The service team at Suburban Hyundai is consistently AMAZING! Shout out to Eric and his team. I have always felt welcomed and well taken card of when I come into the service center. I haven’t purchased a vehicle here yet but if the sales team is anything like the service team I know it will be a very pleasant experience. Also sneak on over to the Infinite if you’re hungry - I hear they have an actual cafe with wraps and burgers.

My recent service experience at the Suburban Hyundai for the Genesis sedan was consistent with the past experiences - very efficient and pleasant. You drive your car right into the service bay and meet with their service manager to drop off the key and wait in a nice waiting room area with a chance to see new cars in the showroom. Once done, got a text that it was finished and signed few papers and was on the way back home. I highly recommend them for your Hyundai service

First the service center alerts me to bring my vehicle in. I make an appointment and get there a half hour early. They don’t even look at my vehicle they just say that the appointment was generated by accident and I didn’t even need to be there. So I said, I have some rain guards can you please install them for me and I will gladly pay. He comes back and says since they’re after market it will be $300. I said buddy, they’re OEM I just purchased them from your parts section. They didn’t feel like working I guess. Anyway, I’m not going to lose sleep over I just will never visit that location again.

Worst customer service/buying experience of my life. Had to find someone to help me after waiting unattended for minutes on end, understandable if they were busy but I was the only customer in the show room. My time with the Salesmen was awful, he was very short worded and seemed to have no interest in buying my car, or selling me one. During the inspection, which was him opening my car door for 30 seconds, and walking around half the car he determined my car was in fair condition. Then proceeded to offer me $4000K under the trade in value that 3 other dealers offered me. My vehicle is in very good, if not excellent condition. I took my car to another dealer, they gave me exactly what I was looking to get and sold me a 2021 Genesis G70.Wouldnt recommend any Suburban dealership to anyone.

This was my first experience with Suburban Hyundai and I was very pleased with the service. Though I was a little early for my appointment, Christopher May greeted me in a professional manner, explained the services that were available as well as recommended.The service area was clean and uncluttered. All the employees were wearing masks. Mr. May contacted me with updated information regarding my vehicle service.The estimated time of delivery was close to the actual time of delivery and I was impressed that my vehicle was delivered to my home. Chris was simply amazing. My car needed an oil change and upon inspection my old car needed service. He showed me the problem, what needed to be done, and how much it would cost. He set me up with a loner while my car was being fixed. He was extremely respectful, knowledgeable and kind. I will be coming back for future service.

Had a great experience with Mike. Unfortunately, we were postponed for a few months due to the unnecessary lock down order. But Mike Preece stayed in touch and made sure he was still ready to take care of us when they were able to re-open. As soon as they were ready, we continued the process of leasing an awesome Tuscon Ultimate. From turning in our old lease to leasing the new vehicle, doing the paperwork, getting a tour of the new car and getting us on our way, it was so effortless. Would recommend Michael and this dealership to anyone looking for a great vehicle. You owe it to yourself to drive a few of these before you make a decision.

I had a bad experience buying a new car from this dealership. I noticed a small cut on the panel holding the touch screen which I saw after reaching home. I promptly sent the photographs on the same night & visited the dealer two days later. Since the service center told us that it could not be repaired, I asked for a discount on the price. Jeff, the sales manager, simply pushed it on me implying that I could have done the damage while the car was in my position as i havent brought it up during my inspection at the time of car delivery. Its alright to decline to give any discount but he trying to push the blame on customer is simply not acceptable and very offending. Definitely not doing any business with them again.

