Heritage costumes was a pleasure to work with. I had a last minute order during a busy season and they were extremely accommodating. They called to help me get the perfect fit for my husbands costume and the shipping was incredibly fast (to TX). I am very impressed with the quality of the uniform (especially for the price). Thank you so much for all your help! I will definitely order from Heritage Costumes again!

I placed an order for an item in March 202 and never received my order. I have sent numerous messages asking about my order over the last several months, but have never received an answer (its the end of July now). Ive tried calling several times and nobody has answered. I sent messages through their Facebook page, and have received no answer there.Ive been cutting them some slack because I figured they had to close down operations due to the coronavirus, but I would have appreciated an answer to my inquiries, if even just to tell me that Im out of luck for my order AND my money. Ive run out of patience.They have stolen my money and skipped town as far as I can tell. Be warned.

I have decided to delete my original review since the owner responded by saying my review was highly inaccurate and I was telling untruths. Instead of reaching out with kindness, the owner has decided to justify their poor customer service, by berating me, and others, who were dissatisfied with the way they were treated by Heritage Costumes.

From inexpensive to moderate prices. You get what you pay for. I purchased a Long coat & had it altered through Heritage & am very pleased w/the prices, the fit & the quality of merchandise. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Had a Great experience with the friendly staff. They were knowledgeable and able to help me put together an amazing Abraham Lincoln for my Sons School. The Costume was great quality and I Recommend them Highly.

Definitely a great place to stop if you are looking for theater makeup brands such as mehron and Ben Nye. They have an awesome selection makeup, sprays, and whatever you need. I didnt really go for the costumes just for the makeup. It beats buying them online and having to pay shipping. Its definitely worth a visit to this little Nook you would be surprised what you would find. The staff is nice and very helpful.

Great little #costume/ #wardrobe/ #garb store! They literally have everything! I was so blown away. I took my munchin in there, and he wanted to buy everything. They have a HUGE selection & then some. Theyre tucked away, so, you really dont know theyre there, but, well worth shopping in. If youre a #thespian/ #dayplayer/ #reenactor, then this is your place. If you have kids & you need costumes for school plays or event, then this is your place... their prices even beat Spirit Costumes!

Heritage Costumes has been very difficult to work with. I purchased the wrong costume for my kids school function and had to return it. They were not friendly on the phone any time I called. They didnt provide any details when they processed my return 3 weeks after they received it. They said they just finished their busy Halloween season so I got my refund in December. I had to call them again and ask for the details of my refund amount since they only emailed me a total amount. AND they charged me 15% re-stocking fee on the sales tax not just the items!!! I was hoping they would be good to work with since I like to giving my business to local companies...

Buyer beware! We ordered online. The box arrived crushed with everything thrown in... some not even in protective bags... and no return label and no packing list. Some of the items were not the size we ordered. The costumes were of poor quality and none fit as advertised. We live in a federal disaster zone and we were mandatorily evacuated during this time with no delivery services.. which is a permitted exception to their return policy even if we were to be late on our return. After we returned home from our fifth evacuation totaling nearly 3 months (not one day of evacuation as this store claims in their response), we hunted on the internet for the return address, repaired the crushed box and returned everything less than 30 days later with a note explaining why we were returning. No refund arrived on my credit card. I then received a phone call offering me 50% of my purchase cost with the excuse that the order was received 34 days after the box left the warehouse instead of 30 days. They threatened to got to war and zero refund if I didnt accept their offer of 50% of my purchase cost. They then threatened me by email. Scammers and crooks and generally unpleasant... dont order from these people.Note that in their reply to this review on Yelp they admitted that they plan to keep 50% of my money AND the costumes which I returned under their return policy. It appears they sell and resell the same costumes and keep 50% or all of the customers money each time. Check the other reviewers saying the same thing on Yelp... they are not honest people.Update: Their employees have been bullying me and harassing me on facebook ever since I posted this review. One of those bully employees (Nicole G.) posted a 5 star review on Yelp pretending to be a customer. They kept all of my money AND the costumes I returned at my expense. Unfortunately they resort to lying, slandering and blaming the customer for the fact that they do not honor their posted return policy. After a month of enduring this abuse, my credit card company did honor the return policy and refunded the money taken by Heritage Costumes. Avoid this company.

They had what we needed, but for a full costume it is pretty expensive. But if you need a costume in a hurry, they have it.

The employees are very helpful and courteous when advising your costume selection.
