Quant coffee shop with nice patio seating. Interesting breakfast options that you don’t see other places! We only had time for delicious coffee + savory biscuit but will be back to try some other dishes.

What a delight! The food is delectable, the coffee drinks are creative and the proprietors are kind and conscientious. I greatly appreciate the variety in coffee drinks that rely on nuanced flavors rather than over-sweet, syrupy concoctions. The same is true of the food. Well-thought-out and meaningful recipes that are a pleasure to experience. Love the vibe of the space as well!

My wife and I loved this place so much!! Such a delightful blend of cuisines, and their coffee offerings are amazing! 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting amazing food that isn’t like what you’ve had before.

Loved it so much we came back here every day of our trip. The best coffee I’ve had in years and the pastries and food were delicious. Hands down the best hummus I’ve ever had as well. The owners were so kind and welcoming too. Can’t recommend it enough!

This place is AMAZING. From the ambience to the food and coffee. I cannot recommend it enough. My regret is that we are from out of town, and dont have the chance to get it again. We shared several different food items, and they were all wonderful. They recommend ordering online and then picking up your order. We walked in as they were wrapping up the order, so everything was perfectly hot and ready to go. They even use eco-conscious to-go containers which I love and appreciate. This is the kind of place I happily put my money behind and support.

One of my favorite restaurants in TC, honestly. Unique, thoughtful, & well-crafted food, plus a modern yet cozy atmosphere. After hitting the farmers market its practically a requirement for us to stop for brunch, but we also love getting dinner to-go & have yet to be disappointed by any dish, drink, or baked good!

Found this gem outside our hotel . We were planning to go to another cafe and while waiting for our valet car saw a lot of traffic going in and out of the place. Decided to give it a try and we are super happy we did. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Definitely this place should be on your list.Sorry no photos since we ate everything so fast.

Came in for lunch. Was told they are a cafe not a restaurant and the item I wanted would probably take 45 minutes and that there was no guarantee that the person I was dining with would get her food any time close to mine. This seemed like a strange reason. Could have accepted it more if they had just said they were short staffed.. Wound up getting coffee and a scone. Seems if you have items on your menu the expectation would be they could be prepared in a timely manner. If you want coffee and quick pastry its fine, but dont come for a meal unless you have the time.

They’re black coffee was divine!! Lattes and cappuccinos looked amazing! Have some seating inside and a decent size patio. Looking forward to the next visit!

Hands down the best restaurant in TC. The palestinian rice bowl and shakshouka were 🔥🔥🔥I was expecting more rice in my rice bowl buttt it was still amazing. The food was seasoned to perfection. I might have cried eating the makdous... 😭🇵🇸

Christian and Heather are passionate, kind, and knowledgeable about food and coffee. The best vegan options in traverse and the best middle eastern food I’ve ever had. Hexenbelle continues to make traverse city a more inclusive and delicious place. Definitely more than just a cafe.

The best chai I’ve ever had. The individual spices stand out, it’s not too sweet, and lacks that artificial flavor in so many typical chai lattes.My partners cappuccino was incredible as well. It was so flavorful with barely a touch of creamy sweetness from the milk and the way they pull the espresso.Highly recommend!

Great Damascus Lattes (make sure to bring your own cups, we brought some Mason Jars). The hummus and home made pita bread are delicious. The Shakshuka is full of flavor.

Absolutely amazing. I never write reviews but this spot is a true gem worth knowing about. Kind people, cool people, great vibes. I feel accomplished for finding it but thats all the credit I can take. Tell your date its a well kept secret and you will impress her with your food finding abilities.

Best place to get a quick bite in TC. Easy in and out with Parking right in front. Online ordering is quick and easy. All their food is awesome flavor with a reasonable price to match.

The food is incredible. My husband and I ordered dinner and it was so flavorful. Highly recommend! We even tried the chocolate cake (which I was skeptical it would just be another chocolate cake) and you could tell the ingredients were high quality... so good! We will absolutely be coming back to try more!

Outstanding flavors - this place brings the real ethnic flavors, not a dumbed-down version. Shakshuka has a warmth of authenticity, not gratuitous spice. Chickpeas have a great chew to them - more like an al dente pasta, not a mush.The hummus is elegantly smooth and creamy and the pita is light, delicately crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside, like you always knew pita was supposed to be.Even the sticky bun gets a rave from my very selective spouse.Highly recommended.

The owner is one of the rudest people in the world. The restaurant is chaotic with the young servers having little chance of success. We were brought food for other tables twice, and my wife’s meal came twenty minutes before I finally asked where mine was. That is a pretty big gap for a couple who came in together and wanted to eat together. I finally asked about it. The owner came over, accused me of causing a scene and being rude to the young waiter (I wasn’t). He explained that it was a cafe, not a restaurant, and the food comes out when it comes out. Rather than apologize for the wait, he chastised me in front of other customers, made it a point to embarrass my wife in front of others as we left, telling those in line “we had some rude customers today,” and made a point of banning me - again for an audience.I miss Blk Market, a simple enjoyable and kind coffee shop.My wife’s ten dollar salad was very small, and so salty she couldn’t eat it.We observed kitchen staff eating from plates, ungloved.Ordering was difficult, with no printed menu provided.The cinnamon pastry we ordered was good. The coffee was good. The salad was bad and my chick pea dish was nothing special.I see lots of good reviews about finally having a Mideast restaurant in Traverse City, but this isn’t a great one. It’s run poorly, with staff put under a lot of stress, and customer service by the owner is the rudest and most hostile I have ever encountered.

Wow - this cafe is amazing!!! Looked up a place to eat near TVC due to a flight delay and found this in eater. Shockingly only open for breakfast ans lunch - we just made the cutoff in timing. Food was spectacular - tried bibimbap, curry rice, chanterelles, hummus and pita, side of lebnae and the hibiscus tea. It was all truly Spectacular! Will come back next time in TVC. Please consider evening dining!!!

Came here early on a gorgeous Traverse City early morning- had the Shakshuka which was just amazing! The owner couldn’t be nicer. Worth a stop for the coffee or the food!

If you havent eaten here yet do yourself a favor and try literally anything. Amazing baked goods and breakfast items in the day, and incredible dinners on the weekend. Its healthy, delicious and filling. Stop reading this and order already.

Our first visit for impromptu brunch was fantastic! Creamy mocha was delicious and the breakfast sandwich was spot on. Wife raved about the Vegan Beets. Wonderful cookies for dessert - so worth it. :-)

This is my absolute favorite spot to eat in Traverse City. The service is fantastic. The drinks are delicious, and the food continues to amaze me with every new thing I try. I’ve had a lot from this menu and haven’t been disappointed yet. We are so lucky to have them in TC!

This place is awesome!! It’s rare to go into a shop and be amazed by everything in the menu. I’ve tried their, baklava, muhamara, maftoul, hummus, cookies desserts, coffee. Everything is exceptional, made with fresh and delicious ingredients, add the authentic Customer service and it’s a wrap. I can eat here 7 days a week and not get tired of it.

Delicious takeout 2 entree dinner last Saturday and look forward to,our next one. So convenient and great service