Yesterday my family and I purchased a 2022 Tucson from this dealership. When I tell you from go it was a reat easy experience. My son took me to see Mario and test out some vehicles. In this visit I learn so much about what my options were, what the difference was in options, and how it faired with other vehicles not offered by them. I didnt feel bombarded. It was a sense of confidence in his knowledge of their cars that help me pass the information to my husband. (He said 3 years of maintenance with the warranty and I was shook,😂 dont judge me). My husband got the same level of treatment and we were both sold! They worked with our credit union and the ball began rolling! The way the whole dealership communicated with us, from Jeff (sales manager), Mario (my sales guy) and all in-between to the lady who processed my check was amazing! It was raining and they took the care to put my car on the showroom floor so that first sight was magical!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤗🤗🤗 It was great! I definitely recommend going to them for you car needs! When my car would not start and a jump did not help, the Hyundai service could not have been easier. I called the Hyandai care center for towing service, and they were at my home within 20 minutes. They took the car to the dealer, where is was quickly repaired with great communication during the process. The emailed video of my car in the shop detailing what was needed was very helpful and informative. When the car was finished (same day) the concierge service brought it back to my house - fixed, sanitized inside and washed outside. I never had to leave the house! All staff were very friendly, professional and information, and took a genuine interest in helping resolve the repair. Terrific dealership, wonderful service and very highly recommended. And I love my Hyundai too!

The service coordinator was in touch with me explaining the maintenance that I needed to get. He also explained an assistance program they have just incase you cant afford it at that time. This was very helpful especially having to children in virtual learning. Great service.

Made an appointment and came in for a test drive. The sales rep finally attended to us 25 minutes after our appointment time. Then goes on to inform us that the trim which we specifically asked for on the phone and were told there were “plenty” of wasn’t available for the drive. We made the appointment the same day so either the lady who made the appointment didn’t know what she was doing or the SA. Either ways, it was a waste of time. Why even bother making an appointment.

I wish I could give this place a zero. I was told that the Suburban dealerships don’t know what they’re doing but I went against the grain to try to get my vehicle serviced there anyway. Epic fail. The guy Jake they had assist me was not experienced, told me lies, was rude, and had no idea what he was doing. He typed in the vin number wrong and then accused me of not being the owner of the vehicle. They didn’t fix the car and are not customer friendly to situations where the repairs and diagnostics take longer than an hour. Don’t go there total waste of time!

And they said it was the front one and sold me the front light for 700$ and it might have a short circuit because it flick on and off. I told them about it and said bring it back. Great service with straightforward pricing. Service advisors are knowledgeable and go over as much details as needed before moving forward. In general your stay might be prolonged considering the nature of today’s world however they do offer Lyft service (huge PLUS) to shuttle you to and from the Troy area. So if there’re any errands you need to run you might want to time it with the day of your service if possible.

Sales people are very nice, I spoke to Valerie and Mike (I think his name was) The manager Jeff is a little rude and condescending but the car I test drove was really nice and overall had an okay experience, as good of one as I could in the 10 minutes Jeff allowed me to drive the car. (Told me it’s policy that they only allow 10 minute test drives so I wasn’t able to take it on the freeway at all as I felt very rushed and pressed for time, 4 hours before closing time) Also never heard of having to be 21 to test drive a vehicle, but he told me he would let me anyways. I’ve test driven many, many cars and never heard of that one. He acted as if I was freshly 16 and never driven before, and I’m 20 years old, so I didn’t like that.

The ISG (instant stop go) on 2019 Santa Fe stopped working. Dealership said everything tests normal, but admit they couldnt get it to work either. But since the car says everything is normal, they cant fix anything. So I get my car back with nothing done and still not working. Not really happy about that.

My sales guy was truly truly horrible. WORST I have ever dealt with in 35 years if buying cars. He had a unique approach. Rather than negotiate, he tried to yell u into the car. AFTER 20 minutes Id that nonsense se finally sales lets go see the salesmanager after I got up to leave....so I went to the sales managers office and let out you either need to retrain this guy or fore him and asked out. They had my 2017 Santa Fe for 6 weeks for a warranty repair. The day they received it by tow truck I was informed it would 2-3 days for diagnosis and confirmation of warranty coverage. I had to call on day for 4 for an update, but was told it was covered, the parts were ordered and they were expected the following Wednesday and my vehicle would be done by Friday. That Friday I called and my call was never returned. Monday I called again and was informed there was no time estimate on the repair. That Friday I was finally given a rental car. At the start of week 4 I called for an update and was told I dont understand why you are calling, we gave you a rental care. Mid way through week 5, still no update AND had corporate Hyundai involved, I called and was told it would be ready by the end of the week. The following day I was informed of another repair needed and the parts were ordered, no timeline given. I finally received my vehicle at the end of week 6. Next spring I will be getting rid of this vehicle and will be sticking with an American made SUV from one of the Big 3. Poor communication, poor standards of customer care, and a seemingly complete lack of motivation to finish a job in a reasonable time.

