintenance schedule appointment. Thank you to all at Jaguar and Land Rover of South Bay.

I scheduled a service only to address the 5 recalls on a brand new Range Rover sport.I requested to have a loaner car and they promised to have one ready for me and promised that it would be a smooth process since I had a meeting to get to.40 minutes after arriving at the dealer, the cooks not locate the key to the loaner they supposedly has ready for me. I was visibly irritated and the the service personal was defensive and rude instead of making an effort to make the situation better.She asked if needed the car washed as well to which I replied: “yes, please.”After a visible half eye roll, she walked away and minutes later returned with the loaner vehicle.The car was supposed to be ready an noon. I arrived at 4:30 pm and was ignored for 10 minutes before anyone even made an attempt to assist me.My car was visible to me, yet she took 42 minutes exactly to bring the car to the front. 42 minutes while my son and I stood outside.“Sorry Mrs Maher, we also didn’t have time to wash your call”.Of course you didn’t, I wanted to respond. I was not surprised at all given the poor service I had received.My experience at this dealer was absolutely awful. The fact that the staff was aware that I wasn’t being assisted yet they were all sitting on their behinds laughing and talking amongst themselves completely oblivious is beyond me.They couldn’t even wash the car because they didn’t have time! Ridiculous

Evan Sheehan has always worked to make my experience when going to the dealer easy. He is respectful of my time and makes sure my car is well maintained. I had bad experiences with 2 bmws I owned where the dealer would keep me waiting an hour plus just to pick up my car from service, thinking wifi and coffee were something I would enjoy in that hour wait. Busy people do not want to wait an hour to pick up their car. Thank u Evan for your continuous service. I appreciate it.

The end of July I brought my car in for breaks and a tune up (service) though Evan is really nice but he doesn’t deliver the promise or closes the loop with communication. If it wasn’t for me complaining I would’ve never got a loaner car or update about my car which in the end I was taken care of and grateful. Unfortunately I’m back 3 months later due to a check engine light being on I can’t blame anyone for this but I just find it weird I get my car serviced w no mechanical problems and now my gear box is faulting so I bring my car back just to receive the same treatment no loaner cars available. Which is understandable, I get my car back and pay for a battery and then it’s test driven and it shuts off on me for the same exact reason I brought it in not even 12 hours later, my car is back there and still no loaner vehicle and I have to call instead of being called to find out what’s going on. I just feel as a single mom and paying customer that the quality of service promoted does not match the standards they promote. No one puts theirselves in the shoes of the vehicle owner and how it would feel if it was them in the situation how would they like to be treated and this is where and why I give one star. I’m not trying to out anyone down or bad mouth anyone but I admit this 2nd visit Evan def called me back and even left messages when he couldn’t reach me. Great guy just very busy w too many files I guess so it’s hard for him to keep up with everyone hopefully the loop is closed because now I’m being told that I need a new transmission which is sad because I’ve only had the car for 7 months and again perfectly fine and now this. I’m not blaming anyone for my misfortune just stating my experience while going through this. Or maybe it can be the mechanics they have not sure but just needs better communication, more loaner vehicles, and more help in the office area for overloaded cases.

The ordering and pricing of the vehicle was very nice... pleasant people and we got the vehicle we wanted. But the pickup/financing of the vehicle was the worst and longest experience we have ever had. I am 77; I have bought a lot of cars. But the actual purchase documentation and requirements kept changing and was bizarre. And this was a cash transaction!!!!

Really pleasant, efficient and professional experience with Land Rover South Bay and Service Advisor Evan Sheehan last week. Beautiful dealership with two customer lounge/waiting areas and complimentary coffee, tea and other drinks. I had my seven year old daughter with me and a conscientious team member took notice and brought her a nice children’s book called ‘Landy’ to help keep her occupied during our visit. My service issue was resolved to my satisfaction and within the timeframe I was initially quoted, and despite having leased my vehicle from a different dealer, will happily return to Land Rover South Bay for all of my family’s future needs with our Discovery. Thanks to Evan and the team for a wonderful experience!

I had to call for updates on my car. Nobody walked me thru what was done on my car when I got it back from the service. They did not give any loaner car and told me they did not do it anymore while I saw another customer get one.

The service lady was very nice and helpful, however paying over $600 she didn’t check completely if my car was completed because when I came to pick up my LR waiting 20min just for my car to be drive out of parking, I found out that the car wash was missing!!!Anyway I alway had some issues with this dealership

Have been the Range Rover owner of multiple RR vehicles for decades. Range Rovers services in South Bay have been a weak point (or say breaking point) in Land Rover chain. For example, I never had a RR guy to greet me when I parked my car in front of the service department, I have to try very hard to look around for the person who is designated to take care of my cares service. One more thing, it seems that most of the people in the South Bay service location have attitude. I still dont know why. (They are not paid enough?). For my recent experience, I was told I would be advised as soon as my car is done with the service. Unfortunately, no one even bothered to call me. I had to call myself next day to see when I can pick up my car, and I was told your are is ready to pick up. What the shame! I own several different cars from different made, it looks like Range Rovers service is nearly at the bottom. RR is the care I like. But after Ive owned RR for decades with such poor services, I am seriously thing of different makes next. LOL.

Mr Reyes is very professional. He makes me feel welcome. Takes care of business and promptly returns all my cars. Actually the entire service staff is so helpful. The waiting area is very comfortable and their is complimentary snacks, water and coffee.
