Came in recently for an oil change and to get this noise checked. Im not a car person, at all, so I was a bit worried with explaining what issues I was having. The advisor that helped me, Andrew White, was patient and listened to the poorly explanation that I gave him. A couple hours later I received a call back (dropped off my car for service), regarding what they found and the service they did to fix the problem. Ive worked with other advisors from Suburban Subaru and has always had great service. Wait time is long though, so I do suggest to drop off your car and pick up when ready.

This review speaks to Suburban Subarus service department. I brought my Outback for a scheduled service appointment to replace a burnt-out headlight bulb on a Saturday. We couldnt resolve the issue due to lacking a component, but Christian took care of the matter the next business day with absolutely no fuss.The short: friendly service, efficient diagnosis, and top notch fixes within my budget. Top marks for offering shuttle service and a very clean waiting room.The long:First up, I appreciate a dealership with weekend hours since a 9-5 schedule often makes daytime appointments tough. Christian, my service coordinator, exceeded my expectations for a visit to any dealership. The tech corrected a misaligned headlamp bulb and wire caused by another dealerships bulb replacement. I had to bring my car back another day because they didnt have my high beam bulb in stock, but Christian made it effortless to drop the car off and take a shuttle home or back (avoiding a walk or ride in 90 heat!). They diagnosed an issue with a connector wire and corrected it at minimal cost, and explained the issues clearly and easily. My car is running right as rain with not too much time required. Communication was excellent about what I needed to take action on (acquiring a specific light), when I could return with/without an appointment, and when it worked. I will most definitely return here for further service in the future, especially because Christian made the process absolutely painless and informed the whole time!

I called about a battery problem and had an appointment in less than 2 hours. They were extremely attentive and had the battery tested and replaced with a complimentary car wash in a short time considering that they squeezed me in. It was finished in less than 3 hours and I am delighted! I love my Subaru Crosstrek and the customer service experience has been outstanding as always!

Bought a car with 30k miles. They said it would be detailed prior to receiving it. Drove it home only to find out it had not been detailed but washed quickly. Straw or wood chips stuck in the headrest. Sticky syrup on the leather of the e-brake. Dirt and film on the side mirrors and more. I spent the next day detailing my car. Still cannot get the straw out of my headrest. I will never step foot there again.

Purchased an Outback in 2019 and had a bad experience with the salesman. We asked if the Outback came with a remote starter and was told it did, but it did not. After our purchase and some pressure they installed an after market remote starter. Because we loved the car so much I called to set an appointment on 9-18-2021 to test drive a new Wilderness package. The lady said they had one available per the manager. When we got there, the salesman said they didn’t have one in to drive. We have had repeated poor customer service from this dealer. We are going to purchase a new Outback Wilderness but not from this dealer.

Having a 2:30 appointment for a simple oil change. Mechanics wanted us to spend an additional $1400 for maintenance...over $500 to change spark plugs!!! We were not in a position to do it... kept my husband until almost 4:30 and then added another $1200 worth of suggested Maintenance. Their previous Service Manager, Mike, knew what was needed and what was suggested, their new people just want your money. We have brought our Outback to them since 2013 for maintenance and leased a Legacy from them. We are now in the market for a new Subaru, we will not be going to Suburban. After all that they wanted to do I learned that one of my front lights is out. Something I truly needed was overlooked. Does not give too much confidence

I bought my Subaru 2017 4 years ago from this dealer. But 2 weeks ago, I couldn’t pull out the key when I arrived my office, I dropped my car to dealer directly to fix, It should be quality issue, and I never thought it will charge me cost even though my warranty had expired, the guy also didn’t show me any repair quotation and let me to sign. But when I picked up my car, I was told about $786 cost! I couldn’t believe the cost and refused to pay it, then I was told to contact with Subaru service. After contacting with Subaru service, I got pay from Subaru. I think dealer should be honest, gave me quotation first, or told us to contact Subaru for free charge as their customers! And $786 was too expensive even though we need pay by ourselves. So we should always get quotation before fixing car!

