Although this is the first time I own my car, I didn’t feel any anxious thanks to their support. They suggested reasonable options for me and explained the details well. Also, pick-up service from home was very helpful for me.

I came here to sell my super old car and I got a pretty good price for it. They are Japanese but also understand English. Tomoyo was very polite and professional and made me feel comfortable. Everyone there is super friendly. I was there for about an hour to do the paperwork and everything and they wire transferred the money to my bank account the next day. (They can also write you a check if you prefer). I will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to sell their cars!

This place is very unique. Gulliver is no longer offering the consignment service, which they used to be famous for, but they are now only focused on the Quality of the car. They dont go to auto auction to acquire their inventory but buy a car from the private party and retailing at that location.

Walked around the lot for 20 minutes. No one greeted me or offered to help me. I had a car I was interested in, so I walked to the office and asked for more information. Six people were in the office and no one could take the time to help me. Instead, they asked me if I would wait. There were no other customers there. Obviously customer service and car sales is not a priority for this location.

We had to sell our car because of our move abroad. We heard about Gulliver from a friend. We worked with Tomohiro “Terry” Ito who so helpful in getting the price we wanted for our car.

Gulliver is relocated from Santa Monica to Torrance on 12/3/2015. They were used to be located on the 20433 Hawthorne Blvd but they have moved to 20125 Hawthorne Blvd this time, which is very close to that. They are no longer consigning the vehicle as they used to be consignment dealer at the former Torrance location but now providing well car buying and selling experiences.

Very nice experience. Went through KBB together and then they presented me a very fair offer. We agreed on a price shortly thereafter with absolutely no sales pressure at all. The biggest car dealer in Japan. Most of cars are used by Japanese, which in general most of second hand cars they deal are in mint condition. Price is same or even lower than competitors. Got 2009 mini cooper 40k miles with mint consition 99.8k.

I bought a Honda Odyssey last week from Otsuka-san who was very professional. and then, I was very thankful they brought it to Irvine at night even if busy season. Since as much as faster I wanted to get it. Gullivers staff was very professional. For Japanese expatriates, it is very difficult to understand and confirm the complicated procedures in English. Because Its very attractive to be able to listen to Japanese explanation and to receive fine services as the same as Japan. Moreover, it is not bad even in terms of price, compared with Carmax etc. Specially used car in USA is not good sometimes, but There are so many cars Japanese expatriate used. It is not bad. 5 years ago, I bought 2 cars which are FX35 of Infinity and Highlander of Toyota in Los Angeles. It was nice too. In Japan, I sold Freed of Honda. I really trust them so much. Now I am considering one more car which would be European, maybe German car. Manager Otsuka-san have very good knowledge about this. It is also very good for me.