Im currently driving a 2018 G80/5.0, which is a BIG step up from the 3.8 that I was leasing. It has all the bells amd whistles, fully equipped, and the power when you NEED IT THE MOST!!! Suburban Hyundai of Troy has spoiled me with their curb/side diamond service, picking up and redelivering my car back to me at 5000 mile oil change intervals. Went for the first service of our new Sonata. Booked the schedule online. Staff were very courteous and friendsf. Waiting room has TV, coffee and is very quiet and comfortable.Update : 3/10/2019 : We received a call from the dealership even before we received the recall notice from Hyundai. Convenient Saturday appointment. I am pleasantly surprised by their new feature where they show the 27 point check via Video (where we get an SMS while waiting for service to be completed) Of course there is some sale pitch for additional services - but this time you get to really see whether the dealer is bullshitting or serious. Overall happy with their service though.

Service was completed appropriately. However, the customer service was poor in my experience. My car was promised before 10 AM, but when I went to pick it up, I was told be my service advisor that there was a mix up in the car order, and my vehicle hadnt been seen yet...how would this happen with an appointment? Also, they tried to sell me on $1100 for 30k mile maintenance,which is double the price at my former dealership. Not impressed.

I recently visited Suburban Hyundai to have some recall work completed on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0T vehicle and let me tell you, the whole process was seamless. Last month I traded in my 2018 Genesis G80 (which I really loved) for their new Palisade SUV, because I need a vehicle to tow with. I was given more than I expected for the trade. Mike Preece was my sales person and he could not have been more friendly and helpful with the purchase. Afterwords, if I called him with a question, if he did not answer his phone directly he always got right back to me and was able to answer all my questions. The service departments customer service deserves negative stars.Long story short - I took my car in for an 8am appointment. Was told it would be completed same day. This was a Friday, being stuck without a car would not work for me. I called at 2pm - the car had not been looked at yet. Called at 4pm and was told the service department was on the phone but would call me back shortly. Called at 4:50pm and was again told the service department was on the phone and I would get a call back shortly. I waited until 5:30pm and NO CALL. I went to the dealership and arrived at 5:55pm. They close at 6pm. When I said what car I was there to pick up, I saw confused and shocked looks. The advisor went into another offer and after several minutes of whispers, I see the advisor heading out the back to the lot. About 5 minutes later he returns with my car washed and says give me a couple of minutes and I will get everything in the computer. I then said, can you tell me if my car was looked at? If there was a problem was it fixed? The advisor then read scribbled notes to me, which I hear him whispering about in the office next door. Nothing is wrong with the vehicle. Blah, Blah, Blah, Its normal. We did this test and that. I then waited 10 minutes for him to enter all of that in the computer. I asked why I called 3 times and nobody called me all day and had I not just come up, they would have closed leaving me with no car? Yeah, sorry about that.Once given the keys, I asked if the checked the cabin air filter like I asked and he said he didnt think so. So, I waited while he checked that.I was then instructed to bring the car back in if I think its still not right and they have to Really look at it and dont worry, I have a good warranty. I have a feeling that my car was never even looked at.The kicker to all of this... I reach out to the service director 3 days ago and STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK.STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.

Service team was great, however the repair work was not done properly. Car was returned with check engine light on. Now the car has to go back for another two weeks.

Everyone at this dealership has always been very kind and transparent. Getting my car serviced here is really nice and very fast. Within about an hour of dropping off my car, I had received a video from my technician detailing each aspect of my car that they went over in their multi-point inspection. I feel very confident in my choice to take my car here for service.
