Coffee was average cinnamon roll was average pumpkin donut not anything to write home about. People were very friendly and atmosphere was inviting. I gave it 4 out of 5 I just like the bake goods or the coffee but I love friendly people that are doing their best to provide a product and service. And maybe its just my opinion and others may find they like the coffee and baked goods. I wish them the best . I would suggest if you get the cinnamon roll to heat it up and I wouldnt get the coffee take your cinnamon roll to go and go to Starbucks

This coffee shop & bakery is a must stop when we visit TC. The Sand Bar latte is my favorite & they always have fun treats to try. Love that all the menu items are gluten free (plus dairy free, soy free & vegan if you are looking for that)!

Coffee was good but $1.50 for Oatmilk seems a bit steep. Compact space. Not have enough room for folks waiting in line.

I ordered a birthday cake and picked it up yesterday. It was beautiful! And it tasted amazing! All of their baked goods are gluten free, but I would recommend this bakery for anyone who wants yummy treats!

The patio here is great to sit and have a coffee and donut at. Donuts are a very large size compared to most others Ive had and they have a wide assortment of flavors. I had the lemon and it was very good. The cupcakes are also quite a good consistency, much better than most other gluten free options.

Amazing gluten free bakery. I vacation nearby every year and I always stop by multiple times per vacation. The donuts are delicious. They have a rotating mix of other gluten free options. I just wish they had a bigger offering at all times so I could get all my favorites every time I stop by. I also have two nephews who are dairy-free, and they love being able to pick real treats out of the case like everyone else!

Gluten, dairy free, and delicious! We stopped by on vacation and were very warmly greeted. They have very unique coffees and the ones we got were so good! Our kiddos got chocolate milks and loved them ❤️ highly recommend.

Look no further!! Heather and her team are incredible at what they do and create the most delicious, beautiful bakery items that are friendly for all. I am vegan, and had many guests attend my wedding that were GF and dairy free. Not only did our cake and cupcakes wow people with their beauty, but they actually tasted amazing, which can be hard to come by in allergy friendly goodies. I had several people, without any dietary needs, tell me they had no idea the treats were even allergy friendly until they actually read our sign acknowledging Third Coast. I also now drive out of my way anytime Im up north to stop by the shop. There really is no reason to go anywhere else. You will have something that EVERYONE can enjoy regardless of their dietary needs, and it will taste and look incredible. Thank you to this incredible team who are truly helping make weddings and events more inclusive!! Still salivating over all of our delicious treats!

I’m super happy this place exists. I am supportive of places like this because of food allergies I have. They are an important part of communities. Having said that, this place needs some improvements. The baked goods we got were not good. The doughnut was a dry, crumbly, over sugary cake like baked good that was coated in a hard sugar frosting. No bagels, no non sweet items. Very small selection. I hope this place thrives and grows and I hope they change some of their recipes.

I was so excited to find a gluten-free dairy-free bakery! I often get left out on yummy foods, I felt so special that EVERYTHING they sold I could eat! So yummy too! 24 carrot cupcakes are to die for!Adorable garden/patio area to sit and enjoy as well.

The place is a gluten free paradise! We tried the banana walnut muffins and they are our favorite ones! The muffins are very moist and flavorful- a must try for everyone.Also we tried different donuts- strawberry, lemon, double chocolate and latte. They are delicious.The place has covid-19 regulations - wear a mask, maximum of 3 people at a time.We would love to come back!

Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious & I mean DELICIOUS bakery items. The donuts were soft and did not taste like they were gluten free(they were, everything is!) Even my husband, a gluten eater, raved about the donuts and cookies. We were in the Traverse City area for 1 week and we went to the bakery twice.

We went here for drinks and didnt realize they were a place that caters towards those with dietary restrictions. I grabbed four different food items/pastries while there and was a little skeptical and was prepared for disappointment. Gluten free usually is disappointing. Not here! I would have never known they were gluten free. The pastries were better than a lot out there containing gluten. Great food before we hit the road on our road trip that day!

