Hertz saved my sanity today. I think Sondra Lane got out of bed this morning and looked in the mirror and told herself... Today I am going to make Nicole Happy. Because that is exactly what she and every other person in that sales office did. I stormed in there breathing fire and vomiting obscenities about another dealer down the street who did mean and evil things when my friend and veteran sister in combat were there. Sondra calmly handed us bottles water to cool the flames and assured us that she would achieve our goals stress free. I wish I had taken names of all the other people who were in the office who couldnt help but laugh at me..... Because they were all awesome too and I promised them all 5 stars also! We were there for what may have been eternity and they all so kindly offered to get us delivery and entertained my ideas of sending my car through their car wash. In the end, my dear friend got a gently used Nissan Rouge for next to pennies and I cant wait to go give those guys down at that other place a bad review.

Lower prices than many dealers around

I’ve been there to buy a Ford Fusion hybrid, everything was smooth and worked out but I had an issue with the interest rate.They also run my credit for 6 times without me knowing, because they wanted me to get the lowest interest rate, but they didn’t tell me it’s gonna be 6 times 😏, which affected my credit aggressively, everybody was nice, but .. watch out your credit before they act.Other than that I recommend this place.

On the website said that they would bring you a car to test drive to you as long as you were within 75 miles. I live within the 75 miles and basically for 4 days in a row I would call they would say “We can do that we just need to find someone who can drive to you.” And then I wouldn’t hear anything all day. I would call again the next day and get the same response with an apology and a promise to get someone on it today. Called again today and they told me that they had sold the car I was interested in. Not that big of a deal and they did tell me that they were short staffed but don’t promise things to people over multiple days if your company can’t deliver on it.

Good deals on cars, salespeople could put more effort into showing and giving details on vehicles. They have some good choices on vehicles, at great prices. Just make sure you check cars for damage, collision history.

I would never write a review until he told me to buy a bicycle. The Monthly payment was $30 extra than my budget. I said I can’t afford it, I am sorry. I wanted to visit more dealership. There was a racist guy who said if you can’t pay $30 a month for 60 month, just buy a bicycle. He was rude. I told him if I don’t like your deal, you can’t force me to buy one. He said just buy a bicycle than. I wish I could put his name. Hertz need to take care people like this.

Really wanted a 4WD 4Runner but spent months looking and they were all 30k or more for 2016 or newer with higher miles. They may have had more luxury packages but I didn’t need that. I went in thinking I was going to get a RAV4 or Honda Civic but they had a 2018 4WD 4Runner with 41k miles for 25k. Buying it was not the painful experience like when I purchased new cars from a dealer. It was so easy. They even drove the car to my mechanic to check it out. I was approved immediately and got my 4R the next day. I love that vehicle! Highly recommend them.

Hertz car sale in Torrance Rene. the only 2 friendly salesmen are Able and Brandon these 2 salesman you should ask for them.If I can give Rene zero star I would. Rene salesman in Torrance is rude 2 faces salesman.When a buyer goes to check out a vehicle that doesnt mean they wanted to close the deal. You should not have a pressure buyer. You should have not said you made me go out in the rain seriously Rene how are you going to make any sale with that attitude. He told me that I have seen the vehicle online photos, yeah I know online doesnt show lots of scratches all around the Sienna. Since I was in the neighborhood why not stop by just to see it in person. Rene says to me you saw the vehicle online why still stopping by. The second time I went in the lies he did not say such things 2 faces lying seriously Rene you should of taking care of the buyer not chasing them away. He greets me welcome back with the fake greets.

Same rude person telling me to purchase a bicycle. I wanted a certain vehicle & its not in stock. He denied me his business card when I didnt agree in the vehicles available.

Disgusting! Sold the car to their kind while I was there waiting for them to put in the gas. The manager had an attitude. Very unprofessional, unorganized and the list goes on. BEWARE!!! This hertz will hurt you.

Do not buy here the salespeople do not explain anything. I bought a warranty for a year and I specifically told the salesman I was buying a car to do uber. The salesman did not explain that I needed a different warranty coverage. I felt rushed and it seemed like he just wanted me to sign away. A good salesman would at least know the difference between warranties. Within that year my transmission went out and I was stuck paying for it on my own since the warranty didn’t cover it. Just bad customer service overall.

Had the car ready that I wanted to test when I arrived, Drove it, took care of all the paperwork and the deal was done. Purchased 2 vehicles from this location after terrible experiences at the Anaheim location and got the same vehicle with a better deal that was being offered in Anaheim. Was in and out within an hour both times and each time with a different sales guy and different finance manager. We dealt with Abel from Hertz Car sales Torrance and he was great! 5 out of 5. You cant beat the price for any of these cars on the Used market. Mechanically these cars are in fantastic condition. The cars all previously lived their lives as rental cars so expect some cosmetic wear and tear.

Although I did not end up purchasing a car here (they didnt have the hatchback model I wanted ) the sales person Conrad that helped me was super helpful and didnt make me feel pressured into buying anything. They have a no haggle price policy but thats because their prices are already pretty dang low and they also have a warranty that comes with all their cars. If youre in the market for a used car, definitely check them out.

I wired money for a car which I told was available and showed the receipt for my transfer but they decided to sell the car like a holes to another person knowing I sent them the money then it took them 2+ weeks to return my money so I couldn’t even buy another car. Don’t waste your time with these clueless trashy places.

