Nice coffee place in the heart of traverse city. The location is good. I like the ambience. They’ve made it local. Interesting collection of coffees. You can grab a cup of coffee and sit across the street on the lake front enjoying the amazing view.A suggestion to the owner- please add dark chocolate mocha to your menu. I’m a big fan.

First time visitor. Had a very tasty latte. Coffee quality was much better than the average shop.A line out the door was another good sign.

Too expensive for a frozen coffee! I dont know who came up with their pricing scale, I always thought the more you buy the less it was! A 16 oz is $5.19, a 20 oz is $5.90 so a $0.70 difference for the 4 oz, I ordered a 24 oz which is $7.85 thats a $1.95 difference for the extra 4 oz complete rip off on the 24 oz. I ordered a 24 oz and had paid before I realized the price will never go back there again coffee was mediocre at best, would have got a better drink at McDonalds sad to say

I wanted a good cup of coffee on a rainy day. Parking was easy, coffee was super, and pastries were very tasty.If I get back to the area I will made the shop my daily shop.

Absolutely love their coffee. I had the traverse city cherry and it was amazing. You can actually taste cherry in it! I also bought a bag of some that was pecan flavored and it also was amazing! Cant wait to go back

Definitely worth a stop on your trip through Traverse City.The coffee shop is located on a corner that is easy to walk to, and is right in the middle of eclectic shops and art galleries and boutiques.the shop is modern with many spaces comfortable for sitting and having conversation. They sell desserts and pastries, as well as fresh roasted coffee.

One of the best iced mochas I’ve ever had! Ask for heavy whipping cream! Delicious!!

I love Espresso Bay! The cherry truffle mocha is wonderful!

Espresso bay has a lovely local Traverse City feel. The South Airport location is spacious and charmingly decorated with local art and comfortable seating. There are used books for sale there, too. The downtown location is more crowded, but equally beautiful.My favorite drink is the lavendar latte (with oat milk) The coffee is warm and almost nutty, and the lavendar gives a light but lovely aftertaste. Its amazing.The service has always been awesome and the drinks are always a treat.The cups are not biodegradable or recycled, so I wish there was more consideration for the environmental impact. If you could bring your own cup or if they offered a reusable option, that would bring me to 5 stars.Nevertheless, is definitely the classic, quaint coffee shop youre looking for.

Coffee and cappuccinos always good. Love there gelato which they were out of for some reason last time I went in but still good experience. Nice casual place to sit talk or read a book while have a cup of joe. Staff always very friendly also.

Good smoothies. Giving 4 stars because I paid extra for whipped cream and received my smoothie without it. Had to ask and the girl seemed annoyed at my request.

Coffee was okay. There is better downtown. To us this place is the spot when everyone else is closed

Walked in and was greeted by smiling eyes behind their mask. The young man that helped me was very helpful and patient. He presented the specials in a helpful yet simple manner. The other boy behind the counter was off to work immediately after I gave my order. Barely had to wait! Music and atmosphere was great. The two boys behind the counter seemed to enjoy their job and were very pleasant to be around. Would come here again!

A nice Espresso Bay with a good variety of coffees and treats. We were glad they sold Third Coast gluten free items as well as a plethora of gluten filled items. The roasting room was new to us but welcomed none the less. It’s a coffee shop that does what it should.

This is a great place to go if you like the taste of coffee syrups but not coffee. Served its purpose I suppose.

My favorite coffee shop in Traverse City. So many choices of coffee and other specialty drinks . Assorted pastries and bagels. Nice atmosphere. Sip your drink while enjoying a good book or surfing the web watch the city life pass by . Such a nice relaxing way to spend an hour of your morning.

I love this coffee shop! During the cherry festival it seems like they always have a small wait but its totally worth it! The iced Chia is fantastic on a hot July day. Also, check out the wifi speed in the attached screenshot. Its blazing fast! My favorite place to chill out while the wife shops during the cherry festival!

The girls were so nice and I ordered a cookies and cream frappe like drink and it was so good 🔥

Ordered 2 coffees to go. They forgot to make one of the drinks and made a group of 5 drinks before ours. That group was behind us in line. Then blamed it on someone else must have picked yours up. Which was impossible because we walked up immediately when they called the name for the first drink and only one was on the counter. Drinks were ok, but nothing special.

Loved sitting outside to enjoy the morning with a delicious iced coffee and bagel! Lots of variety too.

Perhaps one of the coziest and warmest coffee shops in the city. I got my order quickly and sat at a window seat. It was quite pleasant to sit there and sip, watching the cars go by. I highly recommend this downtown staple.

