The service was great! I made an appointment online and that was quick and easy. The service technician Ms. Wood was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I did wait for my regular service maintenance and it was busy this day so the wait was 1hr, but the waiting area is comfortable with a TV and refreshments. I would highly recommend getting any lexus vehicle serviced here.
I bought brand new RX450h 2022.After a month of driving, the vehicle moving over 30 mph, knocking sound come on while pressing the brake.Service advisor told parts aren’t ready and check until the next service 5k miles due. Car only have 1000 miles right now. I’m disappointed.I was paid over $60k and doesn’t feel like driving Luxury with this annoyed sound. Bad experience. ☹️👎🏻👎🏻
The service department is outstanding. Customer focused and very good at what they do. My service today was very positive.Sales management is more like a Chevy dealer then a Lexus dealer. Have bought close to ten cars from them and on my last car they deleted the service package for the first time. I did not check so it is my fault but I never dreamt a Lexus dealer would do that. Also sold an off brand tire package to my daughter that another Lexus dealer had never heard of. Both moves are a bad reflection on the Lexus brand. Make sure you read everything in the contract before you sign on the dotted line.

Revision to Original Review, Upgrading from 1 Star to 4 Stars:After submitting my original review (see below), Mike Meagher, the General Manager, reached out to me to acknowledge the unsatisfactory chain of events regarding their price hike and he committed to making it right, including honoring the originally quoted price. He was very professional, apologetic, and understanding, and he invited us to take the vehicle for the weekend, which we did. As expected, the GX was great to have as we ran through our weekend routine....its a really great luxury SUV. With the pricing having already been settled, I ended up purchasing it today. The remainder of the buying experience was great. Gordon Kimble continued working with me, and his service was first rate all the way. I would highly recommend working with him.Ultimately, Lexus of Towson came through with a great vehicle for a great price with great service from Gordon and Mike, and for that Im truly grateful. Given that, Im upgrading my rating from 1 star to 4 stars, and it would have easily been 5-stars without the SNAFU on the price. That simply should not have happened. My wife and son went to visit the dealership last night to check out the vehicle and met with Gordon, who said that the car had just been delivered and needed to be cleaned before they could take it for a test drive, but that we could drive it today. During the day today, Gordon and I communicated multiple times via text, and when I was getting ready to go test drive the vehicle, he informed me that the sales manager would not honor their web price, and was raising the price by nearly $4300, but that hed take $1000 off of that higher price for me. I was shocked! Now, Im not naive...I do recognize that many cars (especially luxury and sports cars) are in short supply right now. That being said, chip shortages and high customer demand did not start this afternoon. Lexus of Towson had the opportunity to honor todays advertised pricing, and they chose rather to chase a few thousand dollars at the expense of their credibility and business ethics...and certainly at the expense of my business.Dealers using the web price to lure customers in for a bait and switch is bad form....just sad.1 star, would not recommend.P.S., I also contacted Len Stoler Lexus (about 10 minutes west of Towson) who has similarly discounted web pricing on the GX, however they have agreed to actually honor it. After todays experience, Im not sure Im interested in doing business with Lexus at all, but if I do...I may try with Stoler and hope not to get the same shakedown I got from Towson.
When you pay $400 for two keys and drive off, you wouldn’t think you have to test them and sure enough one key wasn’t programmed correctly. Another trip to the dealer cost me 45 minutes and only an apology from the nice service rep. Deserve more than that.

I had a 10:15a appointment. Finally got checked in around 10:25a because they were very busy I was pleased with the work.But the customer service from my consultant wasnt too great. When we first met he never introduced himself. He looked very overwhelmed and distracted. . And after waiting over 3 hours for my car I had to go and ask him what was the status of vehicle. But overall, I was pleased with service.

What a great buying experience !So first off this is my first Lexus, a 2022 GX-460.I traded my beloved 2017 Toyota 4Runner limited and have to say I’ll never look back. The 460 has so much more luxury and creature comforts it’s amazing.Sales person Laurie V had everything in order when I arrived. Vehicle was perfectly detailed and ready waiting with a full tank of gas. Laurie walked me through all the features the 460 has and made sure I was comfortable using everything and answered any questions i had since the 460 is like a space ship compared to my old 4Runner.Finance specialist Matt Meagher was super efficient and easy to work with. No hard sell tactics. He did a great job at explaining pros and cons of additional services that are available for the vehicle. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Shop side review only. Crooks is a mild name for this place. They told me to cancel my 3 week travel plans and the thousands that were spent on it. All to immediately get my car in for service due to the warning code that means battery fan filter is clogged(hybrid). They were going to charge over $800 and make me cancel all of my plans just so they could over charge me over 800 bucks to clean out a filter. I fixed the issue in literally 5 minutes and all I needed was a shop vac and brush. To over charge for such a simple task is one thing. But to make someone cancel thier plans in fear saying the car may catch fire get it in right away. Shows there are zero ethics, morals, or values with this crooked chop shop. If you are out of warranty go somewhere else.