Very fast. Did not have to wait at all. Only item was a paper license plate was left on the ground as trash.

The buying process itself wasn’t a big deal, mostly because I don’t even attempt to haggle prices I just wanted to get a car and get it over with and I paid in cash so a dealership would have to be going out of their way to be difficult for my buying process to be a pain. The dealership also doesn’t offer any kind of post-purchase services which was weird to me but I got past it cause I just wanted to get a car and get it over with. The issues mostly came after I bought the car which was barely a few weeks ago. 2 days after I bought it, the battery died. Which like sure batteries get used up on used cars but my god it was TWO days. I had to call out of work to fix an issue they caused and get a new battery. Yes I didn’t pay for it obviously they did but just to get them to pay for it I had to drive to the specific shop they work with which is an hour away so I couldn’t make it into work that day.Another, and my main issue right now, is that on the day I bought the car I was told that they were still looking for the spare key but that they’re sure they will find it and will contact me within a couple of days to get it. I naively believed that and said okay. Now it’s been a few weeks. I had to hunt them down to even get any updates and their update is that “they don’t have one”. What the hell?? I know for a fact that affects the value of a car, meaning I was blatantly scammed and lied to when I was told they were going to contact me and send it to me and that I had nothing to worry about. What’s worse, I park in an apartment building garage where the space is limited therefore one car has to box in the other for things to actually fit. My roommate and I carry each other’s spare keys so in case either of us has to leave the the other person’s car is blocking the way, we can easily and quickly move it so we don’t have to worry about being unable to get to work or anything like that. Due to the dealership’s inability to provide me with something SO basic, we have now both been late to work. It’s ridiculous that they’re unable to be honest and provide me with something that they claimed they would within a few days and now we have to pay the price. And the lack of care or any form of remorse or apology or attempt to rectify the situation on their end makes this so so much worse. And it’s keyless start so I don’t even have the option to just copy the key. This is also about how they strung me along while lying and refusing to provide me with any updates, then acted like this was my problem and they didn’t even attempt to fix the situation or placate me with anything at all. It’s terrible customer service and if you’re planning on financing or doing anything with the dealership that actually requires you going back to them I’d recommend you try another place because they have no concern for you at all. Also they are very clearly not above very blatantly and openly lying to your face.

My wife bought 2015 Toyota Sienna. The registration process took 6 month to be completed. We had to visit this place 3 times... They are not professional at all and we did not feel comfortable dealing with them.

Hertz in Torrance are the BEST!!! in my Book... did all my paper work online had me approved, 3 things to bring with me the next day to pick up my car in a Hr I was out with my car washed and cleaned!!! RENE.. YOUR THE BEST!

For example, I ask if they have a certain car in black, then I get a 5 min lecture on why I should never buy a black car.The sales people treated me as Hour I was an inconvenience at every turn.Want to test drive a car? Hear all about how difficult it is to find.Find a car online and know youre ready to buy it tomorrow at noon? Get a call back asking you to come at a time that better suits the sales person.Negotiate terms before signing? Expect to have the salesperson raise their voice at you with pure rage in their eyes. (For the record they started at 6% apr and came down to 3 after I walked out, so push them on that).I bought the car in the end, the prices arent bad. The real cost is dealing with the folks who work there. When we finally signed the paperwork there was no handshake, no congratulations, no carwash, just some random dude to hand me keys and walk away.5 min after leaving the woman who sold me the car called in a very demeaning tone to tell me all about how stupid I am for not getting the registration. I went back in to pick up what ever she forgot to give me and theres a bunch of salesmen pointing and laughing in a hostile way when I go back in.She barks off a few more sarcastic rude comments youre welcome such a great buying experience.Before I go I ask is that it or am I getting another call in 5 min?. She ignores me, and what do you know my keys have all of this security stuff attached to them that they decided to leave on there.I dont know man, surreal, and kind of funny. Id say pick up a car here if the deal is correct, just be ready to deal w some miserable people.

These guys are thieves, liars.If you want to purchase a car from hertz go to another location. I traded in a car, turns out they did not add the trade in value on the contract for the car I purchased. Then when I requested to get my old car back because it was not on the contract I signed, I was told by Adrian that it was already sent to the auction. I stopped by the place and my car was still sitting in their parking lot. I would not recommend this place not even to my worst enemy..

Worst car dealership ever. The person I talked to was Abel Payo and he had terrible communication skills plus he did to much lying. All the cars have scratches and dings on them. You have to pay to fix it. It took them a week to paint a bumper. Poor customer service. They dont own up to anything the blame everything on other people. Dont shop here They lure you in with low prices but its terrible service.

Dont go here bunch of dummy boys working here trying to play you and listing the car for one price and when you try to negotiate they try to raise the price so you feel threatened and pressured to buy the car asap. Told me the car is supposed to be listed for more like get outta here. Waste fo my time called out fo work for this smh.

Brought a car today from Hertz Car Sales Hawthorne blvd Torrance ca. the delivery of the car was done as if they give the car to the waiters in the hotel to do the wallet parking. Just after getting into the car I have noticed a weird noise when the ac starts and now I am confused to whom to contact. The car company or Hertz. There was no clarity or information about the 12 months/12000 miles limited warranty.

Horrible service. Sold a car with a bad transmission, and didnt send proper paperwork for a contract cancellation. Dont buy from them.