All gluten-free sweet treats. The coffee is tasty, so is everything else. We enjoyed being able to purchase everything, without worry, for our gluten adverse friends. It is a quick stop, very nicely decorated, with great parking. Cakes, cookies, pies, donuts, cinnamon rolls and more. All your favorite staples for desserts, snacks, even bread and croutons.

As a celiac for over ten years, these are the BEST gluten free baked goods ever!! My husband (who does not have dietary restrictions) couldn’t believe the lemon blueberry coffee cake was gluten free, as he usually notices the difference when we get baked goods elsewhere. The flavor combinations and textures are out of this world and the service is amazing! TC is lucky to have this gem - can’t wait to visit again!!

Friendly staff on top of allergy safe and delicious treats? Third Coast Bakery is a gem. While the lemon bar and cupcakes were delicious, the gooey peanut butter brownies are out of this world! Thank you for staying open a few minutes later to accommodate us out of towners whove been looking forward to visiting.

Im in love! I got an almond coffee cake (might be called something different) for a dinner party. It was the only thing they had that late in the day that would do for multiple servings and I honestly didnt have high hopes but OMG, it was fabulous! Great texture and flavor. I also had a chocolate lavender doughnut, lemon blueberry loaf slice, and a chocolate chip cookie cream pie (not all at once!) and loved them all.

The place was very neat and clean, excellent selection of gluten free items, the staff was friendly and easy to talk to, not to mention delicious..wow, 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Coffee is absolutely wonderful! It had me ready to run a marathon. Service was also great. If you’re looking for a place to study this is not the place. The Inside is small and gets crowded and the outside seating area is right next to the highway so it’s very loud.

I LOVE the lemon* donuts (maybe I’m remembering the name wrong). My mother who is gluten free introduced me to the pastries here. While I’m not gluten free I still choose this place because I think the pastries are so tasty 😋I’m glad TC has this speciality bakery! Can’t wait to return

We’re visitors to Traverse City and I was looking for a bakery to celebrate our daughters 17th birthday. I came across this bakery on google maps and saw it had a high rating, so I thought we can’t go wrong. We stopped into the bakery and was greeted by a wonderful young woman, when even though she had her mask on, I was able to feel her smile beaming through it! Anyway, we decided to buy a variety of things such as the peanut butter brownie, chocolate raspberry cupcakes, chocolate cookie, some other type of delicious cookie, lemon blueberry pound cake, A variety of donuts, Go-Go Energy Bites and tried a tall MI Fudgie drink with oatmilk. When we made it back to our vacation home we all tried the tasty treats and my family all approved! What delicious treats they had to offer, I would definitely recommend this place. And that MI Fudgie drink, was immediately gone before I left the parking lot. I had the hot version and my husband had the cold... both very delicious. You won’t be disappointed, this place deserves there high rating. All of our kids loved what we bought and so did the adults. We will for sure come back the next time we visit. Thanks for putting so much love into your baked goods, we could tell it was made from the heart.

Granted I haven’t been a huge fan of their stuff in the past (and that’s on me), the cherry almond streusel scone is fantastic! I’m entirely sold on them, and I highly suggest if you’re like me and have a hard time with the “-free” foods. 👍

Had a phenomenal lemon blueberry pound cake and an impressive mocha frosted donut. My wife has done plenty of gf baking (worked at a gf bakery for a while) and we have visited gf bakeries whenever we travel--this one has nailed the fluffy texture for cake! The norm is for the cake to be fairly dense even if it is good, but Third Coast has something few others do apparently.

Go even if you don’t need gluten free! Everything is delicious and the employees were super friendly and helpful.

Did not like the products at all. They only sell gluten free and dairy free products. Would have not stopped there if it was advertised as such on the sign outside. If thats what youre looking for, its probably very good. We had 1 piece of cake, 2 donuts, 2 small drinks for $20.