Just stopped by to get an estimate for a needed repair. Initially there were no service advisors in the service area, I waited patiently till one appeared. I was quoted a very normal price for labor, but 4Xs the cost for the part? (What is a $60 part at auto zone or rock auto is over $300 here. Will update if it turns out to be a mistake. But, if I return, Ill definitely bring my own part.

Bought a 2013 town and country and paid cash. Butross was great salesman thr vehicle was in perfect condition and still 3 months later perfect. Had one piece of paperwork we needed for tags and they got back to us within minutes. Best dealer ive dealt with and my family is in car business ourselves. I live in toledo and will go back up for next vehicle even though its a Subaru dealer my van is in amazing condition. Our personal mechanic didnt find anything wrong.

My daughter goes to school an hour and half away and was coming home for the weekend. Her Subaru Outback had an airbag recall. I called suburban Subaru and the service scheduler was very helpful and asked the manager if we could get her in Friday afternoon, and he did! Then our service advisor Andrew was wonderful! We explained that she had to go back to school Sunday. When we picked up the car Saturday morning, we learned that Andrew and the technician stayed until 7:30 pm on Friday to make sure her car got done in time! Excellent service, very impressed!! Brought my car in yesterday for an alignment. Due to me alternating the suspension the mechanic could not get it up on the ramp. No big deal, I planned on raising it up and returning. Went to pop my hood this morning and my hood release latch cable wasnt in the release handle. I gave the cable a tug and it was snapped. I didnt snap it and used it that day. No one said anything to me about this they just let me leave.

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and agreed to replace the air and cabin filters. I was also supposed to get an application of the diamon fusion on my windshield. While the oil change, tire rotation and filter replacement appeared on my bill, the fusion did not. I can only suppose that it was not done. Also, this is the second time I have not received the 27 point inspection printout. The tech was supposed to email it to me since the printer was not working (it didnt work months ago either!) but never did. I was happy they got me a Lyft ride rather than wait.

Generally the service is pretty great. I recently purchased an upgrade, or what I thought was an upgrade. I went from my loaded 2016 Crosstrek to a loaded 2021 Crosstrek. I’ve been happy with the drive overall but have been disappointed as I continue to discover things missing in comparison to my previous experience.They’re not huge things, just minor disappointments. No cargo net this time. No rear seat back protectors. Remote start requires an app subscription. They did retroactively give me a credit for 3 years on the remote start subscription which I appreciate. They’re trying to make things right. But it’s unfortunate that I have to continue to discover each missing item.I think relationships are crucial for loyalty. My original sales rep and sales manager are both long gone it seems. I wish someone there knew me and my car better to understand my expectations in advance. I don’t like having to check for each detail when I pay the premium price expecting it to be included. I’ll be more skeptical in the future I suppose.

My experience with their service team has been bad. The issue is a lack of communication. My car has been in the shop for 7 days and I have not received one call or text updating me with the status. My calls are not returned. I stopped in to pick up my car since no one would return my calls, but it was not ready. I was told it would be ready the next business day, but it is not. I am still waiting to pick up my vehicle. I dont mind not having my vehicle as I know there may be issues due to COVID, but never calling a customer back is unacceptable in my eyes. Ive left at least 4 messages with no response. Ive called more often than that.

My husband had purchased his first Subaru with Joe Glaub at the Suburban Collection Subaru in May of 18 and had a great experience with him. So much so I went there for my first Subaru too!! Absolutely no pressure, Joe treated us like people not just a sale. The Suburban Collection isnt the closest Subaru dealership in our area, but remembering the quality service we received previously had been the deciding factor. I do believe Eric was the name of the finance manager (not sure of his exact title) but he was a hoot! Nice and personable, made us feel very comfortable.In the picture I provided you can see Joe and I discussing the features of my new car, he took his time showing me all the bells and whistles and never talked down to me and never rushed me! Hes a great guy and a great salesman!! Plus, there was a document that didnt get signed in the shuffle and he - without hesitation- brought it to my work for me to sign!!We hope to do business with them again and suggest their location to all of our friends and family!!