Wont ever get return business from me. After almost 2 years its time to find a new establishment. I walk in and Im greeted with do you need a mask I politely explain that Im exempt for medical reasons. Im then asked to see proof of a medical condition. I then politely explained that hes not a medical professional and to ask about medical information would be constitutionally wrong. As this mans frustration Grew He then stated that he was the owner, and that its against the law to not wear a mask. I explained there is no legislation on the books pertaining to mask wearing being a law. He then stated that he was the owner and that it was illegal for me to not wear a mask or prove a medical condition in order to purchase their products.....After I explained the effects of wearing a mask the man then stated its illegal to not wear a mask and asked me to leave. The person I was with was able to place my order on my behalf and the order was not even the right order and tasted bitterSMH

A cute little coffee shop. The specialty drinks are pretty sweet but since I have a sweet tooth thats a plus for me. They also sell a wide variety of coffee beans and other coffee accessories.

In the past I have gotten drinks here and had inconsistencies in my drinks. Ive recently started coming here again and have had nothing but consistent, yummy drinks. I appreciate seeing that this business is improving and growing, providing better training so that everyone is on the same page. They have a very wide and unique variety in flavors (peanut butter, cherry, mocha, coconut, etc) and have smoothies as well. I will be back more often.

I was in the middle of a kayak bike tour dying for coffee and stopped here. It was so amazing and in a great location.

Average coffee. (Which is the nice way of saying that they are below the mark for every other local coffee house)Baristas seriously looked like they just rolled out of bed. And that’s also a nice way of describing it.

We enjoyed an almond joy latte, reese latte, and a great cup of hot chocolate. Quick service and reasonable prices.

Good diary-free gelato options. Strawberry Banana has strong strawberry flavor and the mango peach is delicious with robust mango flavor. The tea selection is good. I tried blackberry sage. It was unique and good. Cozy atmosphere, but can get chilly when the doors open in the winter.

Very friendly service in a clean cafe. I had a large hot chocolate with blueberry flavor added and it was great 6 bucks is kinda high but worth it for the great flavor. Highly reccomended.

Expresso was out of the world 😄 store was colorful with so much art !! Gelato was nice, we had hazelnut and cashew . Only complain is too much sugar in Chai latte ☹️ wifey not happy.

Great tasting coffee however I will be honest when my husband and I came in to order one early morning the barista Paula seemed as if us being there was a complete inconvenience to her.. she just seemed cold when we would ask questions about the menu and adding creamer to our coffee! I wish we could have had more friendly service.

Been waiting more than 18 minutes for two coffees. Even went to two shops while my husband waited and still nothing. Poor owner the high schoolers eventually stopped taking new patrons so they could catch up but the girls were making drinks for themselves in the process.

Ordered 2 - 20oz reg black coffees. They only had enough to fill one cup. So we watched them split 10 oz of each and top it off with decaf because “they couldn’t find more filters”

Nice coffee shop. I only got a quick drip coffee to go, so I cant speak for their lattes and such. But the service was quick and friendly, coffee was good. They had cold brew available I saw at the end of the counter.It looks like they offer a selection of baked goods too.

Even though I requested unsweetened oat milk with my latte, my latte was extremely sweet and the coffee itself tasted burnt.

Walked and walked right back out. The employee nor customers were wearing masks, not even walking around or at the register. Unbelievable and quite a shame for these times.

You guys should get some salads and possible soups that would be awesome

Beautiful place! Batistas were incredibly kind! Very nice warm feel. Many people come and relax there! Even was WiFi if needed! Ask the baristas for anything, they will be so glad to help!

Very cute and comfy little coffee spot, very clean, very friendly baristas and the drinks are deliciousss. I got the Cherry Blossom Latte and my boyfriend got the Lavender Field Matcha Smoothie. Both were light but delicious, exceptional flavor.

Pumpkin nitro coffee was thick and sweet. The menu is difficult to read and all the drinks are very heavy on the sugar.

A great coffee shop! They have a huge selection of coffee and tea beverages, and there is something for everyone. The shop itself has a lot of seating: everything from tables to bar tops to couches, all with room to spread out and great views. If youre in need of a pick-me-up and a place to work/relax, this is a great choice!

Definitely TC Pricey....Coffee, scone, 16oz iced coffee, and muffin $14. Table top sticky all over. Main rug where you order, looks like it hasnt been vacuumed in a long time. First bathroom, floor super sticky... gross. (Should be part of intermittent and daily clean up.

I cant tell you how many times my shots were burned but they were always good for a good price so I never really complained. Overall this place is pretty good for a coffee shop.