My Service Manager was Ok, the Clerks at the reception and the Valet Parking guys they were not. They need to be more cordial and attentive to customers. It was nothing like that 5 years ago. Clerks on personal phone call conversations while customers wait standing up should not be allowed. Waited too long for someone to ask me if I have been helped. Valet people cannot find my vehicle and thought that was a joke. They need to take their job serious, otherwise they should not be working in LEXUS.

Recently we had a State Inspection done by this dealership on my daughters IS 250. They told her that she needed a new windshield and that the battery was the wrong size. Total cost would have been approx. $830 plus labor and $100 for the inspection itself. After rescuing the car and during our follow up call with Service Consultant Brandon Scott we were told that the windshield was chipped in 3 places and that the battery was unsafe. We had several people take a look at the windshield (even with magnifying glasses) and none of them saw any chips, scratches etc. Until today we are wondering and searching for those mystery chips. In the meantime we had the car inspected by another shop. The car passed immediately without any findings. Not even a battery issue was mentioned.We purchased a car from this dealership several years ago, were very happy and had a good experience with them. This was one of the major reasons for having the car expected by them. It was an extremely disappointing experience. Suffice it to say, we wont be back.

Don’t waste your time and money coming here to get a Maryland state inspection as it’s another way to get money from you by coming up with flimsy excuses to having to fail you by pointing out something unnecessary so you have to pay for the repair. I recently got a Lexus so I stupidly came here though I would say my initial encounter with service advisor Vince was great however I couldn’t not speak much about another encounter JAMES who clearly lacks professionalism with no customer service as even though I had an appointment left me waiting and went to lunch so I had to wait for hours then finally for them to tell me that my new car didn’t pass MD state inspection (meanwhile i serviced this call at the same location 2 days prior with VINCE and everything was perfect)…. So I took my car and drove across the street close by and passed the inspection without any problem then I double checked with our family mechanic who also said I Should have passed the inspection as nothing was wrong with the car….I lost my wheel lock and also spoke to James who gave me a complete wrong information but since I already knew how incompetent he was, I hung up and spoke to another advisor who gave me the right information and actually transferred to parts and services then I spoke to another person who yet again provided another Outstanding service called ANTHONYPlease go somewhere else for Maryland state inspection and I will continue to double check with family mechanic before coming here for any work to be done.It’s just sad that a bad encounter with one person has prompted this review as I’ve actually received good services from other advisors working here.
My family and I have been a long-term Lexus customer for years, and this is by far the worst Lexus dealership Ive been to. I made an appointment with Ben to come in and discuss prices on a new car I had saw online. Ben was rude and not helpful at all. Not even 5 minutes into our conversation, he gets a phone call and starts talking on the phone instead of paying attention to me. I offered the price that other Lexus dealerships offered me and all he said was Wow thats a good deal. Not offering to lower the price whatsoever. He probably assumed that I didnt make enough to buy the car since I was younger but nonetheless, thats not how you treat any customer. I had driven 2 hours to come here since my local dealerships didnt have the exact specs I was looking for, if he didnt want me to waste his time, dont make me waste my time. Ultimately I got the same exact car from another dealership almost 10k below their out the door price. I would highly recommend the other dealerships in the DMV area instead because this place is ridiculous.

The process from start to finish was amazing. I had to preorder the GX 460 Blackline Special Addition took about 2 months to come from Japan. I got to the dealership late because i had to work all day. Everyone was so kind to stay past work hours to let me test drive and fill out paperwork. The financial part was one of the best experiences i have ever had buying a new vehicle. Quick and painless no waist of time getting pushed to purchasing unnecessary accessories. I was serviced by Matt, who gave EXCELLENT customer service from the time my car arrived, until the time I picked it up. Matt gave me updates about my vehicle as it was being serviced, and even made sure that I received a quality loaner car until my car was ready for pick up. The repair was quick, eventhough the part I needed had to be ordered. I was pleasantly pleased, and will be returning in the future!

Car took forever. Quoted a different price over the phone than when i arrived. Seemed to charge an outrageous amount for a 15K normal service. Never heard of this new service they recommended. Told if I didn’t I could be fined due to my lease. The one thing I specifically asked fir is my trunk to be vacuumed. Never was done!