After 60 years of buying GM products I purchase of my first Subaru. Today I am on my third and still in love with my Subaru. Why? My Subarus have only needed regular maintenance (oil changes,...). Safety. I tell anyone the story of how my first Subaru saved my life with the all wheel drive kicked on black ice on I75. Any other car and I would have been in the ditch or worse. I love the new driving features on my 2018 they are now my new level of standard for safety. And the most important reason I love my Subaru is the family that I have joined Troy Suburban Collection Subaru dealership! They say family and they are family who always go the extra mile. For example, April 22, 2020 they picked up my car from my home. (I didnt want to go out because of Corvid19.) They changed the oil, washed and cleaned it and returned it to my driveway. The included tire rotation, full inspection, and new rear windshield wiper. Total bill $42.22.

I received a call on Friday afternoon saying that I could bring my Outback in for an free oil change before the end of the month. The woman on the phone assured me that it was free and she went on to schedule me for the oil change the following day. When I arrived at the service department they had no idea that it was a free oil change. This was confusing to me because the lady who called and scheduled it for me told me it was free. The guy who helped me was nice and ended up giving me a free tire rotation, but I still paid full price for the oil change. The service was fine but I felt like I was the victim of a bait-and-switch operation.

I bought a certified used Impreza sport from this dealer a few weeks ago. I’m from the west side of the state so it’s a bit of a drive. When I drove it, I loved it and I still do. I will also add that my salesman is a stand up guy and did his job as far as getting me sold on it so honestly I’d give him a five star. However..... one thing I will say is that when you get a certified used; you expect a legitimate inspection. I was told my tires had over half the tread life left and although that is true, one of my “inspected tires” has VERY NOTICABLE side wall cracking that I didn’t necessarily see until about a week after I drove it. Any tire store you go to will tell you that it’s not safe to drive on. They did replace the tire but be sure to look over your vehicle thoroughly before you leave the lot.

Found my husbands dream car, a Nissan 350z, on their lot. We showed up an hour before they closed because I found the car on their website and didn’t want to miss out. We were greeted almost immediately by our salesman Nuo Gojcaj, right away he was incredibly kind and accommodating. He led us inside to wait while he was finishing up with another customer and preparing our paperwork, he offered to make fresh coffee while we waited. Everything went unbelievably smooth from start to finish. The entire staff super friendly (and wait until you get to sign your paperwork on the cool electronic pad lol) would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle.Upon bringing the vehicle home and further inspecting it, you can see they make sure these vehicles are safe before putting them up for sale, ours had fresh brakes and oil change done. The Subaru manager has to review his lease politic!; the most important thing to check is the credit score. I am sad to not having a Subaru! Also We asked Ford, they told us that we can get a lease car!

Subaru is love....have you ever dreaded having to bring your car in for service at a dealership? I use to get that feeling allot when I visited Glassman Subaru...like I was being SOLD something every opportunity. Not at Suburban Subaru....I love this dealership. It is always a pleasurable experience. We have owned our Subaru Ascent for 1.5 years and absolutely love it.

Picked up my new Crosstrek XV, limited. Drew Piper was my Sales expert. He was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, and attentive throughout the whole process.I highly recommend this dealership. The manager, Dustin, was also very attentive and friendly. They were able to get me a test drive car similar to what I wanted and found the car I wanted quickly.The only issue was when I went in Monday at 5pm, a little early to my set time, there was a backup. Other buyers came in late to close their sales and I had to wait about 1.5 hours until I could close my sale. Overall, I was there close to 2 hours. I dont believe this is a dealership issue, just people should show up to their appointments ON TIME.

Made an appointment to see a pre-owned vehicle on 6/23/20. When we got there at the appointed time we were informed the car wasnt available because they loaned the car out overnight for somebody elses evaluation. They didnt bother to let us know...big waste of time!

Sad to leave them a bad review, considering their reputation, but I see no option.Subarus are one of my favorite cars, but the treatment when you own a new car vs a used car is really different.for such a critical safety recall fix, the airbags, it took long enough to get the appointment, but finally got one.On the phone Estimate ~ within an hourwhen arrived, estimated 2 hoursover 4+ hours and still not done.End to end from enter to leave, 5 hours!!!!I dont mind the time, but when youre held up for no reason and kills your whole day, thats not acceptable.Also, $60 for an Oil Change? since when? my V8 isnt even that much.I really hope I get a call from the service manager out of this. otherwise Ill drive further to Hodges