We got the lemon lavender cupcakes and the Ruby Ginger Cacao latte both were amazing!!! We are not gluten free but couldnt tell the difference.

Third Coast Bakery did a phenomenal job helping plan the cake for our wedding. What started off as a curiosity of the well-reviewed lemon lavender cake turned into one of the best relationships we developed over the course of planning. Heather is amazing to work with, she made the entire process extremely easy. I was in charge of the cake and didn’t even know where to start. She helped me through every step, including delivery and setting it up. I cannot recommend Third Coast Bakery enough.

Everything was amazing! All of the baked goods are gluten free and almost all are vegan, everything was delicious it was hard to not buy one of everything. But the best part was the service! We asked for recommendations for local gluten free/vegan restaurants and got an entire list of suggestions it was so helpful! Cant recommend highly enough.

I love this place. The staff is so incredibly friendly. The drinks and treats are delicious. I love the vegan donuts and the cherry almond scone is better than I could have imagined. It is pricey, but theyre using special ingredients and its small-business homemade, so its worth it for a treat. Great place!!!!

I was diagnosed with celiac early 2019 and I had such a hard time finding gluten free desserts that even kind of compared to normal bakery items. However this all changed when I found Third Coast! Their bakery items taste exactly like normal items and they are priced very reasonably. I cannot recommend them enough if you’re vegan, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, or just want a good dessert!

I am constantly traveling for work and usually try the local area for gluten free bakeries since Ive had celiacs my whole life. Let me tell you that this is THE BEST GLUTEN FREE BAKERY IVE EVER BEEN TO. I got a bagel, brownie, lemon doughnut and pumpkin toaster strudel kind of thing (what is a diet?). I have been so deprived from delicious doughy and moist snacks like this for ages. Definitely check this place out!! I will be going back and looking into ordering to where I live out of state.

Ordered the Mothers Day specials. They were delivered fast, so my wife was been able to enjoy her Mothers day gifts early. I cannot get over the amazing quality and flavor in each item. We also got some of the toasties and doughnuts and brownies. They are all delicious! I wish we lived closer, because we would go here for some family time out. I have been GF & DF & egg free & baking for 22 years. Friends & family love my baking and this place makes me look amateur. Excellent tastes & textures. Best Ive ever had & tasted cookie, donut & whoopee pie. Lemon blueberry scone is my favorite. Your glutenous friends would not know the difference. I sure hope this place lasts. I have not been to the storefront, but found their products on the counter at Cellar 152 in Elk Rapids. I look fwd to making this my meet-a-friend-for-coffee place. Update 5.15.21 made it to the storefront, excellent coffee too!

Such a lovely bakery. Has an elegant, sophisticated design. Not a typical beach look. Clean, modern, airy, calm, and immaculate. The food is fantastic. I recommend this stop to everyone, and often do mail orders from them since their baked goods freeze well.

This place throws all those out the window. Their food is amazing! Their baked goods tasted way better than lots of food with gluten, etc. in them. Third Coast is the best bakery in TC. Actually, Third Coast is the best Ive had in Michigan!Gluten free, soy free and dairy free. Most items are also vegan! Only a couple items contain eggs.Third Coast has a cozy sitting area inside and a couple tables outside to enjoy your treats. Or you can be like me and load up for the drive home!If you like something you better grab two! Items are different daily and when something is out, its out! They do offer a variety of standards items in their freezer.Additionally, they have a variety of coffee and tea. Local blends and house made organic syrups.Ingredients are local and high quality.Shipping is available.Staff is friendly and pleasant.I cannot recommended them enough! Definitely a family favorite!

THE BEST BAKERY in TC. I am obsessed with the apple pie, doughnuts, cupcakes, etc. Seriously look no further. Just because most of the items are gluten-free and vegan, does not mean flavor is lacking. Healthier options really can be tastier options and Third Coast knows whats up. Love this place SO MUCH!
